Icon (Scott Hunter): Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, The Tudors) comments: He would be a good...wait a minute, he's already Superman! But, Henry, you will not have to worry about competing with the Batman here! (Thanks Ded, I had cast Cavill as Scott after the first time I saw him in The Tudors back in '07 or '08...damn you Snyder!
Racheli Lorna Desdemona: Nora Zehetner (Heroes) comments: With her relatively short performance in Heroes, I would say that Nora could play Rach.
Justine Shepherd: Shailene Woodley comments: While her eye color does not match the picture that Tearstone provided in his character sheet, but I think her face does patch that image (minus the eye color).
War-Pulse: Sebastian Stan (Captain America movies) comments: Compare the below image with War-Pulse's appearance in his character sheet and tell me how would this not be the perfect fit?
Raptor (Zac Wilson): Dacre Montgomery comments: While I have not seen the most recent Power Rangers movie yet, I'm assuming that the Red Ranger could be a good fit for this role.
Robert Wilson (Zac's Father): Sam Elliot, 10-20 years ago (Prancer, Hulk) comments: Weird that I cannot pick an actor for Zac, but I can for his dad...
Wasp (Kelly Brown): Milana Vayntrub (AT&T Commercials) comments: I don't know if she could act in an action movie, but in my mind, she looks the part of Kelly. Also, they would have to omit the part about Kelly growing over six feet tall, but that can be easily over looked. :D Finally, if Emma Stone can play a high schooler, I'm sure Milana can pass for a college sophomore.
Bast (Sammy Kadowsky): Hayley McFarland (Criminal Minds) comments: This is what happens when you look at the Criminal Minds wikipedia page for each of their seasons. She kind of looks young in this picture, but I assure you that she is 24 (born in 1991). Funny how the story arc that gave Sammy her "powers" was inspired by Criminal Minds, too. :D
Arachne (Aubrey Adkins): AJ Michalka (Goldbergs/Super 8) / Elle Fanning (Maleficent/Super 8) / Karen Gillan (Doctor Who/Guardians of the Galaxy/Jumanji) comments: Arachne would be, well, interesting to put on the silver screen since she is not entirely a humanoid, unlike most of the characters in this roleplay. Therefore (unless this "movie" is taking place in the IC, where they could hire Arachne to do the stunts) Arachne would probably have to be done via CGI, much like the Hulk in the Avengers. They would probably CGI the action scenes but use green-screen magic to get some close-ups. They could also use the techniques Marvel Studios did to make pre-transformation Captain America to make sure the actress does not fall victim of a common trope for superheroines.
Karen Gillan is the oldest (29), the tallest, the only non-American (Scottish), and only one of my three choices who is not naturally blonde. However, none of these are deal-breakers. Hair color can be changed (cf. Emma Stone in the Amazing Spider-Man movies), actors play younger roles all the time (cf. Emma Stone again), movie magic can fix any height issues (coughTomCruisecough), and accents can be faked. When casting an actress for the role of Arachne, one must consider that there are two aspects to this character: the superhero and civilian. I believe Karen could nail the superhero part of the role, as her film resume shows.
AJ Michalka is the second oldest (26). In the same way that Karen would excel at the superhero portion of this role, AJ would do the same for the civilian part. Aubrey is a pretty similar to the character she played on the Goldbergs. I have no idea whether she could do the superhero part of the role (the closest she has come to this was voice acting for Steven Universe).
Elle Fanning is the youngest of the bunch (19). AJ Michalka and her so happened to have played sisters in Super 8. Her age is both a positive and a negative. She is the closest to Arachne's age in IC (21/2) and by the time a hypothetical movie is produced, she would be the right age. Plus, she would be young enough to do multiple movies (cf. Tom Holland for MCU Spider-Man). The only negative deals with Arachne's "assets." While I would admit that "enhancing" any of these actresses would be a little weird, it feels worse doing it to a 19 year old.
Character you have created: Scott Hunter Alias: Icon
Speech Color (actually say what you're using, don't go "Like this", or what not): as Scott As Icon
Character Alignment: Hero Identity: Secret to the public
Character Personality(Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): He is a man who doesn't fully understand himself. He grew up not too far from Lost Haven in Conway New Hampshire. It's a small ski resort town several just several hours south of the city. Although he grew up a normal kid with normal a normal family, he is anything but normal. He has amazing powers that he doesn't fully understand. While he was growing up he hated himself, he was angry at the world for making him a "freak." He wanted nothing to do with his powers, he just wanted a normal life. However, as time went on and he grew older he learned to deal with his powers, and eventually he embraced them. He believes in fighting for what is right. He believes in protecting the weak, and making sure that they are taken care of. Overall, he is a good man with great power, trying to do the right thing.
Uniform/costume: See below
When he is not in costume fighting villains or trying to stop general catastrophe he runs a nightclub called The Hub with his best friend Eric Dean.
Origin Info/Details: Scott Hunter may seem like a normal guy, but he is anything but. Everything about him is a lie, his parents, his older brother as well as his younger sister. None of it is real. Although they raised him as their son, he isn't. In fact, he isn't even really human. Scott was the result of a secret experiment by atop secret government agency that mixed alien DNA with that of a human. While he was a baby; he was cared for by a woman named Barbara Hill, who was a member of the top secret government agency. What the objective of this experiment was is unknown. While going about her daily tasks at the project, Dr. Hill learned that the program had been terminated, all evidence was to be destroyed, and the baby known only then as SKT-17 (she affectionately called him "Scott") was to be eliminated. Having recently lost her own child due to the actions of a drunk driver who also claimed the life of Dr. Hill's husband, she could not stand the thought that this child who she began to see as her own, could be killed. She stole the child from the laboratory which created him, and fled to the north. She gave the child to a trusted friend, Jacob Hunter and his young bride Elizabeth. Soon after, Dr. Hill was tracked down by agents of the government unit and killed. Jacob and Elizabeth took the young baby, and continued calling him Scott as they felt that there would be no need to change his name, seeing as that is what Dr. Hill had called him his whole life.
Scott was raised by the Hunters as one of their own children. He always knew that he was different, that he had these abilities, but he never understood why. As his powers developed throughout his childhood, he became increasingly confused and angry. This was a cause for concern for his parents, because they never understood exactly why their son was this way. When Jacob died when Scott was still just a child, Scott blamed himself for his father's death, feeling that it was the pressure of raising a "freak" that caused his young father to die of an aneurysm. Eventually he learned to deal with his gifts. At first he used his gifts for selfish reasons, often profiting from using them dishonestly (mostly in athletic bets). However, after an incident which cost his older brother Brandon his life, Scott left his family and found himself in a self imposed exile. He traveled around the country, spending much of his time on the West Coast. While he was away, he would often step in and anonymously lend a hand to those in need. He eventually got back into contact with his mother and sister, and was shocked to find that they did not blame him for Brandon's death. After a lot of self reflection, he made his way to Lost Haven where he opened a nightclub called "The Hub" with his longtime friend Eric Dean.

"Hurry Up, get that money into the bags!" One of the masked assailants screamed to one of the others.
Four masked men had stormed into Centennial Bank demanding that all the money be handed over. Juanita Juarez crouched in a corner, trying not to look at the carnage on the floor. However, she didn't have to look at it, he knew exactly what had happened in the moments after the masked men entered the bank. Two security guards and a customer were all dead, killed in the hail of gunfire that erupted when the masked men made their intentions clear. Trying to avoid detection, she just sat there; huddled in the corner, hoping that this would all end soon.
"This is Captain Price of the Lost Haven Police Department. We don't want anyone to get hurt, just come out and place your weapons on the ground." A voice came from outside. The four masked man became agitated, prodding the tellers to hurry with the money.
The man who seemed to be leading the robbers went over to the large glass door and opened it a crack as if he were to begin negotiating a way out. Instead, he fired several shots at the police cruisers parked in front of the bank. The police returned fire, sending shattered glass all over the inside of the bank.
"Hold your fire d*mn it!" Captain Price ordered, recognizing the danger that the civilians inside the bank were in. He puts the megaphone he is holding to his mouth again.
"Hold your fire, there is no need for anymore bloodshed. We can resolve this peacefully, and without any more casualties." Then another shot rings out, forcing Price to get back behind the squad cars.
Realizing that the situation is getting worse, the lead masked man began looking around the bank looking for a way out of the bank that didn't involve him being in prison or a body bag.
"Jimmy, go around and check the back, maybe we can get out that way."
The thug that the lead masked man was talking to nodded and went out the back, and came back moments later looking alittle panicked.
"That's covered too, three maybe four units out there. We're trapped."
The lead masked man looks around at the hostages and sets his sights on Juanita Juarez, who is still huddled in the corner. He quickly moves over to her and grabs her by the hair, forcing her to her feet. "GET UP!" he screams at her. She lets out a cry as he forces her against the wall.
"Everyone up, NOW!" He screams at the hostages, as the other masked men corral the remaining hostages up against the same wall as Juanita.
"Alright folks, this is real simple. We're getting out of here, and you're all going to make sure that we get out safely. We're all going to walk out together, and your gonna be standing right in front of us as a human shield. If the pigs open fire, you'll be there to make sure that we don't get hit. And if you try to run, make no mistake about it, I will shoot you. Now, are we all clear on that?"
Suddenly confusion takes over as there is an explosion of glass, and what can almost be described as some sort of whirlwind inside the bank. The gunmen and hostages gather their wits and they see a man standing before them. He is dressed in a dark blue body suit with silver bands on the arms and legs, a blue and silver cape, and he has a thin mask that is the same shade of blue as his costume. The man just stands there as the gunmen open fire on him. The gunmen and hostages stand there in amazement as they watch the bullets just bounce off him.
"Oh no, this ain't hapening, this AIN'T happening!" The lead thug shrieks as he continues to fire his weapon until it runs out of bullets. Then the man fires optic blasts at the four masked men's weapons, knocking them from their grips. The man in blue grabs the first masked man and tosses him into a wall, obviously holding back as to not serious injure the man.
"That's enough guys, it's over. Give it up and nobody has to get hurt." He says to the other three men. They think it over for a moment, and then stand down.
Moments later the man leads the hostages and the masked men out of the bank to the police who are waiting down on the street. When he met Captain Price and the other officers they just stood there for a moment looking at him, not knowing what to make of this new player in the city.
"Thanks for the help son." Captain Price felt somewhat embarrassed at the hokiness of what he said, but it was all he was able to muster.
"I'm just glad I was able to help sir." Then in front of the police, and the media that had gathered at the bank, he just flew away.
Character you have created: Aubrey Adkins Alias: Arachne
Speech Color: Standard Forum Text, FireBrick (B22222)
Character Alignment: Hero
Identity: Secret, only known (eventually) by her roommates
Character Personality:
If you were to ask Aubrey to describe herself with one word, it would be religious. She grew up in a conservative Catholic household, therefore is a devout Catholic. To those who are not quite as religious as she is, she might come off as a little bit too much sometimes. She is also on good terms with her family. While her religious and family life might be extremely stable, the rest of her life is somewhat unbalanced. She is unsure what she will be doing after college, even though she is a senior now. While she was set to earn a teaching degree, she is unsure whether that is what she desired to pursue. Furthermore, a Sociology degree (as a second degree option) was not going to give her many choices, either. She has already become burnt out from school (4 years in both high school and college), having major senioritis. Her romantic life is not quite as stable either, for she had already gone through several different boyfriends since her senior year in high school, some ending more or less gracefully than others.
One thing just recently has begun to bother her. Recently, she was injected with the same serum that gave the Raptor (Zac Wilson) and the Wasp (Kelly Brown) their powers. At first, unlike those two, Aubrey’s physical appearance has not changed at all (besides the wrist spinnerets). However, after a few days had pasted, her condition progressed, resulting in Aubrey waking up to find that her entire lower body had been replaced by that of a giant Brown Widow Spider. While she can hide her drider-like appearance with a power-nullifier that Christopher Arthur III had reverse-engineered from a similar object taken from Raptor (Zac Wilson), she has to sleep without it due to the adverse side effects from wearing it too long.
Aubrey has slightly above average height for a woman (five foot nine) and her comic book-like physique was the result of a reaction between her own healing factor and a metahuman's ability to a person's appearance to whatever the metahuman desired. She has blonde hair and gray-blue eyes.
The below costume, but substitute the brown with gray.
These two images give an idea how the spider lower body human upper body combination looks like. However, they are only inspirations, not exact images for Aubrey. Costume on first is not what Aubrey will wear...
Origin Info/Details:
Aubrey Rose Adkins was born into what most people would consider a normal life. She was from a middle-class family around the Columbus, OH. She was heavily involved with sports, was Homecoming Queen her senior year in high school, even went to college at St. Henry’s University, a liberal arts Catholic university in Columbus. Everything seemed to be extremely normal, until late January this year arrived.
Aubrey’s life was turned upside down when she was kidnapped by a mad scientist (same man who gave Raptor and Wasp their powers) and subjected to an experiment involving the finally stabilized serum. Luckily for Aubrey, the Raptor and Iron Knight had infiltrated (not coordinated) where the scientist was holding her. Now, since she has escaped from the clutches of the mad scientist, Aubrey must attempt to learn to assimilate herself back into her ‘normal’ life. Or is this even possible?
Sports have always been part of Aubrey’s life, especially during high school. When she was in high school, if she was not currently at one sport’s practice, she was probably running off to another one. While this had given her practice at juggling multiple aspects of life at once, nevertheless it sometimes negatively affected her grades. Once she got to college, she had to pick one sport and stick with it. She picked soccer (one reason why was that she received a scholarship at her small university to play that sport). Therefore, she had to drop the others and focus on soccer (and school).
Whether it was just some dumb luck or a fate dictated by the laws of the multiverse, Aubrey was one of the individuals who were abducted by the scientist that would be later known as Doctor Diplodoc. Once she was in his captivity, she was injected with a serum that the doctor had developed to naturally give regular humans powers. However, she did not need to wait long to be rescued, the combined efforts of Raptor and the Iron Knight helped free her along with Kelly Brown and Veronica Arthur. But before they escaped, Aubrey, along with the villianess Black Widow, fell into a vat full of Doctor Diplodoc's serum, resulting in the two women swapping powers. Although she did not immediately transform into the drider-like humanoid that the Black Widow was, she would soon find out that she eventually would.
After being freed from S.T.R.I.K.E. custody, Aubrey discovered that her liberator was actually the Greek goddess Athena. At that time, Aubrey had no idea what type of trouble that the daughter of Zeus would drag her into, but she would soon learn. During the D-Day invasion of Lost Haven, Athena brought her into the middle of all the craziness that was that day. After taking down a Leviathan-like demon snake with the help of War-Pulse, she confronted Iron Knight (Christopher Arthur), who had placed her in S.T.R.I.K.E. custody in the first place.
After D-Day, Aubrey tried going out to let off some steam. However, since Athena had empowered her during the fight against the demon snake, Aubrey blacked out during the night. As a result, a group involved with human trafficking picked her up while she was out cold. Although Aubrey was able to escape her cell and contact the police and the FBI, her actions resulted in the leader of this group, a metahuman who had the power to change the appearance of anyone in anyway, started to showcase Aubrey to group's potential buyers by transforming our hero into a variety of real and fictional characters. Once the authorities arrive, the leader of this group left Aubrey in the appearance of the Sorceress from Dragon's Crown.
However, her healing factor would not leave Aubrey with this fate. Slowly, her innate metahuman powers began reverting Aubrey back to her original appearance. However, when the metahuman, who had changed Aubrey's appearance in the first place, used her powers to change Aubrey back, Aubrey's healing factor became confused by a contradiction: it needed to revert the changes made by the metahuman's powers, but Aubrey's original form was also restored by this same power. Since it considered her original appearance as an alteration by the metahuman's power, Aubrey's healing factor created a new 'default point', mixing and blending any of the previous transformations where the healing factor had not already fixed. Therefore, Aubrey was left with a body that was not her own, except for anything from the neck up, her skin, and a few others parts.
And this nightmare did not end there. When she woke up the next morning, Aubrey was horrified to find that her entire lower body had been replaced by that of a giant spider. After concluding that her healing factor would prevent her from the easy way to escape her fate as a "freak", she tried to hide her condition until she could locate her power-nullifying wristband(which would make her look "normal" again). However, this did not go according to plan, as Aubrey accidentally revealed her drider form on a Skype conversation to Will, with whom Aubrey's alternate universe doppelganger had set up this 'date'.
Once all of these transformations had ended, Athena had finally gotten another task for Aubrey. In Lost Haven, a shape-shifting metahuman, in the guise of Ares, was trying to spread the worship of Ares against the "Prime Directive" of the Athanatoi. This "Ares" also had an empowered follower, named Polemos, whom Arachne had to trick into thinking that she had injected lethal poison into him. With the aid of the hero Icon, Arachne and Athena were able to stop this wannabe Ares' unauthorized activities after a hard-fought battle.
During the downtime between Athena's various tasks and missions, while a little buzzed from some caffeine she had recently ingested, Aubrey accidentally slipped that she (and her roommates) thought that her friend's roommate, Danielle, was in the "adult film" industry (to put it nicely). However, it turned out that this was not the case and Aubrey received her just desserts when Danielle guilted Aubrey into doing some modeling jobs.
Furthermore, just for the fun of screwing with Athena's pupil, Aphrodite sent her son, Cupid, to Aubrey's residence. While Aubrey was chatting with Will via an instant messenger, Cupid made sure his aim was true and let loose his love-inducing arrow at Aubrey. As a result of Aubrey and Will set up an in-person date. Due to the distance between where the two of them lived, Aubrey guilted Athena into taking her because of how often Athena had dragged her around.
When Doctor Diplodoc had revealed his intent on transforming every person on the Earth into metahumans, Aubrey was recruited by War-Pulse for a team of superheroes who were organized by Christopher Arthur III (Iron Knight). She helped the other heroes assault Doctor Diplodoc's base and apprehending him and his allies.
Hero Type: Muscle/Acrobat (i.e. Spider-Girl)
Power Level: B. City Level (Ex. Spider-Man, Cyclops)
Powers:
-Wall-Crawling: Arachne has the ability to create atomic attraction between herself and other objects, allowing her to adhere to numerous surfaces.
-Spider-Sense: Arachne possesses the ability to sense people’s movements through the miniscule vibrations she feels in the ground when people move and changes in air pressure. Along with an uncanny 6th sense that can detect danger (but not pinpoint it – Arachne must rely on the vibrations and air pressure for that), this allows Arachne to be quite an allusive target.
-Hybrid Bio-Mechanical Web-Shooters: Arachne has natural spinnerets in her wrists; however, she cannot eject them from her wrists like Spider-Man does in the original Spider-Man films with Toby McGuire. She can only pull the threads out like pulling out floss. However, Christopher Arthur III created a device that would draw the webs from her wrists and eject them, just like Spider-Man’s web-shooters.
-Superhuman Strength: Arachne can easily lift approximately 50 tons. She can lift more weight if she exerts herself. Arachne must also pull her punches against opponents without similar levels of durability and strength.
-Superhuman Speed: Arachne’s natural speed exceeds that of modern Olympic athletes. In other words, she could give Usain Bolt a run for his money.
-Superhuman Stamina: Arachne does not produce as many fatigue toxins while she physically exerts himself. She has to spend several hours under strenuous circumstances to feel impaired by these toxins.
-Superhuman Agility and Reflexes: Arachne is twice as flexible than a normal human, allowing her to perform acrobatic maneuvers that high-level gymnast would envy. Her reflexes are 20 times greater than an average human’s would be.
-Superhuman Durability: Arachne can take punishment that would severely injure or otherwise kill an average person. Arachne must roll with punches against her in order to prevent the assailant from breaking their limbs.
-Superhuman Sense of Equilibrium: Arachne can retain a perfect state of equilibrium, allowing her to remain oriented while crawling upside down and performing acrobatic moves.
-Resistance to Foreign Chemicals: Arachne’s metabolism allows her to be less effected by drugs and diseases.
-Immunity to Vampirism: Arachne has nothing to fear from the characters of Twilight...
-Superhuman Healing Factor: While not anywhere near as efficient as mainstream Wolverine’s healing factor, Arachne can significantly recuperate from injuries more quickly than they would otherwise normally take. She will eventually heal from any wound, however, the more serious the wound, the longer it will take it to heal.
Attributes:
Height: 5’ 9’’ (human), ~6’ (drider)
Weight: Didn’t your parents tell you not to ask a girl about her weight? Rude!
Cup Size: WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
Strength Level: 50 tons.
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 30 MPH.
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 3 hours.
Agility: 20X Human level (2x Flexible).
Intelligence: Average
Fighting Skill: Untrained
Resources: Minimal
Weaknesses: -Vulnerable to Pesticides, especially ones targeted towards spiders -Able to “run dry” of web fluid, if she uses too much. -She is vulnerable from attacks from behind because she cannot turn her body all the way around to deal with it. -She is (over-time) invulnerable in body, but her spirit and mind do not have the same luxury.
Supporting Characters: -Emily Porter: One of the Viera models and a friend of Aubrey's. She is also originally from Ohio. -Ashley Winston: One of Aubrey’s ex-roommates. -Felecia Blackwood: One of Aubrey’s ex-roommates. -Kristin Harding: One of Aubrey’s ex-neighbors and friends. -William Grant: Boyfriend. Aphrodite's joy in uniting people into an unlikely couple brought Aubrey and Will together. -Athena: Greek Goddess of Wisdom. Still feeling guilty about the transformation of the ancient Arachne into a spider, she has decided to provide her aid to Aubrey, whether or not Aubrey likes it.

