Waiting for the audio to be fixed within the assembly hall was taking a painfully long time. Watching those, that clearly had no idea what they were doing rinse and repeat the same attempts of fixing everything. The sharp ring from the microphone caused Akira to grit his teeth from irritation. Perhaps that was supposed to be a sign to them having almost everything fixed? Akira sighed as he continued to tap away on his legs, his patience slowly running more and more thin. There was literally nothing to do other than what he was doing, and talking, both of which now felt like a maximum effort activity. But then an idea struck him and he turned to look to Tomomi once more "So..." But before he could continue it would seem the audio had been fixed as the assembly began. A look of annoyance on his face, Akira turned back to face the front of the hall once more.

It was the usual yearly drivel, half-empty promises which most people would likely forget about in a month. There was of course the speech about students directing their activities to something more productive. "Like that'll happen." Akira mumbled to himself as he continued to listen. The assembly dragged on as Akira lost more and more interest merely wanting the ordeal to come to it's end. It eventually would and everyone would end up shuffling their way out of the assembly hall and back to their homerooms. "Interesting as ever eh?" Akira directed to Tomomi before getting up himself to join those making their way back to class.

The day went by with very short classes. Each break between them Akira would reach for his books and open them to a random page before deliberately holding them in front of his face to discourage conversation with his peers. Any that were not able to read this obvious sign were either ignored until they went away, or met with uncomfortable silence and blank eye contact until they decided to leave him alone. With the day ending so soon Akira wasn't really sure what to do with his time, he could just head home? Or perhaps aimlessly wonder around town to try and find something mildly interesting? He, unlike most of the other students didn't have any friends that he was intending to spend his afternoon with, but it didn't really bother him. Akira simply watched others leave as he gathered his books up placing all but one back within it. He opened the book, searching for the carefully creased paged which marked his progress, softly brushing the crease back and continuing to read. A moment of normality within a somewhat different day to what he had been used to since moving to Inaba.

Tomomi Katayama

"The only piece of ageing equipment that needs fixed around here is you, old man." Tomomi said, loudly enough to be overheard, in response to the principal's comments about 'delinquents'. If they wanted her to stop messing with people, the least they could do was have something exciting in the school. She stopped paying attention shortly after that.

Once it was done, Tomomi couldn't help but agree with Akira about the assembly's entertainment value. Seriously, she'd never been to something this boring in her life. Unless you counted the last one. "No kidding." she groaned. This place was sapping her will to live. She was going to head to class, but a hand on her shoulder tole her that one of the teachers had overheard her comments. Great. Needless to say, the lecture that followed wasn't worth it. Neither was the detention that followed.

So much talking. Talking, talking, talking. Who had half an hour to spend staring at the wall? Not Tomomi, but apparently that was what detention consisted of. So much for turning over a new leaf. She made a mental note to never attend one of these things ever again. Respect the principal, make the school proud, blah blah blah. Ugh.

Once she got out of detention, Tomomi decided to go straight home. Considering her options, she strolled out the front of the school, kicking stones along the path grumpily. In her bad mood, she didn't even notice that several of them hit her best friend Shiro as she went. She wasn't intentionally ignoring him, or picking a fight, but pushed past him on her way out, just because at this point, she couldn't be bothered walking around them.

Lectures annoyed her. Really, really annoyed her. Without even looking up, Tomomi practically snarled at Shiro. "Move, would you?" she said, not even realising who she was talking to one bit.

"Well I...don't really go out and well...who knows it might be nice...."
Sounds weird but Mint was really curious about it, sure a regular department store but with that catchy tune the play it got to be nice. A catchy tune usally means it's a good thing for him. He looked to side for a moment, he must sound like a dork for saying a department store could be nice, he really didn't want to look like one already. Then truening back he couldn't help but to be amazed on Will's story on how he became friends with Heero

A friend from another country then learning the language and actually visiting. That is really cool. He wished he would have a friend like that as a kid, maybe he should had tried being pen pals to someone. Well to late then. "That sounds cool. Heero is so cool to able to speak two languages. It must be tough" Mint said with a smile filled with amazement. Then he realized he seemed to sound like a fangirl, he doesn't know Heero at all but he is already saying how cool he was...but it was true.

He blushed embarrassingly as a tint of pink rose to his cheeks thinking how weird that went. As he was about to apologize for that the mic got fix and the principal began to talk, Mint just sighed and listened to the old man talk and did try to pay attention to only end up doozing off a couple of times.

