I'd prefer something more akin to actual southeastern asian animals (though not exact, obviously; this isn't the real world), and not just generic jungle animals.

And I mean, do we really need gorillas and hippos if we can have rhinos and elephants? Plus gibbons! Who doesn't like gibbons?

On domesticating mounts:

I wasn't going to have those sorts of things in the RP. I know it sounds fantastically awesome to ride a tiger into battle but when push comes to shove for the lot of us it'd be beyond any of our societies. Dogs of course would be the only real universal thing for obvious reasons. The farming types can get away with cows and mules. But I wasn't planning on even having the horse show up.

I always found it a bit amusing that there are Turks and Turkmen and they're two separate (if related) groups of people. Though should we wait for you to make your own first opening post? Or should we just post once we get it down (hypothetical question; I'm not done yet)?

I'm going to be a pre-occupied and a bit lazy person admittedly; I got to report into jury duty tomorrow and I got my birthday celebrations coming out. So a first post won't be from me for a while. I need to work on a Precipice of War post too and I don't think I'm even half-way through that.

So in the interests of making sure this doesn't die in OOC limbo any of ya can post first. I'll follow up when I get a chance.

I probably won't get anything up tonight (it's late) or tomorrow (D&D day) but I should have a post down by Monday. Or I may get it down tomorrow; we sometimes get finished with our session early enough.

The Jahani used to be nomadic warriors and hunters known for the artistic totems they created, a few decades ago the Jahani became the rulers of a farming village, The Jahani give protection and in turn the Villagers give food to the Jihani, The Jahani have a rich mythology which has become the basis of a religion alongside local beliefs. 12 years ago Hakoth became the Chieftess of the land and has become immensely popular as the Face of the Village.

Do you think you could take a double look at your names and change them? I can probably see them working for the South-East Asian aesthetic I'd like to see, but it might be a bit of a stretch. As well, I'd like to see more history given to them, this is supposed to be an advanced-level RP but I can't tell if you'll be able to commit with a single-paragraph background section. Surely you can add more.

Pretty much! The whole Christian concept of marriage is clearly silly here. Particularly when partners die all the time...
