"Evening..." the words evoked a knee jerk reaction from the gunslinger. Popping up to his feet to confront the executor of this surprisingly low profile ambush, the last of the line of Eld drew the impressive revolver from the holster hanging at his right side in a matter of half a second. Roland had not even a slight hint of detection before this man simply encroached upon his space. Given his developed "sixth sense," some would call it, the whole thing struck him as eerie.

Brandishing what looked like a very heavy (but finely made) handgun in his intruder's face, Roland assessed the man. He wore a suit, one like he had seen in Jake's New York, and his hair style appeared to match the average description of the people he had seen there as well. Given the tone of his words and the crass nature of the action he had taken, Roland decided that the man in the suit was not an immediate threat. Roland lowered the gun, but kept it at his side. He would briefly look over his shoulder to ensure that the other two persons (if they were indeed people) in question had not taken an interest in the events unfolding in the bush. Roland turned his head back to the man in the suit, who was smoking a cigarette. His own vice started to play upon his mind; he would have to roll one when things died down a little.

Roland held eye contact with York, "Not wise to sneak up on strangers," he holstered his gun, but kept his hand close to the polished sandalwood grip, "keep your voice down. Those two could be dangerous." The gunslinger motioned with his head backwards towards the area that the armor clad figure and the man with the giant sword were conversing at. He attempted to have a presence of mind in both the area he was in and that one over there. Nothing was going to surprise Roland.

Upon thinking about it more, the only way that the man in the suit could've gotten the jump on Roland is if he had been a master in stealth or he just appeared behind him. Given that the man simply walked up to Roland and addressed him with a friendly greeting, the gunslinger assumed the latter. That was distressing news. No doors, no portals, no man in black; were people just being plucked from wherever they were and taken here? That surely is what it felt like to Roland. In his experience Ka worked in more subtle ways, but he supposed Ka had to answer to no one. "Do you know how you got here? Any clues at all?" Roland said wasting no time even to exchange names. @BringBack1996

@CrimsonCastleYork looked down at Roland's revolver with the same amount of interest one might look at the morning news paper. This man was getting more and more western by the minute, not to mention more paranoid sounding. 'Though perhaps with good reason.' York thought to himself, opting to crouch down when Roland took the gun away from his face.

"Last thing I recall was rolling my car off the road and into a forest. Not this one though-there was a storm happening when I crashed. This forest looks to dry to be the same one." York explained to the stranger, taking another drag off of his cigarette before tapping it on the carton and sticking it back with the others. Had to conserve these things with how much money they cost.

York looked out into the field to see exactly who Roland was staring at. The first thing he noted was that it was a good thing that there were other intelligent life around. The second thing he noted was they apparently had spaceships. York looked upon the orange domed structure for a moment, rubbing his chin with thought. He briefly entertained the notion that he was in a coma again. He pushed those thoughts away and focused on the people, placing his right index and middle finger on the right side of his head.

Profiling Start

The man on the right with the black hair stood in a relaxed manner, looking more casual and friendly than intimidating. His large...Was that a sword? York noted to himself to ask how one would wield a sword that big later. Still, right now he didn't look too threatening. Even with a sword that big, York figured if this individual got riled up it'd be easy enough to get out of that sword's reach and start shooting.

The second individual, who was apparently the owner of the ship that had caught York's attention earlier, was a bit more concerning to York. They looked like they had just come out of a science fiction movie, though perhaps with with more advanced special effects than he was used to seeing. The way Samus was pointing her arm canon at Zack was a slight cause for concern, but York figured he was in the same situation that he was in with Roland-he'd shown up unannounced at a stranger's back or side, and the stranger in question had a gun.

Still, it was probably for the best to hang back for a moment. York removed his fingers from his head before addressing Roland again. "What about you? What's the last thing you remember?" York asked, his investigative mind now moving on to the question of why he and this stranger were here. He was surprised he was functioning this well after waking up without a morning cup of coffee, but he felt just as energized as he had been mere moments before the crash. Perhaps no time had passed at all, but then why was the sun in the sky and where was the rain?

Harvey was quite happy to see that, not only did The Engineer completely fall for his bluff, but that he was eager to help deal with this wrestler. This put Harvey in a very favorable position.

