On a side note... I am curious to see if there would be something like the aliance and the horde forming.

Alliance: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, gnomes, halflings, kobold, southern sergals
Horde: Northern Sergals, Gnolls, Orcs, some catfolk monestaries, undead.

Neither side is evil... unless you mean the undeads.

Gods be like ".... don't look at us. We had nothing to do with this."

I'd be down for that.

EDIT: Also, updated my sheet with opinions and made some minor corrections. Barindur's capital city was called Agamand, not Whitestone. Also, @NachoBachoPacho, I hope you're ready. Kalla doesn't get angry too often, but she absolutely loathes Thu-mmok. Mostly, it's the whole 'deserts covering the world' thing. Kalla is going to come down HARD on that nonsense, especially considering the hell the mortal realm just went through. Yigzavath and Kulorerstus notwithstanding, she considers him the biggest threat to Gaea's recovery and plans to deal with him accordingly.

@Karkinos Nope, in fact, Asivar did something very similar. He loves all forms of bloodshed but battle above all. Giving these perfect beings weapons fit for gods would only make him cheer as he pushes 2 of them in an arena and tells them to fight to the death. His greatest hatred is peace, tranquility, and weakness. He has a distinct hatred towards all who can't or won't wield a bow or blade.

Oh, also, if anyone else wants to discuss Kalla's relationship with their character more or come up with some ideas via PM, shoot 'em my way. I check this topic way too often as it is lol.

But what about those who fight and ruin armor to their fist? Or uses a hammer? Or a mace?

Among our current roster, which god would most likely be responsible for mimics?

My immediate thought is Nahash, but she doesn't like to create things out of nothing. Maybe a collab between her and another deity interested in that sort of trickery.

Likely a mix of Nahash, Del Sombra, and Kalla, and Ash. I had a feeling that the three of them got drunk somewhere along the lines and said. "You know what? What if... what if we just decided to make a monster... that was a treasure chest? When a wayfarer approaches it... and tries to open it. WHAM!"

"Mimics Evolved over centuries to look like treasure chests. This is a function derived to better pray on unsuspecting adventurers."

Adventurer: So... why the FUCK do we still make treasure chests that looks like this!?

To be honest... a mimic is a lot kinder than an exploding chest. A chest that sends a swarm of angry bees after you. Or loads your face full of poison darts.

@Lexicon yeahhh, Thu-mmmok doesn't really understand the negative aspects of an endless desert, he's kind of like the dumb guy that means well, but uh, isn't. And he isn't exactly fond of Kalla either, due to just being basically the entire opposite of her.

On a totally different note, I have so many bad memories of Mimics in my D&D sessions, but one comes to mind in particular. Where I missed a session, and all my friends died horribly, when I asked the GM what happened he just say. "Mimics and giant skeletons bro, it was glorious."

What is it with these gods having a bunch of their ideas specifically when they're drunk.

EDIT: Wait, can gods get drunk? Wouldn't they have like, fucking extremely alcohol-resistant livers by default alongside their other physical defenses and immunities?

Denoted by Greek Mythology... yes... yes they can.

They were horny, alcohol loving, and rediculously absurd dieties.

Yes, but unless you have weak god drinkers, most can take mortal alchohal easily without getting tipsy. Ambrosia however, now that sh** can get almost any god wasted.

@NachoBachoPachoAlso, go ahead and write up that specific species of Sphinx X3. Or you can just have some desert faring ones guard some places.

I'm surprised no one's taken the role of the god who brews that stuff, then.

I'm thinking of expanding Sombra's speech abilities a bit more...

She speaks only when talking of secrets, and information. The same rule of costs applies. Still prevents her from holding a genuine conversation.

What do you want? "...."

What do you see? "...."

Can you tell me of the situation below? "Three large factions. Traveling amongst roads of bone. Castles of stone, sit on pillars of sand and pillars of salt. The tides of war threaten to blow the foundation away."

"What is the blind man's parable?"

"Two blind men sit at the end of an era contemplating beauty. They sat atop the worlds highest peaks overlooking the lands were the winds of the earth carried hushed and gentle whispers from nations afar, and yet... seeing nothing." The story continues on.

Behold, the greek siri

maybe she just sits atop a big pillar all day. Her body staring off into space while her mind roams the worlds and watching all of the events.

Nahash pretends to be drunk so she's allowed to vent her crazier ideas.

@Tangletail I decided to put a note in creations, that despite not creating the Sphinxes, some live in Thu-mmmok's deserts, and occasionally even guard the entrances to dungeons.

Mainly because I couldn't really think of a sphinx variation without turning the sphinx into a Lamassu, which I might do, but right now i'll keep it as a note.
