@KatherinWinterThe door in which the dwarven man had knocked on opened under its own power with a loud, painfully ominous creak of disuse. The room beyond the door seemed normal at first, but there was something... wrong with it in a fashion that was akin to portrait that seemed perfect to life but with a single imperfect stroke of the brush; The brain noticed that something was wrong but the eye couldn't find it right away. The air also seemed to have a chill in it that didn't seem to belong there.
A hooded figure stood in front of the mirror, the hood of the robes that he had arrived in easily hiding his face from view in the reflection of the mirror as the light of the room flickered, bathing the room in darkness for a moment before returning to normal once again. With a deep breath that sounded like it was taken by lungs that no longer needed air, a ghostly sigh escaped from lips that had never been real to begin with.
The light flickered again for a moment, but when the light returned a mere split second later the hooded figure had seemingly crossed the room to stand in the doorway, looking down at the dwarf with a grin on a face that would have given someone nightmares for years to come. When he spoke through, his tone of face actually suggested a level of playful mirth and friendly goodwill that quite frankly was so opposite the appearance of the one that used it that the brain would have to hit a wall. "
Well met my good fellow! Thank you for getting me."
Seemingly remembering himself as he stepped out of his room, John stepped to the side in order to allow what appeared to be the specter of a beautiful human woman in her prime wearing a dress that would have been considered the height of Victorian fashion glide through the air of the doorway. "
Thank you for the assistance in making myself presentable Lady Beaumont. Please go and find yourself a wonderful seat and I'll make sure to have a word with the bride about where to try and aim the bouquet; It might just be what convinces Mr Hyde to finally stop dilly dallying and make things official." Lady Beaumont let out a surprisingly cute little chuckle was her cheeks somehow darkened despite her ghostly state before she flew towards the ceremony area with a speed that risked being unsuited for a lady of her class and breeding...
Turning his attention back to the dwarf, John offered him a hand to shake as he introduced himself as
My name is John by the way. Would you mind leading the way? I don't want to accidentally take a wrong turn and look like a complete fool today of all days..."
