This is a WWII era introductory level casual Nation RP. I am open to any questions you may have at any time if you have never done an NRP before that is fine I am more than willing to help. I will be GMing this and will not have a nation, instead I will control 5 major nations as NPCs.

The year is 1939 Common Era, once more the major powers of the world eye one another across the table at diplomatic meetings while they plan to kill each other and take what more of the world they can. The possibility of war is only at a simmer though between these great nations, instead they are reaching out across the globe and pitting puppets and allies against one another. They offer money, infrastructure, resources, information on enemies, anything and everything up to and including military hardware and the training on how to use it. All they demand is your loyalty to them and their hegemony. Five great superpowers demand the loyalty of the world, some try to remain neutral underestimating the power of those who they deal with and are often all too soon removed from power by means they never expected often overthrowing the entire government in the process and a more receptive government in place. Some countries find this happening more than once as they switch sides in one bloody revolt after another. You are given a choice by these nations, accept payment and protection from one, or be replaced by someone who will take their wealth and bow to them.

United Kingdoms of Harrlow

Though a relatively small nation compared to others the Kingdom of Harrlow expanded outwards and colonized or seized much of the known world. A constitutional monarchy and free market economy they still remain much of their power due to still holding most of their colonies the world over. They consider most of the newer major powers upstarts and while it fields a powerful navy it's military is short in numbers. They gain most of their economic strength from exploiting their colonies and using the resources there to trade dominating trade lanes with their powerful navy and experience in a world many are just now taking steps into.

Republic of Faliase

Ancient rivals of Harrlow the Republic of Faliase have the longest and most prestigious military history of the major powers though has a history of failing to take advantage of them or defeat their ancient rivals at sea. One of the first powerful nations to become a republic it did so in a bloody revolution and had to to fight tooth and nail for years against kingdoms all around it to stay free of a monarchy. They have many colonies across the globe but lack the sheer dominating size of the United Kingdoms though still exploit many natural resources from their colonies and turn that into strength for their empire though keep more resources internally than their rivals who rely more heavily on trade.

Greater Wechsein Reich

Formed from a large and varied cultural group even before being a single homologous nation the Weighsein had notable military history fighting each other and other nations. Since their inception they have been enemies of the Republic of Faliase who they share a border with and constantly compete against in domination of the continent they share. They also share a border with The People's Socialist Republic putting them in perhaps the most precarious position and have often had difficulty in taking and keeping colonies. They have a larger industrial base than Faliase or Harrlow and are known for being very industrious people as well as being rather militant in nature being forced to fight more directly than the other nations to maintain their position of power. They are the only major fascist nation and the economy is largely government controlled.

The Union of Free States

The youngest of the five but the most economically powerful. A free market economy democratic nation that is an amalgamation of ethnicities. Separated from the others by an ocean it has generally pursued a policy of isolationism and due to it's strength which grew rapidly has largely been allowed to continue it's policy. Recently though it has begun to reach out more economically subverting nations and placing collaborative governments allowing the large companies of the Free States to dominate the nation's economy. Militarily they are inexperienced compared to others but is known for their spirit and both large and high quality industrial base that does not lack for natural resources.

The People's Socialist Republic

By far the largest nation the PSR is new only in that is suffered a revolution barely over a century ago that overthrew the old Monarchy and put in place a hardline communist nation. It's economy is among the weakest of the five major powers though it's industrial base has grown strong over the last century from being an overall weak and backwards nation and is now the only nation able of challenging the Union of Free States in terms of overall industrial capacity. Since the revolution it has aimed at creating a communist society that stretches across the globe and has made no attempt to hide these aims though it has largely been hiding military strength and is considered military weak by most of the major power of the world.

As you can clearly tell each of the major powers is an analog for a real world nation, UK, France, Germany, US, and USSR and will in general act similar overall with some changes to make the RP easier.

The region you will inhabit is south of the PSR though some distance away with heavily mountainous terrain common between you. The rest of the nations are closest to the west which means that any ships from them sail south around the rest of the continent before finally making it up to the region you inhabit.

