Wye Coldren

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Shiny Keldeo @Ninian

"A video?" Wye sat down as Olivier set up his computer and opened the video. He watched with interest, keeping his focus mostly on Brook's Feraligatr. "Hey, could you send this to me? Here, take my Holo Caster and register yourself, if you'd like. You can send it through there." He placed his holocaster on the table.

"A water gym should be interesting. I ought to be on the lookout for a new travelling partner to help us in the coming gym battle," Wye said to himself. He listened to the two converse with a small amused grin. "Sinnoh, huh? I can't say I know anything about the place. Though if they have strong gym leaders like you say, it might be interesting..."

He turned towards the counter of the nurse, sighing. He got up to walk there to ask how Mali was doing when he noticed a Draco Meteor some hundreds of meters away. "What's going out there, I wonder."

Olivier Laine
Libra the Ralts

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Sketcher@Shiny Keldeo
A small smile crossed the blonde's lips as he extended the hand that was previously on his trackpad. "...That sounds lovely, thank you." With a nod, he went back to his editing before speaking again, "I'll be sure to wake up early tomorrow. So you should be able to find me out here once you're ready to depart."

The newly arrived Trainer called out to someone, and initially Olivier ignored it, assuming he wasn't the one being summoned. After a few moments his eyes widened as he realized the teen was in fact talking to him. "O-Oh, Libra, have you been disturbing them?" Emerald gaze immediately fell to the downcast Flareon, and he let out a soft sigh.

Shuffling over to Libra, after Bryce, his head would be down as he replied to his Trainer, <I-I wasn't trying to disturb them...>

Putting a palm to his forehead, Olivier let out a soft chuckle at his companion's words, "...Oh dear. I know you meant no harm." Looking back up to the tanned Trainer he smiled, "A-Anyway, yes, Libras a wonderful companion. He's just a bit too naive... though that's no fault of his own."

With Wye now sitting beside him, he glanced over to the offered Holo Caster, deftly inputting his information before texting himself, a small smile across his lips. "There. Give me a few moments and I'll have this sent over."

Quietly working at his computer, he then turned towards Wye, "You know, I do realize why you'd want to leave tonight, but if you waited we'd be more than happy to travel with you. Of course, I'm sure there's someone in Vertigo. There's Trainer's everywhere from what I've seen here..."

Saving and then exporting the file, Olivier was finally happy with his edit. In a few moments, Wye's Holo Caster would go off. Looking up at the man, he raised a brow, "Is there a battle going on outside? I could film that as well."

The panicked teenagers lungs screamed for mercy as he ran from the train wreck of a battle alongside Brent, Lily, and the mortally wounded Shaymin. Devon kept his eyes in front of him as he forced his legs to pull him towards the safety of the Pokémon Center that was hopefully just down the road a short ways. However they mad dash was interrupted by the arrival of another person and a fierce looking Feraligatr. Devon slowed his sprint to a sort of sluggish jog as the man confirmed that the Center was close by. It took him a few moments to place the face of the denim jacket sporting Trainer, mouth pulling to the side in confusion. Hold on....This was the guy that was asking everyone for a battle outside the Center in New Amber....

Nodding and giving the blue clothed man a two fingered salute, Devon continued on as he called back. "Thanks man! And watch out for those asshole knights!"

The trio kept going down the road uninterrupted....That is until Lily's hand lit up like an Ampharos' tail orb. Devon skidded to a halt as he turned back to look at the green haired girl's glowing hand with a sort of alarmed expression. "Whoa, what the heck is that?" The strange aura surrounding Lily's hand disappeared shortly after, leaving the poor kid to be even more freaked out than she already was.

Sticking close to her as they kept running for the Center, Devon tried to reassure the frazzled Trainer with a smile. "Don't worry Lily, Center's really close, and I'm sure you're fine! Just focus on running!"

Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[Route 701]

@Light Lord @Sketcher
Devon's words did little to ease Lily's mind, it was racing at a million miles per hour right now, trying to make sense of everything going on, but it couldn't. She felt fine, she didn't feel strange at all. But she just couldn't relax, at this point it was impossible. So she tried to keep her mind on the here and now, the Pokemon Center was right in front of them. With Devon and Brent right behind her, she headed right for the door.

