gabriel
@lugubrious@hatakekuro
Gabriel wiped sweat and god knows what else off his face with his shirt, catching his breath, he seemed a little wide eyed but other then that seemed okay. He blinked, looking about them. "I could summon my bear to go to the General. And we could use dog to try and find a way out. He should be able to find an exit" he said, already searching for the small key they was his bear. That would make three spirits out, although Leo hardly counted-given that he had come through the gate himself. Gabriel thought he could handle it.

"they need to know what's happened to us after all, and that things here really aren't what they seem. Do you think that psycho actually did that to herself?"

He looked up above them, thoughtfully. He suspected he could summon bear up there, and hoped the overweight woman wasn't there still. He first summoned the bear in front of him, to give it instructions before closing the gate and summoning it again way up above them. He hoped it worked but there was really no way of telling.

He looked around at his companions, "is everyone okay?" between the fall and the fight, Gabriel knew he probably looked worse for wear, but he had had his spirits helping him. "no one too badly hurt?" he crouched slightly as he spoke, to check Dog over but the spirit seemed in good order.

penny
@Lunarlors34
Penny laid a hand on Jasmimes shoulder, her touch warm, perhaps a little warmer then normal, a circulating heat that seemed to come from within, "that's okay you've done well. Take a couple of deep breaths, okay? Just relax. That was good" did that mean that Jasmine had separated from her parents even before the city? There were gaps to fill, but if that was true then it made this a lot harder to do, and they didn't have days. Penny would have to be there for to events tomorrow despite her reluctance she couldn't let the guild down. They were running out of replacements.

"what about these moth and butterfly people? You've mentioned them but what are they?"

michael
@lmpkio
Michael shook his head, having never been in any such situation before. "no, that must have been my buh-buh-brother, Gabriel. We're t-t-twins. He's always g-g-getting into s-such s-s-situations" it did not surprise Michael that Gabriel had gotten into such a situation. His brother seemed to go where trouble was and try to help, but oft times he just made it worse for himself.

"he likes b-being able to h-help b-but he can g-get a little out of c-control" he looked down at his hand, where his mark was. Had it really only been a couple of months? "I'm in Dragon Fang, my brother is in Frenzy plant" even now Michael worried that that was a bad mood. Gabriel didn't seem to be doing well in the solider guild, a fact that Michael could have foreseen but there was no convincing Gabriel otherwise.

sam
@joshua tamashii
Sam frowned as the Sprite was taken from ber, but didn't try to reach for it. She looked at Amelia, "a combination of them? A different kind of spirit?" there was a small vision lacrima that was showing an image of the city, and Sam reached over to tap it, the vision changing for a brief second to what seemed to be a town some distant away, but it flickered back to the image of the city. Neither parent seemed to notice this, and Sam sat back, looking st Amelia as she waited to see if she was right.

Shiro Hime and
Cody Bloodstein

@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Roseletta
Shiro simply nodded her head at Nidhogg's scolding and looked away with a slightly guilty look on her face. It was true, she had blown their cover. Although she hadn't meant to, she was just trying to avoid a certain someone who could get in their way.
However she watched through narrowed eye now as Nidhogg began his 'negotiations' with the group. This wasn't in the plan at all.
"Manami-sama won't like this Nidhogg-sama, she wants to avoid civilian causalities if possible." Shiro's tone was an uncaring one as she reached behind of her and pulled out a strange looking cylinder.
"She won't like this one bit..." She repeated as she stared down the Phoenix Wing mages with her uncovered eye. She wasn't going to stop him if he tried, however she did feel like warning him for when Manami found out. If he did such a thing of course.
She gave Amaya a blank look as he talked however...what was the slayer going on about?
"It doesn't matter. Slayers are a threat which must be eliminated. History must not be allowed to repeat itself." Shiro's tone was venomous as her scythe began to extend itself to it's full size. Appealing to Shiro would seem to gain them about the same as appealing to Nidhogg, however it wasn't for the same reasons.

Cody felt relief wash over him as James' aura took effect. It certainly made him feel a little more at ease to know that he was here, from what he had seen so far of James (which was very little) he was fairly stronger....but did he really stand a chance against this Nidhogg guy?
Cody immediately remembered the sheer size of the dome he had made yesterday and the scale of his attacks. It was something completely foreign to Cody. Cody's own hand now went to the hilt of the sword at his hip before gulping nervously.
"I-if you want Amaya, then you're going to have to get through us." Cody stuttered slightly at the start but stood his ground now. He had only known Amaya for a short time, but he knew already that she was nothing like what these scumbags thought she was. He enjoyed her company, and he had resolved not to lose anymore people precious to him.

