It's a good way to start off an adventure, have many of us go off hunting for a local monstrosity with a feral glowing one in tow... Can't think of a better one really.

@knighthawk I like the idea you have for your character. The only issue is that your selected skills are actually perks. Something like Energy weapons (Which works with radiation weapons), survivalist, or repair (because you are a robot. repairing yourself) would be something up your alley.

That ghoul emits about 5 rads per second (according to YouTube clips I watched of them could find a more accurate number) and the death cap in fallout is 1000 rads. Holding that thing on your back will kill you in 3 minutes 20 seconds lol. About 16 min 40 if you are on radX or something haha. With the exception of the supermutant of course. If it continues to stay inside the entire part will die quickly and the new plot will be the super mutant clearing its name of these horrible murders lol

This does not count its radiation burst ability that does not need its limbs to use haha

History:

Nobody quite knows where John originally came from, but he's a familiar face to many scavengers and settlers, especially in the Commonwealth Wasteland. He has no home and family, and loves to roam around the continent for fun - Which is something no sane person would do. He's mostly known for his grumpy and straight-forward attitude, surgical skills and wide variety of addictions. John is interested in pre-war technology and life, and heavily dislikes the Brotherhood of Steel for personal reasons.

I think I'll just draw one, since I don't want to fully steal an existing character's looks. But yeah, going to post tomorrow. *Checks the time* Oh, it already is tomorrow. Maybe I'll just go to sleep.

You can't take that as gospel though. That's a form of game mechanics, and we all know there's such thing as gameplay and story segregation. The rads put out by glowing ones has always been subject to change between games, as does how rads affect the player. Not to mention that you didn't take into account that time passage in game is much faster than time passage for the player in real life, so the scaling is off anyway. I'd say that the actual amount of radiation emitted by a glowing one would not be harmful unless you spend several hours in its presence.

I'm just imagining what horrid creature Lewellyn will be hunting.