[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

Nurse Joy had finally finished patching up the wounds on the young man's Metagross, and brought its Pokeball up to the counter. "Wye, your Metagross is all patched up. Just a little rest and it'll be fine in the morning." She said, setting the Pokeball on the counter. She turned to head back into the back room when she heard the front doors open. "Nurse Joy! Please help!" She heard, turning to the sight of a young girl with bright green hair, along with two boys. What caught her attention was the Shaymin in her arms, a Shaymin she knew very well.

"Oh my, what happened?" She asked, looking around at the three trainers. "She was attacked by some really weird people out in the forest, I think. She needs help bad!" She said, looking at the Nurse, who would nod. "Of course. Chansey, bring a stretcher out and prepare a room!" She called back, and soon the pink Pokemon emerged with a stretcher. Lily gently sat the Pokemon down, and the Chansey wheeled it into the other room. "I'll be back in just a moment, I just need to make sure everything is set up for her." Said Joy, following the Chansey into the back.

Finally it was done, they were safe. At least they hoped so. Lily sat down at one of the empty tables, letting her yellow bag drop to the floor next to her. She raised her right hand, looking at the shaking palm. "W-what could it have b-been..." She said quietly and nervously. Brent sat down across from her, setting his bag beside him. "There has to be a rational explanation for what we saw... it was probably just the sunset, a trick of the light!" Lily looked up at him. "What kind of sunset gives off green light?" She asked. "Point taken..." Brent said in response. He hadn't a clue what they had seen, but it had to be something rational, it had to be.

Soon Nurse Joy returned, moving over to the table. "We're looking over Shaymin now, it's definitely been through a lot. Chansey can handle that, though. For now, if you all have any Pokemon who need some care, I'd be more than happy to get them treated." She said, looking not only at Brent and Lily, but over to Devon, the other trainer who'd come in.

Michael Stint
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian
Michael smiled at Olivier's response. "Alright, sounds good to me." He said. He turned to him again when he started getting onto his Ralts, Libra. "Likable little guy, isn't he?" He said as he checked his PokeGear again. His thoughts turned from that, however, when a group of trainers rushed in, one carrying a very rare Pokemon. "No way, that's a Shaymin!" He said as he watched the event unfold. As Nurse Joy took the small Pokemon away, Michael was left to wonder what had happened to the poor thing. He would have asked the trainers that had brought it in, but from the looks of them, he didn't want to disturb them right then and there.

Bryce Crest
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian
He gave a slight wave of his hand. "No, it's okay, I was getting a little to into this map, anyways. Looking way too far ahead than I should have been, kinda snapped me out of it." He said, looking down at his team. "Well, you all ready to go grab a room?" He asked. Moss and Striker joyfully nodded, with Maya finally on her feet, she let out a little nod and started making her way after her Trainer who had stood up and started heading back. <We'll probably see you tomorrow, Libra. Maya should be in her usual mood then.> He said, turning after his trainer.

Bryce stopped for a moment when the group of trainers rushed in with the injured Shaymin. "Something bad must have happened to it to get it in that shape..." He said to himself as he turned back and headed into one of the Center rooms. He closed the door, making sure it was securely locked as he prepared for his night's sleep.

"But I'd--" As the tune signaling the end of the mending of the pokemon's health, Wye's attention diverted from Olivier to Nurse Joy. "Hold that thought, Olivier," he said as he hastily got up and rushed over to the counter with an earnest smile on his lips. As he listened to what she said, the smile grew fainter, until it showed only disappointment and relief. "In the morning, huh? I guess..." He remained silent for a moment before thanking the Nurse just as the doors flew open with a little girl and boy running in with a strange pokemon.

"A Shaymin?" he repeated as he stepped aside. He shook himself back to reality and called out to Olivier. "It looks like it'll be best for me to stay here for the night as well. Mali needs some rest," Wye said, keeping his gaze on the Shaymin.