From what Harvey had learned during his adventures with Brad, the best way to deal with someone built like a wrestler was to knock them down, then set them on fire while shooting them. All in all, it worked quite well. Unfortunately, Harvey had forgotten to pack any firebombs, and this wrestler hadn't been knocked down yet. However, he did have his back turned to Harvey. He could work with that.

"As an officially-recognized member of the EWC, I hereby order you to cease," Harvey tore a few sheets of paper out of his briefcase and threw them at Jasper, "and desist!"

The sheets of paper, still developing the royal seal of Yellow Diamond and a laundry list of indictments, flew inexplicably quickly and accurately. Their razor-sharp edges shined audibly as they soared straight towards Jasper's exposed backside.

Vader simply stood silent for a few short seconds as Ainz answered. So it seems as even he wasn't even part of this galaxy... perhaps having somehow traveled billions and billions of light years from some other galaxy far far away. Or for all he knew, he could be part of some other dimension. Which was ironic considering the fact that, he doesn't recognize the fact that he isn't even in his own dimension at this point. Regardless, it still didn't register into his system yet. He'll need some solid proof or abnormally to even consider this possibility.

"I see..." he wonders aloud as he inspects this fellow carefully, "Who are you? And where do you so happen to originate?"

Ainz

Ainz studied the other fellow closely, not moving from his spot where he found himself. This gent is either a cosplayer, or that he was from that franchise. He huffed heavily cleared his face from any emotion, not that he can express himself properly anyways. It was still too early to let his guard down around the sketchy man, he didn't quite trusted the man... Yet.

"I am Ainz Ooal Gown." Ainz stated, "I am formally from YGGDRASIL. A VRMMORPG that was made on Earth. And yourself?"

Ainz waited for a reply, it was rude to call out someone they've just met, but he didn't want to make the man attack him without a reason. Then again, PKers had attacked him because he didn't play a humanoid character in the first place. Ainz was, and is, a patient being after all.

Ken

Flailing on the ground, Ken Kaneki finally opened his eyes to see that the scenery had changed dramatically, but he knew that he was fighting against the Doves and the Agori Tree in the last three hours. He had escaped from the clutches of his tormentor and join the fray to rid of Owl, the one thing that cause a lot of trouble for him and his life. He stared hard at the wooded area that he was in, he glanced down to see himself in a tree. How ironic because he was thrown into a tree when he remembered.

He heard voices from one direction, seen smoldering smoke from the opposite direction, two people standing behind a bush, but he didn't see any one that he knew. Maybe the Ghouls he was facing had killed him in the end.

YGGDRASIL? VRMMORPG? Planet Earth? Vader was already rather... intrigued and confused by this response. He had no idea what this skeleton was talking about. Perhaps in his universe, video games with such a title existed, but he hasn't heard of such a program, not even as the little boy on Tatooine. Furthermore, the planet the skeleton mentioned was also quite unfamiliar for him. Vader wouldn't usually give his information out, besides everyone knew who he was in his universe, but regardless, he was forced to give out his info. He grips his left fist tightly as he explains to Ainz who he was.

"Address me as Vader." he states bluntly, "LORD Darth Vader. Supreme Commander and Enforcer of the Galactic Empire's military forces and a sith lord."

Ainz

Ainz would've cocked his brow at the name, but due to the fact that he is a skeleton, he did it figuratively speaking. So he IS from that franchise. Figured as much.

He shook his head slightly, and knew from the movies, this man was not to be trifled with at all. Not that Vader can do much to a dead being. Ainz relaxed a tad, making sure that Vader wouldn't take him as a threat, but he kept his guard up. Being tense with someone powerful wouldn't do good anyways.

"Since we do not know where we are," He waved his hand, "Might as well explore this forsaken planet and gather intel."

For him to make the decision to gather intel was for the best, he knew it, but not sure if the Sith Lord would follow his lead.

Vader Approaches

Vader nods agreeingly at this statement.

"Agreed." he states simply as he walks a few feet past Ainz, "But first, we'll need to find a ship. Once we do we can~"

But before Vader can finish, he happens to see some commotion going on from beyond the bushes. There were several figures that happened to be congregating aggressively amongst themselves. One was a rather small girl, a middle-aged man, another fantasy-like female character... and a walking, talking, fish. And this was no Mon Calamari in his eyes... far from it actually. This was already getting way weirder then he thought... now he was really questioning if he was in his own galaxy, let alone universe.

