I will add the commentary that I intentionally assisted with @RokkuHoshi's most recent submission on the grounds of their request. With the intention of - @ArenaSnow, @IcePezz - helping to establish and solidify the entry as remotely possible within the context of what little lore of the world that I myself know. From the start I acknowledged that the submission might suffer difficulties due to previous canon with dragons in the story.

However, at the same time I need mention I am strictly against multiple player characters per each player. Furthermore of my opinion, and mind you it is nothing more, I am of the agreement an enchanted miner, or child of a demigod, is unwise. Even a "shade" concerns me, largely because of my Dungeons and Dragons expertise. I do acknowledge the effort to "move away" from that design, but I admit it is potentially one of the "safest" and most versatile sources available - it is an excellent starting point.

In short, while I hold no authority, this is the insight I can and do offer for sake of maintaining this roleplay; too much effort by many has been invested into it to risk any damage such as retcons or uncharacteristic elements.

Indeed... retcon avoidance and consistency with the roots is what I'm gunning for in anything added to this at this point now that there's a base to work with.

@IcePezz, relevant to Isabeau's position, did she enter the collapsed room with Sir Erran, Sir Hepburnberg and Sakaala? It seems as though she is by Diagorides, based upon the last portion.

@IcePezz Would Regina have seen her enter or did she manage to sneak by unseen?

@The Harbinger of Ferocity

I will edit my post to reflect a few things and make it clear. I should have time later this afternoon when I get out of work. But yes, she would have entered the room via shadow stepping. They may not have seen her enter, but they will definitely see her once she tells them "we need to get out of here"

That being said, @Belwicket Regina wouldn't have seen her enter the room, especially with everything going on. But she would definitely know she is there somewhere. And if she made it into the room, now cramped with debris, furniture and Ajax, Sakaala, both knights and Isabeau, she will see her there.

Edit, just to make sure I'm reading correctly :p because yes, I missed a few things, and didn't really have time this morning to go over it all >< but if I can get a show of figurative hands on who is in Genevieve's room?

To explain the geography of it, when first entering, you come upon a large bed on the left wall, with a lounge chair just at the foot. A vanity table on the right wall, cluttered with many trinkets and baubles, various potions, mostly for glamour purposes. At the far end of the room, against the back wall is a large wardrobe that nearly extends to the ceiling. Two dark cherry wood doors close inward under lock and key, a gold ornate knob at the center. There is are small tables on either side of the wardrobe, again dressed with many trinkets and trivial items. Tapestries drape the walls, covering specifically the secret entrance that Ajax would have burst through.

So when we look at things, Izzy could have shadow stepped past the debris and is standing closer to Genevieve and Ajax, the rest of the group on the other side of the debris. Remember, Genevieve would have cast her spells in her defense, to protect not only her body, but whatever is in the wardrobe behind her, putting as much in between the Magi who attacked her and herself. I would assume the Magi is still standing outside the door, or did I miss that too?

I assumed he went practically inside when the hole started forming and by now is almost next to her chest, well inside the room.

Okay so, everyone but Ajax, Genevieve, the Magus and possibly Isabeau are behind a wall of rubble out of sight and currently reach of the rest of the group who I believe are currently fleeing. That still leaves me waiting for reactions from you and ArenaSnow I believe, so I'm not up to post yet. Have been busy with other things so I'm kinda getting my bearings back on this.

Name: Brock Fangson

Species: Human

Age: 21

Description: Brock stands approximately 7 feet tall with long, blond and icy blue eyes. He wears his steel armor, which covers most of his body, and helm, a white cleric's robe over it. On both the pendant around his neck and his shield sit the symbol of his god, Bahamut. Hanging from his right hip is his mace, a steel, jagged piece that his father had given him when he was young. It hasn't seen much of real battle yet.

Personality: Brock is the type of man who would rather ask questions with a cooperative prisoner than intimidate answers from them. Though he doesn't like brutes much, he will respect them if they respect him. He cares a lot for everyone and will often give someone who needs help a few gold coins if he cannot help them another way.

Skills/Abilities: Brock is very skilled with his mace, his shield and knowing how to use his surroundings to his advantage. He is good at getting answers from those who wrong him through his interrogation and negotiation, not to mention how charismatic he can seem, despite the fact he's rather soft on them. He can usually recognized where a person's skills lay, though doesn't always get it right.