-------------------------

The whole day went by pretty fast actually, thought Mint got to admit in lessons he cant help but to doze off it just feels different learning in anew environment with new people also the teachers lack some energy in them so it makes it hard to really pay attention bite surely he will learn to handle with it. Also he seemed to end up talking to a lot of people well people talking to him actually since he never actually engaged himself a conversation with others.

Like quite a few guys talked to him, asking where he was from and such and even wanting him to hang out with him after school though he already told he got plans. They were really nice though as expected they did call him a she...well that happens when you do kind off look like a girl. He did want to explain to them bit they were talking really nicely and it didn't seemed like a good time to do so.

So he walked towards the entrance of the school after putting his shoes on and waited by the gate to see if Will already left or was we fill at school. He hope it was still okay for him to tag along he didn't want to the awkward one especially since Will and Her to are really close friends or seems.

Shiro was talking with Kubo Tatsumoto when suddenly Tomomi suddenly came up to him and demanded that he move out of his way. The tall bully growled and balled his fist up for a moment but he let it go just as he did so. He breathed out deeply and looked down at Tomomi as Kubo looked on at his boss ready to speak up if need be. "Alright fine have it your way Tomomi. Clearly you got a bug up your big butt today and since it's the first day of school I'll let it pass. Just don't push your luck I won't tolerate anymore bull shit after today." Shiro moved out of the way and immediately turned back to Kubo who asked him what he was going to do about Hashirama threatening them the other week. "We'll beat his ass if he tries too don't worry Kubo. We're the baddest fuckers in this school no way Hashirama and his gang of lackies even have half our collective balls let alone the fact that half his gang is made up of the skankest girls this side of town. We'll win no worries." Shiro grumbled to Kubo as Takahashi mumbled something to Kubo who responded quickly that no matter what happened he had his back. Shiro's group was tightly knit and none of the trio would just let the others harm the others. In comparison many people saw Hashirama as the solo head of his little group of bullies. If Hashirama left or stepped down or stopped then the whole group would break apart. Hashirama though had more people who would do anything he asked. Rumors say he sold drugs to city kids and other students in town.

It didn't take long before Will spotted that Minto was hanging out near the gates. He waved to her and smiled as Heero looked over to her and then back too Will before shrugging. Heero quickly followed behind clearly confused about the matter as Will came up to Minto he grinned at her. "Hey there Minto how's it going? We still good to head down to Junes?" Will asked as Heero suddenly spoke up as he came up to Minto and looked at her up and down. "You're another new kid? Where are you from?" Heero asked bluntly as Will looked over to him and groaned, "Oh come on dude you can at least say hi." Will told Heero who shrugged, "Seems like a legitimate question to me really." Heero said in a matter of fact way with a shrug. He didn't say it in an antagonistic way but at the same time he did seem genuinely found the fact odd that yet another new kid was coming too their quiet little town.

Having idly read at his desk for sometime, Akira creased down the corner of his currently page before softly closing the book with a sigh. Gathering his things and placing the book back in his bag, Akira slung it over one shoulder and headed out of the room. The corridors were almost completely bare, most already having chosen their destination for that afternoon. Akira was not longing to stay any longer himself as he began to make his way back down to the ground level to leave the school. The lack of other students made this process certainly quicker and a lot more comfortable for himself as he made his way to the shoe lockers to change his foot ware. Akira glanced out of the windows towards the gate, time for another daily ritual of his.

Akira stepped outside as he headed toward the gates, trying to avoid the unwanted attention of certain individuals that would often hang around this area. There was still plenty of time in the day and Akira didn't particularly want to waste it going back and forth with petty insults against some self proclaimed 'cool kid' or Shiro for that matter. Perhaps he could wonder the streets for a while for anything new in town, or he could just swing by Aiya's and get some good chow. Decisiveness wasn't exactly a strong suit for the aimless wanderer, but when you have this much free time who really needs decisiveness?

Minto turned to see Will and his friend walking towards him when he called out. He gave out a small wave and nodded as he was pretty excited to see Junes as weird as that sounds. The commercial song is really that catchy for him. Then Will's friend Heero looked at him and asked if he was another new student and where he was from. He didn't understand why Will groaned at that well it just a question nothing wrong with it. Well maybe the tone of his voice seemed a bit blunt but nothing wrong nonetheless. He shook his head with a smile as he wasn't bother by it and answered his questions.

"Yes I am new t-too, I moved here from Tokyo." He offered his hand to Heero for a friendly shake. "I heard that you dont really get much new students here so I understand the questions." What he heard from the other students that is was true that it sort of rare to get a new kid in the quiet town, he can understand why so though as they say not much to do here but really there can be a lot done here. Also he was guessing because of the kidnappings so anyone new could end up looking suspicious but he cant hurt a fly at all...the fly would hurt him back instead. "It actually really nice here, calm and quiet than the faced paced life in Tokyo."

