@poog the pig Also, I wonder if Lifprasil would feel that Vulamera became one with the Codex. Maybe he felt a connection being severed? I would like to see that depicted ICly. Unless, ofc, he had no familial feelings for his mom.

That's up and coming in a collab

He had familial feelings for his mom, and was not happy, but in the end he gets something out of it.

@Cyclone, a question: do there exist female elementals? So far, all elementals that I remember have been masculine in form. I'm unsure whether this is a coincidence or whether it is something fundamental to their nature.

It came up in our collab, where Teknall shows his girls galbar. I think there definitely should be female elementals, this whole Nymph, Dryad, Siren and so on stick is a rich topic one could explore this way.
Like beautiful Nymphs of the Wells drowning young wayward men and stuff like that XD

Re: magic. (I believe this was for @LokiLeo789) Among mortals magic is currently very limited. Some while back Vestec divided a single vial of Astarte's magic essence amongst the entirety of Galbar's population. Mortal magics are currently weak and fickle. Divine influence can, however, make this magic stronger.

Not true actually! Before he left, Reathos' player created a horde of Mindless Undead (not to be confused with the Cursed who are the same people they were before death, just dead now.) to fight off the Corrupted pronobii.

The Rovaick Mountains need wildlife. If you don't want to I'll just have Vestec steal something with Slough's essence, seed it, and create wildlife there.

Er. @Frettzo old buddy, old pal, Mi Amigo.

I already posted that collab.

The Gneiss collab mentioned a female elemental named Notus, so they do exist. That was a while ago, but Cyclone said something along the lines of their gender being defined by their traits, with most taking after the EXTREMELY MANLY PRIMORDIAL BEING who created them.

@Antarctic Termite has a good memory

The thing to remember here is that the djinn don't sexually reproduce so there isn't a clear distinction between 'male' and 'female'. With some effort the ones powerful enough to speak could also change the appearance of their physical form, so not even looks would be much of an indicator.

Basically, whichever pronoun (he/she) you use depends on their personality. Here's a relevant snippet from Zephyrion character sheet that's applicable for the elementals as well:

Such a distinction is meaningless and cannot describe a being like Zephyrion, whose nature is akin to the eddies and gales that the god controls. The wind is tumultuous, wild, and chaotic. At times it can bring rain that nourishes and heals, but at other times it is the dauntless force that uproots mountains and scatters them like pebbles upon the wind. It is strong, wild, and uncontrollable. Some might make of it a motherly and nurturing force, but for most, it is a crueler thing and more fit to describe as masculine.

Zephyrion is my favorite gender: anti-girl, the opposite of being female.

Legit though, genders to gods should be redundant, Lifprasil isn't even masculine or feminine, just kind of... Both. I've tried to keep an equivocal amount of either in the way he talks, which tends to make him a very plain person. However, his role as an emperor will often lead him upon being... Not feminine. I think we have plenty of women to spare in his presence now, though, so not much of a loss to the strong female characters quota.

EDIT: If the Pronobii thing takes off, I'll try to add more masculine characters due to the very large amount of females. 'Sides, I wanna play a big MANLY ICE MAN. With a sword of TESTOSTERONIOS

@poog the pig Well, 90% of those females come from a goddess that has only females on her creation sheet

That will end up changing soon, though.

That's nasty. Well, I though he was a savage cause he was licking his knife but I guess not. I have an important question about Belvast, he is the portal cat right? How big are the portals that he creates?

Technically speaking he can make them as large as he wants as shown when he dropped Grot into the ocean, but the larger the portal the more strenuous it is. I had to spend might to have him make the Grot portal stay open long enough to dunk him.
