Happy May the 4th to everyone.

I am sorry that I haven't been around as often these last few days as I had hoped. However I would like to just piggy back off of something Arena had said. I don't want this dead air for 3 days to be a pattern. We'll pick up momentum for a week or so and then it will die for a couple of days. I understand it slowing down a bit as a lot of people are busy on the weekends or during certain parts of the week. But if anyone is unsure of what to post, or when to post, please let us know. There is no particular order, and I think we're all pretty good about not railroading people with posts. I will try to be on top of things more. I've had one event after another since this past weekend, and 4 today as it was Star Wars day. So I'm sorry that I dropped the ball. But I also need you guys to be accountable . So even if you can't post, for whatever reason, if you have plans on posting, if you see that it's quiet, please poke your head in and post something in the ooc, or send me a pm.

^^ Thanks!!

You have Sakaala's reply and her intrigue. After all, I have a feeling this is not meant to be an actual fight to the death here so early on with so many plot relevant characters, but anything is possible of course.

I don't suppose there will be a convenient moment in time for Emil and Ionathan to retrieve their weapons and armor before they flee the house?

@IcePezz, @ArenaSnow, I have finally finished a great CS. I had help and I greatly appreciate his help. Anyways, here he is!

Name: Rokk Tuthe

Species: Dragonborn (dragon-human hybrid)

Age: 21

Description: Rokk stands approximately 7 feet tall with shining, silvery scales, icy blue eyes, many horns sticking from atop his head and a tail a full 2 feet longer than his legs. He wears his steel armor, which covers most of his body, and helm, a white cleric's robe over it. On both the pendant around his neck and his shield sit the symbol of his god, Bahamut. Hanging from his right hip is his mace, a steel, jagged piece that his father had given him when he was young. It hasn't seen much of real battle yet.

Personality: Rokk is the type of being who would rather ask questions with a cooperative prisoner than intimidate answers from them. Though he doesn't like brutes much, he will respect them if they respect him. He's not too fond of most mages or psionicists as he was taught from a young age that magic not from a god was demonic and Psionics are, in his mind, a type of magic. He cares a lot for everyone and will often give someone who needs help a few gold coins if he cannot help them another way.

Skills/Abilities: Rokk is very skilled with his mace, his shield and knowing how to use both his ice breath and tail in battle. Outside of battle, he is quite the conversationalist, though still knows he has much to learn. He is good at getting answers from those who wrong him, despite the fact he's rather soft on them. He's moderately skilled at recognizing most beings skills by looking at them, though does get things wrong often. His best skill, though, has got to be preaching about his god, Bahamut.

Magic: Along with his Ice Breath, Rokk has 5 spells his god grants him.

Cure Wounds: He can cure most wounds from scratches to sword-slashes but cannot regrow limbs. This also cannot cure broken bones if they are not set right.
Inflict Wounds: If he has recently cast Cure wounds, he can touch another person and inflict the same wounds to them. If not, it merely give the target 5 deep scratches along the body part touched.
Create Water: With this spell, the cleric can fill a container, up to a barrel, with water or, if no container is chosen, make it rain in a 30-foot diameter around him.
Purify Food and Drink: With this spell, any food or drink that has been made inconsumable, whether by poison, mold, etc., becomes pure again.
Shield of Faith: The cleric selects one target who will take less damage for the duration of the spell, which is for as long as the cleric is concentrating or 10 minutes.

He can only cast a maximum of 7 spells per day and each spell thrice a day or less.

Backstory: To the north, there lies a mountain range. In this range, there is a mountain much taller than the others. This mountain is home to 3 types of beings.

At the base of the mountain sits the entrance to a great dwarven mine. The dwarves there are friendly, for dwarves, and allied with the town north of them. These dwarves are expert smithies and their blades and armors sell for a lot of coin.

Halfway up the mountain on a cliff sits a small town built around a church. The town, though full of humans, mostly worship the Dragon-God, Bahamut, whose church sits in the center. There have been legends in the town about Bahamut's chosen, those born with the blood of dragons. Because of this, the town has been given the name "Draconus" by the locals.