Tomomi Katayama

Tomomi glanced up when Shiro basically growled at her. "Oh, it's you. Suddenly I'm a lot less sorry about yelling." she sighed. She couldn't tell if he was trying to make her angry with his comments, but decided to just laugh it off, an annoying smirk coming across her face. "Although my butt's perfectly fine, thank you very much. Trust me, I've been told before."

With a light laugh, she turned and started heading down the path, waving at him over her shoulder. She slowed down once she was a few meters away. To be honest, Tomomi didn't feel like going home right away, 'cause she'd just end up with another lecture about getting a detention or something. She sat down on a bench a little way down the path. There wasn't much in town, of course. Maybe she could just get something to eat?

Aiya's sounded good, actually. Yeah, they always had good stuff, and pretty cheap for how much there was. With a nod to herself, she started walking down the path. It wasn't raining, so she couldn't get the Beef Bowl - which she was going to finish one day, dammit - but they had plenty of other food. She was pretty sure that they had ramen or something. Ramen sounded good to her.

Shiro had decided to ignore Tomomi's further taunting as they left though he did smack Kubo over the head when he tried to sneak a look at Tomomi's rear end when she left. "Have some self respect you dip shit." Shiro growled at him as the trio continued on with their business. The kids around Tomomi flatly ignored her but there were a couple whispers from the new kids wondering if the school was really full of hot heads like her and Shiro. Hashirama sat on top of the gate looking down at the kids exiting as he spun a wooden Kendo stick in his hand with a dirty look at Shiro on occasion.

As Tomomi made her way towards the city and towards the opening of the market district she was suddenly bumped into by a younger girl with blonde hair as she made her way through the city. Nothing was missing afterward but the girl hadn't apologized and had kept running with her arms stretched out laughing and chuckling. No one otherwise bothered her on the way there. However as she went further in she saw some police moving about, some students talking, and the general fuss of the house wives buying food and the merchants doing their thing. A couple of kids from school where even convening in a nearby shop probably buying sweets. However one thing was clearly different: a man in a white hoodie covering his eyes, a deck laid out in front of him as he was shuffling a set of cards about. The man looked up and smiled as Tomomi neared, "Excuse me miss. You don't seem like you have anything better going on at the moment. Would you like a tarot card reading? Free of charge of course, this is just a hobby of mine. And don't worry this isn't some stranger danger incident like the stuff going on recently. As you can see the cops are about. And before you as like the last couple kids did this hoodie is just hiding a bad scar of mine." The man said but it was clear he was a younger individual by the size of his body and his tone. "Of course I understand if you don't want to. Some people are...afraid of the super natural." The individual said with a sly chuckle. "Oh and what about you over there too young man? Would you like a reading too?" asked the individual as he turned his attention to a boy named Akira from the same school as Tomomi and waved him over reciting the same shtick he gave to Tomomi.

====

"Well how about this then: I'll show you the town. Doofus over here told me you would like to head over to Junes. I don't know why though. Tokyo has a bunch of bigger malls than the one shop we got here. People were giving a big hubbub over it taking business away but it stabilized last year. Come on let's just get going so I can get home and chill." Heero said grabbing Will and Minto's hand as he led the two of them towards the mall. Will tried to pull his hand out of his hand but failed too do so. "Come on dude I'm not three!" Will growled as Heero laughed, "Really? Because I still got to show you around town until you actually get the layout of this place under raps. Come on Minto hurry up or you'll trip over your skirt." Heero said as he ushered the two of them along on their way to Junes.

It took a bit longer than expected for Heero to get them all there and he had let go of their hands by the time he had arrived there with the other two lagging behind him. It was a rather simple day at Junes it seems as no one was inside the store aside from a handful of shoppers. The medium sized mall had a few people eating outside, the shoppers inside, and a small parking lot outside. Overall it seemed like nothing out of the ordinary for a shopping mall except for the fact that it was in the middle of a small town like Inaba. "This seems underwhelming." Will grumbled to himself as he stood next to Minto.

Tomomi Katayama

Tomomi had been walking towards the town for a couple of minutes when someone clattered into her. "Hey, watch it!" she called after the girl. Seriously, some people didn't look where they were going at all. Unless... No, she wasn't a pickpocket, since as far as Tomomi could tell, none of her stuff was missing. Girl was way too cheery about it, but Tomomi didn't want to ruin her good mood, so she didn't yell anything else.

She paused when the weird guy in the hoodie started to talk to her, glancing at his cards. She was about to laugh in his face when he offered to give her a card reading, but then he said one thing that changed her mind completely.