The Worst Week of My Life
My name is Aubrey Adkins. Welcome to the worst week of my entire life.
After I had been kidnapped and injected with some weird serum that was concocted by a mad scientist, you might have thought that I had faced the worst of it. But if you thought this, you would be dead wrong.
When I got back to my apartment near St. Henry’s, right when I opened the front door, my two roommates rushed over to me, embracing me in their arms. Before I called them a few hours ago, my two roommates feared that I had been kidnapped by a certain trafficking operation that had just all the sudden sprung out of nowhere. Once they saw me, they over overcome with joy.
“Hey, Aubrey,” Felecia said, “Why don’t we celebrate your return by going out to eat and then getting some liquor?”
“Well, I think I will pass on this one. All I really want to do tonight is sleep.” I really wanted to go with them, but considering all the craziness I had experience over the last 24 hours or so, all I needed was to rest.
“Well, suit yourself.” Felecia said, “We’ll just celebrate for you.”
--- Another strange occurrence happened while I was preparing to go to bed. After I threw on my pajamas and brushed my teeth, I noticed that there was a small white box sitting on my bed. I have already seen that box before. In fact, I had left that box behind at that rich billionaire’s mansion. While I would never admit it to anyone, I left it there on purpose. I mean, I had zero intent to become some spandex-clad super-heroine.
Since my two roommates were out of the apartment, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try it on once. I mean, I would wear it once and then trash it. Well, within that box were three items: the costume itself, two web shooters, and this device that would nullify my powers, although I think the purpose of it was more focused on the others who could not blend in with normal people. Unlike me, who pretty much looked like a normal person.
The web shooters were kind of unique. Unlike Peter Parker in the original Spider-Man movies, I couldn’t eject webs from my wrists. I could pull it out, but I can’t shoot a drag line to swing around on or something along those lines. Well, these little gadgets work just like how Spider-Man’s web shooters in his most recent movie, except instead of using artificial webs it uses the webbing in my wrists. It is kind of weird if you think about it, but what can you do about it?
Once I had changed into the costume that was in the white box, I checked out how I looked in the bathroom mirror. To be honest, I thought I looked like a genderbent Spider-Man. It was just a tad bit weird. I had my hair tied back into a ponytail that flowed out the back of the mask I wore. The costume itself did not look too familiar. It showed a hint of Spider-Man, but it wasn’t the ‘classic’ look, if you know what I mean. The only thing going for me was that since I had a somewhat athletic build, I didn’t look like some fangirl cosplaying a comic book character.
“That costume fits mighty nicely on you, Aubrey.” A heavenly sounding voice said. That voice made me jump in place since I thought I was alone in my apartment. Once I turned, I realized that there was someone else in the apartment.
Standing in the living room of our apartment was an extremely tall woman with titanium blonde hair and gray eyes. She wore a dress that fell to her ankles, along with a glimmering breastplate. She broached a blue cloak with rather large pin that had a large face on it, which kind of looked like an extremely ugly man. On her head, she had one of those classic Greek helmets and she wore it on to of her head just like how a football player does when he allows the helmet rest atop of his head, but does not allow it to come down over his face. Finally, there was an owl sitting on her shoulder, its head cocked towards one side, as if it was examining its surroundings.
“Who are you?” I asked, kind of freaked out that someone was in our apartment, especially someone I didn’t know.
“Why, I am Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom and the Patroness of Athens, of course.”

Character Personality: Kyle has always been a laid back guy, who despite having a somewhat difficult upbringing would be described by most as being carefree for the most part. However, he does have a tendency of getting overwhelmed, and that can sometimes cause him to get into a bit of a funk, which can be difficult to pull him out of. However, in the months since his abilities began to manifest, and he took to the streets as the costumed vigilante Lyger, he has been more serious even as he tries to maintain his carefree lifestyle.

Origin Info/Details: Kyle Porter has had a hard life by some standards. His mother died when he was a young boy and never really got to know her. He was raised by his father, who never got over the death of his wife and mostly found comfort in the bottom of a whiskey bottle. He went through much of his life in relative obscurity, never popular at school, however not really unpopular. His life changed once he enrolled at Lost Haven University. He became relatively popular on campus, he even started to date a sophomore. However, his life would change even further one night while he was on his way back to the dorms after a party. The car that he was riding in was struck by a drunk driver, and Kyle was severely injured. He required emergency surgery as well as a blood transfusion. Little did anyone know that the blood he received contained the meta gene, and when the blood mixed with his own, he began to develop special abilities of his own.

"Just wanted to make sure you're decent." She quipped as she approached his bed.
"Yeah. I'm good to go. Just waiting to get the OK from the doctors." He said.
Sam took a seat beside the bed as Kyle packed the few possessions that he had in the hospital room into a small plastic bag. After several long minutes, the nurse came in and told him that the last tests came back clear and that he was free to go.
"Awesome. Let's head down to the lobby and wait for my dad." He said cheerily.
"Um...your dad can't make it. He had to fly out to Pacific Point last night for business. He asked me to come get you." She said, somewhat apologetically.
"So...you're my ride?" He asked.
"You're quick, aren't you?" She said with a grin.
"Oh great...first the crash and now this....Somebody really wants me dead." He joked even as she smacked him on the arm as they made their way down the hall.
Speech Color (Actually say what you're using): N/A
Character Alignment: Villain
Identity: Secret
Character Personality: Killjoy and Annabelle strive to cause chaos. Killjoy is cold and cruel, yet possesses a dynamic personality which tends to draw people toward him. He is a master manipulator who has an uncanny ability to get into your head and push your buttons. Annabelle on the other hand is a certifiable lunatic, who’s madness may be attributed to her brothers manipulations and abuse.
Uniform/costume:
Though neither have a specific costume, Killjoy is often seen wearing a black leather trench coat and on occasion a top hat, while Annabelle prefers skirts with (often) torn nylons, leather corsets. Though, she will sometimes wear black leather pants with black leather corset, and a coat.
Origin Info/Details:
Little is known about Annabelle and Killjoy’s early life. As children, they were found alone in an abandoned meat packing plant in Madison Wisconsin. They were turned over to the state, and after months of meeting with social workers and mental health professionals. Though they were not able to ascertain just what it was, it was clear to the professionals that both children had witnessed something traumatic which had severely damaged their psyches. It was deemed that they were too “damaged” to be placed with a foster home. Instead, they were sent to the Lakeside Treatment Center in Kenosha Wisconsin, one of, if not the most infamous mental health facility in all of Wisconsin. This is where they would spend their formative years.
During their time at Lakeside, Both Killjoy and Annabelle, who had been given the names of Joseph and Lucy Smith by the administrators of the facility had been subject to numerous abuses, both mental and physical. It was in this time that “Joe” mastered the ability to read people and figure out their motivations, and manipulate the people around him to get what he wanted. Also during this time, he became increasingly violent and was responsible for several deaths in the facility, which earned him a spot in the maximum security ward of the facility, where he found himself in total isolation 24 hours a day.
While in solitary, “Joe” was discovered laying face down in his cell and was sent to the medical wing of the facility to await transport to a local hospital. Naturally, this was simply a rouse to get himself out of the maximum security wing. And even under armed guard, “Joe” was able to escape from the medical wing. He then made his way through the facility and was able to make his way to his sister’s room. From there, Killjoy and Annabelle were able to evade the Lakeside staff and escape from the facility. Although there were statewide efforts to find them, the siblings were able to avoid capture and remain at large.

Character you have created: Zachary “Zac” Wilson Alias: [The] Raptor (originally Raptor-Man when I envisioned the character a few years ago, but I thought having a character named Raptor-Man and a player whose name is also Raptor-Man would be confusing.)
Speech Color: Standard Forum Text, Peru (CD853F)
Character Alignment: Hero
Identity: Secret
Character Personality: While Zac always has good intentions and is dedicated to both his family and friends, he can sometimes be extremely stubborn and, sometimes, have a short fuse. His was raised in a traditional Christian household. While he is not extremely religious (going to church on Wednesday and Sunday), his parent’s beliefs have shaped Zac’s character. After his transformation, Zac is self-conscious of his height (he shrank down from barely 6 foot to 5 foot, 4 inches). With his short-temper, sparks might fly if someone mentions his height deficiency...
Uniform/costume: Until he gets a costume, the Raptor will wear normal clothing. His eventual costume will consist of two shades of brown (darker and lighter) with several black stripes on his back, arms, legs, and neck.
Origin Info/Details:
Zachary Bernard Wilson was born to Robert and Meredith Wilson. Zac lived a practically normal life as a single child in Timber Falls, New York, a small town in Essex County, northwest of Ticonderoga, NY. One of the only noteworthy events of Zac’s life was, when he was still in elementary school, Zac was swarmed by several wasps and was hospitalized due to their stings. Zac was the star running back at his high school (and practically their whole offense) and was offered a scholarship to play running back at the Albany State College. While attending college, Zac started to date Kelly Brown, a freshman Nursing major. After their first year at college, Kelly visited Zac and his family in Timber Falls during the last weeks of Summer Break. Everyone expected it to be a normal summer vacation; unfortunately, it turned out to be something quite different.
While Zac and Kelly were enjoying the outdoors near his parent's house, this young couple was kidnapped by the scientist, Dorian Dipillan, who would soon be known as Doctor Diplodoc and injected them with his experimental serum, which transformed Zac into a raptor-human hybrid and Kelly into a human wasp. However, since this formula was not perfected, besides superhuman powers, it had a side effect that the body would slowly degrade over time. Doctor Diplodoc was using a metahuman named Tiresias to gain access to what seemed like a persons' dream. When Doctor Diplodoc discovered that there was a metahuman-version of Zac in this dream, he sent his world's version of Zac into that dream so that Zac could be given the correct formula, which would in turn allow Doctor Diplodoc to perfect his own serum.
In what seemed like a "dream" world, Zac was healed of the serum's negative effects, the heroes of this world tried to help teleport Zac back to our world. However, this world's version of Arachne was accidentally teleported back with Zac. After freeing Tiresias from his captors and healing Kelly of the negative effects of the serum she had been injected with, the old man sent this otherworldly Arachne back home.
One day after six months had past, Doctor Diplodoc hired four mercenaries with elemental-based powers to kidnap Zac and Kelly and brought them to Lost Haven. Icon intervened and restrained the mercenaries, despite how the villains made it seem like Zac and Kelly were the "bad guys" because Kelly had knocked one of the mercenaries out with her wasp stinger. After Kelly received a new costume from the superhero tailor, Mr. Giuseppe, a metahuman at a community shelter that Icon recommended to the two young metahumans helped Zac and Kelly get home.
Later, when Kelly was hospitalized from an inverse reaction to bug repellent, Kelly was forcefully coerced into joining Doctor Diplodoc and his allies. At the same time, Zac was kidnapped while outside of the hospital by one of Doctor Diplodoc's minions, Black Widow. When Zac woke up, he found himself in an abandoned facility in West Virginia, along with Veronica Arthur and their world's version of Aubrey Adkins (Arachne). By the intervention of Veronica's brother, Chris (Iron Knight), Zac and Kelly were able to escape from Doctor Diplodoc's clutches, although they were just transferred from Doctor Diplodoc's custody to S.T.R.I.K.E.'s.
However, when Athena helped free Zac, Kelly, and Aubrey from S.T.R.I.K.E. custody, Zac and Kelly found themselves in a field where an RV had been set aflame. Nearby, they found Kelly's best friend, Sammy, who had been transformed into a large cat that had her human head attached to it. When the police arrived, Zac chased after the people who had transformed Sammy, although Kelly was not able to keep up and therefore was taken into police custody. However, once Zac had found and subdued the perpetrators, had kidnapped a kid and killed her parents, the police released Kelly because they know had the true criminals.
Next, a villainess named the Silver Sorceress used her magic to create a false sense of jealousy in Kelly. Once she had succeeded in making Kelly believe that Zac was cheating on her, the Silver Sorceress struck, turning both young metahumans into stone. However, after the Greek gods Hermes and Asclepius restored Sammy to a more humanoid form (she still had cat ears and a tail) and gave her an anti-magic herb, Sammy went to her friend's apartment and freed Zac and Kelly from the Silver Sorceress' magic and defeat the magic user.
When Doctor Diplodoc announced to the world his intent to transform everyone on the Earth into metahumans, Christopher Arthur (Iron Knight) sent Lyger and Radiance to recruit Zac and Kelly because they had some experience with Doctor Diplodoc in the past. Along with the other heroes whom Christopher Arthur had assembled, they were able to stop Doctor Diplodoc's plans and apprehend him and his allies.