Rules:
I am not big on rules though I will add to these as needed.
1. Do not play to win, this is an RP the goal is a cool story and fun.
2. Don't be a douche.
3. Debates are fine, discuss things and if you disagree with me I am open to discussion.
4. Nothing happens unless it happens IC, if I catch people doing stuff where 2 or more people collude together in PMs to have sudden alliances for work together suddenly then you will be removed from the RP and banned from all future RPs.

Settling combat: when combat or wars happen collaborate together as events happen in the battle, if an agreement cannot be met I will step in with a ruling.

For your nation understand you do not have to be already aligned with a foreign power this is not going to be a purely military RP so things like the major powers trying to diplomatically or economically sway you are likely to happen and feel free to try to sway each other IC.

Name: Phenaerum

(Phenaerum is a translation from the now-lost Old Empire Language, it means "Phoenix's Nest".)

The rivers where the black line ends are the borders.

Government: Republic

Economy: Free Market mixed with a traditional system. Businesses only have simple Government regulations and taxes, besides that the Government turns a blind eye.

Population: Aprox. 3,500,000

Society: The Phenaerin people are a quiet, withdrawn people, preferring peace to war. They dress rather simply, in clothes that others might call sacks. Oddly enough for their time period, the Phenaerin people don't have any gender bias. There are many females in the Military, and several female representatives as well. Due to this, amongst a lack of other dogma, the Phenaerin are sometimes described as savages who haven't developed culture yet. They would love to disagree, saying that they are truly enlightened in not letting silly things like fashion or gender get in the way of their everyday attempts to simply better their country.

Military: Weak, outdated military. Phenaerum has not produced a weapon domestically for several decades, as such all equipment is imported, most of it retired from service elsewhere.

(all designs just copies of real-life machines to make judging performance easier. Real-life equivalents noted in parenthesis)

Phenaerum Army:
Consisting of about 280,000 personnel, the Army has outdated equipment that has to be constantly refurbished to remain slightly operational. The PSA has no modern tanks, only old trucks and some well “loved” tanks and tankettes (Renault FT light tanks [37 mm Girod-turret variant] and Carden Loyd tankettes). This... ah, armored batallion only has 105 of these vehicles (65 tankettes, 40 actual tanks). The rest of the mobile force is pretty much just civilian vehicles, some of them with machine guns attached. The main arms of the infantry are bolt-action rifles, and handguns (SMLE Lee-Enfields and Browning Hi-Power handguns). The country has adopted heavier automatic weapons (Lewis and Maxim guns), but, due to economy and tooling restrictions SMGs have not been put into service yet. The country does have some older artillery, including mortars, howitzers, and field guns (105 and 152 MM towed howitzers, 54 and 75 MM towed field guns, 82 MM infantry mortars). Infantry do have pineapple grenades. Training is poor and the ranking system is basic at best, and maintenance is definitely a shortcoming.

Phenaerum Air Force:
It was an ordeal just getting the PHAF to exist, but after it's creation in 1920, the Government was willing to buy only old hand-me-downs. They managed to get a few war relics, some of them complete with bullet holes, broken struts, even bloodstains from some poor guy who had met the golden BB. Nothing has changed. Now, the Air Force consists mostly of stringbag wood-and-fabric biplane fighters (25 Armstrong Whitworth Siskin, 15 Hawk P-1) with radios hastily retrofitted. The bomber force is not much better, and probably stand no chance in a modern fight (15 Breguet 19, 12 TB-1, and 15 Blackburn Darts, again with radio retrofits, and the TB-1s have had Lewis guns installed in place of their Russian counterparts). On top of the bomber squadrons there are several transport squadrons of various aircraft. These aircraft are very patchwork affairs, with maintenance constantly a hassle due to how hard it is to import parts and the even more difficult task to create them. Their advanced age does not help. The pilots are also not the best trained, but their pride for their country usually makes up for it.