With the Shaymin receiving proper care in the back of the Center, Devon sighed relief as he stood off to the side of the lobby. Pulling out his phone, he quickly searched up and dialed the number of the local Police before putting the device to his ear.

"Yeah, Police? Me and my friends just got attacked on Route 701 just past the Pokémon Center...We're fine, and yes, two people, a woman and a guy in some sort of metal knights armor...They used a Haxorus, a Dragalge, a Crobat, and a Rhyhorn to chase down a wild Shaymin. Dunno what they wanted with it.....Yeah, we kept it safe from them and they attacked us full force....There's a brown haired guy in denim there right now....No idea what his plan is...You'll send some guys out there? Ok, great. Thanks man. Have a good one."

Letting out another ragged puff of air, the teenage hooded boy walked over to join the two younger Trainer's at the table. Running his hands through his wild brown hair, he looked to both Brent and Lily with a doubtful frown. "I don't think that was a light trick man. Green lights don't usually just pop out of someone's hand like that. It has to mean something...."

The nurse came over and gave the good news. The crimson clothed teen smiled and nodded with hands digging around in his pockets. "Oh, that's great. Thank you nurse. I got a few I need to get looked at too." The scarred boy held up three shrunken Poké balls in his hand. A Great Ball, a Premier Ball, and a Safari Ball. Each of them having the names 'Nasir', 'Shock', and 'Cyan' carved into their tops. He handed them to the Center worker before turning back to Brent and Lily. "But yeah, that weird thing on your hand must mean something Lily....You did just touch a super rare Pokémon that we know next to nothing about, maybe it's some sort of reaction to Shaymin?"

Celes Elwyn
Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord@Sketcher
Celes and Ranulf didn't make it to the Pokémon Center. Instead, the two were in a heated screaming match in the woods surrounding the Center.

"They could be dead for all you know!" The small girl began shouting at her Dragonite.

Putting a paw to his forehead, his thick arms pointed towards the Center. <They're fine. I heard them arrive a few moments ago. We can go inside and see if that would make you feel better.>

Tears streaming down her features she continued shrieking, "They could have died!"

Hanging his head, the Dragonite let out a grunt, <They had their Pokémon partners helping them. With such a potent distraction by the Mismagius, I was hardly able to even move myself. They were in no danger. In fact, I was lucky enough to even be able to find you.>

Pounding her fists into the Dragonite's large belly, Celes shrieked while sobbing, "Well, NEXT TIME we're not just leaving them, okay!? Either you grab all of us, or you grab none of us!" Making a final punch to the large Dragon-type's gut, Celes stormed off, making her way inside of the Pokémon Center.

Taking a seat, she pouted. Seeing that everyone was seemingly all right, or at least in the condition she last remembered, she let out an annoyed, yet apologetic huff, "Sorry Ranulf's a meanie-face."

Olivier Laine
Libra the Ralts

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Sketcher@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord
The doors flung open, and Olivier's gaze immediately darted towards the source. Young Trainers, but one held an exceptionally rare Pokémon. ....did they find one hurt? His gaze fell upon the pink-haired woman whom appeared to be more shocked at the Pokémon's condition than its presence. Perhaps that was simply how a Pokémon nurses' mindset worked.

Once the newcomers sat down, the blonde's watched as they seemingly spoke about whatever had just happened. Finally, his attention shifted back to those he had been speaking with previously. "Shaymin... yes, it would seem that way. I wonder how one managed to get here of all places?"

As Olivier talked to no one really in particular, the tiny Ralts took Michael's words as a compliment, making his way over to him. Beaming up at the young Trainer, he gave a small boy before looking back at the other group, giving a nod to Striker. <Oh! I hope everyone is well rested in the morning. Do please give Maya my regards...>

It seemed everyone was as surprised as Oliver was. Looking over to Wye, he shot the older Trainer an apologetic glance, "I can't say I'm too surprised. Well, then, there's a few hours left until it's—"

In stormed another girl. Pausing, he stared at her with a befuddled expression. After a few blank moments he mused to himself, ...is everything all right?

Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Devon proposed that it was just a reaction to touching Shaymin, but that it was rather a natural reaction to touching such a rare Pokemon. "I don't think so... I don't know how to explain it, it just... kind of happened..." She replied. She continued looking at her hand, but eventually after realizing it would not manifest itself again, sat it down and tried to calm herself, a feat that would prove next to impossible still.

Celes finally made her way inside in quite the sour mood it seemed, but it was obvious that she had been crying. When she somewhat apologized, Brent smiled and waved it off. "It's fine, Celes, really. I know Ranulf was probably just trying to protect you, that's what he was told to do. We're fine, though. Well... mostly..." He said, the last part rather quietly while looking towards Lily. Then he turned back to Celes. "Well... though she doesn't really seem like it, she can be mature when she wants to be... in her own way that is." He thought as he looked the girl over.

Seeing that none of the other trainers had Pokemon to be checked over, she gave a nod and headed into the back. Firstly she would scan the PokeBalls to check their injuries quickly. It would seem the Zoroark had a small burn, the Marill would be quite damaged with some poison circulating in her system. And the Ampharos just seemed to have an injury to its neck. All of these easily treatable. And with that done, she set to work.

Soon releasing each Pokemon, she started with the worst of the injuries, which was the Marill. She applied an Antidote and some Potions to help her. A little anesthetic to help her rest soundly, and back in the PokeBall she went. Next she'd treat the Ampharos, whom she would apply a potion to the Ampharos Neck Wound, which would have a bruise on it for the time being. The Ampharos was out cold, so anesthetic wouldn't even be required. She returned the Electric Type to his PokeBall, and brought out the last one. The Zoroark was... imposing, to say the least. But, that wouldn't keep her. She would apply the Burn Heal Cream to the spots and that would be that.

Michael Stint
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian
Olivier seemed to have forgotten that he was in Viore, at least that's what Michael thought. "Did you forget what this place is? Viore is supposed to have the most variety of Pokemon in the world, it doesn't surprise me. What surprises me..." He looked as Nurse Joy headed into the back room. "...is that it got hurt like it did, it takes someone with no heart to hurt a Pokemon that badly." He said sternly but quietly enough that it was not heard by the nearby trainers. He didn't know how they were involved, but they were good enough to bring it in for treatment.

Sierra Hymn
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

After dinner, Sierra finally returned to her room. There weren't many Trainers here yet, or Coordinators. She'd gotten here quite early for the Contest, but she wanted to make sure she wasn't late. The lack of people was just fine to her, though. The Pokemon Center in Riviera was nearly packed, which is why she continued on to Vertigo without looking over everything there. Too many crowds.

After changing into some nightly attire, she sat on her bed and turned on the nearby TV, with Fennekin and Deerling next to her. It was a special report that she was catching about mid-way through. "...It seems the Viore Police Force has not yet found anything that could help bring an end to this 'Royal Skies' Organization. Their specialized Task Force has been unable to make any connections or predict the group's next move. So, how long will it be until someone can? This is Don Wilds live at the New Amber Police Station, back to you in the news room."

Sierra sighed. "Those guys... I don't know much about them, but they've been starting up trouble all over Viore..." She said, looking to her partners. She yawned, tired from the journey she had taken that day. Time to sleep. She got into bed, her Pokemon doing the same.

Jinx

“So. You can do the adorable kicked puppy thing, and you have enough firepower to impress an army group. These are a few of my favorite things~”

Right. Less flirting. More booking it. Jinx didn’t waste any time at that-granted Pent was just a tad bit heavier than his normal fare-paintings, diamonds, the like...that didn’t quite measure up. Closest thing was juvenile Aerodactyl skeleton...and he hadn’t had to worry that much about security then.

Locking them in an elevator tended to have that effect. Lost in these fond memories, he operated more or less entirely on instinct from there on out-going almost entirely silent. Dodge. Weave. Double back. Plant evidence for false leads. The normal stuff.

Jinx hazarded a glance behind him. No pursuit. Good. That...had gotten a bit more exciting than he’d thought. Also incurred a little

“Well.” Jinx chirped, finally. “That was fun.” A sly look crossed his face then. “And I gotta say, you were pretty quick to cross over to the fun side of the law. I like that. You’ve got good instincts! And that trick with the staff was...well, if that thing was in a museum, I’d probably be planning the heist right now.”

