The world in which this takes place is Vallorum. It is made up of three kingdoms, one queendom and an unknown land of which no one has ever returned. The four main armies of the four monarchies are under a constant state of war with one another, forging temporary alliances that break just as quickly as they are made. Assassins, magic, alchemy, all out warfare... all are vying for control or extermination of all the others by any means necessary.

The continents

Each continent has been monopolized with the exception of the western continent. This in essence means every continent is completely united under each ruler's respective banner; with the exception of rebellions coming about now and again for various reasons, of course.

Technology

In terms of technology, black powder can be found commonly throughout all continents but is most popular in the Central and Northern continents. Use of magic and magical items is also not a rare sight with a booming demand for such things worldwide that won't stop any time soon. Electricity (mostly lighting) can be found to power high class inns in most places throughout the world, with the exception of Naero with the advancements that allow them to supply electricity all across the continent. The best technology can be found in Naero with the exception of magical wands and staves of which Falgaria is the strongest.

Starting location

The party will be starting in the mining town of Klaus in the central kingdom, which is a few days' journey from the capital city of Freefeather. Popular for its silver mines which deliver directly across all of the kingdom, it's one among many suppliers of wealth that make Kimohrun as a whole so desirable. It's surrounded by forestry and wildlife which is slowly being cut down to make way for more paths in and out of the town.

Strange disappearances have recently been occurring deeper within the mines, having been caused by an unknown source. Some speculate undead due to the growing number of them plaguing the continent as a whole, while some say that the mine led to a secret Drow society that has been killing off any who get too close. Either way, miners are disappearing in mass numbers.

On lighter notes a famous wizard has been seen in the area of late, just recently buying a room at the Golden Goose Inn. He is known for his amazing abilities that he uses to help people in need - for a reasonable price.

In terms of shops, Klaus is home to a blacksmith, alchemist, hunter, and wizard; all of whom sell goods relating to their respective professions. There is also a miscellaneous goods shop home to all sorts of bizarre oddities.

I'll be posting more details in the morning, but for now this is a quick summary of the key points of each continent. If anyone has any questions feel free to PM me or leave a message here.

Looks like we've got a cross between Pathfinder and Ebberon. An advancement of Dungeon Punk. I can get behind this sort of setting. Question - who are we going to be aligned with/working for/pretending to work for?

BTW, I'm assuming that starting gold is average for our class. That's the usual for 1st level characters, unless we're getting more than usual.

Sorry, ended up passing out last night shortly after posting the topic.

You roll for your starting gold depending on the class, and multiply the roll by 10.

Your characters can be a part of whichever organization/faction they want to be, aside from anything to do with the western continent. I'll be starting you all off in the central kingdom a few towns north of the capital city near the center of the continent, so for whatever reason that your characters have to be there, that's where they'll all be starting. Alternatively you could just all be adventurers or mercenaries with whatever goal in mind.

I wasn't really thinking that you would all necessarily be a part of the same group; that part would be up to you. If that were preferred then some of you could be Falgarian spies since they're scouting in secret right now and causing chaos from the inside. Or from Thilsis if you wanted to go the militant route as they are currently staging invasions from the southern shore of the central kingdom (though being non-human while with Thilsis is....eeeeeh, there would need to be a convincing reason as to why).

At the end of it though, I was thinking you'd all be whatever you want to be for your backstory and allegiances (within reason, of course).

How's Mythweavers sound for character sheets? That way we can also share them if need be. It's practical too.

@YamazakiAre you still thinking of going something Witcher-esque? I got that feel from the classes you were suggesting in the original thread.

What have we got so far?
-Sneaky DPS (Magus/Slayer/Rogue)
-Tank Secondary Healer (Paladin)
-Primary Healer Support (Druid)

Sounds about right?

Currently considering rogue/magus multiclass going into arcane trickster. Which means stealthy dps with a dash of support. I'll get something a bit more formulated in the morning.

@vosenedich Mythweavers? I'm not familiar. What kind of features does it have?

Also the current line-up is:

Paladin
Druid
Rogue/Magus/Multiclass between the two
Sorcerer

Mythweavers is an online character sheet repertoir. Has character sheets for pretty much every popular system and is quite safe.

Also probably playing a Magus Blackblade (Fighter/Support).

Just to make sure we're all on the same page in regards to rolling for HP, your HP total at level 1 will be...

Maximum roll for your class for HP, with an additional roll added on of that same die, and adding on the modifier for constitution as well.

So for, say, a druid... their starting HP would be 8 + 1D8 (to be rolled on here on the dice roller for proof) + con modifier.

@Speedwagon Now that's generous for HP. Can't complain though!

BTW, any house rules on Traits, or just the usual maximum of two?

Now to figure out if I'll go rogue or magus first... Yeah, half-elf rogue/magus will be a fun combo. Tried it out briefly for a campaign before, had fun with the character, although I'll have to do a few things differently this time (new errata of certain feats changes how the character would work).

@Yamazaki

Maximum of two bonus traits, but if you take the feat for additional traits, you can get four total.

Not sure where you want this posted first, so I'll go here for now:

Keris Mardok
Starting HP Roll (8)
Starting Gold Roll (17)

I took a minor liberty in giving her a spellbook (as if she was a prepared caster at 1st level) as she'll be multiclassing into Magus next level. Also, if you need links for the various archetypes, I can provide them (all are on the PF OGC site). I used her favored class bonus to gain extra HP this first level.

Feel free to check my work over and lemme know if anything needs fixing.

EDIT: updated character sheet a bit. Using non-expermental Pathfinder sheet now.
