Gem Item: A bansuri that when played as loudly as possible, can be heard for almost a mile. Currently, Sphene cannot use it to its full potential.


Power: Sound that comes from Sphene's breath (speech or, through woodwind and brass instruments, song) enhances the abilities of uncorrupted gems, but only if they can hear her. The amount their powers are increased is proportional to how strong the sound seems to them, whether it is because they are in close proximity or because the sound is loud overall. When she stops using her power, the effects fade over time rather than halt immediately.

Name: Rhode or Rhodie
Gem: Rhodonite
Appearance: Being just born Rhodonite’s form seems unpolished and straight forward. She stands at an average height, about 5’6, her face is oval that frames around a slightly big forehead, wide eyes and plump lips. Rhodonite’s skin is a muted blush of pink and spotted with black freckles around her eyes and cheeks. Her hair is jet black and drapes down just past her hips. Her clothes are fairly plain all black with a simple halter top that is sleeveless, form fitting and cut short to expose her middle section. Pants fit are low rising but baggy on the leg fit that tightens in a bit more at the ankle.
Gem Placement: Her gem is in the center of her forehead and is an oval cut. It is pink that is marbled with what look like ink stains that mix into base pink color of the gem.
Power: Rhodonite is able to see and sense the energy signatures of living things and see auras surrounding living things. She can see the energy of people’s happiness and sadness and every emotion along with their unique life energy. This becomes increasingly overwhelming as earth has an abundance of life and causes a sensory overload for Rhodie more often than not.

Details: she is of Romani/Jerusalemite decent, being lighter brown (almost bronze) in skin tone, with dark brown hair and steel blue eyes. Her hair is incredibly long, and reminiscent of amythist's/jaspers, but better kept and different shade. She loves dresses, and prefers to be barefoot. She wears natural-cut gemstone silver rings on each finger, changing them every day. She wears a necklace with a rose-quarts hanging on a silver latch attached to a silver necklace. A silver headdress that has a curious white polished/cut crescent stone on it, inside the crescent is a small natural-cut golden rutilated quartz. She wears silver anklets and bracelets as well

Biography:She was born into a modern "Gypsie/Romani" family, travelling around allot in her life, she had found many different locations in the world growing up, seen gem teleportation pads (unknowing of what they are), and even the strawberry fields left on the war-grounds. Even an old kindergarten. She was raised pretty naturally though, and was taught basic math, how to read, and english, as well as other languages. Not all she learnt was by her parents but from other family members and such, they all also taught her they're own little beliefs, but the one that stuck with her the most was that all gemstones, stones, and crystals had life, and supernatural powers, not like "living gem people" but more like, each stone had some sort of property that bettered you physically, mentally, or spiritually. She would as a small child, and still even now, collect stones that she thought had some sort of quality that made it different from your average rock. She amassed a few in her life, enough to wear, having had then made into bracelets, necklaces, anklets, rings, and even a headdress. She was planned to an arranged marriage, but she didn't want that, she felt like she still had much time still had so much to see, So she ran away.