Regardless, perhaps they knew of a ship nearby. It seemed like a stretch but it was possible that they have one. But the question is where. Then again, Vader wasn't going to be as forgiving as he was in regards to Ainz. He will force them to take him and his new ally to get them off this planet... even if he has to chop some of them up into pieces.

"Perhaps this violent bunch can lead us to a ship..." he says, still facing the group, "And if not... they will die."

He then slowly begins walking towards them, his breathing beginning to overtake the general location...

Ainz

Ainz had noticed the violent bunch before the Sith lord had noted himself. It appeared a few more had join the three prior to meeting Vader, but followed the man anyways. They could provide information on how they've gotten here, but he wasn't too keen on how the orange one would react towards them.

It was after the statement that Vader had said, heads may roll if they weren't cooperative with any information that they have. He remained four feet behind Vader, watching the bunch only to hear the one in a construction outfit complain about payment and the fish man being his money and such. What was he complaining about anyways if the fish man was hurt or killed?

"Might want to hold off on the killing first, Sith lord. They might hold valuable information." Ainz stated the obvious, "I'm pretty sure that they can hold their own if confronted."

If they confronted the group in a violent matter, Ainz would have no choice but to use his Mana reservoirs to cast the spells, and he didn't want to waste his magic for something so trivial like fighting. He would rather avoid fighting if possible.

As Jasper approaches, the engineer turned slightly pale, and droplets of sweat rain down his face. Yet he does not back down, instead he stands there, shot gun pointing at Jasper. "Damn it," he whispers to himself,"Damn thing took it as a challenge!" he pauses for a second, thinking of what best to do. He steps over and flips the switch on the sentry gun, and the gun faces Jasper, locking onto its target. Yet, still no halt from Jasper.

At this point the engineer knew his threats were doing nothing but encouraging Jasper. He only had two options now, he thought, either go through with his threats or call his own bluff. He thinks for a second of what he will do and shouts at Jasper "Y'all better stop right there if ya got any sense, because trust me this thing'll blow ya to pebbles!" The Engineer looks at the sentry, then back at Jasper. "Yall better just stop what you're doing and there won't be a need to fight." he yells to Jasper, seeing no slowing in speed.

In a sudden shock the Engineer remembers the Angel is next to him, he turn to her and says, "Hey, this is about to get messy. Do me a favor, grab the fish and fly outta here... You probably don't wanna get hurt, and I can't let the darn fish get hurt, so if you could do that for me please, it'd be nice." He loads a shell into his shotgun and makes sure he has his pistol and wrench ready. "This is gonna be one helluva fight."

Kieri wanted to tear her hair out at this point. How in the name of Mother Gaia could she make what she wanted more obvious?! Was she going to have to get in the line of fire and hope one of these things punches clipped the brace enough to hope it fell off? The sheer sharpness of Harvey's paper, the latest of which had just embedded itself into Jasper's back, did give her some ideas, but not only could she not touch the collar, it'd know if she was bringing something to it as well. It was frustrating to Kieri, but...The Engineer did have a point. If she wasn't getting this thing off any time soon, she'd be useless in a fight, and despite how impressive Harvey looked she doubted he'd be much better. Maybe if she could find a way to get this thing off of her she could come back, but for now Kieri took advantage of the distraction Harvey and The Engineer both provided and snuck around the side, hoping to grab the Fish Man and bolt out of here.

Jasper barely winced as Harvey's legal document found it's way corner first into her back. She merely reached around, plucked it out, and started to read it over. One thing Harvey would notice however was the distinct lack of blood. There was a cut there, yes, but no fluids were currently oozing down Jasper's back like he would be used to seeing. After a brief moment of glancing it over, Jasper started chuckling.

"You know, if I were a Ruby this might've fooled me," Jasper admitted dryly, whirling back around to face Harvey as she spoke "but Yellow Diamond doesn't communicate by paper. The most basic form of communication she'll reduce herself to is a Wailing Stone, and even then she has far, far more sophisticated methods of seeking out who she wants to punish."