Sora Kaze

@Infichi
"Oh really? I've been doing this job for two years now, I doubt you have what it takes." Sora said smugly as he simply ignored the chair trailing him. He had seen some strange magic since coming to Fiore, so this was nothing new.
But he was interested in it regardless. Some form of creation magic?
"Young and fresh? Full of energy? You certainly crack me up kid. You're older than the client." Sora chuckled deeply at Verrick's comments. The kid was annoying and arrogant, however he was a rather amusing fellow.
"The name is Sora Kaze. Greatest wind mage in existence. Well on the way to be the greatest mage full stop." Sora boasted as he gave Verrick another smug look "The mission isn't mine to just tell anyone about. It's a rather sensitive topic for the client. I'll take you to where she should be right now if those idiots are following the schedule." Sora sighed as he looked at his wrist. According to the time, they should've checked into the hotel by now.
Assuming Mai was keeping the other two in check that is.

"Not many people I'm older than, sounds fun."
Verick tossed the chair down a nearby alley, he didn't appear to need it anymore. "Though two years on the same job? Sounds like you really could use a fresh young perspective on the matter." He cracked his neck and placed his hands behind his heads. This guy was a weird one, but he felt a similar kinship inside him, as if two souls of the same ilk had met one another. "Glad we could come to an agreement Sora. The name is Verick, Verick Styles, I'll become the richest and most powerful mage in any kingdom. With a castle larger than any kings." He smirked as he followed behind the older man, this wasn't his true goal or dream... But it's the one he'll tell people. He didn't trust this guy enough to even remotely begin talking about his real goals...

But he seemed like a good pawn to use on his way to becoming stronger... and richer.

Nidhogg

Nidhogg couldn't help but yawn at all of the conversation going on, cleaning his ear with one his fingers as he waited for every to speak their peace, including the two newcomers who had arrived. He then simply smiled, before turning around and walking away. He didn't say a word, gave no explaination, just started walking away as if it as completely natural. He didn't go very far, however, stopping some distance away, though still within general earshot of the group as a whole. He seemed to look around for a bit, his eyes scanning the crowd until he seemed to find what he was looking for. Turning back around, he looked completely at ease, despite how he was so greatly outnumbered.

"Amaya, is it not? Shall we continue on with your boyfriend there? You did say you would come, right? Because i wasn't bluffing about what I said. I probably won't do as much damage as I would've with just the two of you, but if you think that you can stop me from doing as I please, then you're dooming a good number of people to a rather painful end. So if anyone but those two make a move, then things here will get messy, and I'm sure the new Magic Council will love to hear why their are a bunch of corpses all over Crocus with Phoenix Wing's insignia on them. Because I'm not by myself in this city, and I can give the order with just a thought and have people killed all over the city. So go ahead and try to strike me down to possibly save this one life for a few more days. If you can do so while also knowing how many innocent lives that will cost, and how badly it will affect the reputation of your precious guild. The choice is yours."

Nidhogg smiled, mental commands at the ready for his little meat puppet, who was currently somewhere within the city's sewer, waiting for him to give the word. He was glad that he had decided to keep it around somewhere in the city, cause he could have confidence that no matter what happened, he'd get his blood for the day. Besides that, it would be interesting to see what they ended up deciding was more important: the live of their comrade, the lives of innocent civilians, or perhaps even the reputation of their own guild. He couldn't imagine it would be looked on favorably if it was revealed that the guild's members were willing to let innocents die in order to protect their own.

Sora Kaze and Ethel Storm

@Infichi
"Oh? Is that so? Good luck on it kid, you got stiff competition to be the best. Myself included." Sora sounded somewhat skeptical of that dream. A castle larger than any Kings? What possible use could he have for that? Oh well, it wasn't Sora's concern anyway. If that was what he wanted to aim for he could, the sky was the limit.
"Oh the job might take more than just fresh perspective kid. You're going to need combat ability and searching or tracking skills." Sora knew Verrick's name but was still deliberately calling him kid. Verrick reminded him of someone else when he was younger, but couldn't quite pin who.
It didn't take them too long till The Drunken Cardinal inn was within Sora's sights. Out the front was a young girl with milky blue hair sitting with her head atop her knees, almost as if she was bored of waiting for something or someone. Although they couldn't see her face through her hoodie, she was actually drifting off to sleep.
As the duo approached she half-turned her head sleepily towards them and immediately shot to her feet, wide awake now.
"Sora!" Her voice was surprisingly soft with just a hint of cheerfulness. It only took the girl a few steps to reach them before she went to wrap Sora up in a hug, however the older mage had stuck a hand out and was holding her back by pressing his palm into her forehead. The impact of running straight into his palm made her hood fall off as her blood red eyes looked up towards Sora with their usual coldness, however a glimmer of confusion could be seen.

Ethel didn't quite understand why he had stopped her. Normally he allowed her to run over and wrap around him.
"....Where are the other two?" Sora asked with a deep sigh before turning to Verrick "It's hard to find competent and not completely useless help these days." Sora remarked quickly as he already knew the answer. The slightly guilty look in her eyes now and the way her gaze quickly went to the ground gave him all the information he needed.
The three of them had gotten separated while exploring the town, hadn't they? This happened almost every time they entered a new town, no matter how bloody small it was and frankly it was a pet peeve of his.
Ethel seemed to pout slightly before noticing Verrick for the first time. Oh that explained why he stopped her. Her pout quickly turned into a frown as she scooted over to the other side of Sora, peeking round nervously before quickly hiding once more.
"...Well this is an improvement. Normally she would've attempted to slice you in half." Sora remarked with a slightly surprised tone. He was glad his restraint training was finally starting to show some results.
"Oh yeah kid, this here is the client. Introduce yourself Ethel." Sora quickly went back to rude abrasive tone now as Ethel peeked round once more, this time with a slight hint of curiosity in her eyes.
"Ethel's name is Ethel Storm. It's....umm...A pleasure to meet you?" Ethel sounded unsure as she looked up towards Sora who simply sighed again. At least she was getting better at introducing herself.