Sample Post (Minimum Four paragraphs containing dialogue. As this is an Advanced Level game, Sample must also meet the RPG forum's minimum requirement of 12 lines):
A soft breeze whirled through the small, wooded town of Timber Falls, on a day that would otherwise had been a hot, sunny day. A small car steadily crawled up the mountainous roads, heading towards an average sized country house. Once the car had pulled up the gravel driveway, a young man hopped out of the driver’s seat and collected in his hands several pieces of luggage from trunk. From the other side of the vehicle, another person stepped out onto the gravel, a young lass. She wrapped her arms around his toned arms, her head barely reaching the top of his shoulders.
“Do you think your parents are going to like me?” This would be the first time Kelly met her boyfriend’s parents because both Kelly and Zac had been so busy with their first year of college.
“Are you kidding me? What is there not to like?” Kelly’s cheeks glowed red after she heard Zac’s complement. Even though she thought that she was likable, deep down inside her heart, there was still some doubt.
Once they reached the front door, Zac pressed the doorbell. Even though the door was shut, they both could hear feet hurrying down a set of stairs. A few moments later, the front door sung up and Zac’s mother engulfed her son in a big bear hug.
“O how I missed my little Zachary!”
“Mom...” Zac moaned. Zac was the leading rusher in the conference, with which his college, Albany State University, was associated. He even was only a true freshman, too!
“Don’t ‘mom’ me, Zachary.” Mrs. Wilson finally released her vice grip on Zac, allowing him finally to breathe. “Are you eating enough at college?”
“I eat fine, thank you very much.” Zac quickly grasped Kelly by her arms and pulled her in front of himself. “Mom, this is Kelly, my girlfriend”
“Oh, welcome to Timber Falls, dear!” Mrs. Wilson took Kelly by surprise when she too received a big bear hug..”
“Um...thanks,” Kelly murmured, trying to catch her breath. Once Kelly escaped from Mrs. Wilson’s arms, she teetered for a few seconds, finally being able to breathe.
“Speaking of eating, are you eating enough, dear?”
“Meredith, you do know you shouldn’t talk about a woman’s weight.” A man, dressed in boots and a wide-brimmed hat, stepped onto the porch form inside the house.
“Oh, Robert, I was merely pointing out a simple observation”.
“You were insinuating that she was too underweight.” Zac and Kelly just looked at one another, unsure whether they should be laughing at such a trivial argument.
“If you don’t mind, I’m going to show Kelly to her room,” Zac interrupted his parents. There were two guest bedrooms in their house, one next to Zac’s room and one neighboring his parent’s room. Of course, Mrs. Wilson picked the latter room for Kelly, so that Mrs. Wilson might be able to hear anyone sneaking off to someone else’s room during the night for some hanky-panky, as she called it.
“Kids, now remember, if you stay beside the window-side wall, the floor panel won’t squeak,” Mr. Wilson whispered, although his wife could still hear him.
“Robert, don’t be giving them any ideas!”
“Oh, I was merely pointing out a simple observation.” Robert smiled at his wife, while she was just shaking her head. The two parents just watched as their son hurried along with his girlfriend, going to get her settled in for the week. However, their blissful moment would only be short, for the telephone inside the house began to ring. And as Mr. Wilson answered the telephone and listened to whoever was on the other line, his smile quickly washed off his face. Even before her husband walked back to the front porch, Mrs. Wilson already knew that something was wrong. His posture and facial expression revealed it all.
“Sorry, Meredith, but I am going to have to cut this little family moment a little short. Farmer McGregor had some problems with his chickens and he wanted me to check it out.”
“I understand,” his wife replied, her hopes for a nice, family moment crushed.
Seeing his wife’s mood plummet, Mr. Wilson swung his arms around her and smiled at her.
Character you have created: Christopher “Chris” Arthur III (CA3 – pronounced like RG3) Alias: Iron Knight. Also known by: Daedalos Mk. 5, Project Theophonos (god-slayer)
Speech Color: Standard Forum Text, Silver (C0C0C0)
Character Alignment: Hero
Identity: Semi-secret, except to certain officials in STRIKE.
Character Personality: As a playboy billionaire, Christopher beats his drums at his own tempo. He’s business by day, party by night, although he allows his leaned back nature bleed into his business affairs. Beyond his business life, Christopher enjoys Greek culture and history, utilizing his companies funds to support archaeological digs in search of new finds in this field, even though they are rare. He is also protective of his half-sister, since she is his only family left (see Origin Info/Details for more info).
Uniform/costume:
Due to his side interest in ancient Greece (and history in a lesser extent), his armor has some influences from these time periods. The helmet in the suit shows this influence the best, since it resembles the helmet of the classical Greek hoplite. His armor also has an energy-powered long sword, inspired by the knights from the Medieval period. He also has a weapon what he calls the “Energy Javelin”, which was inspired by both the Homeric combat in the Iliad, where the Heroes would first throw a spear at one another before they engaged in hand-to-hand combat, and the Roman Pila, which would break on contact so that an enemy could not revenge kill with it. His armor has other, more conventional weapons, but these are the “out of the box” ones.
At first, I kind of struggled with what I wanted Iron Knight’s armor to look like. I knew I didn’t want him to look just like Iron Man. Furthermore, I had an idea in my head what I wanted it to look like, but I could not put it down in words or even draw it out. After a little brainstorming, I remembered that I saw my brother and his friend either looking at or making a website about Gundam Wing (I cannot remember which, I was still fairly young). Although I found out that they were giant robots from doing some internet research (but it doesn’t’ surprise me, since it is a Japanese show), I still thought it gave the robotic feel I wanted. I just would have to scale it down to human size (i.e. like Iron Man in a way). Therefore, I placed a link to an image that I thought could be used as an inspiration for the suit (but obviously not an exact copy).
There are several changes I would make to the suit. First, the Greek hoplite inspired helmet (it would look like a hoplite helmet, but there would not be any openings in the front, and there would not be a plume). I would remove the wing-like attachments on the shoulders, and everything below the waist would resemble Ultimate Iron Man more than the sample image. I would probably make the breastplate more flat and all the joints would have to be made so that a man could fit inside the suit. Also, the color scheme would be different shades of gray.
Christopher Arthur III was born to Lexington Arthur II and Medea Arthur. The Arthurs were an extremely wealthy Virginian family, with its wealth tied both from inheritance from their ancestors and profit from the Arthur’s corporation, the Knight’s Corp. At age 16, Christopher graduated from MIT, specializing in Advanced Robotics and Electrical Engineering (he also picked up a minor in ancient Greek from a local college). Two years later, he received his Master’s. Christopher started to work in the Robotics Division at Knight’s Corp.
However, after his first graduation from college, Christopher’s life was turned upside down. His father had been involved in an affair for several years, which resulted in a child being born outside of wedlock. After Christopher received his Master’s degree, his father divorced his current wife and married his mistress. Five years later, a deranged Medea returned and killed herself along with Christopher’s father and his stepmother, leaving Christopher and his half-sister orphaned (who in their right mind would divorce someone by the name of Medea? That’s just asking for trouble). As a result of his father’s death, Christopher inherited both his family’s wealth along with his father’s company.
While Christopher did not have problem socializing with people through his life, he never allowed people to become extremely close to him, except for his childhood friend, Cynthia. While Christopher’s accelerated education robbed them of attending middle and high school together, they both continued to remain in contact. While Cynthia was by no means as intelligent as Christopher was, she was still quite smart for the average American student (top 5 in her graduating class) and she was a nice change of pace to talk to when you are constantly surrounded by super-geniuses. While Christopher desired that they became something more than just “friends”, but he did not want to risk ruining their current friendship if a romantic relationship did not work out. Even they went their separate ways, with Christopher running his father’s company and Cynthia becoming an Archaeologist, they still continued to find a way to keep in contact, even if it has to be emails and IM’s.
If someone asked him why he dubbed his armor “Daedalos”, he would give his usual response, that some terrorists in the Aegean held him up on an island and he created the suit to fly away, just as Daedalos fled from King Minos of Crete in Greek Mythology. However, this wasn’t the true story. Two years ago (from the beginning of this RP), his childhood friend developed a rare, but fatal and inoperative cancer. Christopher frantically developed his prototype robotic exoskeleton, designing it to keep her alive, while the chemotherapy, that would normally could not be used, destroyed the cancer. Christopher called the exoskeleton “Daedalos” because he hoped it would help free Cynthia from her cancer, just as Daedalos’s invention helped him escape Minos. However, Cynthia died before he could get his final product finished.
Shortly after his friend’s death, S.T.R.I.K.E. approached Christopher about his exoskeleton. They wanted Christopher to develop it into a mechanized armor that would allow normal humans to compete with the rising metahuman population, just in case something went out of hand. Since Christopher had already sunk a huge amount of his company’s resources into this project, he couldn’t say no.
Chris has been used by S.T.R.I.K.E. as one of their special forces for taking on metahuman threats that the regular S.T.R.I.K.E. squads could not handle. One such threat was Nightmare, a metahuman who was gathering allies and were causing several massacres in Lost Haven. Other threats includes the D-Day invasion of Lost Haven and the Pax Metahumana Crisis.
One day, the minions of Doctor Diplodoc broke into Chris' mansion in Richmond and kidnapped his half-sister, Veronica. By using a tracking system that he had implanted in his half-sister, Chris followed the signal to an abandoned factory in West Virginia. Once there, he helped free his half-sister, along with a few other captives. However, other than Veronica, the other captives were placed in a temporary custody while they waited to be picked up by S.T.RI.K.E. When those individuals happened to disappear without a trace, Chris left the investigation to S.T.R.I.K.E. because holding those individuals captives in the first place was pretty borderline illegal.
Days later, some idiot opened a portal between our world and a dimension similar to what we would imagine as hell. During this event, the heroes of Lost Haven rallied together to fight the interdimensional beings and close the portal. Once the portal was closed, it was simply mop-up work until the invaders were vanquished.
Weeks after that, the scientist, Doctor Diplodoc, announced to the world that he planned to transform everyone on earth into metahumans. As the heroes of Lost Haven searched the city to find the device that Doctor Diplodoc had hid in that city, Chris decided that the best option was to assemble a team of heroes to take down this "terrorist". After the heroes had either destroyed or deactivated Doctor Diplodoc's devices, he sent the heroes to the doctor's base, the same place where Chris had first found his sister and the other captives. Once the doctor had surrendered, Chris handed him over to the proper authorities.
Finally, once Nightmare showed his ugly face in Lost Haven, again, Chris teamed up with Icon, Lyger, the Aquilifer, Radiance, and Ramsey to take Ngihtmare and his allies down, once and for all. After Nightmare had absorbed his allies into himself, going full "final boss mode" on the them, the heroes combined their strength until they vanquished this monster that had taken countless lives since his arrival in Lost Haven.

The cold wind chilled Colonel Cornwall as he paced around an observation bunker situated within the Nevada desert. He quickly glanced at his watch and groaned at what he saw.
“Damn Billionaires, why can’t they have any sense of time? They should learn that the solar system is heliocentric, not egocentric.”
Suddenly, a television monitor switched on within the room, revealing an image of a well-dressed man.
“Welcome, Colonel Cornwall, to an exclusive demonstration of the Daedalos Mark Four. I hope you sit back, relax, and enjoy your buttered popcorn that can be found at the nice concession stands to the rear of the theater. Please enjoy!”
“Can this guy take anything seriously?”
Finally, a robotic exoskeleton burst from the ground, flying straight up into the air. Once it reached the apex of its launch, it looped toward the ground until it straightened itself so that it was parallel to the ground. On the ground in front of the exo-suit were several metallic targets. Immediately after the suit reached the targets, it launched several missiles, piercing each target straight through the middle. The exoskeleton performed a crash down strike on the final target, smashing it with its fist.
In quick succession, the armor launched itself back into the air, darting towards a metallic structure that was beginning to collapse. Instantaneously, several rockets flew straight towards the armor, homing in for the killing blow; however, a blue energy shield appeared around the exoskeleton deflected every last one. The suit landed near one of the falling pillars that supported the collapsing structure, attempting to support the weight of the building. A small laser popped out from the suit, welding the pillar back in its place. The suit repeated this action on all the pillars, saving the almost-doomed building.
After the performance was completed, the Colonel stepped outside of the bunker, waiting for the armor to land.
“While it is totally clear that that armor can perform several different tasks, there is still one more question. So, Mr. Arthur, how does it performed against them meties*.”
However, when the helmet of the suit retracted, the Cornwall was shocked to discover that Christopher Arthur, CEO of Knight’s Corp was NOT the man controlling the suit.
“Sorry Colonel Cornwall,” the pilot said, “Mr. Arthur left for Brazil on quite a short notice. Unless you really want to bother him with an international phone call, you would probably have to wait until he comes back.”
“What is God’s name is he doing in Brazil?” ---- * Meties = Metahumans (similar to Muties = Mutants).

As Alexa and John made it through a clearing to get a great view of the lake, she noticed strange lights in the sky overhead. Convinced that it was nothing more than a spectacular display of a phenomenon like the Northern Lights, John urged her on to watch the spectacle. Suddenly, the sky seemed to explode, and a bolt of lightning shot out of the sky. However, this was not like any lightning either had ever seen, for there was not a cloud in the sky and it was red in color. Ever since she was a girl, Alexa Winstone has loved Big Bear Mountain. Her childhood is riddled with memories of week long vacations to the Southern California ski resort with her family. To this day, she remembers the thrill she felt the first time she strapped a pair of skis on and took the ski lift to the top of the mountain. She remembers, just as if it were yesterday the her first wipeout. And just as if it were yesterday, she remembers her first heartbreak. She had been 13, his name was Kenny. A 25 year old ski instructor with flowing golden locks who looked like he had stepped directly off of the cover of a trashy romance novel. Deep down she had known all along that their love, or at least she had imagined that it had been their love, was doomed to fail. However, the knowledge that their "relationship" was doomed, or the fact that Kenny had hardly even noticed that she was alive did little to ease the pain of that heartbreak.
However, that was years ago, and she had mostly forgotten all about Kenny. She had continued to frequent the resort over the years, both with her family, and without them. Her most recent expedition to Big Bear is a week long getaway with her boyfriend Jason, her best friend Kara and some other friends, many of whom she doesn't really know all that well, but has run into from time to time on the LA party scene. Over the last few days, Alexa has been getting tired of the drama that is a constant at the cabin, and is excited for a nice nighttime hike with Jason. Because the mountain is almost like a second home to her, Alexa knows the trails like the back of her hand, and is excited to show Jason the spectacular moonlit view of Big Bear Lake.
As Jason and Alexa traverse the trail to the lake, taking great care not to slip in the snow, they finally find themselves in a clearing, which opens up to give a picturesque view the lake, with the mountain in the background. She inches closer to Jason and embraces him in a long hug, the warmth from his broad chest gives her momentary relief from the cold, which is something that, no matter how often she visits the mountain, she is never quite able to get used to.
"This is so nice." Alexa says dreamily into Jason's coat.
"It really is." Jason responds.
As they take in the view, they notice something strange taking form in the sky. From the east, strange lights begin to dance and shimmer in the sky above them. There are beautiful green, orange, blue and red lights that almost appear to be a massive laser show of some sort. However, at the same time, it is nothing like anything that she has ever seen before.
"What is that? Maybe we should get back to the cabin." She says as she begins to pull away from Jason.
"Don't be silly, Kiddo. It's just the Northern Lights, I think." Jason says trying to comfort her.
Then suddenly, before she can respond, the sky explodes in a cascade of light, and a massive red lightening bolt crashes down just before them. Before either can move, a second red bolt crashes down, this time, directly striking Alexa. The force of the blast sends both Alexa and Jason sailing through the air, landing several yards away from each other. Alexa lays where she landed, her body engulfed in pain like nothing she had never experienced in her life, and before she knows it, she slips into darkness.
"....xa. Wake up. Alexa!" She hears the voices, but doesn't recognize them. Then, she is suddenly aware of a presence near her. She tries to open her eyes, but even that causes her pain. Finally, she does manage to open her eyes, only to find that it is now daylight, and Jason is standing over her with what seems like an army of rescue personnel. She tries to move, all she wants is to get up from the cold ground and be with Jason, however, instead she slips back into unconsciousness.
Character Personality: Cold and calculating, Forsaken by nature is always cool and calm, yet just under the surface boils an undeniable anger. He expects the very best from those who serve under him, and nothing less will suffice. He uses his intimidating stature to coerce people into doing what he wants, yet is not afraid to get his hands dirty, in fact, he rather relishes the chance to take someone's life. Believes in victory through overwhelming force, will use anything at his disposal to completely overpower a foe. Does have a desire to rule over the weak, and is willing do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals. Uniform/Costume:
Origin Info/Details:The man known only as Forsaken wasn't always a bad guy, like everyone else, he was simply trying to make his way in the world. But that all changed when a secret society known only as The Coven chose to use him as their pawn in what they felt was an inevitable war. Looking to create the perfect weapon, The Coven abducted him, genetically altering him and giving him powers that he could not even imagine. Although the experiments were for the most part a success, while he did become proficient with his new found power and became masterful fighter, able to hold his own with the best that the Coven had to offer, the toll that the experiments took on his body as well as his mind were quite unfortunate, though not entirely unexpected. He was severely deformed, and as a result, he chose to hide those deformities behind a mask. His mind was also fractured, and for several years suffered hallucinations that could only be described as living nightmares. Because of this, he was locked away in a sensory deprivation chamber which essentially held him in a form of suspended animation. However, he was strong willed and was able to overcome his psychosis during his imprisonment. At first he was embittered by his circumstances and felt the need to get retribution. However, eventually he came to the realization that the best way to take his revenge was by taking control of The Coven, and using it for his own ends. He developed a plan, and knew that it was only a matter of time before he would be implementing it. Eventually, the man now known only as Forsaken was able to escape from his confines, and immediately went to work in exacting his revenge. He was able to hunt down and exterminate the leadership of The Coven. When they were dead, he gave the remaining Coven members a choice- Join him, or die. With an army of his own, Forsaken reorganized The Coven into the mysterious organization known only by a few as The Crimson Talon. From there he returned to his ancestral homeland of Charonia, where he and the Crimson Talon took control of the small nation. After assassinating the Charonian Prime Minister and executing the nation's Senate, he alone was left to rule the country, as well as it's vast reserve of the volatile and rare metal Chromanium.

