Do an introduction, and depending on where you are you could interact with certain people. Most of us are dealing with the societal fall out of fighting a Dissonance within the city's walls. Others are just interacting in other sectors of the town.

@Alina13 As Rivermaiden said. You can do you own intro, but if you wanna interact with someone right off the bat, I suggest doing a quick read of the IC (Were aren't even halfway through page 2 yet). There's many good ways to begin as of now, just take one and run with it.

Yeah, this was such an odd situation. All the pieces happened to fall in such a way that it happened. I mean, what are the odds that the crowd would turn hostile at the same time he sent his Spirit away to handle the Behemoth? There is a lesson to learn from this, never do the exact actions that led up to this moment again. My thanks to KoL, I never thought I would have a character pushed so hard on his personality so early on. I should be mad, but I'm having a blast. How dare you challenge people to play in character embarrassingly so? I'm a little concerned at the lack of action so far, it's not gonna be pretty if this keeps up much longer...

Taylor just told an angry mob wear to shove it. She helped kill a behemoth and the want to cry about not killing the big monster in the right way? Puh-lease :3

I'm beginning to think your last comments aren't so harmless as the ones before, most specifically calling people for not posting and pressuring @RiverMaiden to meet your expectations might be having a definitive negative impact on the RP in general. We don't want anyone to feel pressured into anything here. The most we ever do is presenting a scenario and telling people to act and if they don't do, consider their characters frozen, but like I said many times before, telling people how they should act or not is beyond even our authority as GMs and someone who isn't one really should look before doing something that might impair others' fun.

Plus, I advise you to take care when doing jokes about one of us, however, I can't speak on @TheWindel's place, so I'll let they say it in case they have any complaints.

Adversity generally breeds much better opportunities for character development than a world made of saccharine. Even if someone might think that we are being needlessly cruel or rushing things out, this is really the best method of story telling that we know of, nobody is hampering your actions or interactions, thereby you can develop in whatever way you think is best.

For this RP specifically we thought that it was best to cut the massive amounts of slow paced slice of life on the build-up intro arc and jump straight to where the action begins, since people sign in for a story where they expect to use their characters in a way (in this case, super-powered magic combat with cool pets), I don't feel like it's a good thing to strangle them to another genre, just to build a story that might even be irrelevant later.

In sum, we are doing our best to keep the story fun for everyone, so we appreciate this kind of feedback very much, since it allows us to see that we are going the right direction. Of course complaints/criticism are welcome as well, so that we can do our best adjust the RP to everyone's expectations.

Hi again, indeed it seems like we have a deal of similar tastes.

Anyway, nominally we are full, but since @Kimiyosis seems to be stuck with RL stuff again, I'll let you join and still accept Kimi's CS whenever it comes. It's the least I can do after the deal with Chasers, probably.

After this I'm pretty much sure we won't be taking anyone else unless under special circumstances.

I'm not entirely sure I follow what you're saying since the only person I've supposedly "pressured" is RiverMaiden. And....

First and foremostly the 'disappointment' was a direct response of River's opening statement.
And was clearly a jest remark, as it should be obvious that I'm not sitting here getting all depressed and moody just because of one post (or lack thereof). The comment wasn't intended to be taken seriously, and I honestly doubt my so-called 'expectations' have much, if any impact upon the level of pressure felt by people. If that isn't the case and people are genuinely concerned they need to post for my sake... well... I'd be happy to refrain from commenting on them in any way henceforth.

In this particular instance River said they'd post in a set number of hours, and weren't able to do so.
That's perfectly fine, and I suspect something came up (and even if it didn't that's not an issue).
But since I've enjoyed reading River's posts so far, I was naturally looking forward to what they'd come up with, and was a bit disappointed when there wasn't one to read. Disappointment being along the lines of "Oh bummer, no post, ah well moving on~"

Furthermore I don't think I've told anyone to behave or act in a certain way. So I have no idea what you're cautioning me on (and as a result can't really fix my behavior). I've given my thoughts on certain events and issues, sure. But I can't seem to uncover anything that's demanding someone behave in a certain way.

Either way, I apologize sincerely to @RiverMaiden if they felt insulted by my comment, and as stated above will avoid further mentionings. But otherwise I'm not entirely sure why a GM is intervening when no actual offense (complaint) has been launched? Same applies to Windel, if they're offended by the obvious joke (that you acknowledged was a joke yourself) I'd be genuinely astonished.

I am quite alright, but you are correct in saying that I have been busy as of late. My post is already in progress, and hopefully I can finish by today, but my current responsibilities have been holding me back. You have not slighted me in any sort of manner, but thank you for your concerns.

To be perfectly honest, it warms my little heart that our GMs are willing to stand up for their players, even though the protection was not needed :)

The pressure was quite welcome at the time, since it stimulated my creative juices and helped me start my post strong. Now I just need time to finish.

@KoL Perhaps I should be clear. When I strike a line out, it's more a joke to not be taken seriously. I'm actually enjoying how this is playing out. I guess I was playing a bit by ear to get a good feeling of how this was going game play wise. Please, continue throwing the curve balls, I love a good twist in a story. Besides, this surprisingly still manages to be a good thing in disguise for Randar as I think about it. It turns out that he's gonna be sneaking away in the confusion once again

On a side note, how are you guys getting the picture thing for the top of every IC post? I like how they are all the same size and in a circle. I know, rookie question, but I'm still pretty new to forum games.

I just learned as well. I know 2 of the people in this RP IRL so they helped me. You use this website called "cutmypic.com.' You have to download the image to your computer then edit the picture accordingly. Just round the corners all the way and push done. Then right click on it and click "copy image address" and paste it into an thing with a center tag
