Once he went through the vortex, he thought he'd be floating in space or something. However, that wasn't the case. He felt his body come in contact with the cold hard ground. "Ah crap..." He groaned as he rose to a sitting position. It didn't hurt as much as he thought, more like he was caught in surprise. His eyes travelled to the vortex that was now closing. He began to look around and immediately noticed that they certainly aren't in the house anymore and he doubted it was anywhere in Earth as well, considering that the buildings were weirdly made and the sun wasn't even visible or giving off any light. Their only light sources were the cracks in boards of the buildings and the broken lamp posts. There was also some sort of thing limping away from them but Will honestly couldn't tell what it was exactly.

Will then turned to the two people he came in with, both seeming physically fine. "Thanks a lot for catching me." He said jokingly before standing up and then dusting himself off. Since Mason was already tending to Juliet, he decided to walk around, mostly to calm himself down and to start thinking rationally. He was panicking a little in the inside because nothing was familiar in here. After some minutes, he would come back to the group. "It's obvious that this place is the other side of the vortex, another world I would suppose if we were to take the voice from before seriously as he said that 'the portal to Linus's world has opened.'"

"I would guess this place is where that raspy voice is coming from. And it's somehow related to your father considering that the voice mentioned killing him." He wanted to get that out before he forgets about it later on. Juliet looked a little shaken though, maybe something happened in the short span of when she appeared and when Mason appeared.

"Do I l-look 'alright' to y-you?" she finally replied in a hissed tone while brushing herself off. Instead of dust or dirt, little particles would come off her clothes. Juliet made a frustrated sigh then pointed over to the maze entrance. "I don't see any other place to go," was all the girl said before dropping her arm back down. She didn't give them time to react as she stomped away into the buildings. There wasn't much inside other than more buildings, but Juliet didn't get very far after all, only going around a corner and ending up at two pathways. Ugh, work, Juliet thought to herself then yelled over her shoulder for the two.

@RainbowFactory "I don't know, if I did I wouldn't ask y-" he stopped when Juliet got and left. Leaving him alone to think. That voice, did it kill him? Has he been dead this whole time? Mason's mind was racing, he had little to no memory of his father, and here he is now, stuck in god knows where with his two closest friends, with voices talking of killing him. It was a voice, just.a.voice. He's alive... Mason told himself and began to walk over to will but flinched when Juliet yelled for them both "Uhh, I'm coming...jesus"He mumbled as he turned to her direction

Will followed where Juliet was pointing, basically, the only pathway they could take as of now. Then Juliet quickly stomped away before he could say anything else. He looked at Mason then back at Juliet and then hurrying to catch up to her once she had yelled for him and Mason. Unlike the other two, Will was surprisingly calm, having walked around earlier alone to leave him in his thoughts. Besides, he had tons of coping mechanisms for stressful events.

He looked at the two paths, looking back and forth before looking back at the two. "Where to now?" While most people would say stick to the right and you'll eventually find your way out, he wasn't too sure about this place. Maybe one wrong turn could kill them or something and he didn't want to risk that and have it on his head.

Juliet pointed to the closest opening which was to her left, a bit smaller than the opposite one with a turn not far from her view. There was a turn to the right inside the chosen pathway. "I'm going that way, okay?" she said in a low tone. Her throat was still itchy from all the talking and yelling. Without another word or warning Julie walked to the path, mostly making heavy footsteps, and leaving the boys to think about what to do.

After turning the corner the girl saw a deadend, but far ahead was something slightly shining. She ran to it, swiping it up and turning back to the entrance's direction while holding the object. It was a long, shiny pipe that was rusted at one curved end. When Juliet tapped it with a finger, it was sharp and rough even when only making soft contact, almost piercing her skin. Perfect weapon for those weird computer people things, she thought with a smirk.

As she was busy doing this Mason turned to Will. "Alright, c'mon before she has to snap at us again," he remarked, going to the other pathway that was left at a slow pace, enough that Will could keep up. All he could think about was what that voice said about his dad, and as much as he wanted to push that thought out of his head, he simply couldn't.

"Guys, I got something! A deadend, but also something else!" Juliet yelled, cupping one hand around her mouth. The end of the pathway she was on was actually directly next to the next pathway's entrance, so they'd be able to hear.

"Where in the hell are we...?" he said aloud in a half confused and half scared tone. They were brought here because some old computer that hasn't been touched in years, and now it blasted a portal then this happened... After a few moments of them walking into the other pathway and came to another pair of trails, there were loud footsteps behind them then Juliet crashing on top of Mason. "Sup."

