Ahh, damn. I was going to instigate a twist of my own and have a 60-something narcissistic business tycoon (think Trump) who had bribed and blackmailed his way onto the ship to ensure his own selfish survival.

Great all spots are filled now, I'll post up the OOC once I finished my character profile or when someone sends me their character profile. But by the sound of it, all of you guys are coming up with some very unique character ideas that I didn't see coming.

@SheriffLlama Far in the future with advanced technology around the basis of jetpacks, flying cars, virtual reality, robots, and all other fancy gadgets. You can really get as creative as you want with it.

@AtrophyAll very good ideas, but I didn't see the psychiatrist coming and he would go hand in hand with the doctor. And perhaps he even needs to aid the doctor a bit when it comes to his sanity since going two years without human interaction can mess with a guy's head.

@Eru IluvatarYES! I love this idea so much. So, I put a restriction of the age limits because I thought about how Cryonautics would want healthy young people with years ahead of them. But for this specific man, I could imagine with his blackmail, Cryonautics would have no choice but let him. Yet because they did not want others to know they are bending the rules for certain people, none on board knew that this narcissistic figure would be joining them since he never interacted with any of them before hand in various behavioral tests. Yet regardless of that, they should still know who he is through media-coverage and controversy. So in the end, it is the equivalent to unknowingly waking up on the same ship with Donald Trump on board. So definitely go for it.

This is fantastic. I feel like we should have a sixth candidate that the rest of our character's met and jived with during the testing period who then got screwed out of his position by @Eru Iluvatar's character just to really make things feel gross. Bonus points if the dude tries to appoint himself as the leader because he's the most qualified.

@Deserted I'm thinking you should add some muscle to the group with a survivalist or an ex-soldier. Maybe even someone who has been genetically experimented on by a company in partnership with Cryonautics to create a super-soldier- someone with more enhances senses than the normal human being. Just an idea I'm throwing out there.

Well, I figure that robotics and drones and guns the "meat man" concept is a little irrelevant and usually winds up being flat out weird in sci Fi. I could do the soldier or survivalist though.
