Look at all these people actually doing stuff.

It's cool. Not like I want to post but can't because I don't have any Might and have real life matters to attend to.

Very much. Very very much. Enough to all-his-Might Vowzra-smash your civilisation into oblivion. He would be creating destruction. Haven't yet read Antarctic's latest post, but whatever it is, best not to react by creating a space-age civilsation. Unless, of course, you would like to do so in your own plane and have them escape and colonise a planet or something, in which case fair enough. But no space age civ on either Galbar or Arcon.

I suspected as much. I'll leave it as a distant dream, then.

<Snipped quote by BBeast>

I don't think it's possible to rush a civilization that much. The might cost would be immense

Well, it isn't too impossible for Teknall to do that, considering it's his Domain and all. Let's count what he needs: Metalworking, Advanced Metalworking, Mechanics, Manufacturing, Mass Production, Electricity, Chemistry, Explosives, Computing, Electronics, Automation, Mathematics, Astronomy, Physics, a bit more Physics, probably a bit more Maths too, Radar, Radio, let's throw in some more Mechanics and Manufacturing. We'll also need Mining, the Wheel, Transportation, Vehicles, Engine, another Engine, Aerodynamics, Flight. Put some more into Science and Engineering. Do some more Technology too. Then with those preliminary steps out of the way, we can actually get to the space program. That will take a few points. Throw in a few extra points to tie it all together and cover anything I've missed, and that brings the total up to about 40 Might.

I may have to save for a few turns to do that.

If Tekanll goes all space race on us, can Amartía have his mountains?

Back off they belong to the Rovaick (who are slowly all becoming cultists of Toun)

(Yes. All of them.)

Then soon you gonna have 2 cultist sects in those mountains. Rovaick Civil War? I'll cut you Toun!

Edit:Oh wait, Toun a god. Maybe we can have a calm discussion over tea.

Incoming jokes aside, the Craftmaidens post was a nice read. You guys pulled off the family/birth vibes pretty well.

Teknall took a moment to catch his breath and gather his thoughts. "So, what I'm asking, is, can you help me make a person?"

gosh teknall isn't that a little up front

"Uhm." In truth, after spending so much time with Jvan, she kinda expected it to be just some new urge of dubious nature.

J-girl brings all the goblin boys to the yard with her dubious urges.

Might doesn't have to be a barrier. You have Falas and Loth to work with when it comes to shaping Angelic history, culture and expansion, and if they're preoccupied you can always put a little development into the other four Archangels and have them innovate something.

Technology can happen naturally without requiring Might, or even centuries worth of time. Just luck and interesting characters messing with each other's ideas. There are good personal stories behind a lot of inventions and historical events.

You might even write up some other race's character developing some idea which is promptly stolen or shared by the angels, if you feel like working with something completely different.

There's got to be a point where you cause mortal minds to rupture if you pile on too much technical information at once, right?

I'm just imagining the Chippers all collectively becoming raving lunatics, writing endless mathematics on caverns with charcoal. No one knows what the hell they're talking about until they start constructing a strange metal tower with four strange letters down the side.

"Kinesis, I heard that your birth was an interesting event. What happened?"

"Well, erm...it was a caesarean...
...an auto-caesarean...
...really more of a recursive auto-caesarean. A natural birth, all things considered. Just like a human."

EDIT: Added Conata's CS to the character tab. Also moved the hain timeline there just in case I run out of characters on Toun's CS post.

Why can't an upcomming demigod take over a mountain. And strip of land. Maybe we can work out a real estate plan? Kinda need a civil war for my multi-fascited plan.

Now I have two reasons to start a space age: get people to mine Teknall's moon, and go look at Jvan's space life.

How much would Vowzra hate Teknall if he rushed a civilisation to the space age?

You live in a world of myth, just make a magical door/bridge/cave that connects to the moon.

I was laughing more at the image of Toun sitting down to tea with someone he's annoyed with and popping every vein in existence just with the effort of not raising his voice.

I heard that vein popping was bad for the skin, not to good for a perfectionist god. Sin only want the mountains touching the strip of land. And Perfection vs Sin over tea doesn't sound like a good idea. Maybe someone should invent chess. I have no Might too.

The Mobius Board could hypothetically pop Chess out at some point.

You know, I've been working on that post in which Zephyrion brings people over into the Firewind for literally the past two months. It's not even that long or of outstanding quality, I've just completely scrapped it two or three times already and have had such huge writer's block that I maybe manage a paragraph or two per week.

But no more! I shall force myself to deliver something resembling a post today, and telling you all about it should give me the much-needed motivation to finally finish that abomination.

You both do know that if this cult isn't secretive, Sularn is straight up gonna murder everyone of them he and his Toun cultist friends find.

The cult of Amartía is. I didn't add the Illumi part of nothing. I am the Illuminati King.

With that, Amartía can sink his claws in two pieces of land. Thier will be a Hain Humam, Rovaik population in the the desert right? The Illumi knows no bounds!
