He got another dose of Soda. YAY!

After Ayeka gave him the drink, he guzzled a bit slowly. Well, he overheard something about this place being some sort of Interdimensional gateway. Where did he heard that before? Ah, yeah. Some irritating Tsundere from his past told so.

Ayeka notices a guy playing with cards, she is not I stress because she does not gamble. She pours some more vodka in the rocker chick, s glass. She walks over to the guy with the cards, "what kind of drink can I get you?" She will fix the guy drink order when she is making Tic a new drink.

@timelord1101@Alisdragon911 (And any others by the bar)

Zyrid shifted off of the bed, the sheets tugging at his clothes as he did so, curling up into waves along the materials edge. He had felt the motion of existence and life during the few silent minutes, or at least what felt like that long, while sat upon the bed beside the preoccupied mind of the white haired female. It was time for exploration, a small stretch of his muscular material legs for once, perhaps even a drink or twenty.

As Zyrid's weight moved onto the floor boards below him, his shoulders swayed through the air to tilt his neck, a brief smile flying back towards his equally brief carer. He had appreciated her effort to check his health, but it was unnecessary, he was in no real danger from a little inter-dimensional torsion. It's peculiar, the mortal mind and its body that comes with, though he had always prefered it, despite the belly button.

Such thoughts scaled over his mind and into his eyes, so he blinked them away and shook his head as he broke past the door way. Taking the few steps towards the stairs, Zyrid adjusted his silk collar and the leather cuirass over it. Presentable was all that he aimed to be, in both appearance and intellect of course, the later being the primary objective - though it didn't hurt to stimulate the eye. Zyrid took the last step with a small skipped step and strolled slowly over to the bar, waving his hand through the air in one swift and calm motion.

The ring upon his hand surged brightly for a moment, purple sparks cutting through his nails in jagged patterns, one leaping inside the veins of his arms and crackling about his body. His eyes brightened up in their grey blue fashion as the energy dissipated and a lush stool materialized in the place before him by the bar, purple silk decorated its vaguely oval top and a deep grey wood was its foundation.

Throwing his leg around and hopping on top of his favorite bar stool, Zyrid snapped a finger in a playful manner toward the general back-bar area, not lifting his head from a small scratch on the wooden top, the sound fired like a small explosion from his finger tips, echoing slightly across the Taverns bottom floor. He smiled, a glint of light catching his teeth and the white of his eyes as he lifted his head up an inch, rushing his hands against the torrent of hair on his head, pushing it back into its slicked-back place.

"Right here!" He said confidently to the world around him, pressing his index finger down onto the scratch to indicate his position, were it not obvious enough by now. He continued with a tone of one who had just realized the meaning of a statement, or perhaps discovered the humor in a joke "oh, you're going to need something to write this down,".

"You look lik a cutie to me, I give this on the house." Ayeka says winking at him before she stop flirting with him as she notices a guy with high power. She fills a glass of soda with ice and sits it in front of the guy. She walks over to the guy sitting on the fancy stool, what kind of drink can I get you?"

Zyrid smiled kindly to the young woman, lifting an eyebrow along with a smirk as he contemplated the beverage he wanted, as some would not be possible in this plane, and others may kill him in human form. There was always the Drunken Drunk Drinker, but Zyrid was always fonder of the Yellow Eyes when he wanted the, what humans call, 'shit face' effect. Perhaps this tavern could assist with his requirements. Or maybe he was being too demanding.

Either way, Zyrid was looking for pleasure not loss of memory and motor functions, so he placed a crystal coin upon the bar top. The coin had materialized in his palm as his eyes flared blue, a magic trick to most, though in truth a genuine way of payment - somewhere in Zyrid's library, a small leather notebook burst into purple flames, though he had already read it, he would morn its loss later. Pushing the coin forward to the girl, he asked in a querying tone.

"Do you happen to store galactic nuisances in this establishment? A sun child will do otherwise."

@Alisdragon911Anthony looked surprised. "Alright, thank you very much miss." he said before taking a gulp of his drink. Not long after his glass was empty. "Excuse me, can I get a refill please?" he asked.

@Pineappletumble Ben looked at the woman who had just gotten her drink, the one Tic had pointed at. "No, I don't know her." he said, turning back to Tic. "Looks like she got her ass kicked by something though." He would have gone over to help her if she hadn't already been tended to. The Elven lady seemed to be making friends, and Ben nodded to the newcomer Anthony in a friendly manner, before glancing Zyrid's way, wondering if Tic had an explanation for this as well.

@Ionalien Ben nodded, and pulled up a chair and set it beside him. "Sure, bud. What's up?" he asked. "I'm Ben, and this is Tic." The young man gestured to his pixie friend.

Anthony set his drink down and took a seat next to Ben. "I'm Anthony, though one of these days I'll come up with some cool stage name...oh well. Nice to meet you two." he said.

Slowly getting up from his chair Tic gave a quick nod to the new comer.

"G-day, 'scuse me for a moment" he flew back to the bar almost throwing himself into wooden panelling below it when the current of mana he flew on was a lot thicker than predicted. He raised a hand towards the bar maid for his drink as he hoovered gently near the counter, he recognised the man next to him. Yeah he was the guy in the room Clay was in, well if he's here and and clay isn't where was Clay.

"Good ta see you up and about" he seat he then give a quick glance behind him to make sure Clay hasn't snuck up on him and whispers "Where's Clay?"