"Some people are... afraid of the supernatural."

Well, she couldn't have that, could she? Who did this joker think he was, acting as though she'd be scared? She was Tomomi Katayama, and she wasn't scared of anything, least of all some stupid magic cards! Especially ones that some stranger was shuffling about, acting all mysterious. With a slightly offended look on her face, she went and sat in front of him. Pointing her finger at the guys face - or at least the front of his hood, she narrowed her eyes.

"Listen here, I'm not scared of any supernatural stuff, got it? You know what, I'll prove it! Gimme your card reading, hoodie guy. Doesn't freak me out one bit." she grinned, looking slightly smug - completely having forgotten that this was probably what the guy had wanted in the first place. But he'd basically challenged her, right? She didn't back down from a challenge!

Akira had been just casually plodding along as he made his way towards town, seeing Tomomi ahead of him he slowed his pace to avoid having to walk alongside in some awkwardly forced social scenario. This would be how things would remain pretty much the whole route as Akira did what he did all the time, minding his own business as he strolled. Up ahead, he heard Tomomi yell something as he barely sidesteps out of the path of a charging child. He merely glared as the girl ran past softly growling in his throat. "Damn kid should watch where she's going..." He mumbled as he continued to walk toward town.

Then someone called out to him and Akira un-naturally stopped. It wasn't a voice of a person he recognised which made it somewhat harder to ignore. Glancing over he saw the hooded man and that he'd managed to grab Tomomi's attention. By the sounds of her words it would seem that he'd worded the offer to her in the form of a challenge, which of course she wouldn't refuse. An interesting tactic for some stranger to implement without knowing them. Akira contemplated his options, there couldn't be any harm in right? Akira rolled his eyes as he approached the tarot reader. "Fine..." is all he says as he adjusted his bag strap and nods in acknowledgement to Tomomi.

Akira was in the very least a bit sceptical of these kinds of people. He didn't really believe anything they said to be true. But given this is the first time he'd seen such a thing in Inaba he was most definitely intrigued. It was just a matter of making sure he wasn't here to try and feed him and Tomomi some Bull shit spill and then try to convince them to pay or 'donate' after receiving the reading.

"Oh ho! Then that means we have two challengers willing to test their whims against fate itself it would seem? Interesting. Now then let's see what's up shall we...you first girl. Let's see what fate has in store for you shall we?" The individual said with a chuckle as he ran his hand across the table to clear away some dust that had settled. He proved that there was nothing up his sleeves for the future before he turned his attention to the deck. "I'd like to inform you that none of this is guaranteed. Fate IS changeable I promise you. But for many when you see a path before you set...the person tends to follow it per say. Sometimes out of a subconscious motion or perhaps because you know your path." the kid said as he ran his hands through the cards and shuffled them four times before being happy with them he laid them out on the table for Tomomi. And told her to pick from 6 cards and once she did he flipped them over.

"The first card describes how you feel about yourself at this moment...let's see shall we? Ah we have the strength Arcana. You feel that despite the challenges you have been faced with in the past, present or future, you will find the strength and courage to succeed. Whether you are recovering from ill health, a broken marriage or relationship, or challenges at work, you will find the willpower to come out on top. If you are looking to give up any bad habits, such as smoking or drinking for example, this is a good time to do it. Congratulations young miss." The boy said with a smile as he went onto the next card.

"Oh my...this one I'm not too certain about though it represents what you want most. And you have chosen Death: The Death card suggests that what you most want at this time is absolute change, to end what you no longer want and start anew. You may desire to transform your career or your love life, perhaps your whole lifestyle in general. However radical such changes might be, embracing them will help you grow in wisdom and experience. Perhaps I was wrong about you or maybe not." the boy said with a change in expression that was confusion. He had not pegged the girl for something like that.

"Oh my...this is quite telling indeed. Your fears are on the table now. And they tell a lot about you miss. It reads the hermit: You are worried about being on your own and afraid of loneliness, and you simply don't know what to do. Take the time to relax and eventually you will have the answers. The Hermit signals a warning not to make hasty decisions, so try not to get too stressed, and if you have been unwell this is a time for rest and recuperation. The hermit is indeed an interesting card for this category. May that advice treat you well miss." the man said with a friendly smile.

"It seems we're onto what is going for you at this moment. I hope that it's good! I always like doing this part. Seeing the bright side of things is better than the dark. And it would seem...oh my...I...I wasn't...you're very interesting miss. I must say so indeed. You have picked judgement: Brand new potential, an opportunity which once given must not be ignored, a new project, decision or relationship that could affect the rest of your life - all are indicated here. You will enjoy success and enjoyment for past efforts, events will pick up a pace and the outcome will be quicker than expected. You're bound for an interesting fate indeed."