A brief look of concern flashed across Jinx’s face, as he realized the implications of the last statement. “Not. That uh, I’d steal it from you. You did me a solid. Plus, you know, you kinda look like a kicked puppy.” Which was to say, kinda adorable.

….He had his weaknesses. “Anyway. If you don’t want the heat, feel free to say I dunno, I tried to kidnap you or somethin’, not like that’ll add too many years to the sentence they’d be looking to pin on me.” Jinx paused again. “Least I can do. That really made up for that boring flight over. Snorefest. Lemme tell you.”

This was how the creature known as Jinx attempted to make small talk.

To say it had not evolved for this purpose was putting it lightly.

And of course, Jinx being...Jinx, the fact he might have been able to get medical assistance from the airport without sending a larceny prone hellhound out of course, never entered his mind.

“And hey, if the heat’s not a problem, I’m in the market for a partner in crime. Enhance the brand. You know.” He waved his nonchalantly. “Expand. Diversify.”

Pent Faraday
Shinon the Lucario, Aenir the Froslass, Jill the Skarmory

[Viore International Airport]

@Ophidian
Once the pair made it through the hole, Shinon jumped after them, still retaining his Mega-Evolution as it appeared they were still not quite home free. Looking up at his Trainer, the Lucario would communicate with him through aura, Are you certain you're all right with this? He means you no harm, but it isn't sitting right with me.

The drugged professor looked down at his blue companion, his voice now feeble, "It's... fine..." Looking back up at Jinx, the man was speaking a mile a minute, and the enfeebled man could hardly process his words. Finally, trying his best to respond, he let out a soft groan, "Kicked...puppy? I... guess so. I certainly feel like one." Pausing, he flashed a weak smile, "...I... appreciate your help. I... you... shouldn't get in trouble, I... Shinon won't... let that happen. And... um... name. I'm Pent... Faraday, and I can't... thief... with... you... professor... Lumiose University..."

What he was trying to communicate was entirely jumbled up, in both his mind and his lips. Regardless, the weakened man hoped Dr. Jinx could at least get the jist of what he was saying. The staff was awkwardly in his hands, and he was having a difficult time keeping a grip, looking down at his Lucario partner, he flashed a pleading glance.

With a small bark, the Lucario caught up with them, before grabbing the staff in his paw.

Since Jinx was attempting small talk, Pent would also attempt the same feat. Normally, it was something he was brilliant at, but half of his mind had taken a trip elsewhere. "So... ah... here... you... not from?"

Pouting, Celes let out a soft grumble at Brent's words. "...I know what he was trying to do, but he just left you guys. His excuse was something about the purple lady's screech, but he's stronger than that. It shouldn't have done anything to him." Slumping into her chair, she looked the group over, before finally setting her sights on Lily. "That Pokémon we saved should be okay, Lily. You should um... you can sit with me if you want."

Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Lily was suddenly swarmed, or she felt like it. She felt like they were treating her like the hurt one. "I... I just need a minute..." She said, standing up from the table. She walked past another group of trainers at a nearby table as she headed out back behind the Pokemon Center. Brent watched over his shoulder as the green haired girl walked out. He sighed. "I think some alone time will do her some good more than us almost prodding her. Whatever happened to her... that's enough to freak anyone out. Some peace and quiet might do her some good."

She sat down on one of the benches outside, staring up at the orange hue just above the horizon. It helped put her mind at ease a little, but the same thoughts kept rattling around inside. Things she didn't yet mention to the others. "When I first heard that voice... I think that was Shaymin... then when I saw Shaymin, it felt like something... clicked. And when that... mark, symbol, whatever it was appeared... I felt something... connect? I don't know how to put it... it was so weird... what could it be?" She thought. As freaked out as she was at this, she felt she might freak out her new friends more if she told them. "Should I tell them... or would it be for the best if only I knew..."

It was hard, she had never lied a moment in her life, not when she spilled juice on the oriental rug from Oblivia, not when accidentally knocked over her dad's bookshelf, never had she told a lie. But... if it was protecting her friends... was it really right?

