Adrian had just watched the odd girl leave his room, he sighed and rubbed his forehead, this was proving to be a very...interesting day, he rubbed his hands together and slowly turned the room as if to scan it, he wondered what would happen next. Would they all be checked on? Perhaps he should just sit down...they didn't like it when he raised his fist, not that any of them believed he would punch them...He sighed once more and stood in front of his dummy, maybe just a little more practice...
He clasped his hands and got into his usual stance, throwing one light punch at the doll. As expected, nothing, he was glad it never fought back...Another punch and again no-
BTOOM
a loud sound echoes through the area and Adrian finds himself on the floor, his ears ringing terribly. He struggled to force himself up, he was so confused, sounds pestered him from all sides. Something felt off, something also felt painful... Adrian raised a shaky hand to look through, desolation glared back at him. Dust and some rubble around him, the wall had a new hole in it, not very big, but still present. The boy got to full standing position and tried to switch to the eye outside his door. A no go, something might be blocking it...He raised his hand in front of him and stumbled to the door, it didn't open like it should have and he had to hit it with his shoulder repeatedly to force it open enough, he squeezed through the odd crack and found himself in the hallway. Something had definitely happened, a lot of destruction presented itself, Adrian's room must have been farther from the blast, he heard some sounds and looked to it's source.
Dark matter.
The boy felt nervous, what had he been yelling? Adrian didn't seem to get it clearly, but he did notice something...No restraints...Adrian looked to his own wrist, it was just dangling there...he felt his collar, still a bit more tight but...not functioning.
"U-um..." he said loud enough to hopefully get some attention, he hesitantly walked towards the...beast, to see others filling the halls as well, sounds of chaos was reaching them from destinations unknown.
"Wh-whats going on?"
The boy exclaimed in some sort of panic, if what it looked like was happening...The day was really going to get....interesting
Sai sat in her own holding cell, it was far off from most others, not because she was especially dangerous, everyone seemed to just prefer her alone. Even herself.
she sighed and leaned back against the wall, she sat on her small cot, thinking, like she always did. She had just been given her pill for today, and of course she took it with little resistance, if she didn't then the walk to the sun room would go bad...once a week they took her there, apparently to "keep her healthy" but of course it was just to maker her keep taking the pills...they made it burn less, or so they said...she was starting to think it was actually the problem...she sighed once more, not that it mattered, she would be taking those pills until she was dead, even if they had to force them down her throat...She clacked her teeth together twice, people had lost fingers that way though...
A loud sound from some distance away shook her from her thoughts. She opened her eyes to look at the door...
"hello?" she asked expectantly...no response, she could hear more and more noises start to take form. "Excuse me?" she said once more, she stood up to go to the door when her left wrist constraint fell off. She looked at blankly, not because she was un-surprised, but because she was unsure how to react. She swallowed back some mixed emotions and looked to the door, footsteps seemed to pass it by, she quickly began trying to get the other one off, with ease it was soon on the floor next to it's partner. She began immediately trying to force the collar off, it was definitely proving more difficult... when she felt some leeway the heavy footsteps were at her door again, this time stopping right in front of it, the sound of the door opening made Sai spin around, a guard stood there with a cattle prod in hand. "Hey!" he barked at her before charging in, she wet pale and took the end of the weapon in her gut, twitching and hitting the floor violently. The guard sighed took a shaky breath. He was pale, he just looked at her as she continued to convulse on the ground. He shook his head and turned to leave when a clank made him turn back. Sai was there with bloodshot eyes and a collar in her hand.
"Ow"
She said bluntly before throwing her hand up, a crimson blade along with it, it caught the guards cheek and he stumbled back, giving Sai the space she needed and used to jump and run out into the halls. She had never felt so alive...
