Anyways, I also vote for option 3, though I'm unsure which category I would fall under.

I wasn't actually sure myself. Q fits quite comfortably in either category. Batman would certainly be all for having another detective in the League.

Let's go with that then. "Detective and expert martial artist" sounds like someone Batman would recruit.

Work In Progress CS.
Hoping to finsh before the IC is up and running.

Need to mainly finish up her backstory.
@BlackSam3091 if you don't mind I gonna play with the history of Atlantis and Xebel somewhat. I believe in the Silver Age Xebel was a city in Dimension Aqua. Somewhere it may have gotten changed to an Atlantean penal colony. I've only read vol 1 of the New 52 Aquaman so I do not know how Xebel has been set there nor if it's been referenced in Rebirth. So my idea is the cliche of the king died and his two sons went to war, one ruling over Atlantis and the other Xebel. Xebel lost the war and hid itself from the world until a few years ago.

Critiques from the GM and other players are welcome.

Option 3 sounds good.

This is quite a team we're assembling! Of course that puts extra pressure on me to remain relevant. You guys are like "Oh no, a situation! I'll use my immense superhuman strength/ ability to fuse animals together/ unbreakable force fields/ massive amount of wealth and resources/ sword that can cut through anything/ magical powers!" And meanwhile I'm just like "Yeah, I'll punch him, I guess."

That's cool, though! I'm feeling excited about the challenge.

Don't worry, my character is in the same boat

@Divine Darkness Now I had something for Atlantis somewhere in my notes, but I can't find them now. The jist is that before the Drench - the Atlantean's name for the great tragedy that befell them that ended in the sinking of their homes - there was seven kingdoms of Atlantis. In a last ditch to save their people the Mage-Lords of old used the Zodiac stones, seven crystals of immense mystical power, to cast a great spell to stop the Drench. They succeeded, after a fashion, for instead of stopping the sinking of Atlantis as they intended they instead managed to morph their people in to the aquatic bipeds we now know. One Zodiac stone went to each Kingdom, though three of the cities have since been lost to knowledge.

The Kingdoms that still exist that I can remember off hand are Poseidonis(Aquaman's home), Xebel, Tritonis and Thierna Na Oge.

So yeah, do that with Xebel. They could have got their reputation for being a penal colony because after they lost Poseidonis labeled them as thieves and cowards.

@DrewVonAwesome Sorry bud, I completely forgot about you. I'm not to clear on Zachary Zatanna's powers from the comics, so could you just clear me up. Is it the same as Zatanna's in that he casts magic by speaking spells backwards? I'm fairly certain that's the case from the image on you're sheet, but I just want to be clear.

On that note if I've somehow managed to miss anyone else please let me know, though I think I should be up to date OOC wise. Now I just need to work through my PM's.

Yeah that is the gist, in the comics like I said in the notes Zachary is handicapped by not being powerful enough to cast any spells on himself or another human being. Or an animal as big or bigger than a dove. Otherwise he does cast his spells vocally saying what he wants backwards. So if he was gagged he wouldn't be able to cast any spells. For this RP I decided to just say his powerful enough to handle spells on himself and such. Either way I truthfully forgot all about this RP too so...

Option 3 sounds good.

To be fair the Justice League has always been much more high powered than many other superhero teams. Even arguably The Avengers.

Alright, got Jon's sheet up. I'll be editing it later to fit in some of the stuff we figure out, @BlackSam3091 & @King Kindred. For now, though, I'm going to grab something to eat. This guy's starving.

Also, @Lord Wraith, did you see my post about Jon and Dick's possible dynamics? I figure that it'd be good to figure out before the game starts.

Well, let's see. When Bruce trained Jon to help him control his powers, he would've likely needed a "sparring" partner. I don't see any reason against that partner being Dick. I figure that that would be their introduction to each other, during Jon's teen years (which coincidentally align with Kieran's arrival). I don't think it's a stretch for Jon and Dick to have maintained contact over the years, but keep in mind that Jon was never with the Titans, or even a "hero" until after Clark's disappearance. The events of the RP are essentially his debut. So they could probably be friends, but they've never worked together on the field like Kieran and Dick might have. Does that sound alright?

Looking over this again, if the training aligns with Kieran's arrival it would be pre-Titans meaning Dick would be fairly young. So the two would have a long friendship at this point.

@The Kid Lantern B'wana Beast looking good mate, keeping it close to classic which works for me. I know I wont have to tell you to make sure the animals that he fuses should be location appropriate, so no wild lions showing up in Gotham or such like. Though what happens if one of his chimera's die, do both halves of the fused beast die too?

Gotham actually has lions, tigers, bears, AND penguins. Or did you forget about...

As far as the chimeras dying, I believe the two animals would just separate but one or both could possibly be dead depending on the injury.