Jasmine Lockwood

@Caits
Jasmine nodded slowly in response to Penny as she felt a strange warmth radiate from her shoulder. The warmth was soothing and for some strange reason 'loving' in a way. Similar to the warmth of her mothers hugs.
She a couple of deep breaths as she tried to calm down. Soon enough her headache began t fade as she turned back t Penny.
"To be honest....I have no idea. I'm sure I've never met or heard of them before...Surely I would remember that." Jasmine bit her lower lip nervously as she thought back to them. She was sure it was their magic which had made her memories fuzzy...however there was something else nagging her in the back of her mind.
"They also seemed to be arguing when I met them then they spotted me. One of them pointed towards me and my body began to glow...next thing I remember was waking up in the hotel with Cody. In between isn't even foggy, it's just.....gone. Blank."

Shiro Hime and Cody Bloodstein

@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Roseletta
Cody gritted his teeth as Nidhogg spoke once more. Let Amaya die, or innoncent civilians die? The hand on the pommel of his sword started trembling, but not out of fear. More like out of frustration, anger....hatred.
"...You're both from the same guild aren't you?" Cody asked slowly as he tightened his grip on the sword. It was a question he thought he already knew the answer to, since they seemed to know each other rather well, however he also felt the need to ask and confirm. But he didn't expect an answer either.
Shiro meanwhile was frowning deeply towards Nidhogg. She knew that she should probably at least try to stop or talk him down, however a small part of her was afraid of him. The look in his eyes, and the fact that he was already angry with Shiro, made her uncomfortable.
"Nidhogg-sama we must eliminate the witnesses as well, no?" Shiro eventually broke her small bout of silence as she teleported besides Nidhogg and whispered towards him.
"And should we not get Manami-sama? She should be done soon."

"Cody...This isn't good..."Said Amaya preparing for the possible start of a battle since cody did just try attacking breaking a possible condition. She took a deep breath closing her eyes. she needed to stay level headed, she was tired from the spar so let the boys have their fun cause there was no way, any of them were going to let her more or less sacrifice herself as she wanted to protect others. She stood calmly picking Cecilia up into her arms as she watched taking in every word so she could tell jamie. "Shadow heart, adam reinghardt's guild. Shiro, Nidhogg, Manami, georgie"She whispered to herself before noticing the golden water forming a girl.she figured this was the other girl hunter warned her about.

@Joshua Tamashii

"Elyse, that is my daddy and trust me he isn't scary like he looks."Said rose gently

"I figured she liked flowers and blue...who doesn't like flowers"Said ryu to lucus watching as raiden crouched down some to be eye level with elyse. he took his big bag off his shoulders before searching through it before he pulled out three stuff animals, one was a blue fish, a purple bear and a pink cat "I won these in a game i was playing boredly and thought you would like them"raiden said

ENMA

"Save your magic Gabriel. We don't know when those overgrown spiders will come back." Enma was re-tying his ponytail, looking very displeased with having spider guts and blood in his hair. His hair had gotten out of its ponytail while they were fighting the spiders, most likely loosened by his eratic, violent movements. At least the worst of it was just the spider innards; he didn't like the thought of his comrades getting hurt, especially by oversized insects.

The oni glanced up at the hole the trio had fallen through, glaring with disgust for them to be fooled so easily. He put his weapons chain over his shoulder so that the spiked club would hang on his back and approached the walls of the cave. "We could definitely climb it. If you're both are up for it that is."

@Caits
FERRIS

"Heh, your brother is really a nice guy." His hands were laid on Jessie's shoulders as he watched Drew walk away and as soon he was out of sight, his body went limp as he let out a heavy sigh of relief. Never had he ever been so nervous to be around anyone! And the topics they talked about were so tense that it just made the air heavier! "Can we just go back to the hotel? I think I lost a few years of my life just now."

@Expolar
NOLAN

Now here was Nolan, sitting on a bench in a park sipping his cup of black tea he had bought from an elderly man selling tea from a stand. It was peaceful in the park; the crisp autumn air blew through his hair as the leaves danced around him, the clear sky let the sun's warm rays enveloped the mage. Nothing could ruin this moment of peace...And something decided to ruin it.

"Uh excuse me, could I get an autograph from you?" A young woman had approached him; long blonde locks flowed down her shoulders, sleepy looking light blue eyes, large...assets. This was a bombshell of a woman that had approached him, which only made things worse for Nolan.

