TOKYO, JAPAN
It was yet another sunny day in the land of the rising sun. Despite being one of the most popular kaiju hotspots in the world, the city of Tokyo is still a very hot and highly populated tourist attraction. Maybe it was due to the culture it presents, or being the home of Anime and Manga, or the location of where the entire Kaiju Era first began, or hell even a combination of all things. Regardless, it was a highly jam-packed metropolis, and with it's reputation, it also has one of the strongest Anti-Kaiju defenses in the world, protecting citizens in case of a possible kaiju attack. But even in regards, some of these monsters can still slip by, their grijinka abilities allowing them to blend in with humanity, and walk rather normally around them. The public doesn't expect a thing. Would it be somewhat racist, or specist, to kick them out even if they don't cause a threat? Arguably yes, but not necessarily no. After all, mankind isn't exactly the dominant force on this planet anymore, even if these kaiju forces aren't the most abundant.
As everyone in Tokyo was enjoying a nice day around the city center, one person in particular can be noticed throughout the entire block. It was one of the special anti-kaiju android mechs, one that is built like a normal human, and even acts like a regular being with it's high HQ and raw emotions, but also being able to combat against any intruders that happen to get by. And this android, is known as the American Jaeger, Gipsy Danger. Usually she is stationed to be around patrolling the western cities of the USA, Europe, and the like, but today she was tasked for the first time in her career that she would get to travel to Tokyo. The props about being an android like her is for her to be able to travel, whether it be to somewhere she likes, or maybe not as much, but one still gets to travel to anywhere in the world, for as long as she battles and kicks out any kaiju force within an area. The cons? Well, she can be a considerable target to said enemy forces, and a 200% chance of getting murdered in battle.
Even then, Gipsy was an experienced Jaeger android. She knows what she is doing. She inhales a deep breath of air as she looks around the sighs of Tokyo, Japan, keeping on the look out for any intruders within the area...
Monster Island - Pacific Ocean
In the vast expansion of the Pacific Ocean region, lies and Island that is infamously known as a kaiju hotspot. Lying simply 50 miles away from mainland Japan, Monster Island needs no introduction. It is an island filled with these kaiju gijinka, coming in at all shapes and sizes. Of course, this island usually contains such creatures that were born on Earth, hence they have been classified by the humans as Earth Defenders. While they defend Earth from some of the more extra-terrestrial threats from space or under the sea, most have little to no care in regards to the human race. They either don't do anything with them, or even despise them, mostly to how they are damaging the environment, or other factors. Only a very few have any real sympathy for them.
But on this island, there is one that rules them in. Considered to be one of the famous regarded by his allies, and infamous by her foes, she is the strongest kaiju gijinka on the face of the Earth, but in fact the second to be recognized by the public. Her name... is Gojira, aka: Godzilla, Queen of the Monsters.
Currently, she is in her human form resting in a cave around the center of Monster Island. She has fought a hard battle with another kaiju just days ago and she's been regenerating her strength and energy for future battles to come. Meanwhile, her adopted daughter, Godzilla Junior, was not too far from the cave, just being several miles away near the sea, while just finishing a sparring with another kaiju, this one being Rodan Jr, being the daughter of Rodan Sr, the one who sacrificed herself to give Godzilla Sr, her spiral atomic breath. As they were finishing up, Godzilla Jr simply pats her on the back and gives a smile.
"Nice sparring match, eh Rody-chan?" Goji Jr says with a smile.
"Indeed Goji-chan," the flying kaiju replies, "A good one it was. You were good!"
"Thanks!" replies the queen's daughter with a slight giggle, "You too! Hope to go for another one soon. See ya later Rody!"
"Until next time!" replies the pterosaur gijinka as she makes a running start to the ocean and then flies into the sky and far to the horizon, going who knows where, with Goji Jr waving her goodbye.
Now Godzilla Junior was alone and was going back to her mother's cave to rest as well.