Jasper started approaching Harvey again at this point, a dark gleam in her eyes as she spoke. [color=FFA500]"But let's say she did decide to transcribe a warrant for my arrest, just to play along...Why is it in her handwriting? Why wouldn't she just dictate to her Pearl?" Jasper had seen Yellow Diamond's handwriting before. It had been a rare enough occasion to encode it into her memory. The document Harvey had tossed at her was a near perfect facsimile of Yellow Diamond's penmanship, but that had ironically been the thing that sunk the impression the most.

"So. Do you want to explain to me what you're doing going around with forged documents with a Diamond's seal on it," Jasper started, staring down at the Fish Man and cracking her knuckles "Or should I just show you what happens on Homeworld to gems that do?"

Before there was a chance for either really to happen, The Engineer piped up. It was a bold, brave statement from the human, and Jasper could commend him for that. But she had bigger fish to fry at the moment. As with any monarchy, impersonation of a ruler, be it dressing to look like them or in this case forgery, was a serious crime. A crime Jasper intended to carry out fully. She merely glanced back at The Engineer, her nose gem shining and her face twisted into a heinous grin.

"Just keep that machine running human," Jasper said, starting to turn back towards Harvey now "I'll take care of it in a mo-" Jasper paused. Harvey was gone.

Kieri took the first opportunity she got. The moment Jasper took her eyes off of Harvey, the Angel had swooped in (not literally, she noted sadly) and grabbed the fish man, tucking him under her arm and running like hell. She didn't know where she was going, of course, she just knew that she had to get away from here.

She was about thirty feet away when Jasper turned her head back around. Jasper grit her teeth at the realization that she had been duped, briefly forgetting about The Engineer and his machine's existence before leaning forward, curling quickly into a Quartz ball. She spun rapidly in place, building up speed and making a carving in the ground. She intended to run that girl down and beat the life out of that fish, maybe not even in that order.

"Don't underestimate the power of the Force." Vader remarks to the skeleton man's obvious statement, as they continued walking to the group.

The two were already closing in on them, when suddenly the little girl began running blindly towards them, with the anthropomorphic fish tucked under her arm. It seemed she had no idea where she was going, suddenly hitting right into the Sith Lord's leg, possibly falling down after hitting a mechanical leg. If she were to look up, Kieri would be glaring into the soulless mask of Darth Vader and perhaps Ainz being close behind, the former breathing ominously before her as he looks down upon the vulnerable child.

Vader was going to ask the child the question about finding a ship, when suddenly he looks forward to see a giant ball of quartz rolling right at the three! Wasting no time, as soon as he spotted her several meters away, he reaches out with his right hand, gripping the ball with the power of the force as he effortlessly stops and lifts it off the ground four meters into the air. Then, with a wave of his hand to the right, Vader launches Jasper out of the way. He looks upon the group in silence, trying figure out how to put this wildly bunch back into their place as he stand motionlessly.

"Cease this senseless conflict." the sith booms, his presence alerting everyone within the area. "I will like to have a word with you all."

Of course... his ominous approach to the group didn't exactly guarantee that they would stop... but if they try to combat him or Ainz, but especially the former, then they will most certainly perish... and perish quickly.

Ainz

Ainz figured that Vader would say something like that. He grunted at the remark, it was something that he always had done. Stated the obvious was one thing, but saying something blunt in return? He ignored the Sith Lord.

He kept his focus on what was happening, but failed to notice the Angel running towards them with the fish man. However, what caught his attention was the orange being, Jasper, rolling towards them. He would have casted a spell, but Vader beaten him to the punch.

Maybe I'll let him take care of it. he thought to himself. He would let the Sith Lord deal with matter at hand.

When he glanced down at the lump of two beings, he noted the Angel and the Fish man, who only sat on the ground. Ainz resisted the urge to help them up, well... For the Angel anyways, the fish man looked slimely to touch.

It wasn't a perfect gathering, The Creator mused. There were still some notable stragglers, but The Creator supposed that they didn't all have to be there. They sighed, rubbing their temple briefly as they looked upon the mess of papers still strewn out before them. They had to find a place where this group could be tested, to try and weed out those who simply wouldn't work for one reason or another. It was daunting, to be certain, but The Creator had something in mind...

