Question for @VariousNW , Since the characters are blessed by the Gods, would they base some of their powers around the God? Or would their theme echo the God that blessed them?

You are free to go that route if you like, but you do not have to. I would rather give everyone maximum freedom when it comes to abilities.

Here's an edit to this, since I forgot about this when I wrote my response this morning. Your powers should be based on/inspired by your emotional bond more than anything, such as a teacher/student relationship in which the teacher is a support mage who buffs up the student. You are free to take the gods into account, but they are more of a religious backdrop than anything. The emotional bond matters more for character power stuff.

Alright. Wendigos are a supernatural species. Lore dictates that they're cannibals, crafted to be mankind's only predator. Top of the food chain. Everything about them is designed to catch and kill humans. Sharp needle teeth, superior speed and strength, claws, stomachs that can digest anything, and they're always hungry. Immortal and the only way you can kill it is by dismembering the wendigo and burning the pieces. They're pretty ugly bastards as well.

But here's my take on them. Male wendigos are born without the capacity for magic, female ones are. Yes, they're designed to hunt and kill humans, but they also have the capability to ingest other certain foods. Yes, they have super human strength, but it's capped off at 800lbs. Superhuman speed has a limit too, nothing extravagant--if allowed, I will go into more detail in my CS. MC would have the needle teeth, tail, claws. In the past, they would be known for treating humans like livestock. But times have changed. There's a lot, given I've spent a long time developing my take on this species, but none of it is overpowered. There are limits.

I was just hoping to have a character that reflects two gods. ;P The Gresla and the god of justice/law and all that.

SavOrhchid, sorry, but I'm going to have to say no to this, and I can more deeply explain why later, if you want. Basically, it's a human, but better. It also doesn't necessarily fit with the lore, specifically Gelsa. Why would Gelsa have created something that was essentially parasitic to Humans?