He almost choked on his tea and averted his eyes from her. "Um, sure. Do you have a pen or a marker?" The woman handed him a pen and Nolan waited for her to bring out whatever she wanted signed. "So what do you want me to... Stop, stop, stop, stop!" Nolan's face flushed as the woman had begun to unbutten her blouse though stopped at his shouting. "J-just offer me your hand." He didn't even wait for an answer and pulled her hand forward before he wrote his signature on her palm. "There, now please leave me alone. You're giving me a headache."

The woman had walked away in a huff as he rejected her advancement and was so rudely told leave.

Nidhogg

"*sigh*. . . Didn't I tell you to keep quiet? If you say another word, then I will let them go and turn my attention to you. Do you understand? My patience is growing extremely thin." Nidhogg only gave Shiro a small gaze from the corner of his eyes, but his cold tone and the completely lack of . . . anything within his eyes gave the words a menacing edge. All of the excitement, the manic delight, the sadistic pleasure, all of it vanished in a second in order, revealing the cold monster deep beneath it. After he made sure the girl had gotten the point, he turned his attention to Amaya, who suddenly appeared with a rather interesting proposition. Nidhogg rolled his head a bit, taking note of the position and stances of each of his opponents, the smile coming back to his face as he considered what she said.

"You don't quite know what I'm capable of, my darling little slayer, so don't speak as if you do lest I show you all the destruction I could reap upon this city if I truly tried." Again, Nidhogg spoke with an emptiness as his smile stopped reaching his eyes. The blood red orbs would seem to stare through all of them at once, impressing on them that deep within the man they saw before them was something older than they could comprehend, something dark, primal, and cold. "What you are offering is a tantalizing proposal, and if I could do so with the promise that none of your compatriots would interfere, then I would be more than happy to oblige. Like I said earlier, I've no real stake in this . . . but then again, I truly wonder how many people I'd be able to kill before you all managed to actually take me down. It's a thought every bit as tantalizing as the flesh that hangs from your bones. The boy at your side seems eager to start, if nothing else."

Suddenly, Cody would find all of Nidhogg's attention focused on him, as the gaze of a hungry hawk upon a small mouse in an open field. "What is your story with the guild, I wonder? Did we kill your family? Murder a brother or sister that you held dear? Or perhaps you hate us due to some strict and boring code of honor? Whatever the case, I can't help but feel amused that you think that, just because you managed to arm yourself, that you could make even a paltry difference in the coming battle. In fact, if you do choose to break my rules, I might simply kill you first, simply because the hubris you must have to think such a thing is laughable at best. You're weak, and you will always be weak. Your guildmates may try to tell you otherwise, but I've seen plenty like you before, and they all were equally unimpressive. I mean, look at yourself. Your enemies stand before you, and you just stand there shaking in your boots, cursing at your ineptitude. If you have any true conviction in your hatred, then come and strike me, boy."

Nidhogg simply held out his hands as he spoke, leaving himself wide open.

"No need to worry about others, though, as I give you my word that no harm will come to anyone as a result of your actions. All you need do is try your best to cut me down with that blade of yours, to show me the depths of your conviciton. Isn't that why you joined this band of rejects, to actually make something of your worthless life?" Nidhogg was enjoying himself immensely with how this situation was developing, and if Cody did take the bait, that would lead to a very interesting situation indeed. Nidhogg didn't quite know himself why he was acting the way he acting, only that he felt a desire to break the boy in some shape or form. It was a hunger within him that was deeply primal and base, something he could no longer really understand. For a moment, he was Jackson again, feeling something taking him over and worm it's way into his very core. For the first time, in a long time, he was afraid. He was afraid of what lay beneath him, the source of his power, of his urges, of his desires. But as soon as the moment came, it was gone and the mania was once again present in his eyes, though to Shiro, she'd notice a slight unsteadiness in it.

That was . . . odd. He pondered internally, spacing out as he waited for Cody to do whatever it was he wanted to do. What just happened? All I remember is feeling annoyed by Shiro's questioning, and suddenly, I couldn't control myself. I remember everything that happened, but it's almost as if I was watching from afar. Again . . . how odd Nidhogg gave no outside indication of his current disturbed mental state, but as it was, his focus on the situation was currently very much broken as he tried to make sense of his suddenly hostile actions . . . and the presence that accompanied them.

@hatakekuro
Within a alley way, a wooden door of a tavern, weakened from constant repairs, swung open and shattered against the wall. A man who looked old in his adult year emerged with his clothes heavily dusted as if it hasn't been cleaned for days from intensive work. Each step was sluggish, but he got his footing back once he leaned his arms against the wall that was across the tavern. From inside the tavern, the bartender left his counter with a furious expression on his face. "FRYE!!!".

"PETE! I've been to many taverns and breweries that say their drinks are the best. But your homemade brews can still knock the mightiest of beasts out! I should know, HA!" Fyre chuckled as he reached inside his jacket and threw a bag of jewels to the barkeeper. "I hope that should suffice. Wish I could come more often, but I got places to find and be. Thanks for the place to crash!" He still had a leap in his walk thanks to the heavy drink from last night. But once he left the alleyway and walked the open streets, he was able to get back into his usual self, a bit.