Meanwhile, in the back, the fact that the Zoroark could, speak if you could call it that, caught the nurse a little off guard, but she kept her composure. "No need to thank me, just doing what I'm supposed to do." She said, holding up the Zoroark's PokeBall. In a flash of light, the dark type would be returned. She soon returned to the front.

"Your Pokemon are all patched up. Your Marill and Ampharos will be a bit sore for a few days, but they'll be fine, just make sure they get plenty of rest tonight. Your Zoroark will be completely fine, I don't see any troubles occurring with that one." She said with a smile, leaving the PokeBalls on the counter.

Michael Stint
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

Out of the entire group, the green haired girl seemed the most... out of it with whatever situation they had just been through. When she took her leave and went outside, he decided now was the time to ask. He stood up from his table and slowly walked over to the others. "Hey, I just saw you all come in with a Shaymin... it looked pretty beat up, I was wondering what happened to it." He said. He wondered if he might be able to help with whatever happened.

Officer Jenny
[New Amber Town - Police Station]

"So, another attack on civilians... whoever these guys are, their attacks are so random, but they're definitely planned. I can't pin these guys down..." Said Officer Jenny, looking at a large computer monitor showing the South Western Corner of Viore. Another officer entered the room. "Ma'am, we've received a message from the PRU, they'll be sending in two of their members tomorrow. They think they might be able to help end this." Jenny looked at the officer, then back to the monitor. "We can only hope so... if they can't figure out this mystery, who can?"

Shock the Ampharos, Cyan the Marill, Quill the Monferno, Missy the Mismagius, Nasir the Zoroark
[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@Sketcher
The scarred teen watched with concerned eyes as Lily hastily walked out the back of the Center, with Brent reassuring them that she would be better off dealing with her troubles alone. "Yeah...Maybe. My problem is that we don't really know what happened to her."

A cold thing touched at his shoulder, and Devon turned his head to spot the source of the odd feeling behind him. It was a long, purple ribbon that lead to a Mismagius. One with a small claw mark at the tip of her 'hat'. A warm smile over took the experienced Trainer as he fully faced the ghost and hugged her. "Missy! I'm glad you're alright. I was starting to wonder why you were taking so long to get away from those jerks."

The Magical Pokémon's crooked lips contorted into a happy smile as she met her Trainer's embrace with an arm wrapping hug. <Yes, I'm alright....It took me some time to escape from the battle, as I was assisting another Trainer that appeared to combat that horrendous group. He and his Pokémon urged me to flee shortly after they arrived, and I did so when I felt it was safe for all of us.>

The nurse appeared back at the counter with the rest of his now treated team, announcing their conditions. The relived boy in hoodie walked up to the counter to retrieve the three spheres and wave back at the nurse. "Thank you!"

Coming back to Brent and Celes, the teen stuffed the Premier Ball and Safari Ball back into his pocket. Keeping the Great Ball in his hand just as another Trainer approached them. Looking over the pre-teen, Devon rolled the ball around in his palm and frowned. "We were pretty hard to miss huh? That Shaymin we rescued was being chased by these insane guys in straight up knight armor. Like stuff you'd see in old Unovian fairy tales." Smirking, he tossed Nasir's ball up and snatched it out the air. "We don't know what they want it for, but whatever it is it ain't good. So we battled them and Missy here helped us escape." He'd say as he gestured to the purple spectre near him, who gave a bow to the new boy.

Celes Elwyn
Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord@Sketcher
Despite everyeone's words, Celes' still didn't feel better about the situation. Lily rushing off made her feel even worse, too. It was as if her offer made the small girl uncomfortable. Wow... good job, Celes...

The large Dragonite was leaning against one of the benches, opposite of the one Lily had sat down on. He, too, was sitting there quietly, trying his best to think of something to cheer up Celes, or perhaps apologize to her. His gaze briefly fell to Lily, giving her a small wave before averting his gaze and keeping to himself.

Closing his laptop, he gently placed it in a sleeve before putting it into his satchel. Throwing the messenger bag upon his shoulder, he made his way over towards the group that had brought in the Shaymin. "...Knight armor? That seems... impractical. Well, I'm sure that Shaymin is thankful you were all there to rescue it."

