Kami started as her phone started running, interrupting a fit of evil giggling. Unfortunately, she lacked the sheer throat capacity for true evil laughter, and as such, had been forced to settle with evil giggling, which wasn't nearly as impressive or fear-inspiring. Luckily, nobody but Appolyon was near enough to see it, and as such, she hadn't much to be ashamed of. Looking at the text by Ashley, Kami started once more. In her glee, she had completely forgotten about the baby. Gathering up her long dress, Kami immediately stood from her throne, smiling slightly. "Later, dearie. I have an appointment at the hospital. Don't break anything while I'm gone." Wiper then appeared out of nowhere, and in the blink of an eye, both are gone.
The hospital was emptied, the ill and dying being thrown in the trash, as Kami stepped into the office. All staff was at disposal in the room Kami knew Ashley had taken, and twenty soldiers formed a wall behind her. As she went in, she was followed by a retinue of four Death Priests and Wiper. While this city was undoubtedly hers, there were just as undoubtably a small group who would resist the change - there always were. They would have travelled to Fear the moment they had heard of Kami's world domination, and they would try to stop the problem at it's source. Which, for obvious reasons, Kami couldn't allow to happen.
As Kami walked into Ashley's room, she smiled, and directed the doctors with half-minded interest. She felt a latent motherly instinct bubbling up, and Kami knew without a doubt that she would smother this child in all the riches in the world. No doubt it would be spoiled to death, but somehow Kami's practicality had taken second place in her considerations, which worried Kami to no small extent. "Hello, Ahley. I believe that 'push' would be redundant?"
