@Blandman: Some of your info seems to contradict with each other. He has "above average strength" but has difficulty wielding his extra-light sword. Just pointing that out for you for any fixes you might want to make. Other than that, accepted.

Hmm, good point. Changed it to unwieldy, seems as at his current height even the shortest of longswords would be about half as tall as he is.

So 2 more characters for other villages and my Konoha genin can be reviewed? *face palm* No problem, mate. I love creating characters but I hate the other villages in the Naruverse. I'll give it a shot though. Let me see what I can do.

Pfft, that's not important in an AU RP. It doesn't matter if Iwagakure was a nasty society in canon or that Kumogakure is meant to be some funky cloud city, they all end up getting played out the same. A better measure is the type of characters in each, not an evaluation of what they were in the show.

What LJ said is very much true, not to mention that each of the villages has an interesting history of its own. fattwan, you can check village's history on the main post in the first page, and I'm sure that will help you choose that village you want your other two chars to be at. Just a small note ^^

Personality: Shiro may seem to always be carefree and laid-back, but that's how he is most of the time. There are occasions where Shiro can get serious and become the person he solemnly desires to be. In his head, he has decided that he wishes to fight against the sinful and die a messiah. He doesn't want to get old, but that doesn't mean he is looking to die on purpose. He just wants to be remembered after his departure to the after life. Anyhow, on top of that, he does wish to grow up and have a family. He doesn't want children though, he couldn't stand a little Shiro Nagakura. He also has a rebellious side to him. He can't stand being told what to do, when he deems it erroneous. He bases his life on logic. If it isn't logical, then why do it?



History: Shiro was born into a family of cooks. His father, Yukio Nagakura, owned a small ramen shop in Konoha. It was usually full of people day in, day out, which helped bring in money to pay the bills. In that ramen shop is where Yukio met Shiro's mother, Akari. They hit it off after a decently long conversation on a Tuesday evening right before Yukio had closed shop for the night. Akari was a beautiful woman. She always dressed in the most stylish kimonos, just gorgeous. After Akari married into Yukio's family, months later, Shiro was born. He was given his grandfather's middle name in respect to the elder who passed away exactly thirteen days before Akari gave birth. The number thirteen in times represents a blessing from God. Yukio was a religious man, always going to church and such. At the age of six or so, Shiro enrolled in a nearby Ninja School. His parents didn't want that for Shiro, they wanted him to continue the tradition in the ramen shop as a cook, but Shiro refused. Yukio and Akari allowed Yukio to get into Ninja School, believing their son, after he grew up, would realize that the ninja life wasn't for him, but that didn't happen. After graduating the Academy at Konoha, Shiro ran away from his oppressing home. The decision to leave was made after Shiro got into an argument with his father. Yuko wanted his son Shiro to help his mother take over the ramen shop. Yukio at the time was sick and had to rest for weeks in order to regain his health, but during this time, Shiro was to resume his training as a newly profound Genin. Shiro refused to run the shop so his father, to teach him a lesson of respect, threw him out the house for a night. But that night was the last time Yukio and Akari saw their son. Shiro heard about the Shinchi, the First Amekage in the village hidden by rain. Despite his knowledge of Shichi, the legend stuck in his mind forever. He decided to move to Amegakure in attempt to meet the person he though was his hero. He traveled for an entire year despite the short distance between the villages. He made frequent stops, sightseeing and enjoying his time away from his family. He had no choice but to steal food in order to survive. He would occasionally sleep under a cardboard box from time to time in order to help prevent the cold. Once he reached Amegakure, he entered a slaved village. He was not able to meet Shichi because the hero had vanished the year of Shiro's arrival. Amegakure had been invaded and enslaved. Throughout this time, Amegakure trained ninja to help fight the war, though their military force was not all that strong. A year later, as Shiro continued to train, the war ended. Shichi's successor Ryoku returned with aid and managed to win back the rain village. A treaty with the Fire Country was then set afoot connecting the two nations into a mutual alliance. Now Shiro's new goal is to meet Ryoku, Amagakure's guardian.

My review :

Nice CS in general. (I noticed the Asuma inspiration :D ) But I wish you change some things.

1.) Eagle Eyes ;
What do you mean with that? He can look as far and good as an eagle? If so, then I would like to know how that is possible. We already have a Konoha clan that has such eyes, the Nimatsu's. (Roran Hawkins clan).

2.) High leveled chakra control.
Though his history is likely implying he got the training for it, which I never have a problem with, for the game balance I can't accept this. If you would say good chakra control (sounds higher than average, but yet lower than high) then I would like it a lot better. :)

3.) Custom Techniques
We always want to have some kind of weakness with a custom techniques. After looking, I only have a slight problem with Fatigue Smoke, as it implies the user can manipulate the air while your characters has no such jutsu. However, you still can have one more D ranked Jutsu (and two C ranked) and I would suggest : Wind Release : Stream

Also, as a temporary rule to fill up some voids, for now we want to direct new CS's towards Kirigakure, Kumogakure and Amegakure. If you want to have a spot in Konohagakure, then you're required to have at least two students in the other villages. This is simply to fill up the spots in them as we don't want to leave only Konohagakure full. Thanks for your understanding.

I'm under the impression they haven't left Iwagakure open for joining because there is no Iwagakure on their off site roster thingy. But it probably wouldn't be hard for you to just change all references to the Iwagakure to something else, like Kumogakure, Kirigakure or Amegakure etc.

Haha! No big deal chief, I just won't use him. I can create plenty of other characters for the correct village. I'll just save him for something else. Sorry for not giving a thorough reading to the 1st posts with the rules and shit but eh, I got it now.

So much organization... it's a bit intimidating to go through it all, but I'll try to break through.

So what's up with Iwagakure? That's my favorite out of the main ninja hubs.
Also, I see a lot of IC on the backup forum. Is this just going to be continuing with that?

Iwagakure won't be opened I think. So far the villages on the roster are open to join. The IC on the backup forum is of the previous arc. An arc where we left when the RPG crashed on December. Seeing we don't want to suddenly make a time jump without finishing it, most of us will continue to finish that arc. It will be 1.5 year before the IC that will be opened this weekend. Where everybody else of RPG can easily jump in.

A note : I am aware of most plans, but am not a GM. Just a person that hangs a lot with the GM's and often helps out with the new folk. ^^

Besides, hope that you all here also liked the Breakdown. It's like explained in the thread a kind of revived progress of what we once called the Weekly Update. If somebody wants to help or has something fun in mind, then please don't think twice to contact me. :)
