The Tower stood off shore on a man made Island a twelve story Steel and Glass T the unmistakable announcement was "Titans Here"

Inside a yellow and red blur flew from room to room occasionally pausing and revealing a smiling blonde know as Jesse Quick who was inspecting her new home. It was built to withstand the Hurricanes that were known to hit here but also to survive the young people who would soon call it home.

The opening ceremony had been attended by many dignitaries including Jesse's mother an father as well as Bruce Wayne who'd bankrolled the construction from their companies. Jesse had been there too as the new leader of the southern team and that had been two weeks ago.

It had been her idea to not have the team here at that time because she thought her team needed time to become an actual team before they were exposed to public review.

The team roster was a deep one when compared to the other Towers across North America. Having ten potential members. This was because statistics showed that within three months there might be only five at the most remaining.

Jesse didn't worry about such issues instead she focused on the now and in this now she had a beach party to set up.

The Tower had it's own ocean facing beach that would have been the envy of the many resorts in the area and unmatched by even the grandest house on the coast.

She was so fast that it seemed to anyone watching as if the tables, chairs, fire pit and food appeared out of then air. She'd not told anyone when the team invitations had invited the others to show because she didn't need any camped journalists annoying her people before they got settled.

Once she'd finished setting it all up she put on her bikini and waited.

Strangefate

Stephen walked around his room, a book floating around him. He looked at a case in his hands, but not a normal case. This was one for his show. He stopped and looked at his swimming trunks, thinking about the day he came to the tower.

"It won't kill you to make a few friends." John said as they walked in town, heading to the tower.
"Oh come on, how do I get cases done like this?" Stephen asked, looking around.
"Simple, you don't. Relax, become a hero. You have your whole life to ruin it. Enjoy your teenage years. Who knows, maybe you'll meet a cute girl." John said as he got his lighter. "And with all these new heroes, maybe one will happily be on that show of yours." John said. "Now, do me a favor, and have some fun." John said before leaving Stephen at the tower.

Stephen let out a sigh and closed the book and folder. He changed into his trunks and grabbed some sunglasses as he left his room. "What's the worse that could happen?" He asked himself as he went to the room the group would meet at.

The spurs on the heels of Zenyatta's boots clicked as he stepped off of the small dingy and onto the shores of Titan island. His yellow, almost animalistic eyes scanned the tower and it's surroundings, taking in every last detail like an eagle just about to swoop in and snatch up it's prey. It met his expectations that was for sure, but Manhunter was never good at descriptions or comparisons and Zenyatta's expectations were rather low to begin with as a result.

As he watched, he noticed random assorted objects appearing on the beach. Occasionally he could catch a glimpse of blonde or red, but he was largely in the dark about what was happening. He slung his bag over his shoulder, securing it for what was to come. His face cracked along its left side, forming half-scales in random almost unnoticeable patches and tearing his mouth up to his back teeth. His pupils became slits, and of course, a rather large tail grew from his back.

Things were clearer now. A lot clearer. He could see the superhuman he presumed to be Jesse Quick sprinting from place to place, grabbing various bits and bobs and arranging them as if she had started hours ago. His expression didn't change, still the stoic old chap he always was.

He made his way into the tower and up to his assigned room. He unpacked quickly and took a quick look at his room. It was practically empty, nothing on the walls and nothing there to decorate it. If the rooms were made to reflect the heroes themselves, then they nailed Zenyatta's down to a T. He rubbed his thumb over his clawed index finger before letting out a low sigh and slowly beginning the transformation back to human. His tail rescinded, as did his claws and the scales. His eyes remained the same, and the tear on his mouth wouldn't heal for a few hours.

Zenyatta ran his hand through his long, unkempt hair. He had come in his full hero gear, he'd only hoped the others had done the same, lest he look a fool.

He made his way to the room he was told to meet the rest of the team in, seeing what looked to be two girls and a boy. Although, of course, Zenyatta was sorely mistaken in one aspect of that thought.
"Hello" He said rather meekly, noticing the others were dressed for the beach. "I'm a bit overdressed it seems" He spoke in a vain effort to make a bad joke.

The air would crack and shatter on edge of the island as Charles emerged from out of nowhere having just exited an empty instant dungeon sense it was convenient for going from place to place sense he wont have to deal with others and objects getting in his way. he' be reading a piece of paper with a slight smile on his face, he'd look to see a party seeming to be set up on the beach and raises a brow walking up to the party area watching everything that's set up "...didn't except a party.." he says "especially a beach one.." not having notice anyone else there yet.

