Hidden facilities

The facility is well hidden. A location secret to everyone but those whom work there. It appears to be a normal building until one goes inside and goes underground. Each level contains a different type of supernatural...and many of them. With the cells being upgraded since an...incident...there are no bars just extremely strong one sided glass (attack proof and sound proof) with heavy duty metal door. Scientists observe the subject without them seeing those whom observe. Inside the containment is a small bathroom with no privacy, a bed attached to the floor, a small table also attached to the floor and a small chair also attached. Each subject gets a grey jump suit until they are taken to one of the many experimentation rooms. Each guard and scientist has a pair of noise cancelling headphones around their neck in case a siren or other sound related supernatural tries to fight.

As the dark fairy walks the halls many a scientist give him a wide berth. A small smirk appeared as he noticed this, his large wings showing just how bold he was. Suddenly, a man's voice reached him as a hand grabbed one of his wings. "let go of the wing or let go of your life" that was a sign for the rest of the scientists to clear out. The man snorts.
"Yea right, you are trying to Es-" the man is cut off as his throat is invaded by onyx claws. Slowly Peter raised his other hand with an ID card. "only warning you will ever receive." the man is dropped and Peter continues on to an experimentation room.

Inside is a siren. Her arms are calmped down to the table by metal cuffs, her tail is also clamped down. The most impressive part is the metal bar in her mouth that is held in place by a leather strap. Muffled screams escaped her as the dark fairy got to work. 30 minutes later he walked out with a jar of scales which is handed to a scientist.

His next stop is next door. After his job is done there a werewolf pelt is handed off and the body of the werewolf is dragged to a very special room. A room containing a wendigo. The body is thrown in and Peter continued on. A wendigo is much more efficient then burning bodies...no traces and any evidence is consumed.

Hidden facilities-Main office

In a rather normal looking office Eric McConnel watches a screen holding footage from security cameras. He would have to speak to that newcomer. He did have to admit that he was very pleased with how efficient his operation has become.

He lightly looked at his watch before clearing his throat and pressing a button on an intercome. "Attention fellow scientists today is a round up day. Please remember to take all necessary weapons and take subjects in alive...well..at least mostly alive. Keep an eye out for vampires or pixies especially. Thank you and keep up the great work." he sat back and grinned. Whichever team took Peter today would most likely have the best results, but he loved being surprised.

The city-a small coffee shop

Paon walked with confidence. A fake confidence that hid the fact that he was always looking over his shoulder. He hated this feeling of being prey. The hatred flare in his eyes hidden by dark sunglasses. He could not believe humans were so stupid...how could they believe these 'inventions' we're not magical in nature.

He stopped and looked across the street at a woman with a brilliant white fur coat. He tilted his head to carefully listen to the conversation between her and the woman admiring it.
"Oh this? It's some new fur that never looses its luster. It is so soft and supple, here feel"
The other woman stroked the fur. "It is so life like!"

Paon stopped listening when the wind shifted in his direction. His eyes widened in horror. A werewolf...skinned alive he could still smell the fear and pain on it. He felt sick. He quickly walked into a coffee shop and ordered a hot chocolate and sat in the back. Once seated he held his head. How could they....why...

For about a minute now the guy on stage had tried to quiet the masses. He had tried to tell everyone, they were safe. There were a lot of people. Scared people. People, who feared what the world would do to them, if it found out. It was like a parade of fear itself.
This shelter; an abandoned theater had started to feature so much noise, it almost wasn’t secret anymore.
The roaring voices were suddenly silenced by what sounded like a lightning strike and a flash of light. Both originated from a young woman’s palm, as she stepped onto the stage. “You are behaving more like children than supernaturals. Keep this up and the government will have you and your families in no time.”
There was a certain strength in her voice, which lead several to squint their eyes and try to get a look at the face under the hoodie.

“Who are you?” the man, who she had joined on stage, asked.