Close to the peak of the mountain, and on the other side from the town, there is a large cave. In this cave, there rested a dragon. Many brave adventurers dared to conquer the beast, but none prevailed. Then the great wyrm disappeared, never seen again, or so the legend goes. Only 1 small family knows what happened to the great silver dragon.

Rokk's father, Trubble, was born in the human village, though traveled to the base of the mountain when he was 12 to begin learning how to smith from the dwarves. With their training, he returned to the village 12 years later to open his own smithing shop, though often had to trade with the dwarves to get more materials and tools.

While walking around the church one day, Trubble met a beautiful woman with strange eyes. Franae was her name. It didn't take long until the two were spending much of their time together, with him continuing his smithing job and buying, as well as crafting, her many gifts. It took almost a year before he was ready to propose to her. She said yes before he even asked.

A month after their wedding, she was with child. He cared for her a lot, often taking her for walks before and after he spent all day at his smithing store. With the birth of their first son, they were overjoyed. Trubble had thought his son had been chosen by Bahamut to do great things. Franae was glad it hadn't been an egg.

Four years later, with Rokk running around using his frost breath on everything, Franae ended up pregnant again. This time, however, when their second son, Iis, was born, Trubble was confused. Two sons chosen by Bahamut? He confronted Franae with this for days until she told him she was a dragon. The next day, with both children, Franae and Trubble left the town to visit her cave. Much of the treasure she had stored was gone, though she didn't care as she had found a better treasure in her husband and sons. It was there she showed the man her true form. Rokk immediately ran to his mother and hugged her leg.

Many years later, when he was 12, Rokk began working for the church, bringing home a little extra money to help his family. Over time, he cared less and less about the money, giving it freely to his family, and more and more about spreading the word of Bahamut. When he reached 16, Rokk began traveling to other towns and cities, spreading the word of Bahamut. He was attacked in every village, town, and city he had visited, though could often scare the attackers off with his frost breath.

In a town much like his own, though not built around a church, he met a beautiful young woman named Slytha. She began traveling with him, following him back to his home in Draconus. Slytha did not get along with Franae at first, though the men knew not why until Franae had called out the fact that Slytha was from a bloodline of evil dragons that followed the laws of Tiamat, Bahamut's youngest sister.

Rokk listened intently on how Slytha spoke of Tiamat, wishing she had learned earlier of Bahamut. She despised the evil acts her family did. She wanted them gone from her life, which she has been successful with so far. She needed a place to hide.

With his mother and his lover arguing when left alone, Rokk had the idea to leave Slytha in his room at the church. It was while he was there he saw a letter that had come for him a day prior. After reading through the letter multiple times, he began gathering his things, gave Slytha a kiss, and left.

Take the spaces out and if I'm not shorter than you, my posts are roughly equal in average size. You're solid :P

Yeah but Pezz hasn't been on you to make them longer.

Edit: My brother's CS is too detailed. Who helped him?

Ah. Well, in a statement half aimed at IcePezz, as long as your posts add a solid direction to where your character is going, the lengths are fine. Longer is a nice thing to have, but don't push yourself to add artificial length when a statement can be well put in shorter words.

What I will say about your latest post is that it can be expanded to include some info about what collapsed on the way there - make it up, eh?- as I was imagining when the ceiling fell that there would be a somewhat big mess. I left that a little vague to be expanded upon to give the room a bit more of an image to those looking at it.

In general; Jon, Viet, Zero's up. If you don't have too much to add at the moment, there's room for talking about the scene itself (the room's left a bit vague, and there's still a big hole in the floor), possibly a search for some of the servants to help or otherwise try and get in the room to clear out some of the mess/help with the situation.

@RokkuHoshi, didn't forget ya - having a chat with 'Pezz at present.

@Belwicket, I admit I did my best to help @RokkuHoshi elaborate, at their request. I foresaw no reason not to do so.

You do have Haste cast upon you, so not only are you both exceptionally fleet of foot, your reflexes and movement are improved.

Goddammit, Rokku! You stole my answer!

Would they have visited Waeldeshore? It's likely, if they have, for them to know Regina. She became a bouncer for the inn for 4 years, maybe more.

And with that, farewell for the night. The blinding sun has returned, and with it, some of us go with the way of the moon and take our leave.