Character Personality: Now that he's been able to attain some resemblance of his old life, Arthur Nolan has really settled down in personality. Though the might persona still exists, Arthur himself is the same gritty detective he was just a few years prior. He's got some latent resemblance of trauma from the event that granted him his power, but nothing that would leave him a non-functional member of society.
Might is a warrior at his very core, through and through a love of battle and conquest are his greatest loves. Nothing is preferable to a good fight, save for a good feast and drink with a friend. Though he loves throwing down the gauntlet and challenging the greatest heroes of all time, he doesn't enjoy killing. In fact, he absolutely abhors it. Refusing vehemently to finish anyone who he fights against, except in the most dire of circumstance. Through hundreds of battles, he has become accustom to those who fight only to kill, those who fight for the blood sport. Though he doesn't sympathize with their blood thirst, he can understand falling into the miasma of blood lust.
Might carries himself with tremendous confidence. Shoulders squared, chin held high, a grin on his chin from ear to ear, a long stride and a wide swing of his arms with every step. The sheer confidence that is shown simply by Might walking into a room is enough to give certain folks pause. Despite his incredible defiance of anything resembling a shy personality or even a slight hint of disbelief in himself, Might's stride does not show arrogance. Every movement is with a certain deliberateness, not with the intent to intimidate. "
Though looking at him, the way he carries himself. The way he walks, the way he talks, the way he fights, even the way he looks. It's hard to believe that all of this is a facade, Might is actually the persona of a man who lost everything that he was. Everyone he ever loved, everything he ever owned. Originally, Might was named Arthur Nolan. Arthur was a detective in New York City. He was a brilliant detective, and was far from retiring. He intended to work long into his life and maybe into his grave, if things turned sour. He was dedicated to law enforcement and bringing criminals to justice, no matter how much danger he put himself into.
Since the events of the Pax Metahumana arc, Arthur Nolan has since returned to Detective Work. As he was able to convince the DMV that he was mutated by the event, and is now operating as a free agent. Able to use his identity, despite his remarkable and absurd appearance.
Appearance: With bronzed skin, so perfectly smooth that one could barely perceive a blemish upon close inspection. Hair as soft and springy as gossamer, with a crimson tone and soft curls that dance across the back of his neck and forehead. Barely covering the heads of his ears with their delicate thread ends. Might's eyes are as green as the brightest leaves of the olive tree, they seem to glow with a subtle verdant light. As though stars twinkled behind each of his irises. Standing just over eight feet in height, with shoulder width to match his great stature.
If you saw him unclothed, you would be awed by the absolute inhuman perfection of his musculature. Wholly unlike the body of a worker or warrior, each and every muscle on his body was perfectly crafted to each task they perform. From the crown of his head to the tips of his toes, it looks as if they were sculpted by a being that knew the function of every muscle and how they should look at the pinnacle of their fitness.
So too would you be awed by the hairlessness of his body, save for a patch of pubic hair that would be visible just above the bridge of his underpant line. It too is the perfect crimson gossamer as the hair that crowns him. To go into detail about other unclothed parts of him would be inappropriate, but his hindquarters are excellently sculpted. Despite having a low fat distribution, his buttocks are full and round. Unlike other musclemen who have a distinct lack of a butt.
Might's face follows the golden ratio with almost no deviation from the standard line. There's a nearly unearthly perfection to his face, as though it were carved by a skilled sculptor into marble. This singular perfection is accentuated by a complete absence of blemishes on his face. Not even a single unclean pore, scar, or pockmark. There are slight creases in his face that serve to outline his features.
His face has several features that are exclusively dominant traits. Detached earlobes, dimples, broad lips and his hair follows a widows peak. Though his hair color is a recessive trait among humans, Might is not actually a human. Among godkin and faeries red hair is the most common hair color, though the second most common is bright golden, followed closely by shiny silver hair.
It seems that the only flaws on his body are on his right arm.
The first is a massive scar on his right arm, running from the palm of his hand all the way up to his elbow. It is a lichtenberg figure. The sort of scar that forms when lightning strikes your body. It has grown and grown through numerous encounters with energy wielders. When in combat against a mage, or energy manipulator, it glows slightly with a crimson luminescence.
The second is a series of numerous blade marks on the palm of his hand. They generally all follow the same angle, running from between his index and thumb down across his palm. This is from countless blade caught in his right hand, it's better to have a scar on your hand than a missing head.
Lastly is how Might dresses, though innumerable warriors dress in fancy garb and hefty armor. Might dresses singularly, with many versions of the outfit in his closet. Starting on his head, he has a golden circlet adorned with a square cut Titanite gem in the center. This central gem rises up above the crown of his head, sticking up over his hair. On his shoulders, he wears a fastened poncho-cape hybrid. The fasten hangs on his neck on the left hand side, and it hangs slightly over onto his right arm. It is a purely aesthetic choice, inspired by comic books that he read when he was younger.
The rest of his attire is rather strange, he wears a long tunic that runs down past his knees, only just crossing the threshold of his kneecaps. The tunic is made of pinstripe fabric with grey lines crossing down the white-blue fabric. It's fairly simple in design, and doesn't actually have sleeves. His shoes are high tied Greek sandals, open toed straps of leather that are wrapped around his legs up to his knees. When in battle, Might has become incredibly proficient at girding his loins up very swiftly.
On his left wrist is a long bracer of steel and leather that wrap comfortably around his wrist and palm. There is an inscription on the iron plates on both the back of his hand and forearm. The inscriptions are in Arabic. The one on his hand reads: "Stand Tall." The one on his forearm reads: "Stay Resolute." He had them inscribed for appearances exclusively, they have no magical properties.
Origin Info/Details:
In 1986, former police officer and current detective Arthur Nolan began investigating the disappearance of two newborn infants. One male, one female, from a hospital in the East Harlem district. Newborns going missing is just something that doesn't happen. Rarely are there cases where babies are given to the wrong mother, but modern catalogs tend to prevent that from happening. But this? This was an intentional kidnapping. Even worse, there were very few clues. Save for a disgusting greenish-black tar-like substance that was on the floor leading away from the crib and down the hallway. It suddenly vanished once it reached the corner of the hall, and no cameras were installed in that particular corridor.
Arthur collected samples and brought them to countless resources for inspection. To absolutely no avail, and the inspection fell into a cold case. Though Arthur never really gave up on it, he kept it on the back shelf of his office. Pinned beneath a book about serial killers and the cases of false madness to get out of life sentencing. It collected dust for over a year, until another case that seemed entirely unrelated emerged.
It was a murder in East Harlem, pretty close to the hospital where a year ago the infants went missing. It wouldn't have been pertinent to him, and in fact, would have gone totally under his radar if he hadn't been told that a greenish-black tar had been found at the scene. With the memory of the stolen children still bothering him, this was startling news. Two seemingly unrelated crimes committed a year apart and within just a few miles of eachother, with some unworldly evidence left behind. Something like this didn't just 'happen' there are no coincidences when it comes to criminal cases. Not in Nolan's experience.
The scene had much more evidence this time around, though they couldn't identify what strange substances were left behind. The tar wasn't the only material, there were what looked to be chunks of flesh and holes blown through walls by shotgun and blunt object alike. Whatever had left the holes in the wall had been large, clearly not human sized. Though it seemed to be shaped human enough, so the supernatural size was largely perplexing. A few wrote it off as the work of a very large man, but Nolan wasn't so easy to pass off the supernatural. It was strange to say, but he had enough faith to believe that some things hide just beyond the corridors that we walk down to avoid the horrors just outside.
The investigation was far more intensive than the kidnappings, much to the frustrations of Detective Nolan. He felt as though a murder was bad, but two infants still missing to this day was so much more important in his mind.
From the crime scene he noticed that the victim had been a middle aged man, roughly forty four or forty five, a man who had been once before admitted to an asylum for criminal insanity. He was only recently released, seeming to have been rehabilitated. It was a crying shame how soon after his release that he was murdered. Though he had an illegally obtained shotgun found on his property, it was used in defense of himself against whatever foreign entity assaulted him.
There were no footprints leading away from the crime scene, only that damnable tar leading away and into nothingness. With no living witnesses, and no other evidence, the case was doomed to fall cold once again. The detective's heart was deeply saddened, the only hope he had for solving this case was photographing everything. No slight disturbance was left uncatalogued. The poor madman had been beaten to death, obviously by whatever big beast had invaded his home.
The Detective stumbled upon something during his photography. A dust-mark that was distinctly missing, like something had been on a shelf in his home and was gone now. He phoned the station and reported this, something like this couldn't be unrelated. Though the station brushed it off as a robbery gone wrong, and that's how the news reported it as well.
Even with everything logged and photographed, he was left with no real lead. It was another dead trail and he was forced to leave it on the shelf. Though with two cases, a kidnapping, a murder and theft. Somehow related by a trail of dark green slime. He wasn't sure he would be able to forget this case, something bizarre was happening and he was getting too old to deal with it.
It was another eighteen years before he was given any sort of hint towards that case. Detective Nolan was long past his prime, and was likely to retire soon enough. Grey had found its way into the corners of his hair, and his features were starting to sag from the stresses of dealing with criminals some twenty four years of his life.
It was another strange case, a break-in at a museum in Norfolk, Virginia. Again, seemingly totally unrelated to the case. Why is this relevant?
Because this time Arthur was involved.
He had been invited to the Museum just before the grand opening. It was a Museum of obscure oddities, a state funded Museum about the hidden history of the world. It was a cosmic level coincidence, the founder was an old friend of Arthur, and wanted him to be the first attendant.
The opening night was still five days away, and it was looking to be an immensely popular gathering. It was in every single paper, statewide and national. It was one of the biggest events announced in a long time.
Arthur was invited long before the opening by his friend, and was being shown around at about 12 o'clock midnight. Weird hour, yeah, but nobody's gonna question the curator of an oddities museum about being weird. Y'know?
During their tour, they went through numerous exhibits. Old simple machines that have features that predate the technological advances of that age. Ancient weapons with peculiarly pristine preservation. Among other things of similar caliber. Though one thing stood out among the rest. A totem, about one foot tall, five inches wide and long. It was a carving that seemed to writhe despite never actually moving. Recordings of the totem show no movement. It seems as though the strange carved patterns cause an optical illusion effect on human eyes.
At least that's what folks explained.
The official story behind it was that it was used to trick people into believing that the holder had some form of illusory magic. Though this is unconfirmed, as the totem predates modern prehistorical evidence.
As the pair were looking at the object and even passing it back and forth, they heard a crashing from the southern corridor. They put the totem back and called the police on the cordless, telling them of a break in. Detective Nolan had his gun strapped to his chest and armed himself, readied for the worst, and was suddenly plowed over by some monstrously large entity. It looked like a man but so much larger, and with skin as black as pitch and as leathery as the hide of an elephant. The curator was not so lucky as to not catch a glimpse of its face. It was perhaps merciful that he was so suddenly struck down by a swing of its arm, death releasing him from the horror he had witnessed.
Detective Nolan screamed in anger and panic before suddenly unloading his firearm into the backside of the behemoth. To little effect. The beast spun on its heel and the flat of its hand met the side of his face, then suddenly blackness.
When the Detective Awoke, he was in some sort of holding cell. Dimly lit by some phosphorescent light fixture, a smell of copper and ammonia washed over him as consciousness worked its way into his head. The smells that assaulted his nostrils were at least merciful in one regard, they concealed a much more demoniac stench that surely would have driven him mad if it were the first smell that met him when he awoke.
His cell was locked, but by a very poor device. A slide lock, and his arms were just thin enough to reach through. Though he popped his wrist out of socket just to unlock the door. It was perhaps not his wisest decision to delve deeper into the structure, instead of going higher towards escape. But some deep primeval curiosity drove him down, down and further down.
Depths like these were unnatural, he had climbed so far that he had begun to believe that he had descended at least the height of the Eiffel tower. For he felt that he had been climbing for hours. No sounds but a distant thrumming that felt as though a pressure were driving itself into his ears. The only smell was the gradually worsening copper/ammonia mixture. And he could see nothing but the dim phosphorescence of the strange light fixtures as he descended.
What felt like an entire day's journey came to its zenith upon his descent's conclusion, he was met with a massive amphitheater. Innumerable figures loomed just beyond the gateway he had entered through, some as large as the one who had assaulted him. Others far greater and more horrifying. Their faces indescribable, they lacked every natural sensory organ that most everything alive on Earth bears. Instead they had strange star shaped faces, ropey protrusions adorned with strange feathery growths. Two horn-like structures that split down the middle and seemed to gyrate rhythmically, it seemed like these were the source of the thrumming. As their mouths moved in unison the deep booming roar finally clicked as a vocal sound, it was chanting. Though it reverberated up the winding staircase as a distant thumping, it was actually some sort of ritualistic chant in an unknown and unspeakable tongue.
The scene assaulted his senses in such a way to near drive him to madness. All of this had happened suddenly, Three humans stood among the beings, and one was lying prostrate on the ground. It was a blond haired, blue eyed, pale skinned and thin bodied woman. Heavily pregnant and actively in labor. The detective looked to draw his gun, but found the he had been disarmed. Looking around, he tried his damnedest to find a suitable weapon, but he could only find a long metal pipe that looked like the remnants of whatever old water system used to be in place here before it was converted into whatever kind of hellish ritual chamber it is now.
As he grabbed the pike, the droning chanting stopped. Two human voices touched his ears. Though they were somehow more horrifying than any of the noises of the abominable horrors around him. First was the woman, whining and bellowing as her labor was painful and arduous. The second? A man. An old man whose voice was raspy and dry with decades of age prying at his throat. His words? "Ah, we have a guest." The three men turned towards Detective Nolan as his heart stuck in his throat. Horror above horror, he had been caught. He hadn't noticed the altar behind the three men and one woman.
Again his grating voice spoke. "We know of you, you saw the trails. And you saw one of our children." The elder waved his hand in gesture to the circus of horrors around them, this old man had referred to them as children. It was as though he were mocking the detective by even referring to them as anywhere near human. "And now you get to bear witness to the end of all things."
If his heart wasn't racing before, it was without a doubt at this moment beating faster than even the fastest of drummers could even dream.
"With the sacrifice of a child so pure, I shall be given infinite power. I shall destroy this world and build anew, in the image of our myriad gods." The old man raised his hands overhead and a strange luminescence erupted from his fingertips, a beam of light fell down upon where he stood and statues of indescribable horror loomed behind him. Now faintly illuminated by the pillar of light. "In a few moments, the child will be born. By the blood of the child born of pure souls, I will be granted power unattainable. For the gods have accepted me as one of their own!" He held aloft two statues, one he had seen before. The strange statue that had been in the museum, and another similar statue. Shaped more as a cube than the previous rectangular one. It was the source of the light, and seemed to be some sort of conduit.
What he was saying was madness, nobody was inherently pure. Even the Detective had his vices, how could someone give birth and yet be pure? He had to ask, though his throat felt so dry and ached painfully out of fear. He choked the words out breathlessly, but managed to get the question through. "How? How is this baby different from just a normal baby?"
The old man gave pause, the only sounds in the air during this haunting silence were the woman's birthing cries. "Because, Detective, the infants grew up alone. Away from all vices." It clicked. The theft, the kidnapping. It was all part of this, one of the three men standing there? Was one of the infants stolen eighteen years ago, and so was the woman lying on the floor in labor. The detective hadn't noticed the other two men holding one man's arms behind his back, nor did he notice his legs chained together and his mouth bound by rag and rope.
"You! You monster you forced them to breed!?" The old man only cackled at the detective, the mob of beasts seemed to join in on his laughter. With the whole audience of laughter echoing through the air, it was a wonder that the detective even heard the baby's first cries. It was swiftly grabbed by one of the men standing beside her, and brought to the altar where the old man stood.
The detective's feet felt like cement blocks, his arms ragged and his breathing stunted. But he moved. Time seemed to slow for him, the old man was handed the infant and with one swift motion, he struck it dead with the square statue. The beam of light suddenly grew brighter, but somehow Arthur was already up the stairs leading to the altar. The old man's face grew in horror as Arthur leaped into him, clubbing him with the Pipe and frantically grabbing for the infant.
The statues fell beside his feet, somehow landing perfectly upright. The beam of light shone down upon him and the baby died in his arms, its early death brought him to frantic tears. The detective fell to his knees with the infant held tight against his chest, when suddenly he was seized by what felt like an enormous unseen hand. He was raised upwards and his vision faded to blackness before being replaced with a cyclopian beast of unimaginable horror.
Arthur screamed and cried, his powerlessness was tangible. Behind the beast that held him aloft were countless other beings. All with ropes of light thrust towards the hand that grasped him. They spoke unintelligible babbling words through their mouths, seeming to deliberate among themselves. Though Arthur remembers none of this, his mind mercifully drifted him into madness for the time he was away from his own world. With a short time of nodding and babbling, they seemed to have come to a conclusion.
With a moment of absolute blindness and madness, the ropes of light flooded past the hand of the leviathan beast and down Arthur's throat. Flooding him with power unimaginable and nigh-infinite, blackness overtook him and he awoke shortly in the room where the ritual had taken place. His body felt youthful, more youthful than it ever had in his entire life, before he had time to take stock in his appearance, he was assaulted by the numerous abominable horrors that awaited him in the ritual chamber.
It was like a dream, suddenly he was strong enough to cast them aside like they were down pillows. They splattered here and there, their flesh surrendered to his strikes. Eventually, he had cut down every single one of them. Refusing to allow them to retreat, and eventually he felt tired. As though his power was waning, but he was still able to trade blows with the horrors. It was hours till he had finished them off, and found that he two other men had been trampled, with the woman and man still unharmed.
Arthur had killed the old man with his swing, and he felt no regret for what he had done, it might have saved the world as we know it. But what he did feel regret for, was not having found the kidnapped boy and girl sooner. Whatever horrors he had been chronicler to were now over, but they would be deeply scarred by this nightmare.
When he managed to get them to the surface, he was loathe to find out that he had become someone else. Someone who looked perfect in every regard. Though he was thankful that he was at least handsome, nobody would believe him if he said that he was the fifty three year old detective in a new body. On the nearest payphone, he called up the station and reported anonymously that he had found the two missing children from eighteen years ago. He told them to do blood-work on them to see the proof they needed.
The detective fell into a miasma of depression. He left behind his wife of twenty years, his family and friends, and even his job. Now broke, homeless, and under an entirely new identity. He was lost, without purpose.
Till, at least, he found a comic book on the sidewalk. Abandoned by some hapless child.
The rest of the story isn't important, you can imagine what happened after his discovery of the comic. Though he was forced to commit to some odd jobs to earn himself a living for a while. (And to afford his costume of choice.) He eventually became a career hero under the name Might.
With the events of the Pax Metahumana arc, Arthur has gotten his old identity once again. Allowing him to legally perform detective duties, rather than illegally.
Hero Type: Other/Equalization
Power Level: Cosmic Level
Powers: Constant: Perfect Senses: Imagine the acutest senses possible, far outstripping that or normal men. Eyesight to see accurately up to the curvature of the Earth, hearing to pick up a mouse's footfall from a full room away, strong enough nose to be able to pick up the smell of dried blood in the next room, and fingers delicate enough to manipulate a hair into a Windsor knot. Tastes are also intense for him, he's able to detect a single grain of salt in a dish that is said to be unsalted. This is less important, however.