@RainbowFactoryMason was lost in thought as he and Will continued down the path they took, a million thoughts wee racing through hs head, so many that it was a wonder he didn't get a headache. Maybe she is having better luck then us? He said to will, as they weren't getting much of any where. "Guys, I got something! A deadend, but also something else!" He heard her yell close by. Yep, thought so. He said as he turned around to find Juliet running for them with a pipe, straight for mason Wait a minu-GAH! Was all he could say when she ran straight into him.

"sup" was all she said. WHAT THE HELL JULIE?! he said, annoyed by what just happened.

Will was looking around as they walked, trying to find anything interesting. Juliet had taken the other path. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to leave her alone? Then again, she was fully capable of defending herself. It was then that Mason spoke up. He shrugged, "Maybe." Before he could add anything to that thought, he could hear Juliet's voice. He turned around to see that she was actually running at full speed at them... or well, Mason in particular.

The blond was so sure that Juliet would stop just before the collision, but she didn't, and they both went down. Will couldn't help but laugh at them although he swiftly silenced himself when he heard that Mason was a little annoyed. "Come now, having cute girl crash onto you isn't so bad. In fact, a lot of guys would want to be in your position." He joked before moving to help Juliet off of Mason and then helping the latter get up.

"So I'll assume that you found that pipe there."

He shouted as he went into a flustered fit, falling back down shortly after Ow... Was all he said when he did. Sometimes I really hate you two, you know that? he said with an annoyed tone before hiding his flustered face in his hood.

Juliet did a cheeky smirk at Mason then helped herself up while grabbing Will to hoist herself. "Yeah. Seems like a pretty good weapon just in case. We might find more stuff like these," she explained while carefully brushing herself off. She didn't react to Will's comment though. Didn't even seem to acknowledge it. She winced slightly at Mason's yelling then looked back to him, bursting into laughter as he went into turtle-shell mode on the ground. An idea popped up in her head as she kneeled next to him.

"Come out come out," she teased while flicking a finger around at Mason's hood. "We have to continue on. We have no time to make out while a bunch of monsters might get our asses." Juliet made Will hold the pipe by shoving it in his hands then grabbed Mason on the ground, carrying him bridesmaid style, a devilish smirk on her face. "Y'know, you should be the one doing this but oh well. Not like you can pick me up anyway," she continued on while taking steady steps down the path, a bit wobbly from the more weight but kept the same pace.

Another two paths now, one straight ahead and another going to the left. They both seemed to have turns, so Juliet stopped at where they intersected.

Will didn't react too much to Mason's outburst and then shrugging. He really wasn't too affected with what Mason had said. Especially since the guy became flustered and then hid his face from the both of them. He just couldn't help but chuckle at it. Poor Mason. He always seemed to be the person that is teased.

He looked unsurely at Juliet as she shoved the pipe in his hands. He watched in awe as Juliet carried Mason... bridal style. He burst out laughing, couldn't even hold it in. It took him a few seconds to stop and then began following the two. "This is just too hilarious!" He said before spinning the pipe in his hands. Juliet was right, this pipe was a pretty good weapon. It was pretty sharp and pretty light.

"This is going to be a redundant question now... but where do we go?"

W-what the hell are you doing now?! Mason asked almost instantly after he was picked up off of the ground by Juliet. "Julie, put me down, NOW!" he told her, clearly about to go crazy if she didn't let him down, but ignored her completley when Will began to laugh. "SHUT UP AND HELP ME. DAMMIT WILL!" he exclaimed while trying to hide the painfully obvious flustered state he was in. "Damn the both of you..." was all he said before struggling to get away from Juliet.

She kept the tight grip around Mason, curling him even closer and her grin becoming wider. She turned to the closest path, the one on the left. "C'mon, lets go there first," Juliet suggested. She didn't take another moment to start walking over there, paying no mind to the boy in her arms struggling like an angry child. Another two paths came up, but both were obvious deadends. At one end there was an axe leaning against the walls, and the other had a partially rusted chain stuck between two buildings. The chain looked like it could get out by some force. It seemed to be held between the buildings by something shoved between.

"C'mon weirdos, choose whatever. I don't care about switching stuff, and there might be more along the way," Juliet said while seeing the ends, dropping Mason on his back. She grabbed back to pipe to let Will go ahead and leaned on her shoulder against the corner. Julie made a small yawn as her eyes were a bit more drooped now.

Will once more ignored Mason's pleas for help... or well aggressively trying to make him help. While he knew how embarrassing that was, he wasn't going to stop Juliet from doing what she wants. It's not that Juliet is a girl and thus has a higher priority, it's more like he's more afraid of what Juliet could say and do than whatever Mason could manage.