Yesterday he finished a rather disappointing job, but the amount of jewels rewarded was enough to overlook it.
Where else was I going to find spare jewels to spend at Pete's old tavern. That drink still has the same kick those few years ago. He was scratching his stubble from the awkward position that he woke up from when he overheard shouting in the distant from some guy. As he was going to ignore the cause of the event, as he usually does, he couldn't help but notice an attractive blond woman with a very nice pair on her. Curious why she had a upset expression, he looked in the direction of where she walked from and notice a familiar person. He walked closer for a better inspection and realized that it was that wizard who fought some of Frenzy Plant's high ranking wizards. The battles from the Magic Games that replayed on Pete's Tavern lacrima screens last night showed some rather entertaining scenes from the Games. Fyre approached the kid without caring that his entire clothes held a heavy alcohol stench while his breath reeked the most thanks to Pete. "Hey kid, you part of the Games right? How did it feel fighting those Frenzy Plants during the Games?" Although he might of looked and smelled like a drunk, his voice wasn't slur and spoke quite fine.

Verick hadn’t really said much as they were walking towards the client except for two little things. “In terms of combat and Tracking… I’ve got both covered.” He grinned, a sword, some armor, a golem knight, yeah in terms of combat he was pretty well covered. Then there was his tracking beast… it’s entire purpose in life was tracking… It was kind of serendipitous that he fit the mission so well.

Then they came up to the young girl, “Hey.” Verick nodded after she introduced herself. “Nice to meet you shrimp, Verick Styles the name, Awesome Magic is the game.” He pointed at his own hood. “Twinsies.” He bowed to the woman and looked back at the “old” Man, “So old man, your disciples run off on you huh?” He shook his head, “If I had disciples, I’d keep a tight leash on them.” In his mind, he would be sipping on a cup of tea right now, “But that’s none of my business.”

This was his first meeting of the client and he would… TRY to be on his best behaviour… “You’re the client, you’re paying. That makes you pretty much the most important person in my life right now. Congrats, you are among Zero other people!” He threw out a small amount of confetti from his hands. “Creation magic is always completely useful.” He commented towards Sora. With that he smacks his hands together to get the confetti off. "Alright, I can use this moment to prove my amazing talent." The young mage grinned and threw out his hands. "Well then, If you want to find your disciples, give me something of theirs. I can track them."

Sora Kaze and Ethel Storm

@Infichi
Sora decided to ignore the constant stream of disrepect which flowed from Verrick's mouth as he rubbed his temples once more. He was seriously going to kick those two's asses when he found them.
"Client? Disciples? Jess and Mai?" Ethel cocked her head to the side slightly as she looked towards Verrick as he spoke before turning her questioning gaze on Sora. Although she was quickly distracted by his confetti display.
"I was just going to leave them lost, serves the two idiots right, but if you're want to then I ain't going to stop you. Ethel, you have something don't you?" Sora shrugged his shoulders before glancing down towards Ethel. The two of them were always getting lost so he had given up finding them a year or so ago, they would find their way eventually as they still had some semblance of intelligence.

Snapping out of her gaze at where the confetti had been, Ethel nodded quickly before a curious looking gun seemingly just appeared in her hand. Mai had given it to her before they had entered the city just to be sure, as Sora wasn't a huge fan on her using her magic within the city. Her magic wasn't something she should show just anyone.
"Ethel has this...It belongs to Mai." Ethel said as she passed the strange looking weapon to Verrick. She struggled a little bit reaching around Sora, having to lean over on her toes and almost losing her balance in the process.
If it wasn't for the fact she was holding Sora's shirt she might've.
"Verrick can find Jess and Mai?" She asked, prompting a shrug from Sora.
"We'll see."

Shiro Hime and Cody Bloodstein

@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Roseletta
Shiro nodded obediently as she took a step away from Nidhogg to once again face the four wizards. She would've been more than happy to fill in Nidhogg on the details of Cody's beef with Shadow Heart but was going to keep her mouth shut unless he asked. She didn't want to incur his wrath. She too turned her attention on Cody, however her look was more of slight confusion. He looked familiar and a familiar feeling presence, she had noticed it during the dome as well. But she had pinned it to the fact he was a target on Georgie's list. But no...something wasn't right.

Cody grinded his teeth slowly as he listened to Nidhogg's taunts. He had to remain calm, this Nidhogg fellow was obviously trying to bait him into some kind of trap. Although through his words he had pretty much admitted to being in the guild, without quite saying so.
However Cody was also struggling to suppress the intense anger and hatred he felt rising now as the grip on his tightened. It wasn't just the anger, it was frustration as well. He was frustrated because every word which Nidhogg spoke right now rang true.
He was weak. He had been weak when Shadow Heart had taken everything away from him, he had been weak protecting Ariel and his weakness was magnified during the dome incident. It infuriated him that this man, from the guild he swore he would bring to justice, knew just how weak he was.
However he mustn't take the bait...he mustn't take the bait. Subconsciously Cody began to mouth a few words as a soft breeze blew through the area.
He kept repeating those words over and over in his head, however an image now surfaced from his memories. Fire, death, frustration, weakness, hatred.
Feelings he had kept bottled up for so long now sprang to the surface in one moment of sheer stupidity which he would probably later on regret.
Sword fully drawn Cody now lunged towards Nidhogg with the intent so slice him clean in half. Although it would be rather obvious that Cody was a complete novice with the blade as the attack was simply brute force with no real technique.

