The RP will be starting tomorrow with the first IC post, so I suggest you get your character sheets in fast! Everyone's wanting to start the RP really soon and so am I!

As of now I'm already working on the first IC post for this RP. However, since this is the last day before the RP starts, do you guys have any questions about anything, regarding what needs to be explained, what areas on the universe I haven't touched on, etc.? Just sayin'!

@Rainbow There's some minor civil conflicts in some third world nations such as that of Chad, Sudan and a few other countries. The war in Syria and Iraq against ISIS was over in 2018 when Kurdistan was granted independence, though. Tensions are building up in between Kurdistan and Turkey (due to the Kurdish government under the control of a quasi-communist party with ties to a separatist movement in Turkey), and Iran is somewhat pissed about Turkey as well. There's been a fascist government takeover in Venezuela, and some rumors are spreading that something like that's gonna happen to Colombia too...

Though Kurdistan is still destroying the remnants of ISIS and other jihadist groups remaining in Syria and Iraq.

@Gilgex Somewhat, cars are still on wheels, and planes still use jet fuel and whatnot. Most of the modes of transportation are running on much more efficient energy, have massive cosmetic upgrades, have projected displays on the windshields, all kinds of safety and comfort features and are using all LEDS for their lights and stuff, but in the grand scheme of things, it's really the same (except for the fact that some of the more expensive vehicles can now drive themselves) The first 50 seconds of this video has some of the tech demonstrated. Small inexpensive desalinization plants, speedy magnetic monorails and other stuff like that are making strides in the Western World, though, but in places like Colombia, they got the leftovers of the modern tech that we see today (as in IRL today), with some small tech (like wrist-bound computers, transparent and small cell phones, and other stuff like that) seeing some prevalence among middle-class Colombians.

Also, alternative energy is making huge strides all around the world.

How different are the military and weapons from today?

@Rainbow Well most third-world countries are still using AK-47s, though some of the more better-funded countries, like those of Turkey, Iraq, Iran and (now) Kurdistan are using some of the new tech that most industrialized/post-industrialized countries have, which is that of goggles with HUDs, new ballistic armor, arm-bound computer tools and other stuff like that.

Soldiers look a bit like this in the Western nations and soldiers look a bit like this in Eastern nations. However in countries like Colombia, Kurdistan and Turkey, they have a whole lot of armory and tech that we see in IRL today.

The 32nd Peshmerga Unit will look like this (for both men and women) and carry weapons like these (VHS-2 rifles purchased from Croatia). While they are leftovers from 2010s development, they still work very well, even against 2020s tech demonstrations. The Turkish Army looks a bit like this, and carries these weapons (MPT-76 rifles developed in Turkey). The Colombian Army (as of now) remains relatively the same, with a few upgrades, but no new developments... yet.

Drones, jets, tanks, APCs and all of that are still in use, but some countries (especially Kurdistan) are adopting South African MRAPs to replace their humvees, as they are very effective in defense against IEDs and other explosives (which is very useful when fighting ISIS and other jihadi holdouts).

Well there's no order. Someone posts first, and people post with details regarding the first post, and then someone posts with details to the post above, and so on and so forth. There's no post order, though you shouldn't post until like 3 other people have/until the person you're solely interacting with replies. If we're waiting for someone, or if the RP is held up for some reason, we can always to a timeskip or a flashback post, or skip the person we're waiting for if the person hasn't replied in 2-3 days (or more depending on speed of RP).

I also moved the NPCs to the Characters tab so they'll be much easier to find, and list updates to.
