Not exactly sure where I want to go with this, but I imagine her starting out as a girl living in the poor, overall lower quality part of the city, never really knowing what it was to be a child. Her mother raised her, so she never had that father figure to keep her in check when it came to the streets. Her mother worked, so at an extremely young age, Diane was introduced to the streets. She quickly learned how dangerous and rewarding the work could be, and has been working around that ever since. One of the main gang leaders even taught her as his "prodigy," as the man knew some of his own men were going to backstab him and he didn't want to bring his own family into the life. He treated her like a daughter almost and taught her everything he knew. So, at fourteen she had more power than any of the other people in the gang, besides the leader. They got a delivery from out of the country of some new drug they thought was a simple narcotic. It was anything but. The drug was supposed to be a treat for the two, but as they took the couple pills, something happened. The man doubled over and croaked nearly instantly, whereas Diane suffered from a seizure. When she was up, she had no idea what happened, besides they took the pills. It was hours after he died, and there was nothing she could do. She notified one of the high-ranking guys of what happened. It was obvious that the leader trusted her more than any of the other guys, and Diane knew she was going to be murdered. That was how it worked. The man and several others came at her, figuring they wouldn't need guns for a little girl like her, plus they could have their way with her before ending it. So, Diane did what she was taught and shot. Then another man came in, and Diane, in her head, pleaded and pleaded for him to not kill her and to just let her be. Surprisingly enough, he did just this. She tried this out on a few more and it worked the same, mostly without that much effort. After discovering this new power, Diane took over the gang, now renamed The Coles, after their former leader's last name. Ever since then she kept it a secret. To hide her newfound wealth from the public and her beloved mother, she invented a few neat gadgets anyone could go their whole lives without. They were big hits. Diane, of course, took care of her mother by buying her a house and depositing a good load of money into the woman's bank account each month. She is still close with her mother, even now, but doesn't tell her of her secret life.

Julia winters grew up in a simple home environment a loving father, and mother. It was on her tenth birthday that people kidnapped Julia, and forced her to train as a weapon. She was taken because of the powers she already had. During this time they replaced her entire body with a specialized synthetic one. Thankfully before she could ever step onto the field the government discovered the people that had kidnapped her. So on her fifteenth birthday she, and several other kids who she'd never met before were freed. The people that kidnapped her was, Ouroboros, and they were quick to disappear into the shadows after their facility was hit.
Thanks to the governments aid Julia was able to return to a somewhat normal life. She was even reunited with her parents. She was put into private school with the ten other students that'd been through what she had. They were taught how to control their powers, and blend into society unseen. At graduation Julia, and the others were given a choice. They could either continue on with their lives try living a normal life without any further interference. Or, they could stay to work with the government. Julia, and a few others decided to stay because they wanted to ensure that whatever happened to them never happened to anyone else ever again.
Julia was deployed to Treaft city to help keep the peace there. As there were reports of several troubling events occurring, and their crime rate was rather high. Plus they wanted to ensure someone was there to help keep the heroes under some semblance of control. As to ease the minds, and souls of the general populace. So they dubbed Julia, Gadget from her special powers. They gave her the bare minimum resources needed to help keep the city safe, and a fair paycheck.

Zero's father was the third seat leader of Ouroboros, and was rather greedy. Being jealous of the first two seats who had powers, while he was just a human angered him. When his son first exhibited his powers his father seemed proud at first. But, as he got older his father became increasingly hostile. To even coming home one day just to beat the daylights out of him. In a moment of fear he'd kill him Zero murdered his own father using his powers. Seeing the great potential in him the first seat decided to take the young boy under his wing. They traveled to China where he was taught Kung fu under masters. Then was brought home to study technology, and it's works.
During the raid on facility one the place that held Julia, and the others like her. That his master was visiting to ensure everything was running smoothly. It was then that his master was taken into custody, this man that was like a second father to him. Was taken away, then executed because of a bunch of stupid snot nosed nobodies. Nobodies that got a chance to be a part of something greater than themselves. From that day on he swore he'd track down every single one of the people involved in his surrogate fathers "murder".
Over the twelve years that passed after the raid on the facility Zero worked to take over as the first seat. Being successful, and having the nearly unlimited resources he's managed to track down most of the people involved. One of the only remaining people being Julia, and it has brought Zero to Treaft city, as to finally finish his goal.

