A wolf fallen under the demonic taint, like many other creatures of its kind its a Demonically enhanced creature boosting its natural abilities through the roof, and covering for its natural weaknesses while giving it new abilities. Yet giving them a weakness towards Divine blessed items and 'holy' ones.
Getting rid of a Demon is not simple, to either banish them or smack them with holy magic and items might be a temporary solution and might stop them for some time. But to truly rid the world of one, you either need to send them back to hell permanently... or to destroy their entire being including their demonic soul.
Or Sanctify/Purify, them...
More specifically:
In terms of abilities, His demonic traits have boosted his Natura abilities to a supernatural level. He's stronger, faster, and can jump higher than the normal wolf.
He's also have higher toughness and resistance to any conventional items. Meaning items that could normally hurt or kill a wolf wouldn't kill Vulgurius.
He soak bullets of any caliber and take enough damage to destroy his physical form without dying. Such things would only slow him down as it would take time for him to regrenate.
His intelligence is also heightened allowing him to actually attend a school, understand and learn things a wolf wouldn't be able too, and take human form.
His new abilities allow him to have a slight control over demonic abilities and lesser demonic creatures such as demonic crows that he keep as company at times. It also give him a small control over fire and allow him to scale walls.
In terms of weaknesses, the most obvious one is a weakness to anything blessed, sacred, holy, or specifically designed to harm demons. While the only way to,'kill' him would be by either destroy his soul, or purify allowing it to pass on freely from the demonic grip upon it.
He doesn't possess any specific resistances towards unconventional methods such as magical attacks and other supernatural abilities.

Backstory:
Vulgurius was once a proud wolf of the forest, brilliant white was his fur and he enjoyed hunting through the wilds where he lived. He lived a good life, a perfect life... one that no wolf could ever complain about. Being part of a pack, feeling the breeze through his fur and both happiness and satisfaction in life.
But it was not to remain... at the apex of his life, the very peak.. before the age's winter would fall upon him he was caught. Not by men... but by a demon wanting seeking a price. He was taken away, far far away from home where no wolf would ever wish to go. A Very sad and cruel fate awaited after that... to be tamed by a demon, to become a servant... to become tainted and foul... until his brilliant white was no more.
Then came the day, of Vulgurius's wrath... when his fur would turn black, when his eyes would glow red... when he would break his chains... and slaughter all around him..
A age of loneliness followed... stray from the world he once knew he belonged but could not return too, to learn about the world on his own. Until he stumbled upon the Yokai academy... and he again thought that perhaps he had found a home.
Bio:
Vulgurius is still a wolf at heart. Even if he had many changed in his life, his true feelings linger from the memories of running freely through the winter woods at home. Yet he feel like he cannot return there for good reason, his pack wouldn't recognize him like he are now nor would they ever accept him. He's not one of them any longer... he's a lone wolf without a pack and he intent for now to live his life accordingly.
Learning to communicate, to read and to write... many things that he once never would have imagined possible. To take on a humanoid form for convenience sake, and to learn new things. Yet the hardest lesson of all, to learn to accept himself... for all he now are, and have come to be, willingly... or not.
