@Dynamo Frokane To be honest, I keep looking for a truly amphibious plane. As in, it can land on the water and then submerge and function as a submarine down to a tolerable depth.

I can't even find concept art on the net for something like that. But, it would make for some great surprise attacks.

@Skepic I don't know. I'm not familiar with them. But, I've been playing with the idea for years now. It seems to me that it would require some serious limitations when it comes to hauling and weaponry but it opens alternative doors as well.

For example, attacking a coastal base through its submarine dock and then taking off to distract them while the main force comes in to bomb the distracted AA guns.

Or, firing homing missiles from just under the surface of the water to surprise flying or naval convoys.

Biggest drawback? Waterlogged machineguns don't work so well. It couldn't have the nose gun. Maybe a five charge capacitor with a laser though. That might work, being a sealed system.

Hey so Ive been recieving more than a few requests to do another Sky Warriors, it was easily one of my best RPs and i could tell you guys enjoyed it.

Originally i was going to do a spin off series about the Red Baroness, but to be honest, that was supposed to be a Co-GM effort with Section and since shes dissipated off the map. I dont really have the ploitline in mind to do it on my own.

BUT

considering we still have this amazing unfinished story, why dont we just carry on from where we left off? The Sky Warriors are in iceland and making their way through the dangerous fog mountains, so if anyone feels they can commit to the story again we can just go from there.

Obviously I know some of you might be too busy, but I can write your characters in as being docked back at the Iceland Airbase and you can rejoin whenever you wish. We can also recruit for more players if needed. So can I get a show of hands? who's ready to take to the sky again?

Yes they could make their way in around iceland but depending on the character I might have a specific event or idea how they will join us.

I considered starting again, but the opening was so good and establishing to the story that I'd rather just keep our prolouge how it is. And reading the story that has already happened is an absolute joy.

Luckily we wont have to wait too long, we can get back to the RP with minimal players. I'll do a time skip thatll explain where we left off and which pilots are back at the iceland base.

If we provisionally have

Nishizawa (scanner)
Kerry (SW)
Jango (Fixer)

We would only need our ace and hunter at minimum to get started again, and the rest could join whenever they felt.