Looking over his shoulder, the blonde's brows furrowed. "The small girl with the green hair... is she all right? She looked quite upset from where I was sitting."

Brent Ignia
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Brent looked at the others who had become intrigued by their little group. "Yeah... but that one guy... he went just about blow to blow with your Monferno, didn't he? Even without armor... I didn't think that was possible. And that lady... whoever they were, they knew what they were doing and they meant business." He paused for a moment, thinking about how to say what had happened. "She's just a little freaked out by what happened... it's probably better if she told you herself than me, if she even wants to talk about what happened..." He looked out the door where Lily had gone.

Lily Meadows
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

Lily didn't even notice Ranulf outside as she sat and thought. It was hard, keeping the truth from her friends or letting them know what she actually felt... she didn't know what to do. She sat there and thought long and hard, and eventually decided. "I'll tell them... they deserve to know..." She said, starting to head back inside, but she stopped at the door, just out of sight. There were more trainers talking. Alright, change of plans, she'll tell them later. She didn't want to cause panic to complete strangers.

She sighed, regained her composure, and headed back inside. "Alright, I'm okay now." She said, still somewhat nervously as she took her seat back at the table. "So, did I miss anything?" She asked. "Not much, we were just chatting with... oh yeah, we never caught your names." Said Brent, looking to the strangers now next to them.

Michael Stint
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

The answer kind of caught Michael off guard. "Knight armor?" As Brent explained how seemingly powerful these people were. "They do sound tough... can't say I've heard of anything like that, but I've only been in Viore a few days now." He said, scratching the back of his head questioningly. He was going to add on to what Olivier said when the green haired girl returned. When he realized he'd never said his name, he chuckled. "Right, my name's Michael." He said.

[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Shiny Keldeo @Ninian @Light Lord

"Mali'll be fine," Wye said to Olivier. "He's more than a little resilient." He kept glancing at the group that had just arrived, curious. After the green haired girl left the room, and Olivier walked over to the group, Wye followed suit. "Seems like those thugs just came out of a medieval themed costume party." The young man chuckled lightly. "Um... Sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop. My name is Wye, by the way."

Devon Lyton
Shock the Ampharos, Cyan the Marill, Quill the Monferno, Missy the Mismagius, Nasir the Zoroark
[Route 701 - Pokémon Center]

@Ninian@Shiny Keldeo@Sketcher
The teenager muttered at Brent's comment, crossing his arms and frowning. "Yeah...I've never seen a human block Quill's punches. It just doesn't make sense to me." Shrugging, he looked at the ceiling. "For all we know they were doped up on some weird super drug or something. I just know they're dangerous, and that they give me some not so pleasant flashbacks to guys like Team Rocket."

Lily thankfully returned, causing Devon to give a short wave and smile. "Hey Lily. Good to have you back." Everyone else that had gathered then gave their names at Brent's question, with Devon lifting his hand to give his intro. "I just got here today, I didn't expect all the excitement to happen so soon. I'm Devon. Nice to meet everyone. This Mismagius over here is Missy, and this fluffy guy is..." He'd do a short sort of drum on his pant leg with his free hand as the brunet boy tapped the Great Ball's button on his leg. Releasing a giant black fox with red mane and a small silver necklace in a flash of white light next to him. "...Nasir, my Zoroark. How're you feeling man?" Turning his head he'd smirk at the Dark-type.

Celes Elwyn, Olivier Laine, and Nasir the Zoroark

Team Celes: Ranulf the Dragonite, Mist the Dratini
Team Olivier: Libra the Ralts

@Sketcher@Shiny Keldeo@Light Lord
With a baffled expression, the blonde contemplated Brent's words regarding the armored aggressors. "...A human... fought a Monferno? And matched... it?" At Lily's return, the feminine Trainer gave the girl a small wave, "Not too much... ah, and yes that's been quite rude of me. I'm Olivier, it's nice to meet all of you..."

Nodding at Michael, he agreed, "I'm new to Viore as well. Actually, I managed to get here early this morning."