"Now we shall take a look at what is against you. Simple enough. Let's see here...what do we have? Huh? There we have it. You picked The Fool: Beware of impetuous and impulsive decisions, they could cost you dearly. Draw on your knowledge and experience. Perhaps there are naive and immature beliefs behind your current desires. Are you looking to move onwards and upwards or run away? Look before you leap, you don't want to appear the fool do you? Only you can decide for yourself what you will do." The boy said as moved onto the next card without too much of a feeling on the matter but it was clear he was much more interested in Tomomi then when he started.

"NOW we have the final card. This is the future the all important card. The likely outcome comes forward....and we have...the Fortune: Expect life to change - and quickly. Fate, destiny or synchronicity, call it what you like, positive change and good fortune is evident here. If you have important choices to make trust your intuition. Do you feel that events seem to be evolving without much input from you? If so trust it and go with the flow." the boy said as he brought the remaining cards back into his deck leaving the cards out in order from first to last as he had addressed them. He then looked up to Tomomi. "Alright how about it then miss? How did you think your storied fate turned out?" the boy said as he smiled at her as he waved his hand in front of the cards.

Tomomi Katayama

Tomomi looked a little surprised. Those readings, at least the ones about what she wanted, seemed... Strangely accurate? It was the last thing she'd been expecting - she'd sat down waiting for him to mutter some magic words and throw a couple of meaningless things at her. You know, 'I see good luck in your future' or something. Not some kinda personality breakdown.

Covering up her surprise effortlessly, she laughed. "What can I say, magic man? Full of surprises, that's me for sure!" she said. Thinking over the other parts of her fortune, she shrugged.

"I mean, Strength sounds good. And I guess I'm always up for opportunities, so Judgement's alright too. I mean, wanting Death sounds kinda dodgy, but if it's about changing things up then that... makes sense... kinda." she trailed off a little at the end, basically mumbling the last sentence about the Death card. After taking a moment to think, she grinned again, although it was slightly forced if you looked closely.

"What else was there... Oh, Fortune sounds exciting at least! Positive change is good, for sure. And I could see where it's coming from with the Fool 'cause I guess I can be a little 'unpredictable' - that's a direct quote by the way - at times. But life's just too short to sit there and plan for every little thing!" she leaned back in the chair, with a look on her face that was just a little less relaxed than usual.

In going over the cards, she'd said nothing about the Hermit. That one had hit a little too close to home for her, and she really didn't want to say anything on the subject. Not that she believed in this stuff or anything, even if it had somehow hit really, really close. Coincidences happened sometimes.

Still, she didn't want to ignore it completely, or he'd really think it had bothered her. "But, uh, I dunno where you got the Hermit thing from. I'm good with that, you know? I can handle being by myself, it doesn't bug me. Not at all." she said, although it was obvious that she was protesting it a little too much.

"Anyway, thanks for the reading, hoodie! Pretty cool, I gotta say." she stood up, turning to Akira, grabbing him by the shoulders and basically pushing him in to the seat. "Okay Akira, it's your turn now. You don't even gotta talk if you don't want to, so it suits you perfectly! Think I'll stick around and watch, if it's all the same to you guys."

"Of course...of course. The readings may be incorrect, or perhaps a lie. Maybe some would be better than others. And please don't call me 'hoodie' if you need a name you may call me Samuel." the boy said with a smug smile as he prepared himself to take on a new challenger. He turned to the boy, Samuel's eyes still obscured, and grunted. "Oh this should be fun..." Samuel said not all to enthusiastic about his new charge. Still what was offered can not be taken back. He took the cards back from the table and put them back into the deck. He then shuffled the deck six times and prepared himself for the new challenge of reading this boy's fate. Once done he laid the cards out just like he had before and had Akira pick a set of cards like he had done to Tomomi. "Alright then 'Akira' let's see what fate has in store for you." Samuel said with amusement.

However as he picked up the first card Akira had picked a laugh had to be immediately suppressed by Samuel. He looked at the card and shook his head. "Perhaps I am not as good as I thought I was. This is clearly wrong. The card that represents YOU. How you feel about yourself is The Lovers Arcana: You want love or a new love in your life and a new relationship is in the offering. Even if you are not thinking about love, you're in for a surprise. If faced with a choice it is an important one and could affect the rest of your life. Who knows maybe it's not love but a surprise." the boy said with a shake of his head.