He looked at the two paths and paid no mind as Mason was dropped on the ground. "I'll take the risk and go for the axe then." For some reason, he had a sinking feeling about this road. Then again, he had that feeling ever since he got here. Call it a pickpocket's alarm. He began walking towards the axe.

Julie I swear to god if you don't put me down right no- Mason got his wish as he was dropped flat on his back Ow, well I asked for this... He said before noticing the chain stuck between the buildings The chain's mine. He told them both as he got up and went over to it, noticing Will took the axe. Mason grabbed the chain and pressed his foot up against one of the buildings, straining to pull the chain out before doing just that and fall back... Why me... he remarked before getting back up and wrapping the chain around his hand so that there was enough of it to hit something from about a foot away, Mason tied a small know around his hand so that he could just flick his wrist and the wrapped chain would fall down, ready to swing at anyting. Ghost Rider eat your heart out. He said before walking back over to Juliet and Will, At one end of the chain, there was a ball, covered in spikes and slightly pixelated. Like a weapon in a video game. Let's go, hopefully we don't have to fight something soon...

Juliet was too busy trying to keep focused and stay up to make any commentary. Her expression was completely blank with her eyes moving back and forth between the two. Will was going towards the axe, and Mason was going to the chain stuck between the buildings. It didn't seem much to her, but the slightly thinner chain stuck between a wider opening did make her wonder. It wasn't until Mason put a foot on a building tugging the chain out to reveal a spiky distorted ball, giving it more use. In her head she was thinking about what might be happening in real life. If Julie was already sleepy it must be around midnight now, maybe even past that. It didn't feel like they were there for long though, but it must just be her. By the time Mason got to her she was peacefully sleeping against the building corner, still in the same standing position.

Will quickly swiped the axe and headed back. He was more glad with the fact that nothing happened when he took it. Since it's just an axe, it wasn't too fancy. Not that he minded, at least he had something to protect himself with. Although, honestly, he would've preferred a metal bat, but he was happy with it too at least.

He made his way back to the two, placing the head of the axe on his shoulder as he walked. His eyes landed on Juliet first. She was sleeping so peacefully... but that wasn't what he was surprised about. It was that she was sleeping while standing that truly got him. He looked at Mason, "I could carry her for the meantime... but what do you think?"

Mason shrugged at the question I have no id-Wait, yes I do. Mason smirked and picked up Juliet the way she picked him up, nearly dropping her but managed to keep her in his arms. Revenge Time He smiled mischievously and carried her off to god knows where. So help me Will if you add anything to this, you WILL be the first to get whacked with this thing. He warned him as he carried a sleeping fluster queen off through the maze.

Juliet was already in a deep enough sleep to not be disturbed by their talking, nor being picked up by Mason while being carried back to the main path. When going back to the path that led straight ahead, it took a left then another right to reveal three more paths. The first one took a turn to the right but seemed to continue on. There was shuffling coming down that path like something was there, but the light pats of its feet didn't hint if it was one of those humanoid monsters or not. The middle path widened a little into a square-shaped area, the ground looking softer with blankets and towels scattered here and there. There was a woven basket with the handle broken and the items inside looked like the person who made it struggled to organize everything. There were simple things like chips, snack bars, and water. Just enough to last for the three children for a little longer. The last path was similar to the first but turned further down to the left. Juliet was already sleeping and the middle path had food, so it seemed like the best place to go to first.

Will was willing to let Mason have his way. He's just worried on what will happen after she wakes up. Oh well. He simply shrugged in response to Mason's mischief. As they went through the maze, he idly began playing with the axe, spinning it and swinging it depending on his mood. Once they reached the three paths, Will frowned.

"I've seen enough movies to know that some of these are traps." He then looked to the left path where he could hear some scurrying. He was oh so curious. His grip on the axe tightened."I can check out the left if you want."

Sure, go ahead, I'll get over there in a moment. Mason said as he caught eye of the middle area, laid out like a picnic. What the? Think maybe someone is on our side? he suggested as he brought Juliet over to on of the blankets and sat her down as easily as possible without dropping her on her head like a baby, as much as he wanted to... We've got another friend around here I think. He remarked as he follow will over to the left path. When they got there. There was nothing. You go ahead and take a rest with Julie, I'll check the other side. he told Will as he walked back and passed Juliet, sleeping like a log. Demon... He thought as he undid the chain around his arm to attack anything when he went down the right path, at the end was something Mason may never have forgotten.

Oh dear lord, what in hell? In front of mason was a disfigured...man? missing an arm and leg, attempting to open a bag. it's skin was a broken pattern consisting of orange and yellow... Uh...WILL? I think we have a problem... was all Mason said before tightening his grip around the chain, trying to determine in his head if this...thing was a friendly or not.
