Is there anyway we might need music for this thing?

Because I want to learn how to use LMMS anyway. I started messing around with it today and just cross my mind since we got pictures and writing anyway so far.

Seems like you drew a lot of inspiration from Homestuck, I gotta finish reading it :D
Here's my attempt of a PROFESSIONAL AND FORMAL APPLICATION


Name: Jaedan

Color of choice: Very beautiful blue

Race: Human

Class: Priest/Cleric/That class that attacks with holy light and stuff

Bio: Jaedan is a name conceived by the ALMIGHTY SEER, Jaedan is a portmaneau of "Jaedas" which means JOURNEY and "Toedan" which means UNNECESSARY, those are words from the legendary ELDERSPEACH, a language so complicated that even the most wise sages stopped using it completly, because who the hell writes an overly complicated language just because it's cool? Of course it was some ELDER DOUCHEBAG who had nothing better to do, in fact, most humans are LAZY DOUCHES and you are no exception.
You then decided to go PLUNDERING. You went alone, equipped with a SILVER WAND and your high FAITH, that and also a very beautiful STEEL ARMOR, ok, maybe not very beautiful, it would surely look better if you had the HELMET, but you sold it because a BACKPACK is more suitable for adventure than a high defense stat, besides that you had to be prepared for the S1CK L00TS you should find.
After blinding guards and dealing MISERABLE amounts of damage with your SHINY SPHERES The adventure was a huge success, and you bragged for a whole week about your newfound stash of 31 SILVER COINS and a neat WATER FLASK, you went over the TAVERN to spend your hard earned oh i mean hard stolen CA$H and look for new adventures.
Ah, besides that you also tend to be clumsy and speak very loud, you often lose track of time and forget where you leave your sweet STUFF, but on the bright side you tend to be very INSPIRING, just as any Priest should be.
You obviously forgot where you put the ARMOR, so you'll use the regular PRIEST ROBES.

Side note: It was supposed to be male, o shit, it's officially a she now,

Glad to see a Cleric! I'd like you to emphasize her being a cleric more in her sheet. Even though they shouldn't be one note characters, our group should all be kinda stereotypical to their roles. If you're gonna go the elf-route, I suggest you make her snobbier and use a shortened version of an overly long name, though Svenlothienleluskarsensonseliosulusamakamakawiwosureliussorengalthesmonsurensosangiferseuronsyteras the Thirteenth is taken. Otherwise, maybe a half-elf would work? Human is also on the table if you want, I'm down to have as many humans as possible to balance things out.

Anyway, aside from that, I'd like to see a sprite on your sheet like the ones on the Character tab, but once all that's done your CS should be good to go.

I promise, IC will be up today! Music would totally be appreciated, especially in the form of 8-bit music for towns or character themes or whatever. Also, side note, I liked all the ideas PM'd to me, I just haven't had the time to respond to them separately and PM's don't have a like button to give you the "I saw this and I liked it" option. All right, so I've tweaked her application a little and magically flipped her race to human, not that she liked being an elf anyway, she would rather be a lazy human all along, I'll do a sprite once I get home (which will be tomorrow probably) and then move it to the Character tab, all good?

Also, this reminder goes to everyone, save your sprites as .png files! Saving them as jpegs compress them and add artifacts that make transparent-select pasting in MSpaint a bitch. As such, I was gonna have all of us in the first IC post, but I'll leave appearances to be pasted in as more people interact with the plot. Whether you use sprites or hero mode is up to you, just put effort into whatever you draw, details are important, etc. You're all capable.

Also, feel free to change settings throughout the RP, but realistically -- Don't jump from here to a desert, for example, but moving us into the man's hut wouldn't be too extreme of a change to make without asking me, so long as you draw the interior.

With that all said, have at it! IC is up. Go nuts.

Accepted! If you shrink him to everyone else's size and his details get all fucked up, I'd say to use the current image and gif (Big ups! I wanted to make gifs as well before I remembered I can't draw) as his heromode design and make a less detailed version for the sprite.

2. Sure! Gifs are fine, especially the 2-3 frame spaz gifs.
3. Hero mode images can be any size/angle depending on the panel. Hero mode is the catch-all term for the larger/more realistic panels.

Anyway, I'm gonna have Svenloth post first so everybody knows the posting structure, as well as examples of spritemode/heromode. Time to draw!

1. As many as you need to convey your character's action.
2. Largely irrelevant. You can give yourselves each, since it doesn't really affect the plot.