“The one who isn’t afraid.” Jane took a moment to look at every frightened face in there. “You are all gifted beyond words, beyond definition. The rest of the population aren’t even worthy, breathing in the same air as you. You are SUPERNATURALS. When you drink you can make rivers dry out. When you eat you can make species go extinct. When you tread you can make mountains crumble.”
Despite her small stature Jane walked like a giant, and if she hadn’t gotten everyone’s attention before, she certainly did now.
And she wasn’t finish: “Nations should celebrate when we are happy. Armies should tremble when we are angry. Leaders should obey our orders. Priests should praise our names. Look around, brothers and sisters, if you all rise up you can be night and you can be day, alpha and omega. So ask yourselves this: Why should you have to hide? You are beautiful, and you can be everything humans pray to. So don’t you ever bow, and don’t you ever take their shit.”

Jane took a determined breath, and just as she started to head towards the exit, the guy on the stage called out. “Eh, miss? You are not suggesting all supernaturals go to war, do you?”

With a dark look, she replied: “If we did, we would win.”
Jane left with that statement cemented in everyone’s mind. It hadn’t been the first time she had encouraged supernaturals to fight back, and she was convinced it wouldn’t be the last either.
Edge usually didn’t like this; they thought it brought unwanted attention to Jane, but she didn’t care. The world was changing because people like her had entered it, of that she was sure.

Teddy smiled as she handed the woman her espresso to go.

"Hey Teddy!"

The girl turned around at the sound of someone calling her name, wisps of blonde hair framed her face as she turned her head to rest her blue-grey eyes on the boy that had called out to her.

"Some of us are going out tonight. Wanna join?"

Teddy gave the young man her sweetest smile and shook her head. "The nurse leaves at six and I have to be home at six-thirty. Sorry guys." She shrugged her shoulders and returned to her work.

She felt a hand slap her shoulder followed by an arm wrapping around the back of her neck. "Awww come on Teddy, can't you just ask the nurse to stay with the old bat-"

Her blue-grey eyes turned to stone, her smile faded, and her voice grew darker as she said, "She may be old, but she is still my mother. I said no." The boy backed off muttering something about being a stuck up bitch, but Teddy didn't care. She just wanted to get through her shift and go home to her cat Misty.

She was just about to remove her apron when a boy walked in. He walked to the counter, ordered a hot chocolate, then sat in the back. The girl Teddy was working with begged her to stay just a minute longer to give the strange guy his drink then she could leave. Teddy sighed and agreed. The girl never caused trouble for Teddy and it was on her way out anyway.

When the drink was done, Teddy walked over to the table. "You ordered a hot chocolate right?" She placed the drink down and started to walk away. Then she noticed that there was something off about the guy so she took a step back.

"Sorry. Are you blind?" She reached for his hand to guide him to the mug full of hot liquid. "I'm reaching for you hand now. I don't want you to spill the drink, it's pretty hot." She spoke softly so as not to startle him.

Paon was absorbed in not being sick when a voice pierced his thoughts. Luckily, he didn't leap out of his skin from being startled and was able to play it cool. He nodded and expected her to leave like many other a wait staff.

Instead she stopped. She softly spoke to him and reached for his hand. He felt himself start to chuckle, but managed to only nod. " I am blind...thank you for guiding me" He looked up at her, but slightly to the left. He has pretended to be completly blind for so long that not quite looking at people has become second nature. He allowed her to gently guide his hand to his drink. He wondered what she thought of him...if she thought he was less due to the lack of sight.

Below an estate in the countryside about five miles away from anywhere else is a laboratory, in it's canteen the workers around lunchtime gather to eat some very peculiar food on most of the plates... The offal parts of supernatural beings. Above is a catwalk that has a staircase connecting the catwalk to the canteen floor. On the catwalk is the head researcher of the estate.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! We have three product testers in today! George, Lisa and Bernard are our new volunteers to be the test subjects of our main prototype which I can announce is a full bodysuit designed to change the shape and form of the wearer almost identically to a shapeshifter." The lean Hal announces while resting his arms on the catwalk. "If you want to take the odd minute out of your schedules to watch the prototype testing then it will be happening after this lunch break, so afterwards if you wouldn't mind a peek head to the demonstration arena." Hal announces before going down a set of stairs, sitting beside Mal and eating a curry of some strong sort.

"Mal, I will be personally presenting the prototype to Mr. McConnel. I need you in charge." Hal almost whispers to the malformed shapeshifter. "Son, didn't he tell you? Mal here's been asked to aid a team of shapeshifter hunters, reckon there's a good haul to be had near some old theatre." Graham points out before he begins stuffing his face with a roast dinner. "True, didn't have opportunity to tell." The spectre utters in a deep but faint voice before vanishing, the large platter of different corpses vanishing a second after... A short while after the majority of the staff head to the demonstration arena.