Soon, The Creator found what they were looking for. A land where the hills had eyes, fungus and turtles reigned supreme, and a single man could conquer an army. At least, that's how it was supposed to be. The hills still had eyes, unaffected by the Spark, but everything else was far, far out of order. Taking a deep breath, the creator laid the piece of paper in their hands across the paper that held the temporary world everyone found themselves on, essentially creating a bridge between the two. Of course, it wouldn't be a literal bridge...

----------------------------------

It was times like this Kieri hated the brace the most. If she could fly, this wouldn't have been an issue-she doubted Jasper would've been able to keep up with her if she took to the air, and even if she could then she'd have access to her sword and her magic. It would've been an even fight! More than that though, if she could fly right now, she wouldn't have run into what looked like death himself and his skeletal cousin.

Kieri's pale face went paler as she looked up at Darth Vader and Ainz, blue eyes shaking and mouth agape again. He truly did look like death, albeit with less red and much, much more black. Ainz's appearance did little to put her at ease either, figuring that skeletons should not be external like that. She clung to Harvey perhaps a bit tighter than she should have, forgetting momentarily that Jasper was more or less right behind her. She only remembered when she heard the ground getting tossed up behind her as Jasper barreled towards her. She closed her eyes and braced for an impact that never came.

She opened one eye slowly, able to see that Vader now had one of his hands outstretched and that the noise of Jasper's approach had ceased. Before she could turn around to check, Vader had chucked Jasper away and sent her crashing into a mound of land nearby, a small crater forming from the impact. She stared at the impact site for a moment until Vader spoke again, his booming voice and mannerisms commanding attention of anyone around him. And so Kieri gave him that, shakily working her way back up to her feet and letting go of Harvey.

The Angel bit her lip, knowing she would've been more than happy to explain what was happening here if it weren't for the damned brace. She was about to go through the same routine of trying to mime to these two newcomers what she wanted when the blue light happened. Kieri froze in place and glanced over her shoulder slowly.

It was an electric blue pulsing ball of light, perhaps five meters or so behind The Engineer, that glowed brightly enough to be seen all around this small island. It was hard to stare directly at, Kieri having to shield her eyes just to look at it. It was almost like a blue star, she figured. At that moment, the noise of shifting ruble hit Kieri's ears, and she turned towards where Jasper had been tossed away, watching as the Quartz warrior emerged from the wreckage with merely a few scuff marks.

Jasper shook her head as she stood up, groaning for a moment before fixing her eyes back on to Harvey and Kieri. At least she did until she realized what was happening just a few short feet away from her. Her eyes were drawn to it, eyebrow quirking a bit in surprise. 'Blue Diamond must have gotten word of my disappearance.' She thought optimistically, but it was not meant to be. After a few moments, the ball of light started to form and shape, eventually making a solid stone arch with the same bright blue light swirling in the middle of it. On the keystone of the arch was a wooden plaque that read 'Toad Town'.

A ways away, York could see the pulsing blue light from the forest as it lit up the sky like a light show. He watched it in fascination, rubbing his chin a few times before it ended as the portal formed. When it finished, York spoke up. "Looks like something we should investigate. Don't you agree, Zach?" York spoke aloud.

Ainz

Ainz was not fazed about the portal, he was used to seeing portals like this. He gave it some thought to enter or not, but waited on Vader's choice to enter. Or anyone to enter it first. He glanced down at the Angel and took note of the choker around Kieri's neck. It seemed to be a little uncomfortable with it on. But that could be the fact that she was in front of two beings that brought fear and such.

I never noticed that before. Would she be scared if I try to help? I may need to set some conditions first before I analyse it. Ainz hummed a little, moving forwards to take a better look at the brace. "Be still and no harm will come. Can you promise the same thing?"

Ainz didn't wait for a response and lifted one hand, subconsciously activating the Appraisal Item spell to get a better look on things. Seems to suppress the magical abilities, not a World Item, but a lesser version of Slave collars.

He hummed again, staring hard at Kieri through his empty eye sockets. "I'll take this off, if you will follow myself and the Sith Lord here. If you refuse... You can leave that to your imagination." It wasn't a question, more like a demand. More Allies meant more meat sheilds or to raise an army.