"I can find anyone. Probably." Verick looked down at the gun. "Used to hunt a lot. That's where I came up with this little guy!" The creature was a strange little fluffball, the face of a cat, the ears of a bunny.. it was pretty much just an amalgamation of all the most adorable qualities he could find in an animal. But also... the most useful. Small body to enable it to get into most areas, Large ears so it was capable of catching distant sounds, whiskers for basic whisker purposes... Nose built to track and a fluffy tail to grab it by.

"Its cute, effective... and gets the ladies." He noted to Sora. "This things entire life purpose is to track down my targets. Right little guy?" Verick dropped down to a crouch, looking at the fluffy creature... about the size of your common housecat. "Chu." It responded, "I Call it Chu, cause it says Chu... I don't know why." He blinked, really it was something he was unsure of... He made it, but he still has no clue why it says Chu. "Chu." The creature responded, rubbing it's face on the gun. "Ah, Good boy, you're getting the scent! He'll be ready to track in no time. Trust the Chu!" "Chu."

Joshua watched as more people arrived, two other mages. One seemed to be a knight of some kind, wielding the typical sword and shield combo. The other was some kid who was obviously scared but had enough guts to stick around. He listened as both sides said their banter, and several things became glaringly obvious. The first, and the most obvious, was that this Nidhogg person was obviously a mad-man and had no qualms killing people to get what he wanted. It also seemed the other mage by his side was a follower and seemed to be more scared of the man then anything else. It would seem that Nidhogg ruled through feat more then anything else.

Another thing was that the kid on their side, Cody, was easily riled up and seemed to have some beef with their opponents. So much so it didn't stop him from charging them after being taunted, despite the threat to his life. Cursing under his breathe, Joshua moved, closing the distance between himself and Cody in the blink of an eye before drawing his sword and striking Cody's. The kids grip gave away his rookie status and Joshua knew he had a high chance of disarming him. As a safety measure though, he used his sheathe to strike the kid across the stomach, using enough force to knock the wind out of him and stop him.
"Don't be an idiot kid. He aint worth throwing you life away." He said, his tone calm with just an edge of anger to it.

Lucus Griffonbane and Elyse Yashia

@Roseletta

"Scary man. Scary man go away." Elyse said before Ryu held out his hands. Curious, she watched as he grew a flower in his hands and she smiled at him, taking the flower when offered. "Pretty."

"You made a good impression." Lucus said with a smile towards Ryu.

Amelia Averyonna

@Caits

"That right. I would get a new spirits. For example, if I combine Water and Earth, I would make an Ice Spirit. If I combine Fire and Water, I would get steam. Can you guess which two elements I can't combine?" Amelia said, giving Sam a smile while her eyes flicked to the vision lacrima out of curiosity.

James Hunt|Streets of Crocus

In the instant that Cody moved, James realized what had happened and that he had to move fast. "Flashing Radiance!" A flash of golden light erupted from his shield forwards, blinding both Nidhogg and the girl with the scythe briefly. Acting quickly, James sheathes his sword and moves to knock Cody's into the dirt with his armored forearm, but Joshua beats him to it, knocking the wind from him for good measure. He proceeds to speak quickly but quietly so only Cody can hear him after catching the other man's sword midair. "You made two mistakes in that attack, Cody. First you took his bait, and a sword is only a blunt instrument in the hands of an angry wielder. Second, you forgot what I taught you as a result of blind anger. You were wide open and would have DIED if and when he countered you. Keep your emotions in check." By the time the blinding effect would have worn off, James was once more at Cody's side, his sword drawn and his stance ready, the tip pointing over the edge of his shield.

"Enough games. If you're going to attack our friend and guild mate, then do so and quit using the populace of an entire ci-" James finds himself cut off by the appearance of a black lightning bolt from a clear sky and the appearance of a pink haired woman in a black dress.

Jacey Belladona, Rogue Lightning Bolt|Streets of Crocus

Jacey Belladona had been enjoying her day despite having decided to tail Shadow Heart's resident undead toy for the day to make sure he didn't call anymore attention to potential dark guild activity. He was passive and hadn't killed anyone or done anything unseemingly strange that would have the populace sending notes of concern to the attending Magic Council. And then he threatened to kill any one he could get his hands on in order to get the cooperation of a Dragon Slayer in going to the edge of the city to fight him and Shiro, Manami's lapdog. She would have interceded right then except two more Phoenix Wing mages arrived, one of them wielding some kind of Holy magic. Perhaps the idiot will reconsider his choice of action if he can't hurt his targets and they get help from the rune knights.