Phenaerum Navy:
11 destroyers make up the bulk of the Navy (8 Wickes-class, 3 M-class). Several hastily armed civilian ships are also in service, last estimate was 6, though it is doubted how effective these are. All of the ships were retired and sold at a bargain to Phenaerum, one of the ships arriving with a hole where a 4 inch shell pierced her after a live-fire test where she was used as a target. Another had her stacks knocked over. These are old, rusty, dirty ships that still somehow float... mostly, and move... most of the time. The have all been renamed and are now tasked with policing the indefinite blockade of outside ships, except those with explicit permission to enter.

Foreign Relations: Phenaerum has been semi-isolated for quite some time, as such her foreign relationships are poor. Only the most needed materials are imported, and any foreigners entering the country are closely watched and restricted. The borders are heavily guarded and fortified, making illegal access difficult.

History: Phenaerum's known history stretches back for about 500 years, when a larger empire broke apart. Phenaerum is the last remaining remnant of this once glorious empire. At first, the Government was Imperial, much like the Old Empire's government. Phenaerum was left in a bad spot after years of civil war that lead to the breakup of the OE, as such her people forged a very strong kinship as they fought for years to quiet unrest and get the nation's ruined infrastructure back into shape. Phenaerum has been involved in only 10 wars, all of them victiories, though all of them were fairly minor fights. Phenaerum entered partial isolation after her last war, in 1890. When it ended in 1894 with a Pyrrhic Phenaerin victory, the Government cracked down on foreign policy and the country's already slow modernization about ground to a halt. The restrictions have not changed, in fact they have gotten even stricter as time goes on, though this is being disputed by an ever-growing movement to end the isolation and finally modernize the country.

Name: The United Territories of Civitas (UTC)

Government: Single Party Republic

Economy: Free Market

Population: Aprox 4,000,000,

Society: The UTC’s society is designed for foreign involvement due to the free market as well as their expansionist nature. Despite being on an island they are always looking for ways to influence the mainland.

Military:
The National Guard: 150,000 men. The National Guard is made up of those who can afford to buy weapons. The army is split into three brigades each of which is organised and run by a Chief General. Each battalion is made up of 50,000 men and 5 Regiments, each with 10,000 men. The poorer men of the army normally buy themselves basic rifles and make up a majority of the men, the next up on the ladder of wealth are the men who can afford a basic machine gun, they normally lead a squad of riflemen. Finally a lot of the more wealthy arm themselves with Anti-Tank rifles, these are rare and expensive making them valuable with only around 50-100 available in each battalion. Each battalion also puts their money together to buy their own vehicles. The first Battalion invested their funds into a mixture of armoured people carriers and heavy machine gun half-tracks, the second battalion on tanks and mobile artillery units and finally the Third Battalion used their funds to pay for a vast array of Flak half-tracks and tanks.

The National Air Brigade: 5 aircraft. The Peoples Air Brigade is a fairly dismal affair. Having been poorly invested in and poorly maintained the UTC has found themselves with relics of planes desperately in need of repair however nobody wants to invest.

The National Sea Contingent: 30 Ships. The National Sea Contingent is possibly one of the finest around. Being an island nation protection from sea is of the utmost importance and so many of the leading politicians and business owners invest vast amounts to keep their nation safe and their shipping lines open. The navy is made up of 4 classes of ship. The ‘Victory’ style flagship is similar to a Great Powers Battleship however it is slightly less advanced, this means that despite having a number of gun batteries, thick armour and a fairly strong engine it is still quite slow and difficult to maintain. the UTC only has one of these. The second class is the ‘Joy’ class Interceptor ship. This has a number of small mounted machine gun style turrets and a little armour. As well as this it has a a large engine, it is mostly used in taking out smaller gunboats and harrying the enemy. They have 12 of these ships. The third class is the ‘Dragonfly’ class, this is a ship designed for surface to air combat. It has 4 mounted flak cannons as well as some basic mounted machine guns for dealing with rafts and much smaller ships, these are the least armoured of the ships and so normally travel at the heart of a fleet to avoid unneeded combat. The UTC sport 8. The final class of ship is the ‘August’ which is a smaller version of the ‘Victory’ and is designed for larger ship to ship combat, it sports 2 batteries of cannons as well as a number of mounted machine guns. It's armour is average and it is quite slow. 8 of these ships are in the UTC navy.