Ken

Ken felt a sting on his left bicep, cringing a little while forgetting that he was in a tree. He landed on his back, which cause a shock to run through his body. The stupid cooler was still in the bag that he was carrying, he bit his lower lip to withhold a scream, but that didn't make the matter any better. With his fall, he made a loud thud, which might have alerted the two bidding behind a bush. This wasn't his day.

Roland of Gilead paused for a moment to contemplate the newcomer's question. Did he remember how he got here? The entire introduction of the setting seemed a little rushed, and most of his attention was focused on self preservation during the first few moments. Roland took a moment to collect his thoughts and really think about his forced transportation into this world. After a brief collection of seconds, he let out a sigh.

"I don't recall how I got here. The final moments that I was conscious in the last world are the last moments I remember before waking up here." Roland explained to York being careful not to reveal any sensitive information about his quest in mid-world; he could not know whether this entire situation was an illusion set up by the man in black, or worse...the Crimson King. He would glance back over his shoulder once more to assess where the armor clad knight and the fool with a sword equal to his torso were doing.

The pair appeared to be exchanging tense words, as an ominous glowing cannon remained pointed in the face of the dark haired man. Roland could not hear what they were saying despite his sharp senses, but whatever it was it was not reaching any conclusion. All of a sudden a bright flash emanated throughout the landscape from what seemed like a quarter of a mile southeast of his and York's position. Roland had to make a decision. Was the spaceship and potential adversaries over in this area a more important place to observe than the seemingly godly illumination to the south? A fire burned in his belly saying no. 'Must be Ka' Roland thought to himself.

Roland shifted his blaze blue eyes over to the man in the suit he had just met. The same fire in his belly that told him to move towards the light told him that this man was here to help him in this diversion of a quest. A temporary ka-tet beginning to form? Roland knew not what tricks it played with him this day. Scoffing and finally making a decision, the cowboy addressed York. "We should head over there. Whatever these two are doing, I believe we best leave it up to them." He paused for a minute and extended his hand outwards towards the slick looking York. "My name is Roland of Gilead, last of the line of eld and their gunslingers." The words he barely ever had the opportunity to say anymore reverberated through the air. A small aura of darkness could always be felt when he said them.

Once the greeting was over, Roland would begin a low jog away from the bush southwards towards the light. He assumed York would follow closely.

Harvey knew when a bad situation was about to turn worse. These two lunatics in black costumes were clearly the person who would desperately try to control other people, even if they didn't have the power to exert it. He spared a glance behind him, and noticed that something that was almost but not quite unlike a doorway had formed some distance away.

Harvey knew a little bit about mysterous doorways. Back when they'd dealt with Wally-- good god, Wally, what a horrible thing-- Brad had somehow managed to turn a normal-looking cavern into a nightmarish stairway filled to the brim with spiders with human faces. Harvey decided that plunging headfirst into what might be another stairway filled with horrible things was better than dealing with these Rando wannabes right now.

"Hate to break it to you, champ," Harvey said to Vader, "but I'm not the one who brought you here. If you want someone to blame, talk to the orange guy."

An uncomfortable gurgling noise rose from Harvey's guts. With an indescribable wet sound, Harvey spewed a torrent of water straight out of his mouth. Harvey flew backwards, propelled by his own saliva, and shot straight into the gleaming blue doorway.

York was quick to note the odd amount of titles that Roland seemed to carry for being a simple looking cowboy, but figured this was neither the time nor the place to be questioning oddities. That in mind, he merely reached into his coat pocket and flashed his badge at him once his introduction ceased.

"FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan," York introduced himself as before tucking away the badge back where he found it "but please, just call me York, everyone else does." He added as an addendum before moving to start following Roland. At least, he was, until he heard Ken fall out of a tree not too far behind him.

York paused in his stride to follow Roland and quickly shifted gears, heading over to investigate the noise. Best case scenario it'd be some kind of game and him and this cowboy fellow wouldn't have to starve to death. Worst case it'd be something decidedly more hostile than Roland was to him. York took his chances and approached the downed boy. He looked him over briefly, concluding he was of eastern descent, but decided against assuming anything else.

