Personality: Kyle is protective, but very single minded. When he was struggling with some information someone tried to deter him from his ultimate goal, he didn't even blink but promptly ignored said person and went back to learning what he had to. He has few friends and very little social life.
When something is able to distract him from his main goal it pulls his attention fully until he completes that task.
Appearance:
Background: Kyle was born into the stereotypical rich and ancient family of Purebloods. With one older sister things seemed mostly normal. Until the second wizard war. It ripped his family apart. His father and sister followed Voldemort. Kyle was torn at first but the argument between his parents that resulted in his mother's death sealed his position on the matter. He refused to have anything to do with Voldemort and ran away, which at such a young age was not easy. He got lucky though and a cousin took him in. After the war his father and sister were rounded up and put in Azkaban. Kyle was accepted into Hogwarts, put on the sorting hat and told it "I want to teach, shape minds of the future so nothing like that happens again, what works best for that" the hat thought for a bit and decided Kyle's ambition was strong enough to warrant him being in Slytherin. Kyle was not pleased as that had been both his sister and Father's houses.
After starting at Hogwarts Kyle made few friends, primarily Siobhan. He didn't fall instantly in love with her, in fact he could never actually quite tell you when he did fall in love with her, but he has fallen, and fallen very hard. He has no clue how to tell her though, but enjoys their friendship immensely. Over the summer after 4th year Kyle was doing research for DADA and realized something very peculiar about Siobhan. He wasn't certain until school started back up, she was a werewolf. Again Kyle had no idea how to bring this up to her and in fact sat on the information until Christmas when he found a side note in a book, at his cousins house, about Animagi that their presence for a werewolf could be calming and in animagi form a wizard would be immune. Kyle jumped at the idea, he didn't mention anything to Siobhan right away having no idea how to tell her until the Summer after 6th year when he had finally figured it out. He could turn into a black panther.
Their first night back 7th year when Kyle was able to speak to Siobhan alone he blurted out "I can help you." The rest of the conversation went surprisingly well.
Aspirations: There has only ever been one aspiration (that wasn't romantic) becoming a teacher. This trip for him is two parts, one he gets to spend time with Siobhan that isn't at school, and two he gets a chance to relax and not have to study before going into education. There are a couple paths he can take, he thinks he is going to start with private tutor. As much as he hated being placed in Slytherin it has given him an interesting perspective and opportunity for the future.
House: Slytherin
Academic Record: Kyle came into Hogwarts with one thing in his sights - Becoming a teacher. Even before he put on the sorting hat he knew that that was what he would do. As such he focused only on the subjects that mattered toward that goal. He was naturally good at DADA, but everything else took effort. He poured himself into his studies with lazer focus, with his only distraction being Siobhan which gave him all of his knowledge in Magical Creatures (and because of certain conditions required him to pay more attention to Transifugarion than he truly planed on). He didn't didn't get OWLs for Care of Magical Creatures so there was no moving up for him and staying in that class with Siobhan. He scraped the OWLs and Herbology and Potions, only getting marginally better for Charms and knocking it out of the park for DADA and Transfiguration. Towards the end of the 7th year he was often heard mumbling "If I wanna teach privately I've got to know all of it"
He literally fell asleep during the Herbology NEWT test and never finished it. He was one point from not getting the Charms NEWT at "Accpetable", and received "Exceeds expectations" in Potions and DADA. For Transfiguration he received an "Outstanding"
Skills:- Transfiguration: 10/10 (OH god so many books and late nights)
- Charms: 7/10 (Why in the world is this important ugh)
- Herbology: 5/10 (literally fell asleep during the NEWT test, did not finish it)
- Potions: 7/10 (I don't have time to focus on this it's killing me)
- Defense Against the Dark Arts: 8/10 (Was born for this, but a little distracted because of Transfiguartion)
- Duelling: 8/10 (So much other information filling my head that is important for this so that happened)
- Flying: 2/10 (hasn't been on a broom since he was 5 and his sister knocked him off)
- Muggle Studies: -100/10 (Okay not really but you get the point)
- Care of Magical Creatures: 4/10 (It's only that high because of Siobhan)