The Right Hand of God: Might's right hand and forearm are completely and utterly indestructible, the flesh may part and the skin may crack but it will never yield or break. It is his only defense against weapons, bolts of energy, beams of heat, and a long list of dangerous abilities that would spell death for a man whose only real ability is physical equality. Might doesn't use weapons, since his physical ability is entirely variable. Whatever weapon he used would be in danger of breaking if he fought against a god-like being, or would risk being too heavy if he fought a normal human. So instead, his arm is simply a shield against offensive forces. It is capable of contacting any physical, metaphysical, quantum, etc concept or object. So long as he has the intent to strike, he will make contact with it.
Air Walking: Might cannot actually fly, instead, he can walk and run on the Air. The powers that were granted to Might were given to him with the ideal of perfect equality on the field of battle. To be able to walk on air gives him the ability to fight on the exact same level as those warriors who can fly. Air Walking is the only real advantage that he has over a normal human in an engagement of fisticuffs. On the other hand, flight is only useful if you're faster than a human being. Though he can catch himself in the air, preventing himself from dying from most fatal falls. So that's a plus. It has also given him an amazing proficiency at dive bombing people from the air.
Outside of Combat: Perfect Physical Ability: Might can yoke a train and pull it on its rails, lift an entire oak tree or run miles without tiring for a moment. With nobody to fight, he is simply a perfect human being. With abilities that are just beneath the limits of totally and wildly superhuman, he demonstrates an unnatural ease in every single task that he undertakes. He's capable of a majority of spectacular human feats. Horse riding, ballet, instrumental talent, etc.
Inside of Combat: (Dictated by a verbal Challenge or an outright assault on his person or the opponent's person.) Absolute Equalization: Might is known as Might for one reason, and one reason alone. There are none who are more mighty than Might. Because Might is exactly as strong as he needs to be. Don't misinterpret this. This isn't to say that he's stronger than everyone that he ever fights and that nobody even compares to him in physical ability. This is untrue. Might is exactly as physically able as the person or persons he is fighting.
Let us spin up four scenarios to explain how Might's Equalization works.
If Might were fighting Bruce Lee, Might would be exactly as fast and strong as Bruce. He would be able to fight him at the exact same strength and speed level. However, he does not duplicate his martial arts. Might is not able to equalize Martial Arts.
If Might were fighting Superman in Space, Might would be able to equally trade blows with Superman. Hold his breath indefinitely, run at the same speed that he could fly, and fight exactly as long as Superman. However, he could not duplicate his ability to fire lasers from his eyes or breathe ice breath. He cannot duplicate supernatural abilities.
If Might were fighting Jean Grey, Might would be exactly as strong and fast as she is. However, she would be able to assault him with her psychic ability and leave him completely helpless. He cannot emulate psychic ability.
Now for the fourth scenario and the most important.
If Might were fighting Sentry, Hyperion, Shazam, and Steel. Might would be exactly as fast and strong as the four of them combined. Able to fight the four of them on exactly equal footing. However, this is still a four on one fight. Might cannot multiply his body. As well, they all have abilities and equipment that give them advantages over him. If he were to defeat one of them, he would lose their strength and speed from his ability. As well, if he has an ally on his side, he loses the ally's strength and speed from his total strength and speed.
It is not a perfect ability, though it is good at what it does. And what does it do? It makes sure that every fight is fair.
Out of Combat Attributes:
Strength Level: 12 tons Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 40 mph speed/70 mph reaction Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Indefinite Agility: 5x Human Intelligence: Average Fighting Skill: Trained (Judo and Standard Firearms)
In Combat Attributes:
Strength Level: Contextually Varies Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Contextually Varies Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Contextually Varies Agility: Contextually Varies Intelligence: Average Fighting Skill: Trained (Judo and Firearms)
Resources: Minimal Standard Police Firearm, Left Hand Guard, casual wear, and The Might Costume. Weaknesses: Though Might is technically among the most powerful entities possible, simply due to his ability to match the physical ability of the person or people he is fighting, he has one massive disadvantage. Might is not invincible, nor can he duplicate non-physical ability. This leaves him at a tremendous disadvantage against people who rely solely on their martial skill, magical ability, and even technological advances. What seems like a totally unassailable ability is easily torn down once one steps back and objectively looks at his set of abilities. With his right hand, he only slightly offsets the disadvantage of range and power by having a tool to prevent himself from dying. Other than that, he can't cope with unusually adverse abilities. If he fights a normal human being, he actually grows weaker than his usual base ability. Even with The Right Hand of God, he is not immune to certain effects such as Electrical Manipulation and pain, so too does it have the disadvantage of being on his right side. Attacks from the left hand side of his body cannot be blocked as easily as forward or right facing assaults.
Supporting Characters: Jiang Chao - The Owner of the Laundromat that Might works at. Father of Yong and Husband to Min. Getting along in years, but still a hard worker. He's a Chinese immigrant who started from nothing and now runs his own business. It's decently successful, though only recently has it started actually gaining any substantial profit since Might joined on. Calls Might Golden-Boy.
Min Chao - The wife of Jiang, she's a sweet woman who Jiang worked hard to bring to America. She remained faithful to him, though she had a very hard time living while he was away. China wasn't particularly easy to get by in without a husband to support her and their child. Calls Might Strongman.
Yong Chao - The young son of Jiang and Min. Rather estranged to his father, since he was away for sixteen years of his life. He isn't lazy, but he isn't a particularly hard worker. It's to spite his father for being away so long, Yong was forced to find a job at the age of twelve to help his mother. Since he came to America he has become engrossed in American culture. Honestly hates Might, is the only person who calls him Arthur.
Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?:
Sample Post: From the streets of Manhattan island, Might was an idle watcher of news-stories and captor of criminals. There wasn't a terrible amount of crime fighting that he could do, despite his fantastic ability, he's unable to get to and from crime scenes as fast as say. The Flash. It's one of the major drawbacks of being an equalizer, something that he has to deal with. Though he does have the height advantage, being able to walk on the air gives him a couple heads up. Especially when it comes to fleeing purse snatchers, so being a Street Level Hero is right up his alley normally. Especially since he can catch and subdue any normal human before even initiating combat, so that's nice.
Honestly, the past few months have been stressful. The news hasn't been very good as of late, especially with the Demon invasion and the current coverage of the crazy scientist who decided that the world needs to evolve. "It's lunacy, y'know? Not long ago I was a perfectly sane human being, and now the world went to hell and back. Almost literally. Might spoke somberly to the universe itself, since he didn't really have anyone of import to actually speak with. It had been far too long since that fateful day, though he knew all of these crazy events weren't interconnected, he always felt bad for even having powers. He felt as though it were his fault, as if some sort of chain reaction started with him.
Crazy, he knows, but a guilt complex is a guilt complex.
The man sighed and resigned to sitting up against the wall of the building he was floating next to. The air is actually a very comfortable seat, fun fact. He spoke to himself back and forth, trying to rationalize all of the craziness of the past stretch of time. "I couldn't help but wonder what sort of wild world we live in. Little Ulster's renovation. Followed by that damnable invasion of-" Might paused for a moment, frowning slightly at the wording. "Followed by that damnable invasion of the damned." He felt as though it were redundant and unnecessary, sometimes redundancy is necessary. It is not necessary when you're carrying on a conversation with yourself.
Again he sighed, knocking his head against the wall lightly to give himself a little jarring. Help wake him up a bit from his funk. "What if I joined up with another hero somewhere, y'know? Maybe I could be useful for once, instead of sitting in Manhattan and being worthless while the other heroes go out and save the world from cosmic horrors and demons." There really was no way he'd be able to fight cosmic horrors alone, you see, and even he accepts that. Just because there isn't anyone who can out-punch him, doesn't mean everyone can be beaten by punching.
Whatever persona he may put on in the public eye, Nolan knows exactly the limits of his ability. Even now, with the ability to trade punches with the Gods themselves, he couldn't even survive a rifle round outside of combat. And you don't get to issue a challenge to someone a mile away, that's just not how it works. Might needs help, and he knows that he can prove to be helpful as well. All he needs is someone to give him a chance.
Alias: The Ambassador of the Fair Folk, The Faerie Mistress, The Ambassador
Speech Color: Thistle
Character Alignment: Chaotic neutral - Villain
Identity: Known
Character Personality: A rather reserved figure with a prankster’s sense of humour, years spent amongst the Fey have rubbed off on her in more ways than one. A well-placed bucket of water or spicy food will have her collapsed in a fit of giggles. Unassuming in her appearance, Odette often takes advantage of her foes immediate underestimation. When all pretences are dropped she has a rather condescending attitude. Can come off rather patronizing without being aware of it.
With few human friends, often kept up for appearances or networking with other ballet dancers. She shows them a front of a thoughtful and caring woman with great tastes in fashion, food and trendsetting. She has a decent twitter following. The only exception to that is Kendra Umbra, a close friend and colleague.
Her real name and other personal information are known publicly to humans, but her work as the Ambassador are entirely secret. To the Fey, names can result in power in their realms. As soon as she crosses the border she refers to herself only as The Ambassador. She makes use of illusion spells, usually casting fogs or charms that make her appearance or face easily forgettable to any curious eyes. During a fight or operation she is methodical, akin to a hungry spider patiently waiting for her prey to step into well placed traps. Weak when she takes to the offensive, but a force to be reckoned with.
Her focus and sheer strength of will makes her an excellent spell caster, unshakable in her confidence. A sharp memory, she has memorized her favourite spells and personal incantations. At home her shelves are filled with a few grimoires she has personally written and other reference tomes she has purchased. Rounding out her knowledge outside of Faerie magic. With a few exceptions, she keeps her main grimoire on hand for more complicated spells or spells she doesn't use that often to warrant memorization. A copy of it remains hidden and safe, her secrets and knowledge safeguarded. On her person she keeps her smartphone with a few notes and minor spells, and a smaller notebook. Avidly prepared no matter where she goes.
She lacks considerable amounts of empathy for her fellow human being, often has to remind herself to react appropriately. However she cares deeply for her connection to the Fey. Personally takes their affairs and feelings seriously. Well versed in rules, lore and expectations of the Fey she is polite to a fault. Manners matter, easily repulsed by crude behaviour or language.
Uniform/costume: Age: 27 Height: 5'9 Weight: 145 lbs (dense muscle mass) Hair: Short messy bob, coloured light blue (Preference and protection against Dark Fey) Eye: Light Blue
Round face, smooth skin, no visible scars. Doll-like, with a body of a well built ballet dancer and the muscle to match. One very large notable tattoo is on her back.
It's imbued with a charm to protect her against hostile Fey, the only Fey allowed to touch her or bond with her is Bach. Even without strict consent Bach cannot force himself upon her in any capacity, the same can be said for Bach as well. Odette can't force access to his magical reserves without his permission. The pact allows access and this relationship to exist, it however has no power over free will.
When going about her day-to-day business she dresses in a mint green dress with a white blazer. Usually a pair of flats or ankle boots depending on the season. She lives in a fashion capital of the world and owns a closet to match it.
Background: Born in Paris, France to occult scientists, Perry and Tristan Favre. They had intense curiosity in the planes of existence unique to the fair folk. Discovering a naturally occurring entrance into the Faerie Realms they made frequent trips to these realms to collect as much information, data samples, research material to have a better understanding of them. Unfortunately for them a curious Fey spirit followed them back.
His name is Bach. He took a liking to their young 4-year-old daughter all too quick. The first time she became aware of the fey spirit haunting her was seeing him in the autumn; in the Yew leaves falling she caught a pair of eyes watching her. Paying attention and often seeing him out the corner of her eyes they began to interact. In her dreams he would whisper stories of the fair folk. Her parents unaware of the Fey spirit following Odette, her childhood carried on without pause.
Enrolled in a dance academy for ballet at the age of 8 her heart and career sprouted from those dance classes. As she grew older her dancing had helped her into scholarships while her friendship with Bach grew deeper with every passing year. At the age of 18 she was graduating high school with a promising education at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Dance de Paris. At the University she met her friend Kendra Umbra. Rivalry at first sparked their passion and competition, pushing each other to do better in every class for top grades. A friendship bloomed from that point on they became inseparable, it didn't bother Odette in the slightest to lie to Kendra. Quietly she hoped it would protect her from the dangerous world of the Fey. They graduated at 21 with their degrees in Performance Art top of their classes. Their applications for Paris Opera Ballet went together and were accepted together.
Bach often lamented only seeing the world over her shoulder. After years of being shown the world of magic her innate curiosity drew her to ask how she could get magic for herself.
A question he wished and hoped for since he began haunting Odette, an opportunity to create a pact with her. She could have access to his magic, catch the eyes of the directors in exchange help him open doorways for the fair folk. She could take him travelling across the world see more of it while opening the way for more fair folk to come to Earth. Agreeing without thinking too deeply on the consequences she trusted Bach entirely knowing he would steer her right. Bach tethered their souls together.
Releasing Odette’s dormant magic, Bach taught her everything he knew. Bach being a scholar and educator at his very core he taught her earth elemental manipulation to using the bleeding effect of the Arcane Stream to her advantage. For years she practiced her magic, focusing on Words of Power and choreographed dance to invoke magic and ethereal charms. Despite her obligation to helping the Fey onto Earth, she did so happily. She travelled in and out of the faerie realms. Garnering favours, gifts and allegiances with the fair folk.
The more time she spent among the Fey her humanity and empathy withered away, no longer bothered by the destruction the fair folk left in their wake. Often trading good favours with dark Fey spirits in exchange for souls and light of the recently deceased. Good, neutral and evil Fey flocked to her for safe passage into Earth’s realms.
Years passed with Odette’s help chaos was strewn across Paris, Fey had full run of the city with her help. With the amount of chaos she created it caught the eyes of the ever reaching and influential American gang, The Shroud Syndicate. At the age of 25 local agents approached her offering guidance and opportunities to use her abilities. Agreeing to work for them, she saw the boon in earning extra money while opening opportunities with the criminal underworld for the Fey. Setting a price for her work, she was set primarily on moving of people and goods. Casting a long mysterious shadow, one of the Syndicate’s connections to the world of mysticism and magic. Her criminal actions were nearly impossible to track, her illusionary magic and magical transportation were well outside of Parisian authorities reach. Due largely to her efforts was The Shroud Syndicate able to take decent root in France at the heart of Paris.
In spite of her success in crime she never truly had ambition to climb the ladder. She was content remaining with Paris firmly under her heel, answering to the likes of the mysterious Cowl.
Though seeing little fighting or opposition she sought out to learn self-defence. All her magic would be worthless against a well-placed sucker punch. Learning how to fight wasn't entirely difficult; she was a disciplined dancer and well built for strength. Self-defence was a skill she picked up quickly and practices on a routine basis.
Stretched three different ways made life difficult to juggle, Bach was the first to suggest getting a household fey. It broke Odette's heart to trick Vienna, the plucky household spirit into serving her household. Vienna absolutely despised being tricked but after some time spent with Odette she warmed to her. Odette made sure Vienna was comfortable and secure while she served her household.
Still juggling work, crime and the Fey Odette has a full plate of responsibilities. Busy days and evenings keep her occupied but something primal pulls and tugs at the back of her mind. She was in dire need of a new project.
Hero Type: Mystic/Acrobat
Power Level: City Level – Influence and Power World Level (depending on her work with the leylines)
Powers:
Opening Rifts/Door Ways– Traversing Fey Realms ->Adept to finding cracks and bleeding spots along Earth's leylines. Using them to open rifts to create a doorway. Typically opening doors to Faerie Realms, places on Earth, or entrances directly to the Arcane Stream. Odette is well practiced in opening doors through the Arcane Stream. Able to open several portals (Up to 6) in an area close to a Leyline, the further away the less she is able to open. The doors she uses for portals are built directly from the Arcane Stream, very difficult to break down unless another mage or witch knew how to create portals from the Arcane Stream as well. Otherwise the portal remains until Odette wills it away. The portals are akin to stepping in and out of a river. With the endurance and years of precise skill practice, opening portals do not take serious amounts of energy. Though absolute concentration is a must.
Spell Casting -> Has an impressive repertoire of spells memorized. She uses Words of Power to give her spells intention and power. Until they are spoken they have no power. Locator spells, levitation spells, illusion spells, minor healing spells, luck sapping hexes, magical ward and trap spells.
Fundamental-Elemental Manipulation -> Basic manipulation of the magical elements. Earth, Air, Water and Fire. Learned each skill through elemental sprite masters. Bach however taught her Earth and it is her preferred magical element to use.
Elemental magic takes a lot of concentration and power, due largely to her skill level. i.e if she whips up a storm it'll take a full day of rest to be back to normal. While possessed by Bach she has mastery over Earth elemental magic. Able to grow trees from seeds, at full power possible to rattle tectonic plates.
Item Enchantment -> Able to enchant items with magical purpose, even enchanting certain parts of her own body. Small time stuff barely registers as a use of energy. Bigger objects and intentions take more energy.
Summoning Fey -> Drawing sigils and calling upon the Fey by name. She will strictly only call upon Fey she has met personally for help. While the sigil is only a form of communication, it is no feat to Odette to transport them to her location for direct help.
Multilingual -> Fluent in French (native), English and Common Fey. Bach however translates and speaks many more Fey languages for Odette.
Attributes:
Strength Level: Athletic (disciplined ballet dancer) when possessed by Bach, 30. Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal human when possessed by Bach, 40 Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Trained dancer, above average for human, when possessed by Bach 3 hours. Agility: Normal human, possessed by Bach x5. Intelligence: Above average. Well-Developed instincts for when someone is lying or have bad intentions. Skills she picked up with years of dealing with the Fey, tricky and untrustworthy by nature. Fighting Skill: Trained. Self-defence.
Resources: High, lives well based off her income as a successful ballet dancer and the profit she makes from her work with the Shroud.
-> Small Apartment building in the heart of Paris. Her home on Earth, well fortified by magical wards. Protected by a household Fey, Vienna. Invisible to humans but magically linked with the home. Able to reject and turn away unwanted intruders, guests or enemies. Answers only to the building owner, Odette.
-> A Yew Tree in the Faerie Realms belonging to Bach. A home and sanctuary, protected by similar wards. It is a home base for the pair of them and they share equally in its ownership. Equipped with creature comforts and absolute safety from local Fey as well.
-> Permanent Portal: Paris. It is a permanent portal Odette strictly controls. Months of work from both Odette and faerie alike, resulted in a portal permanently stationed on the edge of Paris. It is incredibly difficult to dismantle even by a mage who know how to create them. It is infused with a variety of magics, protected by the most powerful wards, cloaked by illusion spells to trick even the most powerful magical creatures.
-> Library of Grimoires, magickal knowledge collected from all areas of the Faerie Realms stored safely in her apartment.
-> Countless favours, alliances, factions of Fey she is connected to. Easily accessible to draw on for help, advice, knowledge and power.
Weaknesses:
Magic Limitations: Her magic is limited to how well rested she is and her calorie count for the day. Even while possessed it takes a full day worth of rest. Pushing past those limitations can result in immediate shock, fainting, bloody noses, worst case scenario coma or spontaneous combustion depending on the energy output.
Possession: When possessed by Bach she has typical Fey weaknesses to iron, for Bach being an Earth Fey he has an aversion to fire. While Bach can be fatally poisoned by Iron on his own, possessed Odette does hold some human resilience against it. If not treated in a timely manner it can permanently harm both of them.
Human Constraints: Human as can be as much as she tries to trick her enemies. Sickness, injury, bullet holes, exhaustion, exposure. She is a powerful sorceress but she is still very human.
Polite to a Fault: Unlike Fey she is not bound to correct mannerisms and precise speech. Though she respects those same guidelines and lives by them. Any foe smart enough to use them against her can and will be successful. i.e no harm can befall a guest in her home, gifts of virtue or boons must be well received then repaid in kind no exceptions, handshakes are binding, etc...
The Yew Tree: Different from the tree they call home, this Yew Tree is planted to solidify their soul pact. It not only symbolizes their pact but acts as a construct of the permanent portal from Paris to the Faerie Realms. They have shrouded it with every protection spell they know as well as safeguards against natural disaster. It’s duel importance is a well kept secret while it functions as permanent portal.