- FNX-45 Tactical Pistol, .45 ACP - Her favorite and preferred sidearm. Uses it with all kinds of ammunition, including lethal and nonlethal rounds.
- Remington R5 RGP Assault Rifle, 5.56mm NATO - Her preferred assault rifle when facing off against more trained and more dangerous units. Often has many accessories for various uses.
- Butterfly Knife - A simple butterknife she normally uses for intimidation and as a stress object.

- Still soft and squishy enough to kill if grabbed and thrown, hence when on-duty she normally wears armor under her jacket.

Personality and Origins:
Carmen Chavana is a wise-cracking snarky smartass who works as a contractor, whether it would on her own or with friends. In short, she's the type of person who would rescue someone from a fire, but steal their valuables and shoot the arsonist in the process. She's a very empathetic and caring person towards friends, and those who aren't in the game, but she has no qualms of killing an offending party, especially those who already qualify for a death sentence in almost any western civilization. While she's also brave and smart, she's also very anti-social, and prefers to be alone, or with at least one or two other people she could trust with her life. While she's made friends in a school she used to go to with other people who had super powers, she hasn't kept in touch with them after she went to Syria to fight alongside Kurdish militants against terrorists. She's also not the type to start fights, normally keeping a calm persona about her (despite cursing in spanish many times when she's mad), and never drawing her weapons or using force unless she really has to (normally in order to end the conflict as swiftly as possible). However, due to her past life as a felon, and her service in Syria, she's had a strong distrust of governments and figures of authority (the military doesn't count in her mind, she sees them as a good tool being used for the wrong problems). So while she's willing to cooperate with authority figures who have common sense, decently and will listen to any of her terms, she will not hesitate the beat the shit out of a politician or a cop who's sold out the people in favor of money or a criminal element.

Carmen Chavana was born under Rosa Chavana and Paco Gamero, who returned from Navy service onboard the USS Constellation shortly before her birth. When Carmen was 2 years old, Paco, who was still in a relationship with Rosa at the time, moved with his girlfriend and daughter to New York, as he had a friend that worked at the Trump Tower in New York City, offering him a high-paying job there. There, for most of her life, she grew up in New York City. However, when she was 7, the relationship between her parents was getting strained after her father was demoted, and from then she grew up under a drunk mother and an abusive father. Due to the nature of her family and the abuse that her mother and Carmen herself experienced from her father, she remained rather secluded and never had a chance to experience her powers (other than some instances of dodging her father's blows in some moments of slow motion, but she thought that was normal and told no one about that).

Her mother left Paco when Carmen was 12, though when they moved they moved into a small hispanic ghetto in the suburbs of NYC, where Rosa was able to easily purchase illegal drugs from one of the gangs that dominated the neighboorhood, as well as get "protection" in exchange, for... well... "services". Carmen, who was going to school (a rather terribly funded one at that), heard about the various gangs that ruled the area, and heard about all of the cool stuff about them that her peers talked to her about. Wanting a better life for herself, she ran away from home and hung out with one of the local hispanic gangs that ruled the area. She was thrown into her first fight, where she had to prove her worth to the gang by fighting one of its biggest members. This is when she first learned about how special her ability was, and how she could use its advantages. Using her quick reflexes, she was able to dodge most of the man's punches and throw some of her own, and even though he didn't go down that easily, the other members were impressed and recruited her into the gang, seeing how useful she was.

From that point on, she has grown up under a false family, though some of the gang members did treat her with the love and respect of other siblings. However, when she was older, she went on a crime spree with other members, robbing stores and rival gangs. She was never caught by the police, and never identified by any of her victims. However, it wasn't until she was 17 that she found out about a child molester living in her neighboorhood, and after finding horrifying evidence when robbing his home of such acts, she murdered the man responsible when he returned home, and protected children he kidnapped until the police arrived. When the police arrived, she surrendered peacefully to them, and she was arrested and imprisoned as a result. This was her first (and since then her last) kill, and when she took the shot, she never regretted doing that since. She was given a short sentence given the circumstances. Her sentence lasted for four years, and in that time she learned to be tougher, stronger, and studied.

