Keats really doesn’t mind James too much. While the guy’s failure to take things seriously can annoy him, he at least respects his abilities and actions during the fire. They stay out of each other's way as much as possible, and he’s okay with that.

"Don't really know the dude. Heard that he was getting people out during the fire, though, so I can respect that I guess. Must at least be a half-decent guy."

Keats hasn't really interacted with Benny enough to have an opinion, but he noticed his actions during the fire and has a slightly positive impression.

"Apparently Luke's a bit of a dick to him, which I'm not one hundred percent cool with, but I've never really been around to stop him. A lot of people seem to think I'm in on it 'cause of that, but I'm not okay with picking on someone that vulnerable. We've met a few times outside of school, and he isn't a bad kid. Hopefully he'll start to fight his own battles sometime."

Keats doesn't mind Milo at all, despite what many people assume. If it comes to it, he'll probably tell Luke to lay off him a bit. He does think that Milo needs to stop relying on people to protect him so much if he wants to be a hero.

"Don't really know her much. Apparently her and Luke hate each other, which isn't really surprising. She's Mayweather, though, so I'm not exactly a fan. She doesn't seem quite as stuck-up as some of them, but I'll see."

Keats doesn't know much about her, but is slightly hostile on account of her being a Mayweather as well as her hatred of Luke.

"I know the guy from boxing, and we've sparred a few times. I wasn't sure about him at first, but after talking to him a few times, I think he's okay for a Mayweather. Of course, he can't beat me in the ring, but he's got decent potential and a good attitude. Don't tell him I said that."

Keats has a friendly rivalry with Terry from boxing practice, and they spar together on occasion. He respects Terry's efforts to improve and his competitiveness, and is secretly happy to see him getting better at the sport. Just as long as Keats can stay one step ahead, that is.

"Don't know much about her. Apparently her mom's a teacher? Great, hope she doesn't go holding that over people's heads. Still, that'd be what I'd expect from a Mayweather. Assholes."

He hasn't really interacted with her personally, but doesn't like the idea of the teacher's kid being at school. Especially if the kid's from Mayweather.

"Some people have things to say that the world needs to hear. Other people have things to say that no-one needs to hear, and are lucky to still have teeth in their heads. I'll let you guess which category this guy falls into. I'd hate him even if he was from Delphina, but a Mayweather with that kind of attitude? Get out of my face."

Keats doesn't like him. At all. His brutal honesty, self-righteous attitude and the way he speaks to people really gets under Keats’ skin, and it has taken a lot of self-control for him to avoid trying to hurt him.

"Look at me, everyone! I think I'm so smart and special and such a hero! Give me a break. He needs to figure out that he's not the only one with powers in this school, unlike whatever middle-of-nowhere dump he spent the rest of his life in. "

He doesn't like him much at all, and finds his attitude really irritating. While he doesn't annoy Keats as much as some other students, he's definitely not on the Christmas card list.

"Ice queen’s alright. The nickname suits her as far as I’m concerned, she seems kinda cold to me. I think a few of the guys like her? Don’t quote me on that."

Despite being in the same classes, he hasn’t really interacted with her too much. From what little they’ve spoken, his impression is positive. At the end of the day, she's from Delphina, so she can't be all bad.

"First impressions? Don’t like her. I mostly see her swanning around like she owns the place, messing with everyone. I don’t need some Mayweather girl trying to waltz into my spotlight, thanks."

Her behaviour really gets on his nerves, mostly because of his own arrogance clashing with the more attention-seeking parts of her personality.

”She seems pretty nice overall, but there’s something off about her. I can’t put my finger on what it is, but something makes me glad she’s one of us. Just a feeling in my gut, I guess. Might not mean anything.”

Keats thinks that she’s pretty cool, although they haven’t talked very much. Based on his impressions of her, he prefers her to many of the people at school even if something about her makes him uneasy. That isn’t really saying a lot though.

”Full disclosure, he creeps me out. Sorry if I sound like an asshole, but he does. He never really did anything to me, but his face never changes, and besides that he has fire powers. Fire isn’t something I’m a fan of, alright? You know, for obvious reasons. Anyway. Guy’s creepy. Guess I wouldn’t call him an enemy though.”

Keats tries to avoid Elijah as much as humanly possible. There are a few reasons for this, reasons one through five being that he really, really can’t stand looking at fire after his sister’s death. Other than that, he just thinks that the guy’s a bit strange, and is weirded out by his presence.

"Eh, he’s too quiet. I wouldn’t bother talking to him if he was one of us, so why the hell would I want to interact if he’s one of them? Best case scenario, he stays out of my way."

Keats doesn’t know much about him, so his attitude is just the typical one that he holds towards Mayweather students, with a little bit of extra dismissiveness thanks to Jackson’s quiet nature.

"Right, Mitch. Yeah, he seems like a pretty cool dude, although the whole telepathy thing freaks me out a little. Still, he’s not a bad guy. Glad that he’s at Delphina and not Mayweather. Just as long as he doesn't spend much time in my head."

Personality wise, Keats thinks he’s a pretty good guy. The only problem is that Keats is not entirely comfortable with the idea of someone getting in his head and seeing through his confidence, so he gets a little unnerved by his presence. If he can get past that he’d be willing to be friends with the guy.

"Yeah, Lucas and I are buddies. We train together, hang out a lot of the time. He was friends with Jane too, before... Sorry, that's a bad subject. Sure, maybe he can be a bit of a dick, but if a bunch of wannabe heroes can’t handle someone being a little mean to them they’ve got no business being here. Luke’s the only guy here that’s actually willing to do something about these Mayweather assholes, and I really respect him for that. Unlike the rest of them, he isn't just gonna sit around and pretend we can all get along. I've got his back."

Keats looks up to Lucas, and is happy to call him a friend. He views Lucas as the only person in the school that knows what he’s doing, and they share the same attitude towards the fire. They also train together, and Keats is starting to give Lucas some boxing lessons.

"Yeah, staying away from this girl. While I’m confident that I can take on a lot of people, she is not someone I could beat in a fight, and I get the feeling she’d like beating the crap out of me. If I thought I could do the same to her, the feeling would be mutual."

He doesn’t like her, but he isn’t about to pick a fight with her. After all, his powers can only deal physical damage, so he knows he wouldn’t stand a chance as much it pains his ego to admit it. Right now, his plan is to keep a safe distance and not get his bones broken.