Magic: Brock has 3 spells he can cast.

Heal: He can cure most wounds from scratches to sword-slashes but cannot regrow limbs. This also cannot cure broken bones if they are not set right.
Harm: If he has recently cast Heal, he can touch another person and inflict the same wounds to them. If not, it merely give the target 5 deep scratches along the body part touched.
Shield: With only his own shield and a lot of concentration, Brock can create a barrier around the injured that nobody can attack or pass through unless he allows them.

He can only cast a maximum of 7 spells per day and each spell thrice a day or less.

Backstory: To the north, there lies a mountain range. In this range, there is a mountain much taller than the others. This mountain is home to 3 types of beings.

At the base of the mountain sits the entrance to a great dwarven mine. The dwarves there are friendly, for dwarves, and allied with the town north of them. These dwarves are expert smithies and their blades and armors sell for a lot of coin.

Halfway up the mountain on a cliff sits a small town built around a church. The town, though full of humans, mostly worship the Dragon-God, Bahamut, whose church sits in the center. Because of this, the town has been given the name "Draconus" by the locals.

Close to the peak of the mountain, and on the other side from the town, there is a large cave. In this cave, there rested a dragon. Many brave adventurers dared to conquer the beast, but none prevailed. Then the great wyrm disappeared, never seen again, or so the legend goes.

Brock's father, Trubble, was born in the human village, though traveled to the base of the mountain when he was 12 to begin learning how to smith from the dwarves. With their training, he returned to the village 12 years later to open his own smithing shop, though often had to trade with the dwarves to get more materials and tools.

While walking around the church one day, Trubble met a beautiful woman with strange eyes. Franae was her name. It didn't take long until the two were spending much of their time together, with him continuing his smithing job and buying, as well as crafting, her many gifts. It took almost a year before he was ready to propose to her. She said yes before he even asked.

A month after their wedding, she was with child. He cared for her a lot, often taking her for walks before and after he spent all day at his smithing store. With the birth of their first son, they were overjoyed.

Four years later, with Brock running around, Franae ended up pregnant again. When their second son, Iis, was born, Trubble was Even happier. Two sons and a beautiful wife? What more could he ask for?

Many years later, when he was 12, Brock began working for the church, bringing home a little extra money to help his family. Over time, he cared less and less about the money, giving it freely to his family, and more and more about spreading the word of Bahamut. When he reached 16, Brock began traveling to other towns and cities, spreading the word of Bahamut. He was often ignored, though that never stopped him.

In a town much like his own, though not built around a church, he met a beautiful young woman named Slytha. She began traveling with him, following him back to his home in Draconus. Slytha did not get along with Franae at first, though the men knew not why until Franae had called Slytha a two-bit whore. Furious at his mother, Brock and Slytha left for the church.

Brock listened intently on how Slytha spoke of her family, wishing she had met Brock sooner. She despised the evil acts her family did. She wanted them gone from her life, which she has been successful with so far. She needed a place to hide.

With his mother and his lover arguing when left alone, Rokk had the idea to leave Slytha in his room at the church. It was while he was there he saw a letter that had come for him a day prior. After reading through the letter multiple times, he began gathering his things, gave Slytha a kiss, and left.

-----

Info about Bahamut-

In the beginning, there were not very many deities, only 7. These 7 created the world and the first beings in it. Then, they proceeded to create other deities, both stronger and weaker than them. One of these deities was Bahamut, the Dragon God. However, Bahamut had 4 siblings, each with their own brood of dragons to lead. The youngest of these was Tiamat, the queen of the evil dragons. Through the Millennia, Bahamut and Tiamat have lead many wars between their dragons, usually with Tiamat making the first move.

Bahamut believes in "If you harm none, do as you want."

Tiamat believes "Take all for your own or die with nothing."

To avoid issues describing the scenes, I'm thinking we could use a special medium to represent the various environments in the roleplay immediately following this scene. Goes by the name "Minecraft", and I think it may prove simpler if I can put some scenes together with it. Won't be a beauty by any means, but it might at least help the logistics end. Anyone who happens to have the game or is interested with assisting this feel free to send over a message.

Interesting turn of events. I will likely contribute with our local seasoned beast-woman some time this night.

As for physical representations? Interesting approach.
