Don't worry. He will just wait until they stand in front of a mountain ridge they need to get over, then step or even jump onto Yaroslav's ribcage and shoulders until they collapse, and then claim: "Hey guys! It seems I have found a way to get people through this tiny gap in the rocks over there. I believe there's a secret passage behind that will save us several days of stressful and dangerous journey! Who wants to be next ? Andred folks preferred, because so far they are the only ones this method has been proven to work!"

So I just read the IC and the OOC and caught myself up to the goings on of the RP (was busy this week somewhat) and would like to say that for the most part, you guys are doing very well! Seriously, you're talking to each other, making well written posts (some might want to re-read to get the correct wording for certain things, but not too much of a big deal), and you've got good characters and effort. You guys get a gold star.

That being said, remember everyone. Don't make too many assumptions on the nations you're from, the lore, and remember to keep consistent with your backstories. For instance, I am quite certain (though of course it is a crazy world) that none of you have seen Elven silk or drank Guaren juice before, since those are both very well prized by Silver and Wood Elves, respectfully, and they aren't exactly trade items that would see the north. Also, don't make assumptions on things like the pattern of the necklace Vanya gave y'all and such as well. Things like that. But no biggie, as I have said. If there's ever anything you want to clarify with me, tag me here and I'll be more than happy to make sure you get the correct info.
Remember though, the better/more realistic your posts, the better loot you get. goldgoldgoldgold

Note: Calanon and Beren are there to talk to as well (and Geradin of course), if you want to mingle with them. I'll give a post friday night once more! Something tells me my Pathfinder group that @The Fated Fallen and I are might be focused on another character than ours for a bit maybe

a) Eugh, don't remind me. Bloody vampires running around talking all the time and being diplomatic. That's the real problem with them, they stop everyone from being barbarians and having fun with wanton murder. Hogging up the session with useless things like story. It's the worst

b) I understand you asking us to check with you before we post, but honestly it's pretty impractical to message you before every post and wait for hours for a reply (not your fault, different time zones.)

Perhaps if you made these things clearer in your posts? Like describing the rarity of these items a bit more precisely, for example how none of us should know what Guaren juice is if it's so restricted. Or what the necklaces actually look like instead of being a nebulous object, I wanted to describe it and only said they all looked different so people wouldn't be locked into one option

What ? Gold ? Damn! I was hoping for something more interesting like... depleted uranium, for example. If An-Hasst had crossbow bolts made out of this... Or perhaps a vial of Skayleigh growth elixir. Being enraged he would be crazy enough to use it, perhaps.

Yeah, definitely feel free to message me if you have any suggestions to make. And I agree with Fated, it sounds like you have some really intricate lore prepared so it is difficult to know what we can and can't assume, such as the look of the necklaces, etc... If you don't want to be explicit IC it might be nice for a growing OOC glossary as you reveal more to us. That way you don't have to reveal everything right off but can add important bits of lore for us to keep in mind when interacting with new things.

As a side note, Fetzen, you chose a rather unfortunate name for your character. I can't look at it without reading "An Asshat" and I swear I'm not dyslexic.

1)It is my fault too, you're right. I'll do my best to describe things and place the lore in the posts so y'all know. Like I said, it's not a big enough deal for you to check with me before every post. Just check with me if you're confused or question something. But yes, I shall make sure y'all know to the best of my abilities^^


2) I wasn't meaning anyone specific with the wording. I also realize that english is not everyone's native language. But sure I could help out. It was like 3 things though, I was only mentioning it for the future, not that it was a problem atm.

3)Well with the necklace example, if I gave an item it'd only be natural that the players don't decide exactly what they look like. For instance I could give a hauburk of chainmail and someone can just say it has a bunch of jewels on it which I didn't put, or that it was particularly rusted when in fact it is of fine make, etc.

Imagine the gifts Vanya is giving you like what Galadriel gave the Fellowship when they left Lothlorien. Most of it was stuff only Elves had, and most of the fellowship (other than exceptionally well traveled people like Aragorn) had not seen such things before.



But I wanna stress that y'all are doing awesome

I don't want to be that poor elk that could be used to carrying elves and then suddenly has to make friends with an exceptionally large and bulky skayleigh in full armor :D

(An-Hasst wouldn't care a shit, because if he had to face the teleport spell he would have to scrap the same thing out of his pants afterwards) XD