Foreign Relations: The UTC has a good relation with United Kingdoms of Harrlow and Republic of Faliase. They are deemed ‘tyrannical’ by the Union of Free States and have little to no relations with the People's Socialist Republic and the Greater Wechsein Reich.

This seems largely good in principle, except relegating people to minor roles and having NPC controlled major powers seems to take away the potential majesty of the game.

The idea is roles similar to the Balkans, Southeast Asia, or the Midle East during the Cold War. The nation may not be as large or gandiose but can still easily become the center for politics in the world. This also takes some strain off the players if they are newer to NRPs I feel as they do not need to manage things like military equipment as much and can use the major powers as crutches in areas they are weak such as spy games.

I did not see an immediate flaws in your guys countries, I will need to read over them more thoroughly though

You do make a good point! However, your idea lacks polarization because the Cold War is an ideological war. The faux pays you have are structured on WWII nations it appears and seems to be oriented toward a more WWII theme -- of which the Balkans, Southeast Asia and Middle East were all dominated by a single power in that time.

Name: The Republic of Radom

Government: Totalitarian dictatorship, with single-party nominal parliament. All power is vested in the head of government, Roman Ilcewicz, who is the leader of the National Coalition of the Right (NCR), which encompasses political standpoints ranging from national socialism to simple monarchism.

Economy: Semi-autarkic centrally planned economy, with a heavy focus on armament production over consumer goods ("guns over butter").

Population: Approximately 9,000,000 with an 85% urbanisation ratio.

Society:

- Military -
Siły lądowe Rzeczypospolitej Radomiu: Land Forces of the Republic of Radom

Piechota: The infantry arm of the Armia Radomiu numbers some 150,000 men, organised into 15 infantry divisions of 10,000 men, each commanded by a Major-General (Generał dywizji). 3 infantry divisions make up the backbone of the 5 Armeekorps, which are each commanded by a Lieutenant General (Generał Porucznik), along with two other divisions in an Armeekorps, which usually has an armoured attachment. The regular rifleman of the Heer is equipped with a standard Kbsp wz. 1938M semi-auto rifle or Kbk wz. 1929 bolt-action rifle, three granat obronny wz. 33 fragmentation grenades, a pistol (either a Radom Arms M1935 'Vis' or Walther M1908 'Luger') and is equipped with an entrenching tool, webbing, sufficient ammunition for prolonged combat (5 magazines for the rifle and 3 for the pistol) and a steel helmet capable of resisting shrapnel from artillery shells.
A squad of Radomian infantry is comprised of 11 men: the Sierżant (Sgt.), armed with a sub-machine gun (the Pistolet maszynowy wz.39 Mors); the Korporał (Cpl.), armed with a rifle; six riflemen, one heavy machine gunner with an Ckm wz.30 7.92mm heavy machine gun, his assistant with a pistol and finally the MG ammo carrier with a rifle. There are four squads plus a platoon command squad of the Lieutenant (Porucznik) and his four staff that comprise a platoon.

Heavy support for the infantry comes at company level. Companies of four platoons will be accompanied by two further platoons: one suppression platoon of 2 mortar squads (6 50mm mortars in total) and 2 HMG squads (with 2 HMGs each), whilst another platoon of tank hunters take care of any armoured threats with grenades and ATRs.