Once he had regained his self-composure he had decided to move onto the next card. "Now then...let us see what is on the plate for what you want right now. It would seem that you have chosen....what? I...I don't understand. The Magicians Arcana? What you most want is a new love in your life, and when The Magician appears, a new love affair or perhaps a rekindled affair is at hand. All things new are possible, the result is up to you - it depends on just how much you want it. I honestly don't know what to say. I'm sorry." Samuel said shrugging as he looked on preparing himself for the next card hoping this trend of 'love' would stop.

"However it is now time to move on from something other than...the last two. We are now onto your fears. Take heed of their words. This card tells a lot about a person. Hmmmm....fair enough. You've chosen The Chariot: The word failure isn't in your vocabulary. You are worried things are more of a struggle than you expected, with more delays and frustrations. Things aren't going according to plan at all - just chill out, calm that mind of yours and you'll find the strength to battle on until you succeed. This is a period of movement and change and conflicts ending in victory. That sounds much more like it." commented Samuel as he finally took his job much more seriously than he had the previous two cards.

"NOW then what is going for you exactly? I could only wonder what is up with you right now. Let's see shall we? Your ally shall be....and it is....oh....oh my....I apologize for your fate. You have chosen The Devil Arcana: There's a possibility of permanence here. If you're considering a commitment in a relationship or marriage this is a good sign. However, question your motives because here we have temptation and addiction, and a desire to be controlled or controlling. So use your intuition and if you recognize what you feel as being sincere, great. If not you still have a chance to change direction. If considering giving up a bad habit, such as smoking or drinking for example, now is a good time to start. I would take heed of the devil because he knows inner darkness." Samuel said slightly perturbed at the choice of card.

"Now moving onto the fate against you. Perhaps you'd prefer not to coutinue on but I don't like half finished tales. Shall we see what is fate's decree? Bizaree indeed....the arcana chosen was The Sun: You may experience a few delays on your quest for success and achievement but don't worry, you'll get there in a blaze of glory. Success may go to your head a little, so a bit of modesty wouldn't go amiss. Other than a few minor delays, look forward to a period of joy and happiness. If you are experiencing problems with conceiving a baby, The Sun often heralds good news around children and a much wanted pregnancy or birth of a longed-for baby. This fate of yours is weird...I fear I may be picking up on someone else's fate. But you chose the cards not I." commented the boy with a confused expression.

"Finally the last card. The expected outcome...what shall be your ultimate fate if you coutinue your trek? It would seem that the card chosen was....yes this can't be right....The Empress was chosen...: This is a truly creative and fertile time. Expect the best if you are considering having a child, creating a new job or business opportunity or starting a creative project. The Empress symbolizes abundance, joy and happiness, and reassurance - a firm foundation for future progress. I...I guess this is a good thing?" commented Samuel as he turned the cards in order towards Akira. "I...I don't understand. Either I am completely wrong, or I mired someone else's future with yours. Still these were the cards chosen. But I could try again if you don't like this one. I don't usually do re-do's but I don't understand these ones." Samuel said with a very uncomfortable grimace as he tapped his finger on his table.

Akira watched on as Tomomi's reading was done. From what little he did know of her it did seem to make sense and all add up. Even Tomomi had admitted the accuracy of most of the cards, although not directly admitting to the hermit reading it would appear it was on the mark but had hit a nerve with her. Maybe this wasn't some con after all? As Tomomi stood and 'guided' Akira to the seat there was the soft objection of "Hey." before he ended up planted on the seat. He sighed as he watched the hooded man reshuffle and reorganise his cards before picking one of the sets at the appropriate time."Fate can't be any more surprising then the differences in today, go ahead."

Akira nodded his head, somewhat sarcastically in agreement of the first card being wrong. Maybe the reading Tomomi had received were merely coincidental and this fortune reader wasn't as good as he'd have them believe. The drawings continued in this fashion with each card being accommodated by this 'Samuel's' comment of inaccuracy and Akira either shaking his head at the reading of the card or nodding in agreement of it being far from the truth right up until the very conclusion. But could such a thing bare even the slightest relevance to him? Probably not, Akira couldn't even think of a person that this sort of reading could even be true for.

He looked to Tomomi with a small smirk. "Well... I guess it was free at least." he comments before something that Samuel said regained his attention. The offer of a second try of getting an accurate reading. To be fair making a more accurate reading than the first one wouldn't exactly be difficult, but could he really be bothered to sit through it all again? Akira stared at the cards as he contemplated it, before looking to Tomomi and giving a small shrug. "Sure go ahead, you sticking around for this one too?" Akira asked, this wasn't exactly an activity he'd usually partake in. After all sometimes it's best not knowing what fate has in store for you.