Willa O'Shea

In Ireland she had been known by her neighbors as the computer genius. They didn't know how she did it but she could fix nearly anything, even cars. She hadn't told anyone what she could do. She pretended to be a weak woman and played at being completely normal. Willa even took classes in computers so she could actively work on computers and have degree for it. That way no one would be suspicious of her working on computers. Willa had tried to keep as low a profile as she could.

Today was no different than any other day. Her boss gave her cash on top of her tips. He thought she requested cash because she was an illegal immigrant. In reality it allowed her to have as little a paper trail as she could get. She rented her small one bedroom apartment under her mother's name. It was safer for her and since she was supposedly still a college student no one had any problems with it being under her mother's name. Of course her mother had been gone a long time now.

Willa never had any kind of credit cards, never gave out her real name or address. She worked at the library part time and she waitressed. She made most of her cash working on computers. On the rare occasion when someone would take interest in her personally she would brush it off.

In retrospect her life could be very lonely if it weren't for the few people she let into her life. "Willa?" She looked up realizing that the water had overflowed and was dripping all over the floor. "Ah Crap!" She grabbed the towel nearest her and started to clean it up. "I'm sorry Charlie. I'm a little spacey today. I've n'idea why. I'll get it cleaned up afor ya know it." She had been working on softening her irish brogue but sometimes it was still pretty thick, like now.

In the spectator area of the arena the father and son duo sit side by side with front row seats to a single person wearing a dark grey jumpsuit and helmet. "Hal, we might have invented the best infiltration tool anyone could hope to have." Graham proudly proclaims. "Please begin Elise, everyone's eager to see their hard labour bear fruit." Hal announces by microphone.

The person in the jumpsuit uses a peculiar hand gesture, the person then begins morphing, changing from just an average human woman into something obscured by a colossal amount of water vapour and the dust kicked up after an explosion.

"Keep calm everyone! Security and medical staff get in there!" Hal orders, after a few seconds two guards holding batons escort a medical staff member inside, ventilation fans begin clearing the air inside the sealed glass arena.

Meanwhile Mal is lounging in one of two vans heading towards an abandoned theatre. The ten occupants split between the two vans only expected the theatre to have say 15 loosely affiliated supernatural beings, when in actuality they were heading towards a place being used by Edge.

Alnnar sat in the crowd, His legs crossed as he floated in the air meditating. Keeping silent and to himself as he listened to the roar of the crowd. He could feel the emotions of the people around him. Fear, anger, sadness, desperation and much more. He could feel it all washing through him as he listened. Soon though some one hopped up on the stage, and started the call to war. Soon Alnnar's eyes opened as he looked up on the stage. Why must the young always preach for war? he asked himself before soon drifting back down. He started to walk forward, he had watched and observed for to long. He had hid himself away from the world for what? No, this was not a moment to remain silent, to yet the foolishness of youth run rampant. He was soon standing up on the stage he looked to the girl.

"You are wrong child." he said. His voice was deep, horse, and yet soft. But at the same time it carried and echoed through the room with weight. "In war, there in no winner." He said before looking over the crowed, "Only fools rush into war, and only children wish for it." he added on before looking back to the girl. "How many wars have you fought? how many have you seen?" he asked her but before she could even answer he spoke again "I have fought in thousands, and witnessed many more. There is no winner, all that is left is ash." he said before looking back to the crowd "Can we judge all of humanity for the sins of a few. "he said shacking his head "No, but if you truly believe we are better, then be better. Show them that there are other ways, that we can live in harmony. He paused for a moment looking back to her "We are not gods, we are not meant to rule over humanity, just as they are not meant to rule over us. his voice got softer as he looked over to the girl "but if you truly believe the words you speak. What makes you any different from t he evil we face? Something must be done. On this I agree. But be wise, and look for another way."

Teddy smiled, "You're welcome, I hope you have a good night. Be careful on your way home. There have been whisperings about a gathering of some sort in an abandoned theatre not too far from here. Probably just some protesters who are against the demolishing of the old building, but you can never be too safe."

