@SepticGentleman I suppose that's true. Our characters have been stuck in Valhalla for the last five hundred years so I'm sure, now that the Silence is over, they're chomping at the bit to see something other than each other and pretty clouds. Still, once they see what Gaea has become over the years, everything is going to change. After getting the kobold tribes together to discuss their collective futures, Kalla will start on her whole "Let Gaea heal while removing any vestiges of demonic corruption" campaign. And I already have some thoughts on her potentially enlisting her siblings to help with a little project. Nothing too invasive or aggressive, of course. It would be more of an alliance intended to watch over...problematic individuals while the world heals.

Nahargu'ul will come back to find that pollution has begun spreading out amongst the waters due to the mainland's mechanical advances (and maybe sewage runoffs, if they have sewers). He'll be rightly pissed about that.

Meanwhile, Yig's just like, "Shit, I barely gotta do anything, these fuckers are making themselves sick."

Alright before I start heavy-lifting with the CS, I'd like to see if this is ok. How would you all feel about a God of Infinity and Impossibility joining you?

The God would be sort of considered an "outsider" even among other Gods and be rarely worshiped by mortals. As a matter of fact he isn't even that well known. He would go by the title of "The Outsider, The Stranger, Lord of Oblivion". His domains and powers would include things regarding impossibility and infinity (duh) such as the infinite space, a bottomless pit, the largest or the smallest number in existence, etc.
His primary attribute would be madness and fear; madness to represent the insurmountably ridiculous and impossible existence (such as an infinitely large number), fear since any mortal's most primal emotion to the unknown starts with fear. If a man falls into the ocean and sees an infinite black pit of dark waters beneath him, and he feels fear, this God would be the one who's responsible for such and be "with" him.
On the other hand, he is unknowingly somewhat worshiped by intellectuals such as scientists since the exploration of the unknown sheds light on the real nature of what seems impossible. However, he enjoys presenting an infinite number of challenges to be solved to those who dare challenge him in this manner. And eventually, this produces mortals who are mad on seeking out the true nature of this God - also known as knowledge beyond the possible (mad scientists/wizards anyone?).

Ofc I will get more details up with the main cs but this is the idea i'm rolling right now.

Fear is already taken. And I think infinite space will be a rough domain to manage concidering we are gods of a single planet, with other planets awaiting gods.

Though the Outsider bit would put him on a good standing with Del Sombra.

Her name roughly translates and implies "Of Unknown Origin" and she's the Goddess of the Unknown and Secrets.

I do like Madness though. I'm kinda curious to see where this one goes. Will he have the personality of Sheogorath? Discord from my little pony? Or will he be a perfectly sane and down to earth guy that hates his job.

@Tangletail Okay so, I don't have much to add to what you just said, because my simple mind is still too busy procrastinating thinking of a hero.

But man oh man, you brought up Sheogorath, and I love Sheogorath. A madness god with similarities to him with be pretty great in my eyes.

Oh my bad, Kulorerstus is the God of Fear, I thought he was just the God of Death. Alright I suppose I can drop the fear (unless Kulorerstus and this God has some sort of connection) aspect and focus more on the madness.

As for the domain... actually I could use a bit of nudges on that. Been reading the OP's first post and still am a little bit confused on how this whole territory business works.

Despite his powers and domains, this God actually will be fairly sane. He can seem a little bit unhinged from other Gods' perspectives (depending on the subject) but for the most part he's a pretty private God who likes keeping to himself but also enjoys "entertaining events" and such. Mostly he does what he does for amusement, as he enjoys seeing feeble mortal minds attempt to rival that of the Gods'.

Damn why does everyone want to make distant gods.