Carmen was released from prison when she turned 21 after a few transfers and good behavior. She was originally on parole, but with some connections she was able to let the cops turn a blind eye to her. Hearing about a certain school that helps teach their students how to keep in touch with themselves and their powers, she went there as a life mission to improve herself. As part of her life mission, she had the tattoo of the Pheonix and Aries ash debri marks done in order to symbolize that she has risen from the ashes, born as a new, free bird. After attending school, however, she travelled to Syria to fight alongside the YPG militias against various threats in the area, mainly to do both humanitarian work and to fight terrorists. She was with the YPG for at least six months, and she returned home with a whole lot of stories, experience, and some perspective. As of now, she's working as a private contractor who's willing to arrest thieves, kill hitmen, kidnap crooked cops and rescue hostages.

Looks:
Carmen stands tall at 5'9", and has a rather toned muscle definition from a few years of practice and training (in prison). Brown hair, brown eyes, pretty face, very Hispanic. After she was released from prison, she's aquired a few tattoos along her back and shoulders, and a few more in prison as well. Along the back of her shoulders and the top half of her back are that of a Phoenix spreading its wings, and along her lower back are the ashes that it has risen from, the debri of the ashes scattered symmetrically on both sides, both of them forming the constellation of Aries on either side. She also has a few cigarrette burn marks along her arm, as well as a few slash wound scars along her gut and arms from fights with other criminals/prisoners. She also has a long scar along her cheek and temple, as an evaded attempt on her life in prison. She even has a few scars of bullet wounds from the various weapons terrorists fired at her during her tour of duty in Syria.

As for her clothing, she generally wears a tank top (typically white) or a T-shirt (typically with the flat black NAVY decal on it), and as for bottoms she either wears short jean shorts (in casual settings) or Navy BDU trousers (anytime else). Often times, she wears a small black leather jacket over it all in order to hide her conceal-carried .45 shoulder holster, but when on operations, she often forgoes the jacket for a black tactical vest with armor plates in it.

She is also in possession of a sleek black 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible that she's been working on shortly after she joined the hispanic crime gang in her neighboorhood. The few friends she had left after she left prison kept the vehicle and improved it while she was incarcerated, bringing it to her after she was released. She will be seen working on it during her free time from time to time, and has made it into quite a getaway car, having it accelerate in a hearbeat and reach 180 MPH. This is also where she stores a whole lot of her contraband (guns, drugs, other stuff), but all in a hidden area where they aren't easy to find. She also often travels with a friend named Kevante Covington, who's a non-superpowered fellow who was friends with her in prison. While she went to go fight with the YPG, he's been doing contract work on his own, establishing contacts and earning enough money to hold up on his own. He's a skilled fighter, and can hold his own against most other armed hostiles.

- Insane Genius - With his insane ability to comprehend the most abstract of ideas, he is able to create even the strangest of stuff, even when they seem nearly impossible.
- Insane Immunity - After being in close proximity to his experiments, he's gained the immunity from harm in almost all of them (because he found a way to protect himself from them, but only him, not others). That includes strange time-warps and stuff, too.

Weapons:
- Anything that he could get his hands on, including experiments that can cause weird effects on people if they come into contact with them.
- If not those, he might use a scalpel or a tranquilizer gun in order to stop an assailant.
- In the event of total emergency, however, he has stashed away an MG42 machine gun just in case if one of his experiments have gone awry.

Skills:
- Chemistry - He can create any chemical with almost any desired effect.
- Physics - With enough time and effort, he could build portals and time machines. However, he hasn't built any because he's aware of the effects they can have, and he doesn't want to destroy the universe. Yet.

Weaknesses:
- He's the only one immune to his experiments, and he's only immune to his experiments. He's not immune to bullets or any other threats.
- Due to his understanding of such abstract concepts and such impossible feats, he's gone completely insane, so he might make banana-flavored hamsters instead of a useful weapon or a useful tool sometimes.
- He's paranoid, like seriously paranoid, so it's almost difficult to befriend him. Carmen knows, she has the scars to prove it.

Personality and Origins:
Dr. Klaus Brevil is one of the most mysterious and craziest men you would meet in your life, though in a harmless way. When he's not around his lab, that is. He makes plenty of jokes, though plenty of times he doesn't even make any sense. He has the understanding of genius, and even though he knows he's one of the smartest humans on the planet and he brags about it quite often, he isn't the type to look down on people for their shortcomings, as he's aware of them and he wants people to embrace them, like how he embraces his own madness. Deep down he could be a very caring and loveable individual, and sometimes he would go out of his way to help people out when he feels like it. However, there's no stopping him from taking criminals from around his neighboorhood and using them as test subjects for his mad experiments! Almost everything he does he claims it's for SCIENCE!!! but in actuality, depending on his experiments and actions, some of them have underlying motives. Either he wants to help his friends or try to be good for once in his life (he has to take a break from being evil every now and then, every villain's gotta do that once in a while XD) but also times he likes to help himself to his own desires and do things for the sake of doing them. However, 90% of the time, he has no clue why he even performs the experiments. He just does them. And he enjoys it. Immensly. It's just so... STIMULATING!!!

