I'm more leaning Gary Johnson.

He's not gonna explode my ass trying to fight China or something. I'd rather not get shot by the PLA.

If Trump actually acts like Trump while in office, I suspect the Republicans might go ahead and allow an impeachment to proceed the first time he acts too Trumpy. They'll wine and make a fuss of course, but secretly free up votes to support it so they can go business as usual under Pence.

But what is more likely (well a Clinton presidency is still most likely but beyond that) is that Trump will be out of his league and the Republicans will leash him.

Gary Johnson would sign the TPP, nuff said. It's gotta be Trump. Anyone who's willing to support the TPP, either doesn't know what it'll do, or doesn't give a shit about the American people.

Don't know if I've said this before, but there's something inescapably sexy about Ann Coulter.

@Vilageidiotx Actually it's not "Business as usual" under Pence because should a president be impeached and convicted (impeach just means to bring up the charges) both the president and the VP are forced out of office.

Then if the presidency is filled by the rule of succession, the US House Speaker becomes president.

My suspicion would be a special US election would happen.

That's only if it is the election itself brought into question. If the President is impeached due to something that he does while in office, and the Vice President isn't implicated in the wrong doing, then the Vice President takes over. Out system treats those involved as individuals, so the Vice President isn't going to be charged with a crime the President alone does.

Trump will most likely pass TPP. He'll either whine for a few weeks then pass it saying he had to compromise to get his wall built, or he will veto it, allow it to be reborn later on in different clothes, and let it slip by in the political off season. TPP is one of those things, so pre-ordained by American capitalism, that there is no holding it back. The forces for it are simply waaaaayyy too strong for the forces against it to succeed. The best victory you can hope for is to change the name. Will it fuck over the American people? Yes. But there is no stopping that short of figuring out a way to kill capitalism wholesale, which is a tall order to say the least.

Yes she's 55, but I really don't think she looks it. She's got those cheekbones or something, and she's actually got a pretty great body if you see her in a tight t-shirt and shorts... just sayin' (daaaayyymmm). Plus, she's charismatic as hell.

It may be set in motion, and there may be no stopping it, but this doesn't mean it should be supported. Johnson puts his name behind it, as though to make people think it's a good thing, simply "because free market" or some other buzzword nonsense. At the very least, he can be honest with the American people, and tell them that they're getting a bad deal. Bernie was open about that. Even if Trump wins, and lets it pass, at least he's letting us know that we're getting fucked. Gary Johnson is only helping the elite stay in power, and keeping the public uninformed about what's killing their jobs, driving wages down, and letting trillions of dollars flow out of the country.

And now the cat's out of the bag, and the TPP is so hated that even Hillary has to pretend to be against it, yet Gary is still standing by this deal that everyone knows is bad for them.

I seriously think that what people love about Trump (aside from the wall and the Muslims, of course), is that he's open and straightforward about why we're being fucked, how we're being fucked, how long we've been fucked for, and how hard the thrusts are. I've never heard any other politician talk about the logistics of how China abuses the world's free-trade agreement by artificially devaluing its own currency, to make it impossible for western countries to compete in manufacturing. Trump actually did that, and no one ever gave him credit for it.

Discounting Johnson because, being a Libertarian, his ideas about economics are cartoonish and can be dismissed off hand, it isn't strange for politicians in the US to denounce the TPP. It doesn't particularly stand out with Trump. Opposing those sorts of trade agreements gets you points with working class Americans, and a lot of people have been at it for a while. As you pointed out, Bernie did it, as has a number of people of the fringes of both the right and left. It's more common to hear on the ground I suppose, among local politicians in their campaigns. It's the centrists that have been pushing it.

It seems disingenuous to me, however, for somebody to come out against TPP and then push a bunch of right-wing BS behind it. If you are trying to help the working class, you are not coming from that direction, because there is no way any of that can ever help anybody but the aristocracy. If he was, like, flanking the Sanders camp from the left, maybe I could have got behind that, but coming from the right makes it come off less like something he really gives a shit about and more like a populist carrot right before the reaganomic stick.

Not to say Clinton cares, but shit, I'm not voting for her either.

Yes she's 55, but I really don't think she looks it. She's got those cheekbones or something, and she's actually got a pretty great body if you see her in a tight t-shirt and shorts... just sayin' (daaaayyymmm). Plus, she's charismatic as hell.

I never really liked the method of charisma favored by the right. Like, the entire Nuremburg rally style, where you act really really mad and nasty about trivial shit, it has always just annoyed me. It annoys me when the left tries to copy it too. I know i've seen her do that, and O'Reilly of course... and Hannity and Limbaugh have a version of it. And there for a while MSNBC was playing at a left wing version of it (they might still be but I haven't paid attention to them for a while). And it is especially grating to me to have that sort of anger presented by, like, some rich-ass pundit. You give me a poor motherfucker on the street and I'll feel his emotions, but if your put some yacht-owning piece of shit on there yelling like they've ever did anything meaningful with their lives, and all it inspires in me is nostalgia for the old guillotine days.