Unlike many of those that had been accepted in order to form this brand new faction of the Teen Titans, Draco hadn't been sponsored by an existing hero. He had been one of the few that had needed to earn his place on the team... and earn it he did.

While the other members of the team were saying their farewells to those that had come with them while dropping off their stuff, Draco was in his new room alone. The room itself was rather spartan in order to allow him to customize it as he so desired, but unlike many of the other rooms it did have one thing he had requested; A little extra space that was akin to a walk in closest only without the door or railings. It just had to be a little extra blank space for him to do with as he wished.

While the other team members were dropping off their stuff and getting changed, Draco was making a shrine/altar to his Goddess. It was a rather bare bones thing since he wanted to go and meet his new team mates in order to see whom he would be living and working with and he already had designs running through his mind to improve it... maybe even paint a mural on the three walls and roof around and above the altar/shrine as well, but right now it was little more then a humble table upon which were candles, the iron hoof wrapped in barbed wire icon of his faith and the still in progress holy book that he was writing.

The prayer to bless the shrine in the Goddesses name lasted a few minutes, but once it was done Draco couldn't help but feel his spirits raise at the sight of it. Not wishing to be to formal when meeting his team mates on the beach but still wishing to look presentable, Draco decided to go with a pair of black shorts and a dark blue t-shirt... and a towel over his shoulder for good measure, depending on how things went.

The walk to the beach wasn't a long one, but Draco couldn't help but feel a little nervous about meeting new people. The nerves lessened somewhat as he saw the group that was starting to gather... being increasing again as he saw that two of his team mates were rather attracted girls wearing very nice swim suits. Taking a deep breath in order to calm himself and reestablish control of himself so as not to embarrass himself, he calmly finished walking up to the group and offered a wave in greeting. "How is everyone doing?" He called out with surprising confidence.

Jesse headed back to the tower Phasing through the open ground level's glass wall careful not to leave residual vibrations that xould shatter them and less than a second later came to a stop among her new team members

"Hello everyone" says the typical blonde beach bunny her hair still in motion as it floated across her shoulders coming to rest like an amber wave cascading over her tan skin.

"First of all I'd love thank you all for showing up for my little grand opening; you make me feel grateful to be the appointed team leader.

I'd have looked silly if you hadn't" says Jesse with a little giggle as in a blur she appears before each an shakes their hands

"Glad to meet you Stephen or do you prefer Strangefate ?" she says to the young wizard before buzzing over to shake J'zen's hand.

"How lovely to have you here J'zen

OMG we certainly have a bumper crop of spellcasters"

Then with a blur she stands before Zenyatta and smiles saying
"How wonderful you made it Zenyatta it makes me so happy to know we in South branch have someone like you on our side"

"Charles glad to see you take time out from your games to join us" Jess says with a cheerful smile.

"Greetings to you Draco hope you like the place" laughs softly taking his hand an shaking it

She blurs once more to stop before them all and Bow Theatrically
"I am Jesse Chambers/Bell otherwise known as the Fastest girl alive and I know I'm repeating myself but Welcome home; at least that's how I hope you all see the Tower.

I've prepared us all a feast on our snow white beach and if you require anything I've missed let me know

Her eyes sparkle with delight as she looks them all over once more

Strangefate

Stephen watched the girl go, from place to place, talking the whole time. When she shook his head he blinked. "Oh uh Stephen is ok when we are here." He said. "Or Strangefate. Or S. Or whatever." He babbled, then she was gone. She was pretty, no doubt about that. He shook his head, snapping back to reality, as she stood infront of the group once more. He looked a little confused when she called this place home. Home for him was, at best, a cabin out in the woods, full of things normal people should stay far away from. He then heard something about a feast, and smiled. He looked around the rest of the group, an odd batch, but nothing he hasn't been around before. "So, would anyone wanna share their story for a blog or podcast?" He asked them looking at the group.

Charles would see Jesse running around everyone "uh... ya su-" he goes to say then notices Jesse's otufit his face turning red and slight blood coming from his nose. he was mostly a shut in and never went to beach before so now seeing a lot more of females in swim suits of any kind had an effect on him as he collapses backwards in classic fashion with some blood coming from his nose and a stunned look.