She facepalmed moments later when he made it clear nothing would change his mind. He followed it all up by taunting one of the Phoenix Wingers into attacking, which the young man did. His guild mates handled it after the one with Holy magic blinded Shiro and Nidhogg and then resumed combat ready stances. However, before the armored man could finish speaking, Jacey arrived in a bolt of black lightning, instantly supercharging the air with a static feeling. However, when the dust from her arrival cleared, she had her back to the Phoenix Wing mages and instead locked her gaze on her undead pain in the ass. "I'm beginning to get the sense that you really want Shadow Heart to get a personal visit from Adam Reinhardt's guild. We have spent months making preparations here and for you to start murdering people left and right because a Dragon Slayer doesn't listen to you will get any potential dark mage activity investigated and I will make sure that Shadow Heart is found if it comes to that."

She spared a glance back to the Phoenix Wing mages, noting that the armored one was beginning to get a questioning look on his face from the way his head was slightly cocked to the side. "Shiro, dear, I strongly recommend that Georgie find a way to reign in Nidhogg here or life will become difficult for your fun loving guild. Am I clear?"

Jack Goran|Laughing Dragon Hotel

Jack shook his head. "You belong here same as I or Jackie does, Aria. You were born here, not in the mirror world you were tricked into calling home for so long. It would only be a matter of adjusting to it for you."

Damian Gerard|Belka Graveyard

”Call it a kitty's intuition, but I've felt like that ever since we've got here. But whatever it is, Frenzy Plant can handle it.” Well, Damian couldn't argue with the instincts of a War Sphinx at any length. Still, his hand didn't leave Durandal's hilt. Guild Master Sanders had given instructions to avoid using magic in view of the public, and so that's exactly what he was going to do. Upon entering the graveyard, Damian noted that it was paved and smiled softly. He'd seen this in other outlying towns during his travels before joining Phoenix Wing, a way the towns people paid the dead additional respect by keeping the walk ways defined. Splitting up, while Ni and Eliza went their own ways, Damian went another, searching for some sign something was out of place.

He searched for several minutes, not finding anything extrodinary, before he saw Eliza waving him over near a gravestone with a visitor. Approaching her, he noted who the gravestone belonged to and frowned. They needed to check the guy's grave and his visitor would make that difficult. "Alright, well, I didn't see anything before I saw you. Did you?"

NOLAN

"What is wrong with some people?" Nolan muttered as he sat down back on the bench. Ever since he had participated in the games he had been getting much more female attention than before, much more unwanted attention. He had noticed their gazes hanging onto him as he walked by, with some even trying to approach him as he tried to walk with a much more brisk pace. It was almost like a cruel pratical joke and he was the punchline. He groaned with visible distress at how pathetic he was; they were just people! There shouldn't be any reason why he should react so volantile in their presence. What happened in the past should stay there. He needed to get past this.

Apparently he wasn't just garnering the attention of those of the female persuasion. An offensive oder wafted over and clung to his nose, nostrilled flared and burned at the scent of an over abdundance of alcohol. His eyes teared up from the pungent smell and he turned his head around to find a middle aged man that looked as much of a bum as he smelled was approaching Nolan. The smell grew stronger as he got closer and at this point Nolan was physically repulsed by the smell. The man spoke to him and his breath was purely rancid from all the drinks this man had.

You're asking the wrong question here, old man. The right question would be is why do you smell like you fell into a distillery. Nolan was almost gagging at this man's odor.

@Lugubrious@Raijinslayer
Ike Riven & Riona Ynnir

Arriving back at camp with Ike grumbling and Riona waited while their report was given, it seemed like they didn't produce much results. Yet it seemed like what Enma's team found out seemed to be what to go off of. Sanders would then send Ike and Riona off again along with Brass, Tsubano and Argus. Ike groaned to himself before waving. "Lead the way Lieutenant Brass." Ike said wanting to get right to the point, not wanting to waste time, with such a annoying group. Riona was too loud, Argus was on a stepping stone to what he would consider evil, while Brass and Tsubano just unnerved him a bit. Today just wasn't his day at all.
Riona giggled a bit nervously as she looked at Ike wanting to get this over with, yet she couldn't help peep at what he was feeling, with a quick flash of her eyes she would see just an immense amount of black orbs radiating off him. It shocked her a bit to see so much negativity coming from one person. Yet she shouldn't let such things upset her, so wearing a grin on her face she held her fist in the air. "We got this team. Operation help our allies is a go." Riona said grinning at her fellow team members for the market place scouring and helping.

Sora Kaze and Ethel Storm

@Infichi
Sora cringed slightly at the sight of the creature and tensed up considerabley. A few things happened next.
One was a strong breeze suddenly blew through the area. Strong enough to move anything light enough and throw it away, meaning a lot of trash got sent flying, skirts uplifted, etc. , but not strong enough to lift anything heavier than a brick.
Second thing which happened was Ethel had also moved quickly and now held the strange creature in her arms, seemingly to protect it from the breeze which blew through.
However upon closer inspection Verrick would find Ethel rubbing it up against her face endearingly.
"Cute. Sora thinks so too right?" Ethel turned to find that the third thing which had happened was Sora had mysteriously vanished, leaving only a blinking outline the only proof of where he had been previously standing. Sora's sudden disappearance caused Ethel to frown slightly, but quickly perked up as she rubbed Chu against her face once more.

