Indeed. ONE more person was interested in the Avatar which they PM'd to me but I have given them a deadline. WHICH IS ACTUALLY FOUR HOURS FROM NOW SO.

@Dawnscroll I don't believe that it does include you. The original time was setup for the two competing firebenders, and now apparently this third avatar hopeful, and that one was communicated through private messaging. You submitted the first half of your non-bender after the time limit was placed on the above individuals, so I don't think you're held to that same restriction. That said, originally we had a butt ton of people wanting the non-bender spot, and now you're only the second applicant, so I imagine either the GM will be pestering the people that expressed interest in the interest check thread, or will give you a deadline to compare with our Kyoshi warrior.

Just my own line of reasoning, though. GM could be acting totally differently from my understanding.

The Agni Kai

Well @banjoanjo and @Ellion you both presented good characters! I like both firebending instructors and they both feel very unique in their own ways which I appreciate. I like both characters and concepts and I can see how they would definitely both be valuable members of Team Avatar BUT there can only be one and so, therefore, I have to choose. Only one of you may have their honor!

The deciding factor would probably have to be which character stuck out to me the most in this particular case and upon full review of both characters I have decided upon a winner. Congratulations banjoanjo as we welcome Kazuno Han to Team Avatar. Ellion thank you for being such a wonderful sport and a general pleasure to have in the thread. I'm so grateful for your interest and I really like Nai - perhaps she could join us in a later book? Well done to both of you and the roster will be updated shortly. Thank you again for participating and for your patience with this lazy bitch.

So, it has officially been three days since you submitted your character and while I know some interest does still exist for the Earthbender I'm going to be honest and say that I really love Shailesh. He's a very cute little wanderer. So I'm just going to officially offer you the spot and welcome you to Team Avatar. I apologise for making you wait for such a long time.

The Cycle Continues: The Next Avatar

Okay, so I'll be honest and say this was a really difficult choice. @ProPro and @WanderBug you guys both presented amazing Avatar's and if I could make another Avatar spot I honestly would. Sadly, one Avatar per cycle. (At least as far as the canon has shown us the next Avatar could be twins idk) and that means I have to choose. Both characters tied for me in basically every aspect. I love both their personalities, histories, motivation and how even though there were similarities there were also a ton of distinct differences. Which basically makes choosing a whole lot harder. (THANKS GUYS FOR MAKING GOOD CHARACTERS GOSH)

So I have to choose and I decided to go with the concept that I found more striking. Congratulations to ProPro as we welcome the new Avatar, Sandbending Princess - Shamo Hua. The idea of a Sandbending Avatar just really struck me and it isn't something I've seen in other roleplays either. WanderBug thank you so much for your application and your truly fantastic Avatar. I loved her and I'm really sorry that she couldn't get the spot this time around. ; u;