Pancerny Korpus: The tank arm of the Radomian military is a relatively new invention. Motivated by technological advancements in armoured warfare, the Republic has funded construction of an armoured force following the introduction of large quantities of armoured vehicles by the great powers. The Radomian tank forces numbers 110 tanks, which compared to the great powers is a pitifully small number, however the tanks that the Pancerny Korpus uses are able to hold their own against enemy light and medium tanks such as the Panzer III and Panzer IV, the BT-series and T-28, the Cruiser series and the SOMUA and H35 series. The main tank of the Radomian tank force is some 65 14TP medium tanks developed in 835 (equivalent to 1936), armed with 47mm L/50 guns from the Faliasièn company Schneider and armoured with 50mm frontal hull and turret armour, 35mm at the sides and 30mm at the rear. The 14TP was developed by PZInz. in response to the developing armoured units fielded by other countries such as Harrlow, the Reich (should the Reich turn on its ally) and Faliase, and Radomian engineers decided that the existing 7TP light tank was insufficient to deal with tanks such as the Panzer IVD, the Panzer IIIE, the T-28 and the Cruiser III, and thusly began work on a new tank which would form the backbone of the new Pancerny Korpus. The resulting designs ended up in the form of the 14TP, which is capable of defeating most tanks on the battlefield, excluding very heavily-armoured tanks such as the Infantry Tank Mark II 'Matilda', whose 75mm of armour is capable of defeating even the 47mm L/50 of the 14TP. However, the 14TP is not the only trick the designers at PZInz had up their sleeve.

In response to the PSR's new KV-1 heavy tank, the Republic of Radom's designers at PZInz debated on how to best combat this - it was decided to have a competition between three companies to design a new 'heavy' tank for the Pancerny Korpus. Before, the heavy hitters of the Radomian military had been of Wechseln origin, but it was decided that the Radomian military required home-grown tanks, as supplies of tanks from the Reich had been found to be disappointing at best, and downright scandalous at worst. There were three designing teams for the heavy tank: KSUS, BBTBr.Panc. and finally, PZInz themselves. The design that came out as the victor was that designed by PZInz, the 25TP. This tank, inspired by the KV-1's use of sloped armour, is a veritable monolith of a machine, able to move at a surprisingly fast pace - 35 kph. The front armour is 80mm thick on the turret, and 50mm, sloped at 60 degrees from the vertical, whilst it is armed with a 75mm L/50 wz.28 anti-aircraft gun, which is a locally-produced copy of the 75mm Modele 28 AA by Schneider. However, as it was only recently approved for service, the production of the 25TP has been slow and somewhat troublesome, with only 15 examples produced. However, the 25TP is capable of outstripping any other tank in service with exception to the KV series.

Despite its increasing obsolescence, the 7TP light tank has not yet fallen out of service, though most of Radom's old light tank force has been scrapped. However, the Pancerny Korpus can still muster 30 7TP light tanks today, armed as they were with 37mm Bofors guns.

Pułki Artylerii: The heavy guns of the Radomian military are a mixed bag of older artillery pieces from their ally the Reich. The artillery regiments can muster 30 105mm leFH/18 L/30 howitzers, as well as 15 150mm K18 L/31 heavy corps guns, with 90 75mm LIG/18 short-barrelled infantry guns providing close artillery support, divided up into the various artillery support regiments.

Siły Powietrzne Rzeczypospolitej Radomiu: Air Force of the Republic of Radom

The Radomian Air Force is a mish-mash of various different aircraft types, though most of them are relatively modern. The mainline fighter aircraft of the Republican Air Force is the Heinkel He 112. The He 112 was rejected by the Wechseiner military in favour of the Messerschmitt 109, but the opportunity was snapped up by the Republic shortly afterwards, with an order for 50 aircraft placed almost immediately. The He 112 replaced the PZL P.11 as the Republic's mainline fighter, with the remaining P.11s relegated to training roles.

Not really, those were the hot zones of major conflict for decades. I am not referring simply to military conflict but to political, ideological, and economic conflict. There are 5 major powers playing a large game here so war is not going to be simple or cut and dry since everyone wants a cut of the pie.

It's a WIP! =D

Name: Eisenkreis

Government: Fascist Monarchy, the royal family rules through a strong tie to the national culture. There are rumors of a cult within the populace seeking to maintain stability at all times through whatever means necessary.

Economy: State-controlled in all facets.

Population: 5,857,631 with roughly 50% urbanization.

