Regions:
The Ruins of Desarune: The Ruins of Desarune was originally a massive city that had existed before the Cataclysm. Tides and wayward storms had long since destroyed it’s civilians, and buried it under layers of rock. Over the ages earth quakes and heavier storms had plagued the lands, causing large fractures and generating massive plateaus.

When Del Sombra had noticed it, she quickly set foot to reworking the ruins into something more usable for her purposes, her first dungeon. Tunnels had been dug out revealing it’s buried streets and allowing entrance into it’s many residences and buildings. Halls had been carefully outfitted with some of her most fiendish traps.

Rooms were occupied by monsters, and creatures who thrived in such environments. And the cherry on top, displayed the god’s fiendish nature when it came to protecting secrets. Several massive monsters, often referred to as “indescribable horrors” in stories, roam the halls in which no mere mortal has any hope to kill it on their own. The creatures are undying to weapons and spells, and requires the work of a miracle from the gods to extinguish their life.
After beating it down to a state that it should be dead on normal terms… the mortal must call upon the gods to wish it dead, and even then… there’s a slim chance of that working correctly.

And in the very center of this massive dungeon… lies the Agartha.

The Agartha: Often called the Library of secrets, exists on an unearthly plane. It’s entrance exists in the center of Desarune, and remains heavily guarded. It’s custodians, Sphinxes, roams the halls as both caretakers, and guardians of it’s archive. Most of her children appear to have some sort of link here.

Secrets both sold, and spent appear and disappear in it’s shelves as time flows in the eartly plane. Censored Secrets are casted away to the wind, and while still exist, are lost forever and no cat may draw upon it.

But of course, over the many years of life. Del Sombra has collected an expansive archive of not just secrets. But knowledge as well from the exploits of her and her childrens curiosity. Many published books, scrolls, and maps often find themselves copied onto it’s shelves, and remains permanently for the rest of eternity. And just like any other secret, the cats draw upon them when asked.

Land of Luck :

The Land of Luck was a place built before the Cataclysm happened. It was a place where dreams came true , people would never die of anything but old age and a place of love between mortals. It was Ashevelen's playground for the most part , only those that lead a life in which they believed with all their heart that Luck existed were permitted after some time to be sent here to live happily ever after. This land is now a legend to the people left in the world often referred as a fairy tale land. Many mortals believed that there would be a map that would lead them to this place and many died trying to follow the supposed map.
Even after the Silence mortals look for this promised land. Never finding it , never knowing that only Ashevelen has the power to send them there , not a "mystical" map made by a mad hermit.

Made my own region. Thoughts people ? :)

Tarrasque: Nightmarish colossal creatures, and often described as indescribable horrors, was created by Sombra listening to and using the confessions of children’s and the insane’s nightmares to create the living nightmare with Kalla’s Colossus and an iguana as a template. These beast cannot be tamed, tempted, and –gods help you- killed under any sort of convenient means. These creatures are hell bent on the consumption of all that it considers its prey, enemy, trespassers, or small enough and moving to be thought of as food. And exist purely for it’s destructive power.

These undying creatures feature a unique ability that prevents normal magic and weapons from dealing fatal damage. In the event of a fatal blow… the monster will drop dead. But it won’t stay dead. Even if it’s body was reduced to ash and blown to the wind, the monster will regenerate within a week and return back to life.

If a limb is removed, it will regrow back in a few minutes. The monster is also able to reattach a limb by holding it in place while it’s regenerative ability reconnects it.

To be sure the creature remains dead, the mortals must call upon the gods and ask for their favor in the matter.
This creature has only been seen once by man. A Lordling sent an army of soldiers to conquer the goddess’s dungeon. Even after many soldiers had died to the traps and previous creatures. There was still SCORES left. And then they stumbled on the first of many Tarrasque.

The creature fought with an unnerving passion, and systematically reduced the army by a quarter a minute. When only a handful were left alive. They immediately began to flee with this thing hot on their heals.

More and more died. They tore through a near by village, sending it to it’s doom. And yet the creature persisted it’s chase. The soldiers thought they were safe when they boarded their ships. But this demented monstrosity bounded off the land and came crashing down on their ships… sending it to oblivion.

The creature sank to the depths of the ocean. Many thought it was dead… but the occasional signs of bubbles showed that it was still very much alive. Just forever trapped in it’s cold prison with the pressure of the ocean slowing it down as it makes it gradual return to the surface.



Fortunately... there's only one location they are found. And they tend to not stray too far away from their hunting grounds.

To those who played DnD... and know just how terrifying this fucker is.

I kind of wish you could all see my brainstorming process. It involves me wandering around my room, talking to myself about random shit. A great instance being. "What if like, I was the god of winter/cold/ice, and I kept creating creatures out of ice, and then all the gods like, sat me down for an intervention, and got through to me. And THEN I made things out of snow too." Its kind of like watching the slow decline of a man's sanity. Fun times.

Do we have any prominent capitals, kingdoms, cities, etc. established yet? Something in the same vein as a Rome or a pre- or mid-Renaissance England, depending on how far back our equivalent timeline goes. Just a place with influence.