She turned to leave again when she glanced over her shoulder and realized the girl that was supposed to close the shop had left. Teddy sighed and put her small woven purse down and went behind the counter. "Well, looks like I will be closing the shop tonight, so take your time with your drink. When you're done I can walk you home. I don't live too far from here." She spoke to him as she placed used coffee mugs and dirty pots in the sink behind her. She spoke over the clatter. "Have you been in the area long?"

She pulled on some rubber gloves and sunk her hands up to her elbows into the dish water. As she waited for his answer she looked down and pretended she was listening while cleaning the dishes. Instead she found a near by mouse and made a connection with it.

As soon as she made the connection she learned she was in the head of a female mouse and she was hungry. She ignored the hunger pains and focused on smelling the air. All she could smell was the stench of old coffee, some pastries (which reminded her of her hunger), and a slight burnt smell. She decided it must have been from when one of the new waitresses had burned a pastry earlier that day.

Next she listened. She heard the couple that lived above the shop arguing, the rumble of traffic, and... shouts. She could hear shouting coming from the North of the coffee shop. From the direction of the meeting in that old theatre. It was faint, but it was there. Then suddenly the shouting stopped and the mummer of one voice was heard. That's when Teddy pulled her connection with the mouse.

It has to be Edge. This isn't good. Too many of them in one place is bound to attract unwanted attention. She shook her head and glanced over her shoulder, trying to focus on what the man was saying.

Paon drank his chocolate even though it was still technically too hot. The warmth felt good...it was soothing and helped him get over what he experienced. As he drank he listened to the woman. She seemed nice, but with how people are now a days one had to be more careful.

Once finished he put the cup down and inhaled her scent. This particular person is not human. He tilted his head before taking off his glasses and answering. "I have been here for quite some time yes. I only live a few blocks away, thank you." his opal eyes looked slightly to the left of her as he gave a small smile. "I must say you are the nicest waitress I have ever met...and for that I am very grateful" He wondered what she would make of his eyes.

@Orlan
Peter found himself done with experiments for right now and open for a round up. With a small smile he decided to go to the shape shifter section after all they always had the interesting round ups. He made his way there quickly..in time to watch the demonstration.

He made his way to Hal and stood with a head tilt. "I have to ask...was that supposed to happen like that?" with each movement the fairy mad his skin have of a shimmer effect..a beautiful monster Mr.Right is. A beautiful monster indeed.

William and Jessica were not having a very good day. William reflected on how poorly this excursion had gone for them. It had seemed so simple. Infiltrate the scientist's midway facility, a sort of Purgatory for captured supernaturals, where they were held until the scientists brought them to the real hell holes. It had not gone according to plan. They'd gotten in all right, through use of an invisibility spell and some clever use of explosive runes. However, the spell had worn off right in the middle of the facility. That had not been fun.

"You remember that time in Jersey?" William shouted to his sister over the sounds of fist meeting face. They were currently surrounded by guards, and both of them were locked in combat with an opponent, moving to fast for anyone to get a good shot in. Jessica spared a second to look back at her brother, offering a nod. They both rolled backwards, meeting up back to back, and William took a deep breath. Then, without warning, he splayed his hand towards the floor, forcing all the air out, away from the siblings, and knocking the guards off their feet, throwing them into walls.

Jessica laughed before running off towards the containment ward, followed by her brother. In the ward, they found a werewolf, a witch, two fairies, and vampire. They were worse for wear, bruised all over, but they were ready to escape. With the increase in numbers, their escape was easy, and as they stood outside, William spoke to them. "We got you out. Now go, find somewhere to hide. Or fight if you want to, but don't let anyone think that this all isn't happening. Warn others," he said. The supernaturals nodded, before rushing off. Jessica smiled at her brother, before snapping her fingers. A flame sprung up in her hand and she flexed her fingers, growing the flame, before hurling it at the facility. Together, the twins spread the fire, until the containment center was beyond saving. William looked grim as they walked off. But it had all needed to be done.

"Mr Right, what perfect timing. We might have a situation, the only way that fog could have been produced is by every bit of water in Elise escaping rapidly... What the hell has happened to Elise?" Hal questions as the fog just completely disappears, where Elise stood before the fog is now filled with hundreds of dark grey supernatural beings and animals appearing and disappearing within seconds, it is like multiple shapeshifters changing forms rapidly in the same space.

