It also occurs to me. What does James think Cody can do to prevent their escape? Shiro has her teleportation magic and Cody doesn't have anything in his repertoire to stop that.
Like he could throw a barrier up, but I don't think that would stop teleportation magic. Because my James also stands in the way.
Also the back-up back-up escape plan is hilarious and don't make me use it XD