Society:

- The Faceless -

Within the Eisenkreis, visitors are always confronted immediately by the odd behaviour of the citizenry in their day to day affairs. Every citizen of the Eisenkreis spends their entire day behind a featureless mask that has only markings down the right side of the face, and opaque lenses for the eyes. It has been a long standing part of their religious views that the face of a person is the most sacred part of the body, for it is often the first seen and will most often tell the most of a person. The reason they wear the masks is because their religion teaches that to show your true face to another is the ultimate sign of trust, that you have allowed another to see you as you truly are. As such, there are two established rituals in which one may remove their mask willingly to another individual. The first is the ritual of marriage between two individuals, a private ceremony in which a blind priest oversees the couple make their vows and seals their contract. The other instance is the sealing of a deal between two people, often times large contracts which require more than the normal level of trust between individuals.

Beyond the masked appearance of the general populace, one will find the overwhelming sense of national pride at a religious level, in which the church actively participates in state run events and even helps to organize many levels of government affairs. This stems from the origins of the nation as an old theocratic power in their history, in which the church ruled the nation through the royal family. Because of this old history, the Eisenkreis still holds many very traditional stances regarding modernization of their culture, and most of the populace will only understand written and spoken Eisenkreis. Only among the higher levels of society will one begin to find learned minds that are capable of speaking multiple languages, though they will still retain their preference towards speaking Eisenkreis. Coupled with their apathy towards understanding new languages is their general intolerance of other cultures, leaving them to be notoriously difficult to work with in negotiations and diplomatic proceedings due to their believed superiority over other cultures.

Eisenkern writing is composed of a complex series of bars and dots that come together in a form of runic writing that takes years to learn and nearly a lifetime to master(Think morse code except aligned in blocks that create phrases or sentences in compact form). The Common runic form is most often used in non-visible etchings along the right side of a person's mask, using shorthand to explain that person's standing in society as well as their given name and their personal heraldry, though it is also the base written language of Eisenkreis. This use explains the standard greeting between Eisenkreis, the act of running a hand down the right side of anothers face to read their identity, as well as any intentions that person may have writ across their mask as well. Intentions are a more difficult affair to read, however, for while the identity runes denote a person's exact identity, intention runes are easy to misread, and easier still to accidently carve the wrong marking. As such, intention runes are very rare to feel, and are always met with seriousness due to the effort it takes to make a correct intention rune. There is also a third type of runic writing, that of the Oath, an ancient form that predates Common and Intention as a written language that the warrior castes used to strike fear into their enemies. Oaths are runes that define a warrior's intentions and are often binding oaths sworn before the ancient deities of the Eisenkreis, oaths that carry a spiritual significance to the bearer, and many believe that one who has no completed an oath will be borne into limbo for all eternity. Completed oaths, on the other hand, are seen as great accomplishments, often leading to the Oathsworn to be moved out of lower castes and into the higher tiers by their accomplishment. Modern usage of the Oaths are those etched upon the masks of military personnel, denoting their life-service to defending Eisenkreis against all threats domestic and foreign, and often take a more visual appearance than Intention or Common.

Another of their more traditional behaviours is the use of tattoos across the bodies of the people. Eisenkreis warriors in ancient days would often tattoo complex whirling patterns across their chest and limbs to denote their physical prowess, with certain bands detailing certain accomplishments and skills. Today, this practice is still undertaken with many commoners using tattoos as a supplement to their Common-form runes on their masks to dictate their particular skills in their trade. An old practice that is not as frequently used, is the use of tattoos to replace one's mask in the way of a facial tattoo that denotes the life of a person. People who indulge in this practice are typically reserved to the religious leaders and higher ranking generals, those who use this practice to instill confidence in the people they lead.

The community on a whole is well connected, with media only marginally controlled by the state, and for the most part community driven to provide information to the greater populace. News travels quickly because of this, and means that though some parts are separated by the mountains, villages and cities still retain close ties with family and friends. The state does run its own newspaper, distributing national papers discussing the events of national importance as well as the latest technological theories and recruitment posters for the militia. Beyond this not much in the ways of propaganda are used in the society, with most of the national pride stemming from the monarchy and the church.