Heart pounding in time to the clicks of his shoes on the wet pavement, Hardwick ran frantically through the streets. No matter how many shortcuts he took, no matter how many side-streets he wound through, the shrill cries and bellowing that stalked him only seemed to get louder and louder. He was running out of options.

From his perspective, the street he was running down looked no different to any others - a mish-mash of apartments and shopfronts, the odd alleyway that led deeper into the murky underbelly of the city. There's no way I can keep going like this. I need to come up with a plan.

Hardwick's breathing was laboured as he came to a halt. The constant drizzle of the last hour was rapidly whipping itself up into a storm, filling the streets with a fine mist as the rain pelted down, the odd thunderclap drowning out the sound of his pursuers.

There was a garage further up the street with a weathered sign next to it that read 'H.P. Lowecraft Motors: With prices like these, you'll think you're dreaming!' More importantly however, there was a large chainlink fence that blocked the adjacent alleyway - that would buy him some time.

He looked back down the street. He could see the mob in the gloom now as their long robes billowed in the cold night air. He could just make out their blood-curdling shouts: 'There's the heretic, don't let him escape!' 'I will consume your flesh and offer your soul to the Old Ones!' 'You cannot outrun your fate forever, rat!'

Hardwick didn’t need much more encouragement than that. It wasn't long before he was over the flimsy fence and bolting down the alleyway, away from the ravenous crowd. But he slipped and fell on the wet cobblestones as, much to his horror, a hooded figure stepped out from the shadows and produced an ornate dagger. Even in the gloom, the maniacal yellow grin of the cultist was unmistakable - like a snarling beast about to make their kill. 'Yog-Sothoth will feast well this evening.'

The figure lunged forward. Hardwick's hand shot down to his holster and pulled out his revolver as the raised dagger in his assailant's gnarled hand glinted in the streetlight's glare. He brought the small sidearm up as the cloaked figure brought down his knife, and pulled the trigger.

The shot rang through the alley louder than the thunder above. In the brief moment of illumination provided by the muzzle's flash, Hardwick looked up at his attacker's face and saw... Nothing. A sinister impermeable darkness filled the hood, obscuring everything but the man's bloodshot, wild eyes and his sinister yellow grin. The knife dropped from his now-limp fingers as his lifeless body dropped onto Hardwick's.

It took a bit of effort to roll the dead cultist off him; beneath the slim profile that the robes portrayed, the man was deceptively heavy. No sooner than had he gotten to his feet, the chain link fence behind him began rattling and the deranged cries of the others began to echo down the alley as they began to scale the barrier.

Hardwick quickly resumed his sprint down the alley, turning down a corner behind the garage to find nothing but a brick wall and a single, heavy-set oak door. He looked back at the way he came - there was no other way out, and they knew it. 'Oh, to Hell with it' he muttered under his breath. He squared his shoulders and began ramming the door, pleading with it to give way.

The robed figures rounded the corner slowly, blocking off the way back. One figure, clad in red rather than black, stepped forward. 'Give it up, James. There's nowhere left to run. If you had just stayed in Arkham and kept your nose out of our affairs, you could have lived a long and happy life. But the Great Old Ones demand tribute, and it is not my place to deny them. Take him.' The figure gestured to his devotees who slowly advanced towards Hardwick, chanting.

Hardwick paid no attention to them. He could feel the wooden bolt behind the door buckling under constant assault. Just... A few... More...

With the loud crunch of splintering wood, Hardwick burst through the door into the mysterious room beyond and landed on the floor. The door, curiously undamaged from this side, shut itself behind him.

(OOC - Hardwick is now in the tavern. I won't be around for 8-12 hours but people can feel free to react/interact to him accordingly.)

"I have no idea, friend." Zyrid replied, eyeing the wings of the creature he saw previously. The magic that pulsated within them was gentle but wild, untamed but none the less restrained. Though, it seemed their owner was some what of a drunkard.

"Why? Do you need him?" Zyrid could sense this one did not want to be within a galactic zip of the Lycan 'Clay', but he was curious as to the response he would receive. It was always funny to watch the minuscule responses to stress and anxiety in different species.

Looking away from the one sat alongside him, Zyrid tapped on the bar again, right on top of the scratched surfaced and addressed the lady behind the bar as he looked beyond the walls and people to the slight ebbing energy alone by a table.
"Any chance the owner has any Galactic nuisances?"

"Who needs him? I don't need him, why would you even ask that?!" after taking a sip from his drink he hand shacking a little more than it should have been he dropped the glass, luckily it landed on the bench spilling some of his drink on him more than anywhere else.

"Dreck, not again" muttering he said putting the wet sleeve in his mouth sucking what he could of the drink out "Hey if ya see Clay come tell me, and don't you tell him where I am" he picked up his glass again more carefully this time.

He paused before turning back to his table "You're welcome to join us when ya get your drink, I know better than most here its no fun drinking alone" floating back he gave a glance to the waitress

"When you get a chance you still owe me that book name" he gave her a smile and rejoined his table.

Hardwick groaned. The impact on the floor had done more damage then he'd expected, and his chest burned and contracted with pain.

A woman's slender hand reached down gently to help him. He grabbed it and with assistance slowly got back up on his feet. 'Thanks ma'am. The name's Hardwick, Private Investigator. I'm sorry for the intrusion, I'll be on my way shortly...' He trailed off as he looked up at the woman's face - it was too delicate and slender to be quite human. Two unnaturally large, pointy ears stuck up from the sides of her head.