"I can't place where he'd fit in either Zach. Definitely not in a Western..." York muttered before helping Ken to his feet. "Nasty fall you took there kid. My recommendation would be not to climb any more trees." York suggested simply.

----------------------------

Kieri's attention was dragged away from Darth Vader's face by Ainz's words. She had been unaware that the skeletal man had been scanning her, eyeing her, and if she had been she'd probably be even more terrified than she was right now. As it was, she sat frozen as Ainz held out a hand to her, though she did wince a bit. Ainz was standing right next to Darth Vader after all, and when he held his hand out...Well, that had not gone well for Jasper. She clenched her hands into fists, barely even noticing as Harvey abandoned her and squirted himself into the portal, only daring to even breath again when Ainz lowered his hand.

She listened to what the skeleton had to say afterwards, briefly weighing her options. On the one hand, getting the collar off would be absolutely spectacular, and pretty much all she had wanted to happen ever since she woke up. On the other, Ainz apparently was intent on making Kieri his ally by force. This was something that Angels were familiar with, but that didn't mean it felt good to be on the receiving end. On the other...If she did refuse, she'd incur the wrath of two hellish looking beings. In the interest of self preservation, Kieri nodded slowly at Ainz's words.

Jasper had forgotten about Harvey during the formation of the portal. While her initial thoughts had been Blue Diamond coming to pick her up and take her back to Homeworld, she dismissed that thought outright once the portal formed. If it was the work of Blue Diamond, it would've been a teleportation pad, not an arch. Homeworld hadn't used those things for centuries now. Besides, in hindsight it would've been Yellow Diamond coming for her, not Blue Diamond.

Before Jasper could really investigate who was responsible for tossing her into this mound of Earth and accost who was responsible, she caught Harvey...She honestly wasn't sure how Harvey was doing that. She assumed that those of his kind would have to store up water in order to do that, but she didn't see any source of H2O around. Still, she decided not to dwell on it-her target was getting away.

"Oh no you don't!" Jasper said with a snarl, charging after Harvey and diving into the portal after him. The portal seemed to flash purple with each person going into it before returning to its original electric blue light.

--------------------------------

"What do you think it is General Shif T.?" Asked Blot T., scratching his black spotted mushroom hat as he poked the portal that had just appeared in town square with a spear. It was probably the best looking structure in Toad Town, considering the the misfortunes that had befallen the town recently. Building were smashed, craters had been made in the pavement, and the castle...Blot T. didn't even want to look at the princess' castle across the lake. Not since Bowser had gotten a hold of it, and then some.

"Beats me," Shif T. finally responded, narrowing his eyes at it and quirking an eyebrow "but we have to assume that it's something to do with Bowser. They know we're here, after all."

"Yeah..." Offered Cat T., rubbing underneath her nose as her red curls bounced with each movement she made "so should we stand guard in case anything comes through?" Shif T. paused at this. He turned to face the dozen or so toads that had accompanied him on this impromptu reconnaissance mission. He maybe three or four more troops back at the base, at best. Could he really risk leaving someone here if this was a King Koopa plot?

Before he could truly dwell on it however, the portal's purple glow changed to an electric blue glow, and out came Harvey and shortly after Jasper. Jasper spotted the fish man quickly and moved to pick him up again, rage in her eyes and her motions...Until she noticed the twelve spears that were currently pointed at her person. Jasper towered over the toads before her, and she knew that she could probably crush them all easily if she so wanted, but...She had been having a long day. She could use her entertainment.

"State your identity and purpose, now." Shif T. said simply, his squeaky scratchy voice trying to sound intimidating almost sending Jasper into hysterics by itself.

Ken

"Nasty fall you took there kid. My recommendation would be not to climb any more trees." Ken heard someone say, it wasn't that he wasn't familiar with the language, but was able to understand him.

He glanced up to see a salary man, maybe a lawyer? He couldn't place his finger of how to describe York. While he took the mans help, he felt the same sting on his arm and cringed a bit. He staggered a little, grabbing his head along with York's jacket. How did he ended up in the tree again? He was... He was... He couldn't remember much now. All that he can remember we're faint faces, and the package.

"Uh.. Thank you, sir, but I don't remember climbing anything... I can't remember..." Ken stopped for a moment, the realization that he forgot something important. His name. "My name."