She relies on him and his spies heavily in collecting information.

Ghostly pale hair, grey oily skin that rarely sees the sun, eyes dark as pitch. Princess Lassantra is a close ally and among the first successful allegiances The Ambassador forged in her early years. Upon the behest of the Earth Fey to renegotiate peace treaties with another water fey family that usurped Lassantra's family, the usurpers attempted to kill the messenger. Lassantra rescued The Ambassador, harbouring her safely while Lassantra's family plotted to retake their seat of power. Odette and Lassantra became close, solidified the allegiance by helping her family back to their power. Many years later, the water fey remain among the best equipped to magically communicate with the spirits and steal glimpses into the future.
Rhys Fire Elemental - The Jester - The Man Who was Consumed by Fire ~Oblivion and Peace~
Extravagantly dressed, brightly painted red star over his right eye, red painted lips and striking image of a jester. Excessive, flighty and unyielding. Once long ago, Rhys was a human that stumbled into the midst of the Fey. His heart was consumed by a fire elemental, when the elemental had expected his host to burn Rhys survived the onslaught of magic. Coming out of the ordeal as neither Human nor Faerie. Unabiding to the same laws Faerie follow, Fire Fey were forced to reign the likes of him in. They contacted The Ambassador for her help. In exchange The Ambassador was able to leverage for nearly limitless favours. Occasional parties on Earth, shallow favours and a little entertainment keep Rhys in check. For now.
Chic, steely grey eyes, and lithe. Well liked, and incredibly talented ballet soloist. Supportive but always one to take Odette down a couple pegs. Vigilant reminder to Odette she is human. They've been friends since the first days of University and stuck together through to their employment at The Paris Opera Ballet. Considered partners in crime and inseparable. Unaware of her connections to the Fey and crime.
Perry - Perenelle Favre Human - Mother - Occult Scientist (Field Researcher)
Mousey brown hair, crows feet around her green eyes, and terrible posture. A brilliant field researcher, bold and fearless. Huge fan of mom-jokes and facebook memes. Worries of her daughter slipping further away from them and her humanity. Aware of connections to Fey and unaware of crime.
Tristan Favre Human - Father - Occult Scientist (Chemist)
Dark brown hair, brilliant blue eyes, and a large nose. Happily optimistic and steely focus. His work starts and ends in the lab, though happy to follow behind his wife into the field. Holds Odette's decisions with the Fey to be rather irresponsible while quietly asking for more samples on her trips through the realms.
Equipment
Grimoire Tome, tree symbol of protection against magical tampering. Her most important tome of reference.
Enchanted purse to hold whatever she needs, perfect for travelling. (Mary Poppins level of holding)
Enchanted her feet, activated by the click of her heels. Applicable to whatever footwear she uses.

Summaries
The Ambassador first made her entrance into CAH’S Season 1 near the tail end, joining Fallenreaper's Natural Selection Arc - an arc focusing on conspiring to kidnap Racheli Desdemona into The Shroud Syndicate’s hands, the international crime organization hoping to gain a better understanding of her strange black blood and it’s applications of making metahuman soldiers. The Ambassador played a large role with a generous helping hand from the newly employed fellow Syndicate member, Silence - Lekh Antol.
Silence discreetly infiltrated Lost Haven’s CDC swiping Racheli’s unconscious form out from under their noses bringing her to a seemingly safe and inconspicuous location to trade her off into the hands of The Ambassador, whom was waiting with a portal to quickly transport her to The Syndicate’s hands at Lost Haven’s local Ironworks facility.
Unlikely heroes and persons of interest looking to disrupt that trade off, targeted this hand off location - an underpass outside of Lost Haven. The White Witch’s friend and fellow witch Joseph was first drawn to the kidnapping by the influx of magic in the area, Racheli’s allies Icarus and Hydro followed suspicions on the compromised moving of patients.
The Ambassador and Silence were initially distracted trying to reign in disorientated Racheli while the heroes dodged past traps and wards set by The Ambassador. The pair of criminals fought on all three fronts with the terrifying help of The Ambassador’s ally - The Archon of the Old Earth. The Archon was defeated by Joseph with the help of a ring made of iron, poisoning the beastly faerie. Shortly thereafter Joseph found himself in one of her traps to be rescued by the late arrival of White Witch.
While Silence subdued Racheli and Hydro with his powerful aura.
The Ambassador and Silence escaped through a portal, chased by White Witch’s mysterious spiritual fire and Joseph’s magical efforts. They found safety in the Faerie Realms with a newly knocked out Racheli in tow.
There The Ambassador took over Racheli’s care, parting Silence with a mysterious gift in thanks for his help in securing the kidnapping. He walked through a portal back to wherever he found himself and The Ambassador brought Racheli through to Ironworks.
There in the interim, the heroes regrouped with Joseph while White Witch left to return to the fight with Doctor Diplodoc. They recruited the help of green thumb hero, Evergreen. Icarus, Evergreen and Joseph stormed Ironworks with their fantastic powers fighting for Racheli and turn the tide at the final hand off.
Meanwhile The Ambassador struggled to reign a no longer cripplingly weakened Racheli. In an escape attempt The Ambassador reeled her in - in time for The Cowl’s personal arrival. He locked her into a metahuman proofed cage and kept her hot in the frying pan unable to regain her powers as extreme heat was and remains one of her greatest weaknesses. The Ambassador took on Joseph personally, leading her away from Racheli to the warehouses. Joseph summoned a terrible familiar to fight for him. The Ambassador used faerie helpers to snatch the object binding Joseph’s beast to their realm and destroyed it. Joseph’s summoned spirit, unshackled, turned on it’s summoner and killed him. With his death the summon disappeared.
The Ambassador turned her sights next on the arrival of Icarus. Attempting to trick and dismantle his suit, he unleashed his experimental functions. The Ambassador formed with her faerie pact partner, Bach to dredge up more magic to stand a chance - having exhausted her reserves for the already active day they had.
They fought and using iron based weapons, Icarus was able to beat back The Ambassador into fleeing the scene. Icarus scooped up Racheli in the chaos escaping with her safely. Leaving the Cowl empty handed with his facilities destroyed.
Signaling the end of Season 1, The Shroud Syndicate and The Ambassador slipped back into the shadows.
Season 2 began a few short months later, The Ambassador was actively looking for Racheli’s location - begrudging her failure to seal the deal. In a flashback of the night at Ironworks - Puck the owner of the Red Devil and contract keeper of Joseph Mathers approached the wounded Faerie Mistress. He bitterly commended her for defeating his longtime friend and offered a gift as a reward. Cautiously accepting, he gave The Ambassador a prophecy detailing her rise and fall. Struck with unease for months, it inspired fear and motivation to uncover the mysterious meanings in Puck’s foresight.
"Very well . . . You, my dear, are as the Earth, a powerful force, one of beauty, strength, and resolve. You are forever changing, forever overcoming obstacles, forever evolving. And when the elements, the very forces of nature over whom you have unbridled authority, conspire against you, you adapt in amazing ways. When your womb is scorched and dried, you do not become infertile; when your wells run dry, you release the gates of heaven and bring down her floods; when your limbs are scattered by the winds, they grow anew and become mountains tall. You will always adapt, always overcome your creation . . . but when a mother hurts her child, she may never regain their trust. And you, even as the Earth, can be hurt by her children in the most creative ways."
"But do not be fooled, your children are not the only ones who reside in your domain. Their stands upon your plains a being ancient, much like yourself, who comes in the guise of a friend. She is a fire that burns brighter than your own hearth, one that can level forests and leave nothing in their wake, and she is angry. Her spirit burns even now, but once she reaches her potential, once she devours the flame of humanity, she will be unstoppable. And the question isn't whether you will be burned, but if you shall reemerge from the ashes."