No one knows where Dr. Klaus Brevil came from, many people think that he came from a family history of scientists from Nazi Germany. However, he has made hints to Carmen that he may have actually lived during that time, but he never has elaborated, and Carmen's dismissed that as nonsense. Either way, he's a mad scientist who has mad money from all of the contracts he's gotten from shady businessmen (who now sell stuff that gets recalled all of the time, one particular donor of Klaus is the infamous Martin Shkreli). For the longest time, he's been holed up under an abandoned building, a building that was once a warehouse for an industrial yard.

Looks:
What you see is what you get. Looks a little like Gene Wilder, and always wears a Labcoat. ALWAYS.

Other:
He owns a secret lab in the basement of an abandoned building out in the run-down suburbs of the gangland areas. He often hires his friend and associate Carmen to keep a lookout for him, and to protect his identity and location. When he's in trouble, Carmen's who he calls to take care of the threat.

Thomas was the usual nerdy kid of the high school, gifted in intellect and shunned by jocks. His actual skill only bloomed afterwards, when access to superior college education made his mind develop several times faster than those of his peers. He became the rock star equivalent of research and engineering, and companies tried to cajole him with fattened payslips. He eventually settled in the nearby city of Whuston and married his highschool sweetheart, a shy girl named Helen.

However, he was living too fast and too intensely, and soon it all came to bit him in the back. An industrial spy infiltrated his inner circle, wooed his wife and tricked her into revealing the careful project in developments he had. The infidelity hurt, but it wasn't nowhere as bad as losing his job with the fallout. Swallowing his anger like a bitter medicine, he forgave her, and sought out a new chance.

He never got one.

Spiraling into depression and bitterness as they got by with oddjobs like technician and taxi driver, one day the battered Thomas opened the door of his dorm. Only to find his dear Helen dangling from the ceiling, limp and lifeless, the burden of it all being too much to bear. So much grief and anger ensued, without a clear direction. Thomas shunned life, he shunned society. He shunned mankind.

He became Emperor, and much like in the Merchant of Venice, he rampaged, hellbent to get his pound of flesh out of the sick and wrong Whuston who had done him so much harm for the sake of profit. He used his skill not to help, nor for a brighter future, but for the sake of self-wealth and destruction, obstacles in his path be damned. He struck terror in the people's hearts, when his dark metallic power armor soared through the skies.

Heroes kept opposing him, but it was never enough to put him down. After all, his hatred could not be quelled easily. Eventually his style and power made others flock to his side, fellow crooks and madmen, into what constitued the Evil League of sorts. Heroes also were quick to band together.

The ensuing war tore the city apart, and culminated in a massive explosion that reduced Whuston to cinders and killed everyone involved. He almost died, aswell. It was then when he realized. Nothing but ashes came from the Emperor's drive. Broken, and with the deaths of friends, foes and an entire city weighing heavily in his mind, he drifted away towards Treaft, in hopes of finding an answer to his existial crisis. He now gets by with some stock market seeds that net him modest benefits to live frugally as another John Doe of the crowd.

He was given an extended leave of absence after a mission to assassinate an old friend of his who defected. Little did the higher-ups know that it would be his final mission for them. Other: The Vigilance Group (AKA Vigilance Security Solutions) is a legitimate business that has secret ties to the criminal underworld of Treaft. On the surface, they are merely a company that supplies security systems, and who are currently in talks with the government hoping to earn a 'national security contract' that would see them implementing a surveillance program called Overseer into the framework of every security camera nationwide. They have secretly already developed Overseer and embedded it into their products, giving them insight into over 75% of Treaft's security feeds. Their President/CEO/Founder, Zachariah Kreiger, who may or may not have past ties to a life of crime has decided to reach out to other syndicates in hopes of a partnership. He would offer up knowledge gained from the Overseer program and his private security forces, the Lancers, in exchange for simply a piece of the pie.
