At some point in most of our lives, we've met a famous person. Whether it be a local celebrity or a major pop star, we have all had interesting run-ins with the famous. I thought it would be fun to share some such stories where we call all read the cool, spontaneous, or even awkward moments we've had when meeting a celebrity.

This past year I've met a lot of celebritie, but the best meeting story of all came when I met the singer Katy Perry.

I was at lunch when suddenly I got a cellphone call and it was a friend of mine saying she put my name in a raffle and I won. I then asked what it was and she told me. I then asked if she was serious (because that'd be a great prank) and she wasn't kidding. The next day, Katy was doing a small show in my hometown and before she went on, I got to go backstage and meet her in the makeshift dressing room for her outside gig. I don't remember it at all.

All I remember walking in and shaking her hand and that's it. I forget what we talked about, but I do remember saying I felt like her when everyone was taking photos.

I have also had a chance encounter with former United States President Bill Clinton last year. He was about to leave a venue and I asked for a photo very quietly in his direction (didn't even think he heard me) and he responded back "what?" I then repeated my question and he said, "Yeah, come over, come over." I was freaking out inside when he said this I had my photo taken (I look so excited in the photo) then after the photo was taken Bill Clinton patted me on the back.

To this day, I look at the photo and think, "how in the world did this happen?"

Anyway, those are two of my famous people stories. What do you guys have?

I once shook hands with Canadian actor Nathan Carter.

Michael Buble once signed a guitar-pick for me, which really makes no sense, since he's a singer.

I regularly go to the same sushi place as Canadian rock-drummer Robbie Bachman (brother of Randy "Takin' Care of Business" Bachman), and have run into him a couple times.

I shook hands with three fourths of the Blind Boys of Alabama.

I once had a short chat with Orianthi, who toured with both Alice Cooper and Michael Jackson.

I shit you not, my parents accidentally dropped me off at an adult movie theater because they saw an ad saying that the lead actress was visiting the town during a screening of the film. I was allowed in (I have no idea how) and after said screening, I got to meet Jenna Jameson. I was like eight when this happened.

I looked in the mirror.

I've met quite a fair bit of local celebrities on various odd assignments I took up to earn some pocket money over the school hols...

But no point naming them here since they are only locally known, and pretty much nameless souls outside of my region. /shrugs