"Yes this is free I said so. However there is such a thing as being POLITE to the person giving you a free service. I thought this culture was all about respect. Whatever I'll see if this reading is better. I'll focus once more see if I can clear my thoughts. Distractions mired fate's eyes in some occasions. I am only a reader of these cards not an actual foreseer. Anyways onto the actual details shall we?" Samuel said rather put off by Akira's attitude towards him.

Once again the process was repeated.

The first card is Justice: You are feeling that things will go your way. You believe in fairness and justice in all things. If you are considering partnership issues, personal or professional, dealings will go well. Perhaps you are about to sign a contract or legal document - this will be beneficial to you. If someone has done wrong to you it will be put right and you will feel justice has been done. I believe I am on the correct trail this time. However as I have told you before any cards you have chosen were chosen by YOU. I'm merely the dealer." Samuel grumbled as he moved onto the second card.

"Now then onto number two....You have chosen Strength: The cards suggest that what you most want at this time is to find the strength and willpower to see you through and achieve what you want. It is important to come from a place of love and tolerance though, not aggression. Put your fears to rest and develop a positive attitude and you'll reap richer rewards. A fine card for this place." Samuel said simply as he flipped over the third card.

"I have see you've chosen an interesting card for three. The Empress once more: You are feeling insecure, perhaps have money worries, concerns. There are people around you who love and care for you and they will give you support. Try not to be overprotective and do not resort to emotional blackmail, it won't do you any favors. I don't believe the empress is correct here but I suppose what fate wills it to be it shall be. Maybe there are people you aren't paying attention to that care for you." Samuel said with indifference.

"We shall find out what's going for you....hmmm this is wrong too I believe. You have chosen Temperance: You are about to enter a period of peace and harmony in your relationship, career or life in general. You will find a way of handling difficult circumstances with calm confidence. Life is flowing at this time - enjoy it. You are by far the least temperant person I've met today." Samuel grumbled as he moved onto the next card.

"The Emperor graces you as your challenger for the next card: You may be overambitious at this time. Success may remain just out of your reach for a while. Are you being assertive and positive enough? Or are you using aggressive, bullying tactics to no avail? Do not misuse your authority. If you have requested help from a strong, successful man don't let him bully you - he either helps or leaves you to get on with things yourself. This sounds MUCH more correct than the last two. It fits you like a tie."

"And here we go....let's see? The hermit is the likely outcome chosen by your hand: This is a time for you to be alone or may herald a time of loneliness. Take this time for quiet introspection and rest. Don't worry, you will find the answers, but the Hermit signals a warning not to make hasty decisions. If you have been unwell this is a time for rest and recuperation." commented Samuel as he laid the cards down in order once again and laid back in his chair hand sup in the air. "If you have a problem with this one that is your problem. I believe I am much more correct this time around then before. There is a definite truth in these cards than you may be willing to admit. The next words out of your mouth, I guarantee, are you complaining about either my service, my attitude, or how incorrect these readings are. Go ahead if you want to say so I don't care. However I take pleasure that at least the young lady over there took something away from these cards." the boy who called himself Samuel said indifferently and calmly as he shuffled the other cards in the deck around while he waited for a reply.

Minto Hanataba

"Well...I think its cool, Junes has that nice song to it y-" Mint was only able to mutter out embarrassedly until Heero took his hand as the same as Will and lead them to Junes. He got to admit that Heero was sort of right, Tokyo was shopping central and he knows that with the amount of clothes he bought before moving. It was just well he got to admit it was that song that made Junes sound so nice and he didn't go out a lot so who knows really. "Okay..." He sighed letting hero drag them along with an annoyed looking Will which he got to admit looks pretty cute. heir friendship had something adorable in it.

As Heero continued to drag them along to Junes by their hands Minto took the time too look at the town's site. Really it seems so peaceful and quiet he couldn't expect a kidnapping event happening there at all. He bit his lip thinking about it, hopefully those people would be safe, it just seems so weird for that to happen in a quiet town. Well thinking again with some movies a quiet town is a perfect scenario for such things! When they got there it was the so called supermarket feel to it, people eating at the side and shopping. It was very plain and as Will said underwhelming but for Mint...

"Really? I think it has some charm to it." He giggled not at all fazed on how boring it actually seems. He was able to find some charm into this supposed boring place. He wasn't sure what was it. Maybe because he really didn't go out at all.... "Anyway thanks Heero for showing us, is there anyway I can repay you?" He asked with tilting his head in a cute manner. If someone does something nice for you it is always nice to pay them back as what he usually does.