While her investigations carried on in the background Odette travelled to New York with the ballet company. Needing to rely on more than her faerie help, she reconnected with Silence hiring him to dig for more information on Racheli, in return she would answer any questions he had for her.
During her time in New York, the White Witch reached out to the likes of The Broker searching for clues on the spiritual connection to her past self. In exchange for information, White Witch bound hundreds of souls of the dead into a soul stone. The Soul Stone became the first of few items of Solomon’s Cube, a powerful necromantic tool The Broker was bent on gathering. The creation of the soul stone affected all characters with magical sensitivity currently in New York at that time.
He later approached The Ambassador for her help in finding another piece of Solomon’s Cube, in exchange for a Big Favour. Pointing her sights upon Queen Titania in England. The Faerie Queen of the Summer Courts was consolidating her power after the terrible blow her court suffered at the hands of Hell a couple centuries ago.
While The Ambassador was visiting in New York she happened across the mercury golem, the Indomitable Enforcer of the Divine Mandate. Approaching the strange sight of an 8ft golem in the middle of Central Park, Odette was initially curious of the construct, approaching Mandate directly. Able to capture Mandate’s attention positively and hold a conversation, Odette enticed Mandate into joining her in the relative safety of Paris. Odette introduced Mandate to a reliable little goblin named Mara, hiring her to keep the golem company and out of trouble while Odette finished her trip in New York. Mandate showed unprecedented intelligence with speech, self-awareness and ultimately strength in resisting magic. Their afternoon spent in Paris came to a close but Odette successfully planted the seeds of friendship and held Mandate’s fickle interest. Odette quickly crafted a disguise for Mandate, hiding her true appearance by way of illusion.
In her spare time, she met with the ever-paranoid criminal - Silence, in person. Sealing a deal over coffee. Tension began to brew between the two with the unasked question of a Soul Mark left on Silence, the mysterious gift in the form of an emergency direct line to The Ambassador. It’s true properties a secret to Lekh Antol. The deal guaranteed an exchange of information once the job was complete. During the job, the opportunity to release the metahuman serial killer Michael Garth from a government controlled facility came up, on Odette’s order Silence broke in and pointed Michael Garth to Lost Haven and his daughter. Odette sent a ‘courier’ in the form of a goblin to pick up the reports from Silence, the goblin teleported directly to Silence. The capricious nature of the faerie help revealed Odette knowing his precise location without any other indication.
When Odette returned to Paris reuniting with Mandate, Racheli’s whereabouts broke local news with a large fight between metahumans Equilibrium, War-Pulse, Evergreen, and Racheli herself. The Cowl, behind scenes, making his own play at recapturing her. While she waited on news of the job from Silence, The Ambassador turned her focus on unravelling the meaning behind Puck’s Prophecy.
She travelled to the underwater world of Ville d’Ys with Mandate acting - under a mutual agreement - as Odette’s dedicated bodyguard. Meeting with longtime ally, Princess Lassantra. Meaning to divine connections and clues of the White Witch, after reasonable deliberation examining the contents of the prophecy. The spectral burn from White Witch still quite fresh in their memories. She followed a hunch.
Lassantra's Oracle revealed to Odette the nine items containing pieces of Gwyneth Owen’s soul and her connection to White Witch. Coming to the conclusion that once Gwyneth Owens came to power once again, she would surely meet her end at the witch’s hands. Divining the names of all the items; Gwyneth’s Eye, Sight, Might, Right Hand, Left Hand, Womb, Mind, Breath, and Heart and the location of Sight and Eye. The Ambassador was armed and ready to hop on the witch’s trail. Determining to gain leverage against the White Witch by scooping up Sight.
The meeting proved to be successful but not without tension created by the Princess, alluding and attempting to pry into The Ambassador’s personal life in which the Princess lamented being coldly excluded from. Perceived as a power play, The Ambassador pushed back against her faerie ally. Mandate used her brute strength to intimidate the watery fey into submission. It proved The Ambassador could trust Mandate’s judgement.
Together they moved onto England to meet with Queen Titania, bitter and barbed words were exchanged. Titania unable to hide her resentment toward mortals and The Ambassador’s recent treating with a Prince of Hell. While The Ambassador found success in rooting out the whereabouts of the next piece of Solomon’s Cube it was not without hidden costs. The barrier protecting Stonehenge and the ancient bit of technology buried there was a pocket of power Queen Titania happily tapped into returning to her glorious status. Titania visited a prophecy of her own upon The Ambassador, much to her growing distaste of prophetic vagues and unclear glimpses into the future.
“When the foundation shakes. When the world breaks, when the scream catches in your throat, and the demon rises. When smoke chokes the living, and the sky boils. When thorns turn to blades, when one realm become many, and many realms become but one. When you hold silence in your hand, kill it and scream your anguish for the world to hear. This is the promise you make to me, and all of faerie. When it becomes all-encompassing when nothing can breathe underneath it. You must end the Silence."
-Hellis
Once Stonehenge was released under the cover of night, a great Stone Guardian controlled by Herne the Hunter came to protect Stonehenge from the intruders. Mandate faced the stone guardian - protecting The Ambassador. The Ambassador formed with Bach to dig deep into the center of Stonehenge. She disappeared underground retrieving the piece of Solomon’s Cube. They tried their best to return Stonehenge to its original form after the destructive fight, but those well versed in magic would know of the disturbance there.
Returning to Paris to rest, Odette reviewed the notes delivered while she was away. Vienna told Odette of the goblin not collecting incentive (an extra loaf of fresh bread) to do the couriering job correctly. The Ambassador knew the goblin showed Odette’s hand to Silence. They met again in person for payment in a hotel room. After skirting the inevitable question Odette revealed the true properties of the Soul Mark she left on Lekh, namely, it’s passive side effect of knowing his exact location without his consent. Angry he lashed out at her forcing her to sever the connection but not before demonstrating what it could do. The Ambassador dived into the psychic storm that Silence held within him before cutting the Soul Mark away.
He demanded if they were to continue working together it would need to be on equal ground. Reluctantly agreeing he asked one more question looking to find some magical healing items. She revealed that Barron in Las Vegas held a considerably large store of magical artifacts, no doubt having some healing items Lekh was interested in finding. She warned him of Barron’s vampiric gang presence and how it directly opposed The Shroud Syndicate. They agreed with The Ambassador’s help to raid Barron’s warehouse while striking back on behalf of The Shroud Syndicate.
Las Vegas was also where The Ambassador would find Gwyneth’s Sight.
Silence, Mandate and The Ambassador attacked Barron’s gangsters in Lost Haven’s borders. They were able to collect information on which warehouses in Las Vegas belonged to the Barron. The Ambassador and Mandate put up a brutal fight, Silence interrogated the gangsters mercifully killing them. Ultimately sending a message. The violence on par with the raging gang wars erupting across Lost Haven.
They travelled separately to Las Vegas, meeting up there to move forward with the Heist. They attacked a warehouse, Mandate acting as a major distraction. Both Silence and The Ambassador were met with Barron’s defences in a mixture of metahumans, vampires and a golemancer. The Ambassador suffered some injuries at the hands of the golems and a vampire. Silence took a bullet to the gut. The Ambassador sent Bach ahead to find what they were there for while she sought Silence out. She found him and with some sorcery removed the bullet, patching him up with first aid. Odette was reaching her magical limits for the final stretch of the Heist. Together they met with Bach stealing Unicorn horns, Golden Fleece and Dragon’s Teeth. Having ingredients to make a cure-all potion. Silence still quite cagey about why he needed powerful healing potion.
After dealing with Mandate’s assailants they escaped with their stolen items leaving the warehouse in complete disarray.
Silence returned to Lost Haven with the promise Odette would provide the completed potion. She rested and healed in a Shroud Syndicate safehouse overnight.
Barron reeled from the Heist, tapping his ally - the Witch-Mother Hekate to investigate the warehouses. She came to have a strange item in their inventory local fey reported to Hekate of The Ambassador’s presence in the city. The residual faerie magic in the warehouse turned Hekate onto the sorceress.
In a post time-stamped in the IC future, they met at the docks on the morning of Silence’s departure back home to Poland. Odette presented the completed potion to Silence where he revealed the potion was for his younger sister, revealing that his power was hereditary. For his younger sister, the Antol’s aura turned inward instead of outward, crippling her mind. During his time in Lost Haven, he stole significant amounts of money from The Shroud Syndicate to fund medicinal research, with no results. Forcing the practical criminal to turn to miracles. The only hope they held for the potion working was some brief testing prior to delivery. When the pass off was completed Lekh went onto confessing he had feelings for Odette, surprising the sorceress. In an emotional wave, she kissed Lekh neither confirming or denying her own feelings saying goodbye.
Back in Las Vegas, The Ambassador was back refocusing her efforts into finding Gwyneth’s Sight. Mandate and The Ambassador searched all over the city, location spells failing multiple times. It was not until arriving at Hoover Dam was Odette spirited away by Hekate herself along with her friend Medea.
Hekate put her on the spot accusing her of being responsible for the warehouse mess, not taking it in stride if it was an attack levelled to threaten the likes of her and Barron. Clarifying it was a one time deal, The Ambassador stressed she was not targeting Barron directly just his stuff. Reaffirming there was no bad blood between the fey and witches. Accepting her apology Hekate gave The Ambassador the mysterious gift that found its way into their inventory. Promising it would give her insight. To Odette’s delight, Hekate handed her Gwyneth’s Sight.
While The Ambassador was working in Las Vegas, Marie the White Witch was gathering her own resources to come to Las Vegas towing the magic nosed werewolf Benjamin Reeves and his pack members. His pack members and close friends included the twin werewolves Ji and Yeong, Katarina the vampire and joined to help twin metahuman giants The Dover Twins Ben and Freya, and the drunken sorcerer Rune.
The Ambassador and Mandate arrived back to their hotel in time to see the evening breaking news. The Hounds of Humanity made their move. Particularly on an establishment in Vegas, Pixy Stix. The Ambassador rushed to the destructive scene, enraged by the attack. The city was not hers but on that night she appeared before the distraught fae and promptly struck a hatchet in the post. Publically to the magical community making her presence known. Elsewhere, sacred grounds, covens of witches, and other public establishments catering to metahumans and magic alike were burned and the earth salted. One such place was the border crossing of Earth and Alfheim. The tree connecting both realms was bombed to oblivion. Enraging the King Neuvean Winterborn, declaring war against mortals of Midgard, meaning to mobilize an army but not without the means to cross into Midgard to stage his war. His focus fell on the The Ambassador.
Upon returning to the hotel, The Ambassador began to study and attempt to open the little trunk that was Gwyneth’s Sight. While Racheli’s goings on were on the backburner, The Ambassador was inspired by the recent string of success she found in diversifying her allies. She wanted a hard counter to Racheli’s growing abilities in manipulating metals, knowing full well what her weakness was. Odette reached out to her contact in the Syndicate, Jacque, to find a suitable mercenary metahuman she could hire. Jacque on her behalf reached out to the up and coming fire metahuman, Forge planning a meeting.
The Ambassador worked to unravel the wards protecting Gwyneth’s Sight, when she successfully did so the soul of the old witch pulled Odette’s mind into the item. There she met Gwyneth Owens, surrounded in an expansive illusionary world that captured The Ambassador’s imagination. Outside in the waking world, Bach’s temper flared snapping at Mandate, they were until then on uncertain terms of tolerance but Mandate focused her ire and worry on Odette.
Gwyneth approached, initially hostile. They spoke, amicably finding common ground by name dropping Hekate. The Ambassador was able to convince the isolated witch to sitting down to negotiations. The Ambassador offered Gwyneth a glimpse of the new world by providing some news, answering questions, etc. Carefully treading how Odette came to know of White Witch and Gwyneth. She invited the Ambassador inside her cottage where she went into detail regarding her life. Helping Odette understand her deep distrust of mortals and the betrayals she suffered 600 years ago. How her items worked and wanting to return to her former power. Even throwing in some interesting facts about the Witch-Father Bucca and Puck are brothers being apart of the five Pwca. They negotiated a contract of mutual peace, neither would bring harm to the other nor their interests. The contract guaranteed no betrayal could occur. It also solidified a deal for an alliance to start by helping Gwyneth’s incarnation find the remaining items. With a little side of challenge, giving Odette permission to hold her own trials against White Witch in the spirit of testing her mettle. Happily, Odette agreed to that condition. Begrudgingly, in order to seal it officially, Gwyneth asked for Puck to write the contract on her behalf and sign as well - Puck also owning a contract with White Witch he was able to make agreements in her stead. Departing on amicable means gifting Odette the similar ability to sense the closeness, Odette returned dictating everything that happened. Together Bach and Odette summoned Puck.
The Ambassador went into the meeting full of smug victory. She believed she had solved the puzzle that was his original prophecy and successfully diverting it. Puck was indeed surprised to be called upon by the likes of The Ambassador. She expressed the need to draw up a contract on behalf of White Witch and Gwyneth. Piquing his interest, being quite aware of White Witch’s quest. A little tension created from The Ambassador incorrectly believing he was still angry from their clashing over Joseph Mather’s body months ago. Puck admitted he was interested in seeing how things panned out and agreed to write the contract on a condition of his own. He wanted all she learned of Gwyneth, and to give her his revised prophecy now that he felt his foresight cleared some.
Angry and unhappy, Odette did not want to revisit the prophecy, the puzzle she thought she solved. Angry that he was changing the rules. She weighed the options, Puck was the only one who could write and seal the contract to forge their alliance. If it meant gaining a powerful witch as an ally over losing some sleep. Odette decided to make the deal.
”Sight . . . such woeful irony. The witch’s gift is yours to claim, a boon greater than you know, and yet one that will fail you time and again. Burned by witch’s fire, you stand ready in the garden to accept your paradise, not risen, but changed, changed as the cunning fire changes all. But even though the apple falls in your lap and the giantess gives her blessing, a serpent sneaks into your Eden and wraps itself round the Tree of Life. But this serpent does not tempt, no . . he hungers.
When the veil was formed by the Spirit of Old, when the stars fell and soaked the Earth in their blood, he was among them, thirsting for new life. He whispers to you in sorrowful sleep, invites you into his bed. He does not turn you from salvation, that is not his aim. Indeed, ‘tis not holy waters which will save you from his torment, but cunning fire, the spark of a world long forgotten. Be swift, young Eve. Be not consumed by his lust, but ravaged by a flame that was. And the question is not whether you will be burned, but whether you will rise from the ashes . . . or will he?”
-fdeviant
Shaken by the new prophecy she asked a peculiar question of Puck, if he truly believed in the stories of creation. Leading into a softer exchange reiterating that the spirit of Joseph Mathers and Puck did not hold The Ambassador in resentment. He disappeared leaving quietly. Reigning in her emotions she began to analyze the prophecy with Mandate’s help and unique perspective, finding comfort in Mandate’s company.
Hatching a new plan and finally approaching the White Witch. But not without setting her first trial and covering for an unpredictable outcome of such a meeting. The Ambassador sought the White Witch out and unknowingly the circle of friends that accompanied her to Las Vegas. The Ambassador found them at a grocery store starting a tense standoff Marie and a few other members of the pack immediately hostile at their appearance. It didn’t do well either that The Ambassador brought with her a legion of faerie to support her. Smugly, she revealed all she knew and threatened to destroy Gwyneth’s Sight if White Witch did not cooperate, convincing White Witch if she did not accept The Ambassador’s help she would turn her quest into an utter disaster. With the item being threatened and begrudging acceptance of her certain powers, Marie accepted The Ambassador’s offer much to the surprise of her friends. Their meeting was interrupted by the arrival of The Hounds of Humanity towing dangerous weapons like blessed silver bullets. Led by the notoriously efficient mercenary, Captain Dahl. She led the charge, answering to the Witchfinder-General.
The two sides clashed, sustaining injuries. The Ambassador saw the tide turn and crafted their escape. The White Witch was poisoned by the blessed silver and The Ambassador was shot in the shoulder after the portal was created, magic was unable to penetrate the bullet to remove it. Mandate shielded her against the worst of the attack, the bullets affecting her as well. The werewolves were riddled with bullets and same with Katarina. They all fought and escaped through the portal arriving to the quiet of the Hoover Dam.
Bach was able, with some first aid to remove the bullet from The Ambassador’s arm. She gloated her proof of strength and felt they all owed her their lives. Many of them disagreed. Passing the White Witch a means of a phone and direct line to Odette, Odette made their departure of Las Vegas to rest at home in Paris. Not before holding Marie’s friends accountable for her safety while they were apart and giving Marie the little trunk that held Sight.
Shortly before this fight was completed, there was the christmas arc in which The Ambassador and Mandate celebrated christmas together with Odette’s parents. A sweet and light hearted divergence set in christmas of the future.
The Ambassador caught up in IC in time for the Satellite Attack that levelled three cities at the hands of The Hounds of Humanity. She received some much needed healing from Vienna, a chance to catch her breath mulling over the events. When she was returned to form, alone she opened a portal to meet with Forge, offer the mercenary work.
When she arrived it was with warm hospitality, food and drink readily available. Her fellow frenchwoman having gone lengths to provide a good foot forward. Forge shared ambitious interest and reduced working rates for dealing with the Hounds of Humanity. The Ambassador appealed to that easily, the job being to focus on destroying their silver bullet production facilities. Forge tried to remain cool and professional, reeling from expectations. The Ambassador showed Forge a glittering sight of Faerie, elemental sprites flowing in around them. Helping to prove magic was indeed, real. Revealing what she was The Ambassador of.
Successfully hiring Forge, The Ambassador currently waits for her first reports.
Spending two days attending to her own affairs Odette returned to ballet after a long stint of ‘sick’ days. Slated to dance Helena in the production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Madame Renavand pulled her away from her morning warms up to speak in private. Madame Renavand bluntly told Odette she was to be pulled from the production, citing her string of bad health as a concern. Noting how little she knew of Odette as a person, concerned the string of sick days as of late were due to something else. She implored Odette to be honest.
Odette did just that.
She was honest about her involvement with crime and with magic. Madame Renavand immediately did not believe her, becoming agitated. When she was about to leave the office, Odette caught her briefly explaining how important ballet was as her sanctuary. She changed her memories with magic, things going back to normal.
The next day, Odette was on typical business, as usual, treating with the Lioness at Sculpture garden of Musée Rodin. Sylphs sent the Ambassador to broker an agreement on their behalf, The Lioness egged The Ambassador on, being free of owing The Ambassador anything - simply a native to Paris far longer than the Ambassador had been alive. Owing her nothing. Successfully cutting the deal to meet on neutral ground, The Lioness was fed.
Leaving behind the Lioness, Bach and Odette stopped at a local cafe to speak. Odette cleared the air of her true goals, Bach agreed to be less argumentative in her decisions.
The following day Odette contacted the White Witch, ready to continue on their quest for more of her items. The conversation over the phone was brief, Marie informed Odette she had split from her friends to Odette’s delight, clearly pleased that Marie was listening to her. When they met after Odette reached her through a portal, Marie explained what she had been up to since Vegas. She elaborated that she had worked with STRIKE during the Paxmethumana crisis, fighting against the likes of the Silver Sorceress. After their defeat, especially after Silver Sorceress’s defeat at Marie’s hand. When Silver Sorceress broke away from prison with Doctor Diplodoc the sorceress came to visit revenge. Marie being subjected to painful illusions satisfying Silver Sorceress’ thirst for revenge. Awakening a reminder of who she was as a witch.
Marie had a slew of questions for Odette, but Odette remained cagey and vague. Not interested in revealing everything. She gave her a hint, revealing that Gwyneth’s items housed pieces of her soul. Proving to The Ambassador that Marie really had a very scarce understanding of Gwyneth. They tried to figure out where to go next, neither receiving a feeling or hint of where the next item may be. Odette suggested Marie use the runic divination tools that Sight turned out to be. Through some puzzling and Bach’s helpful hand in understanding various languages they were able to decipher what the message from Sight could be. Connecting memories of the Bucca from Gwyneth’s past and Marie’s as well. They both simultaneously experienced a vision of the item, Mind being being revealed and a hint to it’s location. The book given to her when her certain powers were awakened as a child by the Bucca was being kept at her parent’s home in Massachusetts.

-1 Month Prior to the Lost Haven Riots-
The skyline in Paris was marvelled by millions as the sun set again for the day. For native Parisians it was a sign of comfort and signalled the beginning of its active nightlife. Coffee shops and restaurants lit up in response to the fading light. Along the cobblestoned streets in the old quarter, where everyday business owners raised the price of a cup of coffee to gouge locals and tourists alike.
A young woman with bright blue hair, eyes and bright pink lips sat outside one of these restaurants perched on the edge of her seat seemingly invested in the newspaper she had opened in front of her. Any regular onlooker would assume she was a high fashion debutant, more concerned with Fashion week than with current events. Who was paying for her expensive choices? A pair of rich parents or was she acting the part of a trophy wife. They were half right. The wars of man and its tragedies hardly caught her attention. The plea of refugees, war crimes and disease could not and would not move her to even care let alone react appropriately.
Assumptions from strangers did not register nor did they matter, not to her. However her attentions were on avidly listening to the small sprites whispering in her ear, invisible to everyone untouched by the Fey. They were giving her updates to where her next pick up would be found. Rising with the grace and dignity disciplined with years of ballet. Tonight when the sun dipped below the horizon she would take a quick walk then taxi ride to the edge of the city.
When she met with her clients, they were unnerved but polite greeting the woman. They spoke English with distinct American accents.
"Madame Ambassador." A tall scruffy gentleman in an ill fitted suit greeted her.
Smiling gently in hopes to ease their apparent fear, "Bonsoir, gentlemen."
They bowed their heads in respect; already she knew they were warned aptly of her expectations.
"Where are we heading to tonight?"
"Back to the states, ma'am. The Cowl is calling in his agents to start something big in Lost Haven." The tall man replied.
She nodded acknowledging his reply then said quietly, "The Cowl always has his plans. There is no time like the present so we shall depart shortly, sirs. I must warn and you must listen to what it is I am about to tell you."
They nodded in unison.
"You will be departing Earth as we know it and entering realms of true danger. While you are with me there is considerable protection. I have successfully escorted men and goods through these realms multiple times. But do not mistake me when I say you are not safe."
The men exchanged a look of fear as the young woman turned her back lifting her hands up to the sky already at work searching for her doorway. Her hands glowed with a misty blue while rapid fire French called for invocation. Light split in front of her blinding the men. A ragged strip of space opened in front of them as power flowed out of the arcane stream. The power flowed through her as a door took shape.
Immense concentration furrowed her brow while the final touches of the door formed.
"Now, gentlemen. We are ready. Follow me and stick close. Do not touch, do not linger and most importantly do not fear. For the Fey they know and will surely descend upon you. There is little I can do stop the dark Fey from devouring your very souls when they catch a strong scent of fear. I only hope for your sakes that it is a quick death."
Showing a toothy smile she opened the door with vigour, "Come, Lost Haven awaits us."
Identity: Secret/Known Will be known later, to start it’s a secret.
Character Personality: Eva is a troublemaker, who likes to party. She has dropped out of Highschool and is active on the rave scene. She shirks her chores and has an estranged relationship with her parents. Now after a tremendous weight has been placed squarely on her shoulders she begins to question her life choices which marks a turning point in her life. She will soon learn that there is more to life than partying as she searches for clues regarding the identities of the Murderers who killed her friends, while she grieves over her loss.
Uniform/costume:
Origin Info/Details: After Breaking into the American Museum of Natural History, via a borrowed key card. Eva and her friends surprisingly had a easy time setting up for a Flash Rave something that would only last thirty or so minutes before the Police were able to mobilize. However the real reason the Museum was quiet was because Eva and her friends were not alone, masked thieves had already killed the guards and began stealing ancient artifacts. Eva who tried to protect herself reached for what appeared to be a fossilized relic. Upon blocking the attackers who had gotten what they came for fled, and the stone which entrapped the sword crumbled to the floor. Where a Ghostly figure revealed the sword to be the Legendary Excalibur.
Hero Type (Select one): Normal Possible Power up.
Power Level (Select one below): It’s really a combination of the two. The sword is only as good as the wielder and although mystical the wielder is only human.
A. Street Level (Ex. Punisher, Daredevil) B. City Level (Ex. Spider-Man, Cyclops)
Powers (Be Specific): The Sword Excalibur is endowed with a variety of powers, It can cut any man-made object barring any alien or otherworldly materials. It will blind foes upon it being drawn from it’s sheathe. It is nigh unbreakable by any weapon forged by man, with the exception of other mystical weapons and those not from earth. Save for those as strong as Icon or Cosmic forces such as Umbraxis or Magic of the same tier. Enough World class magic should also break Excalibur if it sustains constant blows. Anything less than say someone of Thanos' might or Umbraxis should not break Excalibur in a single strike. Excalibur being a Legendary weapon, sometimes said to be created by the Lady in the Lake, or given to her after being forged by a Dragon. Which if Dragons did exist would be on par with Cosmic beings. They created a Legendary sword after all; presumably so. I could probably say the metal by which Excalibur is forged from could have come from the scales of a Dragon. Which being a cosmic creature would have properties all their own; say near Adamantium/Vibranium levels of durability but not quite there. Maybe a weaker version. You get the gist. The sword also grants enhanced speed (Olympic runner or Olympic Fencer level.)
The sheathe itself has powers as well, giving the wielder the ability of temporarily invulnerability, the wielder can be injured but will not bleed from wounds, nor can they be dismembered. And in case the wielder needs to recall the sword it, the sword will chose its owner, much like that of Mjolnir (should they be worthy) Even if Eva were to allow someone to borrow Excalibur they must meet that requirement. That's not to say the sword cannot be stolen from her, the thief just won't have any of the buffs or magical (cut anything) enhancements. That and it still can be recalled by it's owner (Eva) at anytime. Meaning one must knock her out, or use Magic! To prevent her from recalling it, or something along those lines.
Attributes (Select one at each category):
Strength Level: Normal Human
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal Human
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Normal Human
Agility: Normal Human
Intelligence: Below Average
Fighting Skill: Untrained - In training
Resources: Minimal
Weaknesses: She’s Human, although she is immune to dismemberment and bleeding. Fire will kill her, so too will poison, drowning et cetera.
Supporting Characters Her estranged parents Reuben and Amber Walsh; whose names are just for cover a legal necessity, and her Aunt Briley Patton (age 46). And her diseased friends Julius ‘Rave Master’ Sloan, Leon Hurst, and Shari Conway. Smiling Sampson. A Lex Luthor/Handsome Jack like character. Who hates Meta Humans, and thinks Humanity should be top dog. He's also a grade A jerkbag, who is Evil and insane even. Not madhouse insane but the world is out to get me insane and I need all the power I can get. My idea for him is that he has a anti Meta Human Riot Squad that has various talented individuals and a Mech unit. Think something like this.
Though more Civilian friendly, and less Pacific Rim war-machine. Oh and here's a link to the artist drawing so he can get the credit.
Merlin; Merlin comes from a world of pure might and magic. No technology no advancements, no supers (Mostly.) And A few differences are, One Merlin is a female, two she has also been a criminal at several points. Clashing with the status quo for various reasons, she has been called The Boar's Sin of Greed, and has haphazardly put others in harms way for her own experiments. Despite all of that she has also been the Alter World's Arthur's ally.
Eva’s Parents are actually named Nathaniel (age 51)and Alexandria (age 49) Wahlforth. Members of British High Society and currently declared Evangeline to be essentially banished from their sight