"Ladies and gentlemen, evacuate this section... Security staff not in the arena please head here now." Hal announces on the microphone, after that happens Graham heads to his office. "Mister Right, do you want a gun or will you be fine with claws?" Hal asks as he presses a button on his armchair and a pistol rises up on a small table beside Hal. "I honestly expected that to be a different gun." Hal remarks.

The strange thing occurring where Elise was screeches in utter torture, but the screams of torment were of many different supernatural beings all drowning each other out, the guards and doctor exit the arena itself and put their ear defenders on... Hal does likewise with ear defenders he has on a normal table on the opposite side of the chair riddled with buttons of many different colours.

Two new vans accompany Mal's group towards the theatre. "When there seal off all but one of the exits, need to test something new." Mal states quickly to the rather large team by the inbuilt radios.

Jane had stopped, as the words of a stranger sounded through the theater. Someone had walked on stage and challenged her believes.
At first she did nothing, just stood there and watched.
Edge would want her to simply turn around and leave without a word. Though no one knew the identity of Jane Doe, she was still a wanted woman and a central part of the organization. Challenging this mysterious man on stage would put her even more in the spotlight, yet Jane did so anyway.
She walked up to him, a slow, calculated walk, until there was little more than a foot between them. As she raised her arm, she accidentally stroke the grenade in her small backpack. She worried for a second that it would go off, but it didn’t, so she faced the stranger.
He was taller than her and with an impressive physic. Though he was hardly the first to question her, he was somehow different from all who had come before. There was like an aura of experience and knowledge around him, almost as if he was time itself.

Yet Jane didn’t even blink when staring back at him. “Fancy words. Now, I don’t know who or what you are,“ she said to him and him alone. “But you might want to remove your eyes from the history books and take a closer look at what is happening in the dark, because I have seen firsthand some sick shit you wouldn’t believe. Every hour is already a battle and every day is a war. You just don't realize it yet."
Now standing up strait Jane looked around and spoke with a louder voice so everyone could hear. “There won’t be any harmony. Society is never gonna take our hand if we offer it. People fear what they don’t understand, and they hate what they fear. It has always been like that. We only get whatever happiness we conquer from them, and no amount of arrogance will change that.” Jane made a nod to the stranger and went back to a quiet voice. One final statement: “By the way, you were wrong about me, stranger. I’m no child. Society made sure of that.”

The four vans arrive at the theatre, the occupants of two vans head around the back of the theatre, using barricades to block off every doorway to the outside they see while the rest enter the theatre through the front door, Mal merging with the shadows as soon as he enters. The rest of the occupants begin setting up a holding area using the old ticket booths, Mal stops traversing the shadows to witness the argument on stage. The door barricading soldiers return to the main group in the front area of the theatre.

Mal's voice appears from the shadows of the main stage. "Give yourselves up, there is nowhere out of this old theatre to freedom." The voice is faint, raspy and every s Mal pronounces lingers, the shadows grow by a rough centimetre. "Do not try to escape, you will only meet a worse fate."

Jason "Echo" Reed

This theatre was abandoned; desolate. Ruined. In theory, there should have been no-one around, let alone no-one inside. If that was truly the case, what was all this talking, shouting. Of course, in this day, age and society, that was no real question. It was Supernaturals. They congregated here frequently, if he was right. Were Edge trying to hide people..?

The uproar was quite impressive. You would think that the organisation was attempting to sell all the Supernaturals to the government. Though, there people probably had that under control.

Or perhaps they didn't... Those vans on the way didn't look particularly friendly. In fact, they contained someone Jason had seen before. Mal... They used to be a shapeshifter, if he was right. Or maybe they still one. Either way, he wasn't the same. What exactly had made him convert permanently to the side of humans? What did they offer her, besides protection? It didn't matter...

They were coming in full force by the looks of things. Of, as full force as they could apparently. Did they really think ten people could take down a theatre of Supernaturals? They could have had all the weapons they wanted, and still have been outnumber by half the amount of them. They weren't talking. There was almost nothing coming from the vans.

Nobody saw Jason enter the theatre. Nobody saw him step onto the stage. If they did, they didn't do anything. They all had their eyes fixated, and still they were so blind. Perhaps that was why they followed warmonger's and peace brokers. They followed whoever seemed the most right like sheep... And it would get them all killed.