Military:

- Faust Die Eisen -

Modern Eisenkreis has fully adopted the role of the armored vehicle on the battlefields of today, and as such has moved towards a military force heavily geared towards mobile warfare. The core of the Faust Die Eisen is that of the Panzerdivisions, the tank corps consisting of medium tanks such as the Panzer IV(ausf. B) and Panzer III(ausf. C), as well as reconnaissance tanks like the Panzer II to operate as forward scouts and flanking elements. With these high mobility divisions, Eisenkreis has been loathe to adopt an actual air-force, and has scaled back their infantry regiments to a mere five regiments out of the previous thirty. Those infantry regiments that remain have become something else entirely, however, for Eisenkreis has moved to change infantry tactics entirely. Fifteen years ago, an anonymous inventor submitted a design for a new type of body-armor to the Eisenkern Academies, a radical change from previous designs. This body armor harkened back to the old days of plate armor, while incorporating the more modern use of flak-vests and steel smithing. The first prototype of the armor was a resounding success, as small arms either bounced or stuck in the thick steel plates of the chest and shoulders, and those rounds that did penetrate lost most of their velocity passing through the steel plate and the protective cloth beneath. With the armor being proven, the first of the Stahl-Männer marched from the academies to defend the homeland, and ushered in the final days of the standard infantryman. Though most arms are imported from the Reich, there is rumor of a secret project underway to arm the Stahl-Männer with a more capable rifle.

- Verteidigungskraft -

<Artillery and Defensive forces to go here>

- Foreign Relations -

The Reich: Close ally, with many imported weapons and designs from this country.

Harrlow: Apathetic/Neutral, despite their relations with the Reich, Eisenkreis has no issue with Harrlow, and is open to continuing trade with a fellow monarchy.

Faliase: Apathetic/Bordering hostile, Possibly a combination of their indifference to Harrlow and their alliance with the Reich, Eisenkreis is not on good terms with this nation, though it has been stated that "As long as they stay out of our borders, we will stay out of theirs."

The Union: Apathetic, as long as the Union remains isolationist and leaves Eisenkreis to its own, Eisenkreis will follow suit.

The PSR: Despised, even before their alliance with the Reich, Eisenkreis despised this power, as their intents on establishing a communistic government directly clash with Eisenkreis' wishes to remain largely neutral. This is the only faction of the major powers that is fully debarred from entering Eisenkreis lands, with execution as punishment for defying their borders.

Phenaerum: Indifferent, not much is fully known about this group, so Eisenkreis is simply of the mindset of "As long as they stay out of our borders, we will stay out of theirs."

Civitas: Apathetic/Bordering on hostile, Eisenkreis is not found of their expansionist nature, though is not yet directly hostile towards them.

Radom: Apathetic/Bordering on friendly, due to their close proximity, Eisenkreis has had interactions with this nation before, though they have all been relatively minor and without conflict. Rumors say that there may be a possibility of a coalition forming between Eisenkreis and Radom, but it is at this point rumor.

Varcia: See "The PSR"

History:

Eisenkreis as a nation, is actually a fairly young nation, only existing as a solidified state for the last 250 years. Before the Unification Wars, the lands of Eisenkreis were dominated by the seven fortress-cities of the original tribes of the region, and before that it was merely a collection of rival tribes attempting to survive the harsh landscape. For centuries these tribes warred amongst each other, only coming together in the rare case of an invasion by outside forces, and for the most part keeping things in a state of flux. As time passed on, and warfare evolved across the world, so too did the Eisenkreis states, each of them fortifying their lands to outsiders and other states, while slowly beginning to form their own culture. Then, nearly five-centuries ago, settlers from the Reich came to Eisenkreis lands fleeing persecution, and reached an agreement with the natives that they would be accepted in return for knowledge of the civilized world. Slowly, these settlers became one with the natives and eventually established competing monarchies in each of the city-states, as well as over-turning the old religion of the region in favor of their own. This point in time marks the first known appearance of the entity called the Cult of the Hydra, and with the emergence of this organization, the Eisenkreis states took their first steps towards their first actual war.