@Wade Wilson I'm sorry, and I apologize that you've been going through it.

But as you said, 'Something people need to get out of their heads'. This isn't just something in my head, even if they do have a better life, they still just want to make you feel horrible.

And I have to disagree with you on physical bullying. People who have been physically bullied literally have black eyes, red marks on their bodies, and are just beaten and bruised by their bully. Meanwhile, a cyber bully can only get at you with words typing, trying to see if they can piss someone off.

I won't change my mind though. I still feel this way about. But I'll say it again, if that's how you feel, I'm sorry and I don't understand and probably never will understand. I respect what you say, so I won't argue with you. So try to be positive, and I know that it can be hard. I mean, for a while I thought I had friends only to realize they were just bullies, making me think they were my friends.

And like I said, even if a cyberbully seems to possibly have a better life. There is no such thing as a life better than yours. Maybe a person is rich and have multiple cars and can do what they want, but are going through depression and are lonely, possibly even lost a family member. While another person may be broke and possibly have someone to care about, has no depression, a possible nice life without money. Someone may be popular at school, but may not be able to graduate and become a bum while a nerd who has no friends can possibly become a scientist.

It all depends on perspective I guess, I would quote something dear to my heart in these situations, but you may not like it.

dw, it's alright, we're just here to share our opinions.
i guess when it comes to physical bullying, for me i can take it. physical pain doesn't exactly faze me that much, if i'm honest.
as for mental and emotional bullying, that's when it really gets hard for me. i may act like a dick and like i don't give many fucks on the outside, but inside it's all paranoia and borderline depression. i can't remember if i touched upon this in what i previously wrote, but my mind is like a fucking magnifying glass. any flaws i see in myself, it makes bigger and bigger until i can't take it. i'm constantly beating myself up over it and calling myself pathetic, stupid, etc and it just makes it worse but i can't stop. and then when some dickhead comes along, thinking it's all cool to promote suicide and make jokes about people with depression who actually feel the need to slice their skin because they just can't take things anymore, it just really gets to me. even if i don't wear my feelings on my sleeve, they're there, and they're my absolute weakness.

sorry if it seemed like i was mad at you at all, i've just experienced people that share your opinion that act like utter dicks. it kinda reminded me of past experiences, too. thank you for your kind words, though, and i'm glad that you're able to come to terms with the fact that we have different opinions. you're a cool dude.

@Wade Wilson Thank you for the compliment. Even though I'm not really cool.

As for you seeming pissed. Hey, I noticed I did step on a sensitive topic for a lot of people. I am actually surprised you didn't tell me to fuck off.

I try not to get in my feelings when I'm in an argument. I also like to come to the terms with such things. Though to be honest, for some reason, I don't feel emotions for anyone on the internet. Not even for friends. I can say I'm sorry to something, and truly mean it, but on the inside I've just gone bland, so it might explain why I don't try to drag on dead arguments.

Anyways, now thinking about it. I've been hit and slammed into a locker literally today at school. Fantastic. I guess we might both be victims of two different sides of bullying. (Although I wouldn't call what I'm going through bullying, because I would fight them in a second, but I'm trying to not get in trouble in my school year.)

Just be okay, try to have a nice day.

The Alt-right is tired and boring now.

This generation needs to man up.

Fire Emblem's storylines are all very poor.

Virgins who say 'sex is overrated' are cringe.

Kendrick Lamar is overrated.

Ninendo Games are roughly the same amazing quality theyve always been

Trump or Clinton will still punch the middle class in the gut either way.

Trump's gonna cut back on clean-air and eco-friendly laws to help maximize production in our industries, but in how many years is that feasible? Would tariffs on Chinese products be effective enough to stop the Chinese machine? How much would those cheaply made products cost in the future with a more regulated manufacturing sector like ours? How much are we willing to give up to retake that 50's sort of vibe where the entire nation was obscenely rich? (A working-class man afford a house in the suburbs nowadays? Borderline impossible without a spouse to help.)

Barely anyone talks about the middle class in concern with taxation, but hell, if you get to that point, it's fucking hard to regain that lost money without gambling it on stocks or taking risks on the right company in the right industry.

That top 1%? They can just set the price on their products on the market accordingly, regardless of monopolism. But the middle class can't climb any higher, either.

And all those taxpayer dollars, for powering a de facto war that hadn't really ended.

Sword Art Online is a show for kids who wrap their whole hand around their pencils when they write.

Furries are still just as embarrassing as ever.

Chris Pratt is a poor actor.

Lil Wayne is finally irrelevant.

If the Last Of Us was a movie it'd suck.

Christianity is on its way out. This is the first year that less people identified as Christian than the previous year. I'm glad for that, because it seems like it'll be the birth of a larger variety of religions.
