Personality: Farah is a very difficult person. She grew up understanding that she had to be independent. No man (or women) would ever take care of her. She was born in this world alone, and she would be leaving it alone. Thinking this way is what lead her to become stubborn in her own ways. She will get her way, no matter what. However, she will not hurt people in the process of getting what she really wants. She will avoid conflict as much as possible, but will engage if she has too. She can become very loyal to people once they can prove that they are loyal to themselves and the people around them. She is respectful, but will only show respect for so long if the people around her do not share it back. Being a quite person, she will not go behind your back and stab you. She will tell you things to your face that could be difficult to hear or understand, but she will not do it in front of a crowd. Crowds make her quite and shy.
Trust is something that isn't earned easy with Farah. Being a introvert means not wanting to share things with others. She will play nice, but will get down and dirty to protect herself. She does her best to stay out of the way, but is a very hard worker. She will get things done when asked, and will go the extra mile to ensure that things will remain in order and nothing will change dramatically. She hates change, and cannot handle it very well. If things change in a short amount of time without prior knowledge, she becomes slightly unstable with her emotions. Decisions aren't easy, but once she makes her choice, she will stick with it and will not change her mind.
She is capable of loving, but has a hard time wanting a relationship with a man or possibly a female. She has never shown interest in wanting a relationship, but no person has came close to showing her the right ways of being loved. Being a closed person and not sharing the past, it's hard to make her fall in love with someone. It's difficult to hold onto friendships (even now), since trust seems to run thin in today's society.
History:Farah grew in the south part of Texas. Her parents made a living off of raising cattle and horses. Her parents instilled in her to become a hard working women. They hardly ever went into town for anything, unless it was for church or for medical care. Everything else was within reach of the ranch, including a small garden and small farm (chickens, goats, etc.). She grew up being the only child of the family. Her parents never spoke of family, so she knew very little of her family while growing up. Her parents claimed that they were bad people and they the outside world was a dangerous place to live and that no one would ever take care of her.
With this being her up bring, her father was also physically and mentally abusive to her mother. Yet, never to Farah. However, most the time, her father would ignore Farah or just get after her for the smallest things. Her mother home-schooled her. At a very young age, she learned to enjoy books and writing. Her mind would run wild, only wondering what the outside world really was like. They had no T.V., but a radio to listen to old music of her fathers choosing. She learned to take care of the house, and the farm while her father tended to the ranch.
In her teens, Farah expressed that she wanted to help people. Go to college and become something wonderful. She loved the thought of changing the world in some shape. However, her parents forbid her to go forth with her dreams. They demanded that she found a nice young man at church to marry, and live out her life just like her mother and her future children. Farah was far from pleased about this idea. With the help of her pastor, she was able to apply to colleges without her parents knowing. When she got 3 acceptance letters, Farah told her parents that she was no longer going to attend to the farm and would be leaving for college. Both her parents from that moment on stated they no longer had daughter and wished for her to never return to the ranch, since they felt she betrayed them.
Over the years of getting her Masters in Biology, she would write home in hopes her parents would change her mind, but nothing was ever written back. When Farah attended college, she learned her true colors. She learned that she couldn't trust no one, nor be in a "social" group. She was very scare of being around people. She didn't make any friends, nor have any kind of relationships with men since she could ever think men where just like her father. The fear of being abused and confined into a house with womanly duties.
When she graduated, she applied for Medical School to become a doctor. Slowly, her dreams where coming true. Learning how to become more social, building relationships, and overcoming personal battles, she still had a long way ahead of her before becoming a doctor.