With the monarchies put in place, and their religion established over the lands, there was a growing fear of interference from outside states, and with this fear came the feelings that an un-united Eisenkreis would fall one by one. The monarchies resisted however, and only fortified their lands more against threats from within and without, prompting the Cult to push the more powerful monarchies into acting. Only one of these city-states answered their call, the state of Eisenkern, and within a year of their declaration to unify the city-states, all of Eisenkreis was at war with itself. The lands between the fortresses became killing fields for cannon and rifle, those few souls who braved the torrent of fire from the mountains joining the mounds of the fallen with few exceptions. As the war went into its eighth year, Eisenkern realised that decisive action had to be taken, and that without making a major risk, the states would be left in too much of a weakened state even if victory could be achieved. Striking out against all six opposing city-states at once, Eisenkern forced the offensive against them and drew out the defenders into the killing fields to do battle for the last time. With the first snow-fall of the year, stability had come to Eisenkreis, and the seven states were now one.

Since the Unification Wars Eisenkreis has remained a passive force on the horizon, choosing to remain neutral of other conflicts within the region, but responding with an implacable will towards any that dare defy its borders. Their defensiveness of their borders has become even worse since the Unification, with great cannonades and artillery batteries being directed outwards, to flatten any that may attempt to cross their border without permission. Even the skies are not safe, for Eisenkreis stands guard against all threats, and has set up flak batteries atop every ridge and within every village to defy their airspace to any foreign power.

Not really, those were the hot zones of major conflict for decades.

Not in WWII. (Again, this is from the first line of your post This is a WWII era introductory level casual Nation RP).

BALKANS
-- ALBANIA: Occupied. Did nothing.
-- BULGARIA: Nazi puppet. Sent no troops to Eastern Front. Did nothing.
-- GREECE: Occupied after a short resistance against Fascist Italy. Did nothing.
-- HUNGARY: German Allies. Sent troops to Eastern Front.
-- ROMANIA: German Allies. Sent troops to Eastern Front.
-- TURKEY: Neutral. Did nothing.
-- YUGOLSLAVIA: Annexed. Did nothing.

Southeast Asia is even less important because the Imperial Japanese Army roflstomped their way through Burma, French Indochina and surrounding states all the way to Ceylon.

The Middle East's only significant action was the Anglo-Iraqi War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Iraqi_War).

it is a WWIII tech level, 1939 to be exact.

Politically the position is closer to Cold War.

Do you actually intend to join, or simply continue to protest the GM's decisions for their RP?

SE Asia wasn't important?

I suppose the British 14th army would disagree with your statement about the Japanese roflstomping to Ceylon. You know, what with re-taking Burma and attacking Malaya and whatnot. You know, under Bill Slim, the man who took a defeated army and turned it into a theatre-winning force?

Please read a history of the CBI theatre and then return here.

I haven't protested anything. Why are people on RoleplayersGuild so adverse to discussion?

Protesting would be more akin to:

"Hey you fucking idiot, I think using Cold War politics and WWII technology is retarded."

See what I did there, Alfhedil?

it is a WWIII tech level, 1939 to be exact.

Politically the position is closer to Cold War.

This is the justification I required. I shall join.

I see you being a condescending ass, but hey, it's your choice. You decided to argue with the GM over multiple posts, over things that really didn't matter. Also SE Asia is just as important, afterall, if it wasn't, then Imperial Japan wouldn't have gone after it =D

This is a fallacy. It's a circular argument.

Premise: Southeast Asia Theater was important.
thus
Conclusion: Imperial Japan went after it.

is the same as

Premise: Imperial Japan invaded Southeast Asia.
thus
Conclusion: Southeast Asia Theater must be important.

Circular reasoning doesn't work here, ma'am.