Akira watched once more as Samuel went through the cards chosen, giving each its accommodating definitions. Unlike the first run it would appear this set would bare fruit. The first card definitely held some interest 'Justice' the definition would give an interesting perspective on his school life at least. A small nod to himself at the end of Samuel's reading of the card. This man was clearly skilled at what he does, first Tomomi's reading was accurate and now this second reading of his didn't look like it'd be far off the mark. Akira tried to the push the thoughts to the back of his mind to try and concentrate more on the readings being made.

Each card would be read in turn, though there was some accuracy there was also some inaccuracies. However, with the scrambled mess that Akira's mind sometimes felt it was hardly surprising that the reading wasn't exactly on the mark. He felt the Hermit card very much matched his lifestyle of choice with him choosing to be alone a lot of the time. "Interesting..." Akira spoke to Samuel, his tone different to before. "Definitely food for thought, in these cards at least." Akira picked up on the final comment that Samuel had said to him. "Perhaps, if the reading was inaccurate once more. I apologise for my earlier words, but I cannot for how they are perceived. Bluntness may be opposite side of the ugly coin that intentional rudeness resides upon. But it is not as easy a trait to drop."

Akira intentionally avoided going into any detail as to how he felt the cards matched up with him, but Samuel had been more or less correct with which ones he thought had matched and not matched Akira's personality. He rested his hands on the table and pushed himself up to his feet as he watched Samuel re-shuffle his cards ready for the next patron. "Although I'm sure it was a pleasure, may the cards ever be in your favour." Akira pulled at the strap of his bag as he turned ready to walk away before looking over his shoulder to continue. "May fate not deal you cruel hand." With that Akira glanced, and nodded to Tomomi before heading off, making his way to Aiya. He was already hungry without having to think in depth about his reading and he was ready for some good food to round off the afternoon with.

"Very well I accept your apology at the very least." Samuel said as he quickly brushed his hand across the table accidentally knocking the 'hermit' card off the table forcing him to get up and pick the card up. "Well then if you're going already then I bid you a good day." Samuel said as he put a hand on Akira's back. For the slightest of moments a strange feeling ran down Akira's back. Samuel then put the card back into his deck before shuffling it and sitting back down. He simply sat there as he looked at his deck and wondered about something in his head. He then looked up to Tomomi and offered his hand. "It was nice meeting you Miss. I hope you have a good day." Samuel commented politely as he held his hand aloft.

"I wouldn't want to be in his debt. Personally I think that's a death sentence." Will said as he looked around the mall and pointed out that the food stands weren't very occupied. "Alright keep laughing it up jackass. Whatever food sounds like a nice plan. How about this for repaying me? You pay your own bill so I don't need too feed you and sir jerkass the third over there." Heero grumbled as Will replied quickly enough, "Well screw you too bro. I can understand enough Japanese that I can understand the word for jackass." Will said in English as Heero stifled a chuckle. "Don't worry we're just messing around vulgar humor is our sort of thing. But yeah I'll pay for Will if you don't mind paying for yourself. Sorry I don't mind paying for girls normally but I'm not really good on money right now." Heero said with a chuckle as he looked at Minto with a smile.

Tomomi Katayama

Tomomi had been holding back a laughing fit after Akira's first reading, but she'd gotten over it, keeping a halfway serious look on her face as hoodie gave the second reading. She'd zoned out a bit, but the second one at least seemed to make a bit more sense than the first. Some of it still seemed off, though, which gave her hope that hers was just a freaky coincidence. Hopefully it really wasn't some kind of supernatural stuff.

She couldn't stop herself from teasing Akira a little bit as he headed off, calling out with a smile. "See you later, lover boy!" she called, fully expecting him to ignore her. As Hoodie offered her his hand, she looked at him for a couple of seconds.

"Ya know, coincidence or not, your whole card thing's pretty cool. Nice meeting you too, Hoodie." she said, shaking his hand with a smile. It was hard to tell whether she was trying to annoy Samuel or had genuinely forgotten his name. Still, it had been a nice way to kill a couple minutes, so Tomomi was at least gonna be polite to the guy.

"Indeed it was nice meeting you too, despite the name calling..." Samuel said trying to crack a smile as he shook Samuel's hand. It felt as if a faint electric shock had gone through he hand as he gripped it and he let her go. It was clear he wasn't wearing any sort of gag-hand prop shocker either. Maybe it was just another coincidence. "Be it as it may my tellings aren't exactly wrong most of the time. The boy you called Akira is hard to read apparently. I would definitely not take what I read for you for granted. Have a nice day Miss." Samuel said casually as he grabbed his cards and started shuffling them benign to anything that Tomomi may have been feeling or wanting to ask him. He simply sat there doing what he was often to do, shuffle his cards and wait for the next person.