He let go of York, trying to remember, but all that ce was a sting and a dull headache. He glanced up at the man again to expose one eye with the coloring of the irise similar to blood, but the white part completely black in comparison.

The bright blue flashes caught his attention, but the sting was still there. "Is that... Your friend?" Ken pointed at the man who was heading where the bright flash came from.

Ainz

Ainz kept his gaze on the Angel. He knew that people that kept their mouths shut, they we're fickle. He stood up, standing much taller than anyone or thing in the immediate area. He grabbed Kieri on the back, carefully avoiding to put any strain on the wings, and placed her on his shoulder. He was sure that this kind of gesture was uncommon, and he be on the screaming end if Albedo found this out.

"Sit still and I will take off." Aniz said while he used the same hand to activate the Item Break spell. The two spells barely put a dent in his Mana reservoirs.

With the choker now gone, he faced Vader with a somewhat expression saying that you say anything, you're done. It was after the fact that the fish man, Harvey, had went through the portal. Since nothing had happened, he made his way to the portal with Kieri on his shoulder, making sure that Vader followed his lead this time.

"Ah. That might be problematic," York commented to Ken upon learning he had forgotten his name thanks to the fall "suppose it won't do any good to ask if you remember the last thing you were doing before you woke up here then." York finished bluntly, deciding to ask everyone he met while he was here the same question. Perhaps there was a pattern to be found in it, and if he could find it, maybe he could get them home...

York's attention was brought back to Ken upon his questioning on Roland, who he noticed had not turned back to investigate Ken when he heard the thud. More of the Clint Eastwood type than the John Wayne type of cowboy he supposed. "Not sure I can call him my friend yet, but he is an acquaintance." York answered to Ken's question. He quickly assessed that Ken had likely suffered a concussion from the fall, figuring that was probably a step below forgetting your own name from a fall, and gently took one of Ken's arms and hung it around his shoulder. It would be no good leaving him behind here on his own, surely.

"The man up ahead is named Roland. He has a lot of titles to go with that name, but you can ask him for the full list when we reach him," York explained, staying near Ken to help him walk "As for me...FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan. But please, just call me York, everyone else does."

-----------------------------------------

Kieri tensed notably when Ainz started picking her up. Had she been able to, she likely would've summoned her sword on instinct then and there, but knowing that would likely end badly for her for once she was glad she had the collar around her neck. She blinked in surprise when she was set upon Ainz's shoulder, trembling just a bit but otherwise sitting steadily as he went to work.

Within seconds, the brace was gone. Kieri gasped audibly when she felt some form of magic wrap around it, having grown up around magic enough to know what it felt like, even foreign magic like Ainz's, putting Ainz more and more as something she could've encountered back home in her mind. She rubbed her neck for a moment, savoring the feeling of having it off and feeling her own magic capabilities return to her. Her wings twitched a few times, more or less checking to see if they were usable again. They were numb, but she knew they'd recover. She looked at Ainz as he walked towards the portal, swallowing audibly before speaking for the first time in what felt like forever.

"T...T-Thank you..." She managed before Ainz stepped through the portal, the glow once again changing colors for a few seconds before reverting back to its original electric blue.

---------------------------------------

The last thing Kieri expected upon coming out the other side of course was being dropped in the middle of an ambush. The toads were still focused on Harvey and Japser, though Jasper was looking more and more amused by the minute as she planned a path of destruction in her head. The gem glanced briefly over to the entering Ainz and Kieri, but thought nothing of them. At worse, they'd get caught in the crossfire.

"Sir! More are coming through!" Warned Cat T., turning her spear away from Jasper and Harvey and on to Ainz and Kieri. Several other toads followed suit, gritting their teeth as a far larger and more imposing foe sauntered in. Not so long ago, they likely would've turned tail and run, but now they simply could not afford to.

Kieri's eyes widened again at the sight and she quickly leapt off of Ainz's shoulder, landing on the ground in a crouched position. Upon standing back to her full height, she had summoned her Holy Water Sword, wrapped in median cloth to hide its true value to any greedy on lookers. She made a point of not yet unwrapping it, knowing the situation would likely break down into full on combat. "S-Stay back!" She warned the toads, who held their ground.