There was always a middle way, right?

The two on the stage were in a discussion. Or was it an argument? Either way, it wasn't yet heated. That was a good thing. He stepped around them and stood facing the audience, to the side of the two supers. One was easily recognisable. He shouldn't have known her. Yet the way she looked, the way she spoke, it was obvious. Especially to a turn coat like himself.

Jason stood, his plain white shirt simply hanging limp on his torso; his arms covered by a navy blue jacket. In one ear, a single headphone, with the other hanging limply in front of the shirt. Perhaps it was time to jump in?

"I hate to break up your little pow-wow, but we've got a little situation" they didn't see him approach. His appearance was unnatural ghost like. It was almost as if he had just merged through the floor next to them, and started talking. Maybe they should have paid more attention.

"We currently have Scientist forces converging on the theatre as we speak. There are approximately ten, with in theory one Supernatural." It was too late...

Or was it? Her voice resonated out across the theatre, and into the crowd. That rasp... It was unmistakable. The way he lingered on every S? Undeniable.
"If it isn't Mal! How are you doing? Been a little while, right?" oh yeah, that was right... They never actually met. "You probably don't know me... Know the title? 0X47B.

That single code name was a proclamation in of itself. If anyone knew how Supernaturals were filed in some places, they would've identified it immediately. Jason... This was a man who had been in the hands of Scientists and escaped alive. Were there many out there? Probably. But at least they would know.

He took a step away from Jane and the taller man. Mal wasn't out in the open yet. Still, he stepped towards the shadow. The moment he had spoken, he had figured out his exact location. It wasn't hard. That single, shaking line... It rose and dropped in varying ways as he moved inside that shadow; is it twisted in light, and as he took a breath.

"Its too bad we have to meet like this, Mal. The same goes for you, Jane. But I suppose that's just how it works..." his footfalls were silent. His breathing was silent. The only noise he made was speech, so there was a chance Mal didn't even know where he was.

But surely he wasn't that naive. In his hand already was a combat dagger. If Mal had any sense, he would have come with ear protection. But maybe he was simply stupid. He had converted to the side of humans in his entirety, after all.

Just as Jane prepared for a verbal comeback from the stranger chaos erupted. A guy started a strange rant, and soon the floor began to speak. It was like a bad dream, or more precise: A bad comedy show. And Jane wouldn’t stand for it.
With only a single second’s hesitation she understood what was threatening her. “Traitor!” Jane spit and reach out at the floor. The same blinding flash she had used earlier exploded from her palm, while her other hand reached into her pack. Just like she had practiced so many times the fingers found what they were looking for, and the next moment she stood with an armed grenade in her hand.

People had started to recover from the flash. “No, don’t!” a random bystander yelled out and was then immediately interrupted by an even louder explosion, as the thing went off.

There was light. yellow light lit up the entire room. And fire; a flaming ball in Jane’s hand that erupted in slow-motion, stopped and then started to shrink. Soon Jane had absorbed the entire frag explosion and the immense energy turned her eyes orange for a brief moment.
Going to the theater had been a mistake. The shelter had been clumsy, too many had heard about it on the street. It was probably how these muscle-for-the-scientists had heard about it.
“You are not prepared for me!” Jane yelled out with just as much energy as was currently flowing through her. She looked around, hoping to face whoever was gonna be her enemy. “Do you hear me, asshole? You are not prepared!”

The shadow Mal hides in retreats quickly to the flashing light, a part of the shadow moves to another shadow elsewhere. The voice booms out. "How do you know I am not prepared? Every shadow is my ally, your enemy. If every supernatural being does not surrender themselves to the scientists... well let us say the shadows haven't eaten for a very long time." Ten screams and screeches of agony are let out across the theatre. "Do more normal, innocent people have to feed me before you give up? Because they were tasty..." A shadowy hand reaches out towards someone with their back to the hand somewhere near the back row.

A faint whisper breaks out near Jason, almost too quiet for anyone to hear. "Leave through the front door, you're for another time."

Teddy had tuned back in by the time the boy told her she was the nicest waitress he had met. She only smiled and tried to concentrate on finishing her dishes. She glanced over that the boy and noticed he had removed his glasses and that his hot chocolate was almost gone.