The appointed team leader (Who looked great in a bikini), was fast. Very fast. She also didn't seem shy in the slightest either considering the way that she never stopped talking. When she appeared in front of him to shake his hand, Draco gladly took her hand and shook it with a practiced firmness; After all, crushing the bones in someone's hand to dust often made a bad first impression. "Thank you for accepting my request for that little extra room. I've already turned it into a shrine. You look kick ass by the way." Draco offered, his last words punctuated by a playful little wink.

The announcement of the feast seemed to perk him up a little, but as one of his new team mates asked if anyone was willing to share their story for a blog or podcast, Draco couldn't help but tilt his head a little as he gazed at him. "I wouldn't be against doing an interview. My name's Draco but I would rather be interviewed as Prophet." It was as good a place as any to start spreading the word of the Goddess after all.

He heard one guy say they would do it. He looked at the man, Draco, and raised an eyebrow. "Prophet? You're not a cult leader are you? Because I don't do so well with cults." He said. "Had one on the show talking about some alien spaceship behind the moon, and I was saying "Like, with people like Starfire and Superman, it's not hard to believe a spaceship is there." And then he told me to get on the ship I would have to drink this thing he brought and enter the "Forever Sleep" and that's where the episode ended." Stephen said.

Charles would shake his head regaining his senses and suddenly turn away from Jesse "!!! w-w-w-Why are you w-ee-ee-wearing such a o-o--o-outfit!" he would say somewhat stuttering his face would be as red as possible, holding a hand over his nose to try and stop the nose bleed.

Jesse laughs softly an says

"Why am I wearing this?

This beach isn't a clothing optional beach"

Her turquoise eyes flash with mischief as she settles the clearly troubled boy down an rocks back to sit on her ankles.

"I hope this doesn't mean I'll need to wear a suit in the hot tub"

Stephen laughed abit at the kids reaction. "Well Jesse, I think you look good in that." Stephen said. "So, shall we head off to the feast? I'm starving." He said and looked at the group. Maybe, just maybe, John was right. Maybe Stephen could have fun with this crew.

"that's not wha-" he goes to say then when she makes the comment about the hot tube he gets a few images appearing in his eyes then his eyes would seem to roll back and he would nearly pass out, he'd quickly get up and run away from Jesse to get some breathing room and so he wouldn't be seeing such a revealing outfit.

Draco actually looked somewhat offended by the question of his being a cult leader. "I am not some two dollar cult leader who wants money or to drink the cool-aid. I am the Prophet of the Goddess and via her blessing I am able to take direct action to improve the world around me."

Grumbling a little as he turned away from the interviewer, Draco turned his attention towards the other female on their team that had talked to him. Offering J'zen his hand to shake, Draco introduced himself as "I'm sure you've already heard it, but my name is Draco. I haven't began to explore the tower yet but I find my room to be acceptable for the time being. It's a pleasure to meet you J'zen... I like your outfit." He offered, trying to make a good first impression with the girl as well while all the other guys were trying to peacock in front of their team leader. It was kind of sad really...

To the young heroes who were outside on the beach, they would hear monstrous roar beneath the waves and then a dark hump would surface and any poor swimmers in the water would probably be frightened out of their minds at the sight of such a large beast. It was in a manor almost identical to the sightings of the elusive Lochness monster. Being new to this team, none of james' comrades would know that it was him in the form of Champ, a lake monster that was said to be roaming lake Champlain in New York State. Swimming in this form was incredible and the speeds to which he could fly through the water were incredible. He dove down deep and then shot back up at insane speeds before leaping out of the water in a great jump.

James' teammates would have full look at his aquatic form and no doubt would wonder how such a beast could in Miami Florida. After playing around in the water for a bit and doing several maneuvers, James swam towards the shore of the man-made island and changed back into his human form. He walked up to his comrades and gave them a friendly wave.

"Yo what's up? I hope I didn't scare any of you, I was just swimming and I can get a little carried away as Champ" he said to them with a obnoxious smile.

"Anyway you all can call me Strange Beast, I shape-shift into cryptids" James spoke them and he was giving the rest of the team a look over as well. It was an interesting cast of heroes for this gang and he was certain that he would grow to like all of them as long as they weren't sticks in the mud and overly serious types.