Manami Fuyu, Shiro Hime and Cody Bloodstein

@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Roseletta
Cody hadn't even registered Joshua's movement, whether it be because of his blind rage or simply because of the speed he moved at it didn't matter. He just was slightly confused for a moment when he found himself on the ground gasping for the air which had been knocked from his lungs and his sword no longer in his grasp.
As he half-listened to Joshua's and James' scoldings, he dug his fingers into the dirt beneath him as he clenched his fists. He knew that they were right, it wasn't worth throwing his life away. He had fallen for the bait, however he hadn't charged in there completely unprepared for a counter.
However he felt more frustrated than before now.

Shiro's uncovered eye might've been blinded, however up against opponents who already knew their guild insignia she quickly made the decision to throw away the eyepatch meaning one only eye was temporary blinded.
So she kept that one closed as she watched them cautiously with her unblinded eye in a stance ready to attack if the opportunity arose or if they attacked first. She hoped that Manami would arrive soon.
However the arrival of Jacey made Shiro tense up immediately....This wasn't good. This wasn't good one bit! Knowing full well the possible consequences she spoke up once more.
"I apologise for Nidhogg-sama's behavior Jacey-sama, however we were unaware of such a thing." Shiro was pretty good at hiding the dislike for the lightning god slayer in her voice however the way she gripped her scythe might give her away "Manami-sama will be here any moment. I'm sure she can sort this out."

Shiro's comments weren't made to simply try and satisfy Jacey either it would seem as golden water began to flow from a nearby drain. Once a sufficient amount had pooled together it warped into a humanoid shape before falling apart, revealing Manami as she dusted herself off.
She had a raised eyebrow as she quickly took in the scenario in front of her. The two phoenix wing mages from yesterday and two more she didn't recognise, along with Jacey Belladona?
What kind of trouble did Nidhogg get poor Shiro into now? Wait she recognised Amaya now. She was the Ice Dragon Slayer from Phoenix Wing, so she was feeling slightly less annoyed.
However she had appeared in time for Shiro's last comment as she glanced towards the lightning god slayer and Shiro.
"Oh? What do I need to sort out exactly?" She asked. Unlike Shiro however, her dislike for Jacey was a lot more open in her tone. However even she wasn't foolish enough to pick a fight with that man's enforcer....not yet anyway.

Frye | Crocus
@hatakekuro
"Kid, that would be the scent of Pete's Tavern. But I do agree, that place must of been built on top of a distillery. HA!" Frye chuckled as he gave Nolan a friendly hard slap on the shoulder. "But I bet getting knocked out on the floor for the night from one of Pete's special drinks could also do that too. HAAA!" Again, the man broke out in hysterical laughter with a quite victorious pose as he stood. his laugh was louder than before and the stench filling the air around them. After that good laugh, Frye could see the tears on "I know, there's no other tavern on Earthland that's as amazing as Pete's tavern. It would almost make me tear too, knowing that there won't be a tavern that can match such excellence. Kid, you're helping to make today and yesterday great compared to the past few boring months. Which reminds me, how did it feel fighting against those Frenzy Plant wizards during the Games?"

@Joshua Tamashii

"Elyse, that is my daddy and trust me he isn't scary like he looks."

Sora Kaze and Ethel Storm

Verick paused from a moment and looked around... Skirt flip... Panty target, LOCK ON! The mental camera would keep that one for a while, back to the more important matter at hand however. "Where did the old man go." He looked down at Ethel, though she appeared to be a tad too busy cuddling the Chu he'd created. "Look... you know that's supposed to find your friends right? You can't go around cuddling it when it's got a job to do. I don't feel like making another one either. These things use up a lot of magical energy you know. It's not like creating a chair or something... It's really difficult. It requires extreme focus and solid vision. Its like alive you know." Though it seemed his words were falling on deaf ears.

"Ok... Look... Ethel needs to find Sora. Ok? Got it? We find old man? Yes?" Verick let out a sigh and rubbed the back of his head. "Well, If we don't find him I suppose I get the reward... What is the reward anyway... or the job... How long have you all been separated? Should I care?"

Ethel Storm

@Infichi
Ethel pouted slightly before reluctantly letting Chu go.
"Ethel knows that Sora will come back sooner or later. Sora is afraid of cats, but Chu isn't a cat." Ethel got back to her feet before dusting her self off and patting the dust off of her skirt.
"Ethel last saw them...an hour ago? Ethel got distracted and lost track of them." Ethel explained softly as she poked at the ground with her foot. She felt guilty for being the one to have lost track of them rather than the other way round since Sora was obviously mad at them. She was also feeling a little uneasy being alone with somebody she had just met basically five minutes ago.
"Sora didn't tell Verrick? Ethel hired Sora to help Ethel find family. Sister, brother, father." As Ethel explained in her usual concise manner, she held up a finger for each member she was looking for...however she quickly brought it down to one finger.
"Ethel doesn't remember brother....father missing. Only lead Ethel has is sister. Own set of problems."