She walked over to his table. "Do you mind if I take-" She stopped and sniffed. She realized she could still smell something burning, but she had already pulled her connection from the she-mouse and all of the ovens were off. She looked left and right, sniffed herself. Then, she slowly leaned forward. The slight burning smell was coming from the boy.

Then she noticed something else. His eyes weren't dead and unseeing like most blind humans. They were alive with light. Teddy could feel her stomach flipping and her heart pounding. Her palms grew sweaty. She took the mug without waiting for his answer and almost dropped it. He's not human...

She forced a smile and walked back to the sink. "Right. Well. This is the last thing that needs to be washed..." She leaned her head down again and focused on the mouse she knew was underneath her feet. Just as she was about to command the mouse to come investigate the strange boy, and explosion, loud voices, and the smell of fear overwhelmed her and her connection was broken without warning. Teddy gasped and dropped the mug, shattering it into dozens of pieces.

Her grey-blue eyes glanced at the boy and she manged to choke out a fake giggle. "Slippery gloves..." That's when she noticed she wasn't wearing the gloves. She blushed and bent down to clean up the mess. She had to figure out a way to ditch him. Something bad had happened at the old theatre and she had a bad feeling the scientists where a part of it.

Once closer Jane would be able to feel the heat being emitted from Alnna's body as he shook his head to the young girl "How can you expect them to take what was never offered, to understand what they have never seen. No child, humanity is capable of more then you know." he told her, though they were soon joined by another, who seemed to quite his foot steps. It is not often that someone can sneak up and Alnnar, But it wasn't long before they were also joined by what appeared to be the human faction in all of this. Soon the girl pulled out a strange metal little ball. Standing right next to him the thing exploded, the small fire ball stopped then absorbed into her as se shook his head. To him the device seemed harmless, but to set it off so close? she could of harmed someone if she wasn't careful.

"Calm yourself child." he told her as he turned his attention to the man at the door. "Stop this at once! I wish you no harm, but if you continue like this you will not leave me a choice." his voice boomed, echoing through the theater. The heat from his body started to grow, though only a few degrees at the moment, likely only someone who can sense energy would be able to notice the change. But he paid attention, hearing the man's words. He was a child as all the rest. Already he exposed himself and his abilities, and thus his weakness. A few screams and people where gone, shadows inching towards another "Enough!" he shouted. For the first time his rose his voice, like clashing thunder it echoed. The time for words has ended, his hand was forced. Soon he preformed an incantation as he chanted in an archaic ancient form of Arabic, his face tilting up at the end as a bright light burst forth. Blinding as it looked like a small sun had formed in the center of the room. The light pushing out and forcing shadows at bay as it was too bright for shadows to form.

As everyone was blinded he took that moment to act, his body burst into smoke as he moved to one exit, the doors bursting open as it was easy enough for him to incapacitate the guards. He was able to clear a few of the exits before the light started to dim, that spell running it course. He was now between the humans and the supernaturals. The doors open as he spoke "Child! Make sure they get out safely. I cleared the exits." He wasn't sure if she would listen to him, but he felt she would. Though they have two very different views, it all stemmed from the same desire to protect their people.

The guards were gone, there were none to incapacitate, Mal collapsed down, a visible shadow in the form of a person, when it shifted it did so with an unnatural pace, parts of the form shifted in every direction. The shadowy form gets up and stands on the stage.

"It seems you all have a guardian... too weak to fight for yourselves I see. I wish to offer you supernatural beings a job, where you will not have to live in such poverty, in such destitution. You will be given a home, food of your desires, in exchange you would work in whatever you are best at... If you decide to fight, you decide to become potions, little trinkets for humanity, and have what's left of you given to me as food. Mal speaks, the shadowy figure stable as it looks over the majority of people in the theatre. "Soldiers await outside, either for new friends, or old foes. Why must innocent blood be spilt because of something so petty as fighting the next step of humanity? You have limited resources at best, the scientists can offer so much more to it's allies, not it's cuckoos. Every human in here will be escorted to a safe location, away from me, away from them, to a normal life.

The said soldiers wait outside by the vans, weapons drawn, Mal paces up and down the stage, before disappearing into the shadows, crawling along outside to the said soldiers. "Prepare for a storm of people, you used the old equipment well." Mal compliments. "Well we try our best Mal." The leader of the soldiers replies.
