alright, so for our super mutant and wastelander friend, this is how our the start of the RP is going to go, so you guys can decide how you want to introduce your characters.

The vault still has yet to open up to the outside world, and currently, my character and the former leader of the Vault-Tec staff are trying to convince the Overseer to let some people out, maybe like a recon team to make sure that everything is okay out there. Maybe one of you could happen to wander by the vault, and that the people in the wasteland already know of the vault and have just decided to leave them be until they were ready to come out.

It would probably be the only thing Elias and the vault tec leader will both agree to be reasonable to each other over and agree on.

@OrlanYeah, even though he's still respected as a leader in the eyes of the Vault staff, the Overseer is in charge, so he is more or less like a VP or secretary now. Doesn't mean he still can't push for things to be done.

I think the overseer and Elias will go on swimmingly really, just that he wants to send as many vault tec staff to their deaths as possible, seeing recon teams as a good way to do so while building up a small outpost near the vault, safe and secure.

Maybe Edgar and Ahab can meet in the Portland wastes? They could be forced to work together to survive an attack from raiders, and then possibly seek aid from the vault dwellers?

@HillanAlways open!

Vault Dwellers are not required, but they are strongly recommended, at least for the start. Then you can go and kill them off and introduce whatever you'd like, if you'd like of course.

I have an old Wasteland roamer character I've never really gotten the chance to fully explore, but I'm fine with using him as a secondary and making a younger Vaultdweller starting out!

How does a fresh-faced, naive kid with a knack for repairing stuff sound?

Full Designated Name:
Michael T. Jackson

Nicknames or alternate names:
Mike, Blackfinger.

Age:
19

Gender:
Male

Race:
Caucasian, Human.

Appearance:
6'1, 170 pounds. Slim, athletic, keeps in good shape but isn't buff. Wears a Vault 127 Jumpsuit, as opposed to the skintight-variant. Wears a pair of goggles on his forehead and a pair of gloves either in his pocket or on his hands. Once outside of the vault, he'll take off the upper part of the jumpsuit, sporting a more 'casual' blue pants and grey shirt look.

Sexual Orientation:
Straight.

General Personality and Outlook on Others:

Kind, mechanically intelligent, idealistic and he believes everything in live follows reason. He thinks people are logical machines, just like terminals, engines or guns. And there for, they should be predictable.

Hobbies and Interests:
Tinkering, building and reading. He's a nerd, through and through. He quite enjoys listening to radio and sings a fair bit in his spare time. He's worn out the holotape deck in the vault several times, as such getting very good at repairing it.

Profession and Position:
Junkrat If the sink's leaking, or if the nuclear reactor is acting up, Mike is the one you call, he'll come with a wrench in hand and a handful of bolts, screws and shitloads of duct tape.

Recognized Past:
His mother died during childbirth, his father raised him and his brother well, they were smart and strong boys. Randall strong, while Michael was smart, the two could solve just about any conflict if they put their heads to it. Mike and Randy both became Mechanical Technicians, just like their father, working together on keeping the vault running, at the behest of the overseer. When Mike was 18, a power outage occured at the Vault, and he and Randy went to fix the power, a shortage in one of the cables - a livewire fell down, about to hit Mike dead, when Randy leapt in front of the way, knocking his baby brother away from the wire, but getting hit himself, the electric discharge in his body put the young man in a coma, where he's been for the last year and a half. Mike's worked twice as hard ever since.

Talents, Abilities, and Skills:
As previously stated, he's smart, very skilled when it comes to repairing things, ranging from complex electronics to engines. He's a decent gunsmith, though he's not much of a shot himself, and even knows his way around a few explosives. He's midly charismatic, but mostly aloof, people tend to not think of him as a threat. Due to his relatively small frame, he would make an excellent user of stealth.

Relationships with others:
Naive and Nice are not usually two traits that will last you very long in the wasteland, and Michael has both.

Family members and status:
Cassandra Jackson; Mother - Deceased.
Jamie T. Jackson; Father - Deceased.
Randall Jackson; Older Brother - Comatose.

Additional information and Notes:
He's afraid of bugs and the very sound of wings buzzing around him sends chills down his spine.

@HillanAwesome!

A note, though. Because we not have three mechanic characters, one being the main mechanic (Elias, Orlan's character), and mine fixing things that she sees need to be fixed, Would it be okay if Mike a more grunt approach? I'm sure that Elias and Mia would both agree that learning the best way to land is when you're actively being thrown out of a plane, and since he is the youngest, and the lower end of the totem pole, he's be a bit more volunteered for gruntwork, while Elias and Mia would take care of the more deadly and dangerous problems in the vault since Mike's only a kid.

Of course, these are my own beliefs, and @Orlan should also have a pitch in this.

Seems reasonable. Though, gruntwork sounds to me like it would be the more dangerous and deadly parts of the work. Being more disposable, and what not.

@HillanWell, more like "lift this, tweak that, make sure that Mr. Handy's arms are on straight", basic work in comparison to the more dangerous stuff that the others'd be doing, but nonetheless just as important and safer for his health.

The trainee really would be a good idea in my mind, so he could witness the clashes between what I imagine are the experiment vault engineers and the vault tec staff area engineers sometimes violently. Just keeping the same basic duties in mind, the vault's apprentice.

Oh yeah, I meant to ask. How much of the story will be spent inside of the vault?
