Personally I'm more on Myke's boat- I work and have frequent non-work related business to attend to IRL five days a week. So I'll likely be posting 2-3 times per week. (I'll -try- to do more. But I can't promise any more than what I said.)

That said, I'll try to hammer out a post here before work in an hour.

@R31GN Thank you so much :) I have to say, I personally find fours to be a really interesting character - there's a lot to work with from a neurotic and detached young surgeon.

A little short something up before work.

Threw up a short post getting Luciel into her optimal combat range; up in your face. If it's a human, they're going down. If it's a Sangheili or a Jiralhanae, she shall shit her britches.

Hmm... Necro, I'd rather not start a firefight right now.. You could probably spot the people that entered the building, but not 15 potential hostile, preferably.

Also, I'm working on a post right now. I started it just before @Treue posted, I can probably work that particular post in, but after that it's all getting away from me.

EDIT: Just to stress, Berne making remarks about your characters isn't reflective of my view of them, I just feel the need to explain his actions. If I take too many liberties, please reprimand me.

@TTNoobs Sorry if I messed you up there. Also, remarks IC are fine, that's how your character acts and perceives things. Basically, I just see it as your character forming views on people.

EDIT: Also, I'd love to do a sequel to this, if our characters live through, and if we see it through to the end, later in the war, when the covenant have been glassing planets for fun for decades. I admit, the way 343 has handled the lore has made the post H3 human storyline bore me terribly, and dampen my enthusiasm, but peeking a little further into the Human Covenant War would be awesome as a goal.

@Treue Colonists in Halo: Reach seemed to be mostly Hungarian, few of the Western European nations seem to have emigrated to the colonies. I imagine that France, Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal etc. confined their colonies to the solar system, since they, along with the US, were richer and more able to fund colonies when it was just starting up.

It's all good, that'd explain why you appear here for extended periods of time though.

EDIT: I just remembered that Bavaria is a part of Germany. Austria will probably be the furthest west I go with this.

@Treue There's actually two countries between Bavaria and Hungary, and Bavaria is a very rich region, especially Munich. Obviously, you can craft your character as you like, but I think the point of the colonists being generally Eastern European was to reflect the demographics that emigrated to the new world in the 19th century - those displaced by poor economic circumstances, or trapped still in feudal systems, who looked at the US, where the sons of farmers were millionaires and had statues in their likeness, and saw opportunity. I imagine that people left Earth in Halo for the same reason, because their homes were less prosperous, hence, they tend not to be G20 countries, as Germany is.

That being said, your character having German ancestry could still be an interesting angle. They'd probably still know Hungarian though, since it's Reach's first language for everyone but the military.

(Also, apologies, I may be taking this too seriously. I just love talking about Space-Colonies, the idea of them is why I do the slug of an Aerospace Engineering degree I'm studying right now)