A small laugh escaped his delicate lips at Wye's jab. "A costume party...! Wouldn't that be amusing." Panning his gaze to Devon, he furrowed his brows. "I'd be.... surprised if they were under the effects of a stimulant. I cannot even think of any substance that'd give a human such extrodanary power... unnaturally of course. If they were some sort of soldiers, perhaps...?"

The white coelesed into the form of a Zoroark. At his Trainer's question, he looked around, confused at the sheer amount of newcomers in such a small span of percieved time. "...I'm all right. Greetings, everyone."

Confusion washed over Olivier's visage. Taking a few moments, he finally managed to form words, "I-I've read about Zoroark's Illusion ability, but I just... had... no idea."

Averting his gaze, the Zoroark let out a sigh, "I am capable of creating realistic imagery as well as sound projections. I realize it's... abnormal to most..."

"Y-You have my apologies..."

At his Trainer's blunder, Libra waddled over to the much taller Zoroark, looking up with a small smile. <Greetings! Um... don't mind Olivier. He's not trying to be awkward, I promise!>

Scratching the back of his head, the Illusion Fox let out a sigh, "...I'm aware."

The entire time the group conversed, and introduced themselves, Celes sat slumped, disturbingly quiet considering her usual disposition. She hadn't even bothered to let the others know her name.

Brent Ignia, Lily Meadows, and Michael Stint
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Sketcher
Lily somewhat slumped down when she realized they were still talking about what had happened earlier. Luckily, the subject soon changed to Nasir's unusual ability. She then realized she'd almost forgotten something, or rather someone, again. "Oh no... I forgot again..." She held up her only used PokeBall, clicking the button and releasing the small Grass Type inside. <You did it again, didn't you...> She said angrily as she looked around her. "I'm so sorry, we kind of got caught in the moment..."

Brent nodded. "Right, better let out my partner, too." He said, holding his PokeBall and releasing his Fire Type companion. <Where are they?! I'll rattle their cages, I'll give 'em a left, then a right, then a... a... when did we get here?> He said, looking around him as he noticed they were no longer in combat. Brent laughed as his Cyndaquil seemed quite confused. "Sorry, pal, we booked it out of there." He said to the fire type.

As the others introduced themselves, so did they. "I'm Brent, nice to meet ya." Said Brent, waving. "This is my partner, Cyndaquil." He pointed to his partner. "My name's Lily, that's Chikorita." She said, motioning to her partner.

Michael smiled, looking over at the pouting girl next to Devon. "And, what about you? What's your name?" He asked, wondering what was on that girls mind.

Brooks
[Route 701]

Brooks sat with his back against the trunk of a tree along the road, hands behind his head as he somewhat relaxed under the orange glow of the diminishing sunset. His Feraligatr sat in a similar fashion. "You did good back there, pal. They didn't stand a chance." He said as he glanced over to his Water Type companion. <Yeah, kinda hard to deal with me, you know. Just kinda mad I didn't get to finish the job...> Feraligatr replied.

Brooks looked back to the sunset, stretched, and stood up. He was thinking about Shaymin, and was concerned by "Their" sudden interest in capturing it. Maybe the others would be in danger... "Let's head back down to the Pokemon Center, I wanna check on something." He said, Feraligatr getting to his feet. <Whatever... as long as I don't need to have another examination...> He replied, following him.

Olivier's reaction to Nasir was like every other reaction people had to the Zoroark's amazing Ability, however is still caused Devon to chuckle. Reaching up the teen patted Nasir's fluffy right shoulder. "Yup, he gets that reaction alot. But Nasir's pretty awesome right? It's really cool to able to actually have full back and forth conversations with a Pokémon. A pretty good friend at that."

Looking down at the Ralts near Nasir's feet, Devon smiled. "Oh, cool Ralts Olivier. I don't really seem em too much when I'm in Johto."

Then the room went a bit silent once Michael pointed out Celes. Turning around to look at the pouting girl, the brown eyed boy frowned. "Hey Celes, cheer up man. You don't need to be upset about Ranulf, we all made it out ok and that's what matters. Come socialize dude."