Alright so the first 'issue' with this is that gods already by technical nature are 'infinite'. Their existence is essentially a certain level of infinite. Now your probably wondering how can their be certain level of infinities. Mathematically speaking there are hundreds of different sizes of infinities, with some infinities being larger then others. There is a good vsauce video that explains that in depth, but a more simple explanation would be like comparing pie to the square roof of 2, each have an infinite number of digits but pie is bigger then the square roof of two.

a God that is more influential then say another less influential god, while both being infinite, is more 'influential' in terms of power and whatnot.

This shouldn't be that concerning to the rp, hence I haven't really mentioned it, but unless you were an elder god (which I will not be adding a 4th), being a more distant god would equate to a 'weaker' god.

Fear is already taken by edgelord mcgoo also.

What you can do, is either make a god based off of illusions (making an illusion of an infinite pit for mortals, keep in mind any god could probably make infinite 'microuniverses' or private dimensions, or even afterlifes, but require time, effort, and commitment to make.

I also like the idea of your 'impossible' existential creations. So you could also make a god whos basis is to defy the laws set about by the elder gods (That isn't technically magic, while magic sort of 'bypasses' the laws of physics such as conservation of matter and energy, it doesn't exactly break them more so becomes an exception.) Examples of this would be reality disortion, corruption, temporarily changing the laws of reality of the mortal world. (Although it will have to be minor as to not be incredibly op) and such.
You can combine both of what I said earlier and in addition madness or whatever if you wish.

This is also fairly midieval teched fantasy world, astronomers would have a little sense of the world outside of earth, and cosmology. While they wouldn't be foreign to the idea of infinite space, it wouldn't be widely accepted unless if your god directly influences that ideas.

@SepticGentleman
Its not so much as they are limited to one planet, the gods have power over the entire physical universe (or multiverse) to a pretty powerful extant, its just that earth is the easiest to domain over since its a lot of commitment and time to put into creating or modifying a planet, putting lifeforms in and balancing all that shit.

His domain could be similar to how Sombra's works then. Her domains work by association. Secrets bring in Conspiracy, with Conspiracy comes violence and crime. She seems like an evil god, even with her innate delight of sadism (as much as she tries to hide it), but she's not. She's needed for proper civilization.

He could be the God of Abstraction. Abstraction is what makes sentient creatures more unique than feral beasts. They are able to conceptualize tools with abstract thought, and under stand emotions like love. Abstraction also helps us understand math, which is primarily symbols and figures, as well as science as it needs to be broken down before an effective law comes. But like Alice and Wonderland mentioned, everyone is a little mad.

Madness will be part of his domain, though it'll probably be a lesser field similar to Sombra's Crime and Violence. But like her still, he is needed for civilization to work. One is a motive to drive towards it, the other is the ability to draft a contract to create such.

A good example of why many gods like Kilgarrah do not start populating planets willy nilly with their creations.

Enter Kilgarrah.

"A planet of a dragons, a realm where my creatures can roam free!"

Dragons die out due to cannibilization of having no other food source, or water since kilgarrah can only contribute heat to the planet.

"Shit."

@dragonmancer oh yeah, having their own planets would be an issue for almost all of the gods in rp.

Hmm... I could just drop the infinity aspect and focus more on impossibility and madness. To be quite honest, I don't mind playing a "weaker" God, I was just interested in playing a God who's domain is over the conceptual rather than the physical. Much like Sombra. But at the same time, morally untargetable unlike Sombra who could be seen as "evil" by mortals.
A God who's primary power is to negate preconceived laws and rules... But I'm just thinking, having the power to break rules and laws (set even by the Eldar Gods) doesn't that make it incredibly overpowered? Meaning no amount of stipulation or anything that is under the influence of a "law" is meaningless against this God. So how far can this "law-erasing/breaking" power go?
Also as far as reality distortion goes... isn't that like a "base skill" for most Gods have? At least within their domain? Like I'm fairly sure Naharguโ€™ul is capable of cooking up whatever bs he pleases at least within the ocean.

@Tangletail
Hmm... I'm toying with your idea of abstraction but that sort of seems like its in a different direction than where I was thinking. But I do like the idea.
