Joking aside, I wanna play a shrinking man for once. Been wanting to for a while and it looks like this will be my first opportunity.

@The Kid Lantern Is Nightwing / Spider-Man still up for sale? I can't really think of something else that is that cool besides a mixture of Super Boy and Iron Fist.

@The Kid Lantern Since amalgaming Ant-Man with The Atom is far too obvious, may I propose the idea of combining Ant-Man with Blue Beetle? It would work surprisingly well, the Scarab would simply come equipped with Ant-Man powers along with some of its usual weaponry. The working idea is for me to play as a version of Jaime Reyes that - like in the original universe - unwittingly became bonded with the Scarab. My plan is take a page from the New 52 and have Jaime unable to completely control the Scarab at first. However, he'll get help from an unexpected place: Dr. Hank Palmer, one of his college professors. Hank will also appear to know more about the Scarab than he lets on, eventually revealing that Jaime was not the first person the Scarab bonded to, the previous being a former student of Hank's (an amalgam of Scott Lang and Ted Kord) who is now deceased. Hank can also later reveal that he invented a belt that mimics the Scarab's power (as a way to tie in his Ray Palmer side) and that he used it to become The Atom, but at some point in the past vowed to never use it again for undisclosed reasons (hint: Haven't mentioned Janet yet, take a guess why).

@Chaotic Chao Superboy and Iron Fist? Super Fist? I can dig it. I'm making my character a combo of 4D and 3D Man, the Universe Boy thing was just my first idea and gave birth to the idea of Bizzaro Universe Man being among Dark Skull's army.

@DoubleBlue Beetle and Ant Man is a nice combo, the Blue Ant maybe? With the backstory I wouldn't get too into it to leave more options for potential players.

However when I googled for Amalgams, I found this and liked the idea...

BRIEF Bio: Lee was getting a late start in college at the age of twenty-six, however his life changed when he was abducted by creatures from the 5th Dimension called Mxyzkrulls. The short green shapeshifting aliens mimiced his human behavior, even taking on more standard humanoid appearances. However when the aliens opened him up, Lee's metahuman abilities kicked in and he became two dimesional and flat on their operating table. It would take him six months to finally escape and return to Earth.

Lee took on an identity of his own, the 4D Man, and began working with a branch of the government to take down shapeshifting enemies before joining the ranks of the JL:A.

Supporting cast/characters: Mxyzkrulls [Mister Mxyzptlk + Skrulls], 4D Man's main enemies and inhabitants of the 5th dimension. Shapeshifting powers as well as the ability to teleport across dimensions.

Just realized, that's the actual canon version of Spider Boy. Except I'll make some changes to Spider Boy if that's okay? And how many characters can we have?

Was hoping for more originals rather than rehashes of already made Amalgams. Only one character per player, though Amalgams in your backstory were fine. Probably won't move forward with this since the interest doesn't seem to be high enough though. Sorry for anybody looking forward to this, I'll likely try at it again sometime later on. About to post a new iCheck up for any fans of Marvel themed stuff...