11:48 PM Museum of Natural History. “Come on, it’s just ahead.” Eva, Leon and Shari followed just behind Julius as they carried a number of amplifiers and boxes along with them. Julius’s plan was simple sneak in during the Guard shift set up quickly ahead of the partygoers who were on their way for a flash Rave, an idea Julius had. Get in a back door using a lifted keycard from one of his buddies party for thirty minutes or so then bug out. All the police would find was a trashed storeroom filled with uncatalogued artifacts and more plastic cups then they’ve ever seen before. He had it all planned out for a strung out druggie, and to Shari’s surprise it was far too easy.
“Were in, were in. We don’t have much time. Leon find an outlet, Shari keep an eye out on the door. Eva help me bring the rest of the boxes in. We need more cups, chips and booze.”
Leon rushed around checking the walls, while Shari nervously waited by the door. “Julius you sure this will work out? I mean this is a museum, a big one! You’d think there’d be more guards or cameras.”
“Relax Shari.” Eva spoke calmly. “We’re here in between shifts, there’s no one watching the cameras.”
“I.. I just don’t know Eva, there’s just something wrong about this. I can’t explain it.”
“Found the outlets!! Julius give me a hand with the equipment.”
“Eva bring in the rest of the stuff the party starts in five!”
As I nodded and ran back to the car, I stopped just for a moment as a sound caught my attention. Like footprints though not nearly as pronounced. No, nothing I thought as I opened the car trunk and reached inside grabbing a banana box filled with food. I tossed a few smaller ones on top before closing the trunk and heading back inside.
When I walked up to the door I spoke out.”Hey Shari give me a hand here will ya?” A second passed while I entered the room and looked about.”Shari, Leon, Julius!!? Come on guys it’s no time to be playing around.. We.. Oh. My. God!” The boxes I held dropped to the floor as bloodstains splattered the walls. The panic and fear gripped my voice as I called out again.”SHARI! LEON! JULIUS! Wher..”
From behind me the door closed and a arm thick as a tree grabbed me by my hoodie and tossed me into a rack.
“Another unaccounted guest, this one will not hinder our work.” The hulking figure spoke as others came in from the shadows.
“Finish it quick, we need you to help the rest of us look.”
He turned his gaze back to me.”She won’t take long at all.”
I scrambled back into the metallic rack, covered in blood. My own, my friends? I.. I looked to see him stretched out to me hand poised to snap my neck. My hands reached back fumbling over vases and stone tools, until I grabbed what I thought was a stick or was it a club, it felt hard as if made of stone. I swung it at him hitting his shin.
He acted as if it hadn’t fazed him in the slightest. But I could feel it, his anger penetrated my soul, like his eyes burned right through me. He slammed down with his fist pounding the club into me and cracking the floor. I felt the wind leave my chest completely and my own eyes were so heavy, they were being pulled down against my will. I saw him in that moment smiling as he walked away, and a light flashed before me.
Next thing I knew I awoke and just in front of me a specter wearing old clothes and a crown was shaking my body.
“Awaken! Awaken already!! Quickly now you must flee!!”
I groggily looked about to see the room engulfed in flames. My bones felt as if they were glass, I was overcomed with fear, desperation. I wanted to scream at the sight of the Ghost, of the fire.
“Young Miss! Young Miss! Eva!! Get a hold of yourself, you’ll burn. Take the sword, it will protect you. Do not let it leave your grasp!!”
“How do you know..”
“Eva! Now is not the time. Take the sword. And hurry!!”
The Ghost confused me more than the fire, my assailants. This night just couldn’t be real none of it could. The Ghost spoke of a sword and as I looked about I saw no such thing. But clinched in my hand was no other than the sword he spoke of. I didn’t remember holding a sword. But it was there sure as day. I stood to my feet limping away, I could feel the heat liking my back. The pain felt unbearable, I shouldn’t be walking I must be dead, I have to be dead. The cracking of the flames tore the walls down to my left, my right and all around me.
“You must hurry Eva! Before the flames consume you!”
The door seemed so close now, the handle was just in reach. But I couldn’t lift my arm. It was then the door flew open as the Ghost blasted it aside. I fell to the ground as I lost all the feeling in my legs.
“Just a little farther Eva. Crawl if you must.”
Strange, I should be afraid of this Ghost. But his words were so familiar so comforting. The concrete tore my skin up I could see the flesh under my skin. But no blood, not a drop. As I managed to crawl to saftey. I looked up at the Specter. “Who, are you?”
“I shall answer my King. I am Arthur Pendragon. Former King of Camelot. And you who have broken the curse sealing my sword, your sword. Excalibur. Is the rightful King of England.”
“Kin...g” I said with my last breaths before everything went blank. The sounds and sights gone as I passed out.
Alias: Barron is the only name he is known by however it is presumed that it is not his real name. No one not even his wife knows his true name.
Speech Color This thing? color=9e0039 I don't remember.
Character Alignment: Villain
Identity: His name is known just not currently as a Major Villain. That will change as he begins to act openly.
Character Personality: Egotistical, power hungry and cruel. Barron has wanted one thing and one thing only for a long time, true power. He comes from a world devastated by destruction brought about by man, radiation and power rule the wastes. He and his wife Carol have come to resent these humans of this new world their self indulgence and ignorance of their own planet’s destruction have driven these two who feed off each other’s personalities to desire to amass power and wealth so they could conquer this world.
As violent as Barron can be he rewards those who are useful to him, and is regarded as a decent boss never raising his hand against those who work well under him, yet never allowing himself to seem weak. He’ll kill those who fail him too many times and depending upon how they failed him he could kill them outright without warning.
He surrounds himself with the finer things in life, the best alcohol, dapper clothes and expensive baubles.
Uniform/costume: Dapper Mobster clothing.
Origin Info/Details: Barron is the victim of a rip in time and space. He and Carol were ripped from their own dimension a world devastated by atomic mutual destruction. A Lead Mystical Scientist working for Vlad Tepes was sure he could control and open a stable gateway between dimensions and as his test progressed it ran into several errors. In the process of shutting it down it had torn open a portal and two people were snatched from their dimension. Barron Vanderbilt a man who had risen to power by running the casino Gomorrah in New Vegas after the former bosses met an unfortunate accident.
Barron grew up in a normal home to post apocalyptic standards and after Raiders ransacked his family farm something inside himself snapped, after killing his own parents he ran a raider gang for some years, and came across New Reno and the power the Crime Bosses had was staggering and he wanted it he wanted it all. It was also where he would meet his future wife, Carol Bates whose father ran the Gun Runners in the area. He and Carol would go on to attempt to take New Reno but the Crime Bosses were onto him. Driven from New Reno Barron and Carol packed up and fled to New Vegas where Barron had friends in Gomorrah who met an untimely end. Here Barron would rise in power and plan his move to take Vegas.
He had all the pieces in place to make his move as Barron began his assault on Vegas war broke out on the streets and explosions bombarded the buildings that was when the sky quite literally opened Barron stood next to Carol in amazement as everything stopped and the sky swallowed them whole. The transferring of Dimensions was not an easy one as not only were Barron and his wife ripped from their dimension but so too was rubble and explosive debris causing major damage to the lab and nearly left Barron dying in the process.
A stable portal between worlds would have given Vlad the power he needs to be completely unopposed by the world powers. Sure they fear him now but the rise of Metas and Superheroes have begun to level the playing field. Unlimited access to the technology and resources of other worlds would ensure that he and his kind not only thrived for all time but dominated in case the world decided to retaliate. Not only has the experiment failed but due to their negligence two individuals were nearly killed something his pride wouldn’t let him ignore. Against his better Judgement he saved them from Death’s grasp by making a last minute decision to turn them into Vampires.
Fast forward five years later and Barron runs a Crime Ring in Vegas out of a casino called Gomorrah. He has plans to expand his operations.
Hero Type (Select one): Supernatural: Elder Blood Breed Vampires
Power Level (Select one below): C. World Level (Ex. Flash, Superman)
Powers (Be Specific):
Near Invulnerability. As a Elder Blood Breed Vampire plain physical attacks have little effect on them. Exposure to their Key weaknesses can make them more vulnerable.
Magical Affinity. As a Vampire they have the ability to cast magic spells and effects. Charm spells and polymorphism are the most common but they can utilize destruction and status spells that can put people to sleep or bind them.
Telekinetic Feeding. As an Elder Blood Breed they can feed from a farther distance pulling the blood in a stream thus increasing their powers. This can also turn victims into Mindless Ghouls to be used to distract enemies. Elder Blood Breeds don’t need to feed but it’s like a alcohol and it does charge them giving them more power to an extent.
Inhuman Strength.
Inhuman Speed.
Claws and Fangs.
Near Immortality. Elder Blood Breed Vampires will not age, nor will they die unless weakened first.
Attributes (Select one at each category):
Strength Level: 70 tons. Possibly more if well fed.
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 90 + possibly more if well fed.
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Normal Human, 2, 3, 4, 5 hours.
Agility: 15X a normal human
Intelligence: Average
Fighting Skill:Trained They have basic training to understand their powers but have not lived long enough to master their abilities.
Resources: Large. Barron runs a Casino as a front and traffics illegal contraband and magical items to those who pay.
Weaknesses: Sunlight, crosses, holy water, and prayer. Those who specialize in Vampire hunting or those Holy Men who have a strong faith can weaken Vampires sometimes significantly although that depends of the Type of Vampire and Level of Faith. Also those who have holy artifacts or those who can cast Divine Magic.
Depending upon the method used, Elder Blood Breeds can receive various forms of damage. Sunlight constantly weakens and drains them of energy. Like a Marathoner running 16 Marathons back to back No matter how much blood one drinks eventually they’ll run out of energy.
The Presence of Crosses can allow their invulnerable bodies to sustain damage. Same for Prayer.
Divine Magic can be utilized in a myriad of ways. From weakening to sealing, to outright killing them. It depends on the skill and of course time and faith but Divine magic can be a powerful weapon against the cursed and undead.
Supporting Characters: Carol Bates or Carol Vanderbilt.

Character you have created: Parasite Alias: Parasite Speech Color :#C372FF Character Alignment: Identity: Sample F 2215 Character Personality: A sadistic, cruel being from another world, he has little care for human lives. While not really interested in human affairs, parasite is not above piggybacking different powerplayers to get new and exciting things to devour.
Dressed in a flawless white suit, with a swarthy complexion undetermined ethnicity, Parasite give of the air of a man in charge. This is carried over in how everything on his fits like a glove. He stands about 6'0 tall and posses a lightly muscular frame. His true appearence however, is that of a vaguely humanshaped mass of energy, in which you can see stars and alien skies. A madness inducing sight to be sure.
Origin Info/Details: Not all science is done for the sake of humanitys advancement. Such science is often mad and dangerous. The story of Sample F 2215 is one such story. A sample of extra-terrestial origin, the F 2215 was retrieved in the artic where it had been dormant for well over 200 years. How it came to the earth is still something of a mystery to scientists, as there were no evidence of a meteorite or similair impact. Sample F 2215 was found frozen, in a semi solid state. It was extremely unerving, shifting forms within its frozen shell and seemingly reacting to human presence.
The head of the E.I.P (Extraterrestial Intelligence Project) ordered the sample cut out of the ice and thawed in a sealed unit. Thus, the Parasite was freed. They believed its nature to be biolgical as first. But every test on the substance showed, well nothing. No strands of DNA, no blood or similair. In fact, it seemed entirely dormant whenever machines approached it. But the head of EIP, Dr Karl Ludhof, ordered they test it with live material. The Substance showed it's first real reaction. The rat that was put into the unit, seemed to recoil and scratch on the unit walls untill its tiny claw were nothing but blood. It was as if it had been gripped by absolute terror. The sample grew minutely in size. And then the rat was lifted up in the air telekineticly and tossed around the room.
Any sane man would shut the project down at this point. The thing was malevolent, they could all sense it. But even if they were to call the project off, they didn't know HOW to kill the sample. Nor did they realize the things true nature before it was to late. It had allready began to feed off their brainwaves, learning about the human race and the lab. It began to grow slowly, sapping the minds of those around him, picking up their fears and feeding off it.
Around two weeks after retriaval, people began to see things, feel things. Finally powerfull enough to manifest, Parasite took a human shape and tried to comminicate. It appeared benevolent compared to its earlier stage. It explained its earlier agression from negative feedback from the testsubject. Being a creature of constantly increasing intellect, it was deemed to valuable to terminate.
Sadly, the being would one day decide it had grewed bored with the lab and its scientists. It let out its full mind, a eldricht wave of malevolence that caused the people around him to go insane. He spared the sharpest of minds present and roamed the halls consuming them.
Now Parasite is free and spreads death and fear wherever it goes.
Hero Type (Select one): Malevolent Psychic Parasite Power Level (Select one below): World, Possibly Cosmic if he ever consumes a mind powerfull enough. Powers (Be Specific): Perfect Mimicry; The Parasite can replicate anybodies voice, appearence and movements. He often catches victim offguard with this.
Sanity Sap (scaling); Being near the Parasite induces paranoia, disgust, panic, anxiety and any number of insanity related conditions. This is becouse he brainwaves and replace them with his own. He grows more powerfull constantly if left by his lonesome.
Void Gaze; Parasite can, at will, project mentally upon people. Showing them images of their own fears, desires or other reflective aspecs of their personality. He can also let them stare into his mind, and into his world. To do this he has to have eyecontact. But once in his grip, it takes a strong mind to look away.
Physchokinesis: Parasite possess a potent mind capable of many forms of telekinesis and psychokinises.
Telepathy (limited); Not the most powerfull of telepaths, Parasites telepathy only extends so far as to let him feed off strong emotions and errant thoughs. It's a consuming presence, just like everything else.
Psychic Energy Manifestion (Passive); Being a being of no real substance, destroying parts of him will only slow him down. He will eventually reform all that he lost. However, doing this weakens him. Poisons and things that target his biology has no effect either.
Attributes (Select one at each category):
Strength Level: 2xHuman Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 20 times human Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 3 hours Agility: 5 times human Intelligence: Abnormal, super levels of IQ Fighting Skill: Doesn't fight like a normal person. Never trained or valued it.
Resources: It tends to seek out powerfull but weak minded people and take their identity as it's own.
Weaknesses: For all intents and purposes; Parasite isn't real. His body is a manifestation of pure psychic energy. While it can reform, destroying it completely is to draining for the entity to recreate. And really powerfull telepaths could disrupt his very essence and disperse him into nothingness.
Supporting Characters :
Mai Hagatzu (Antagonist); Head of the Zeta Retriaval Unit, catching or exterminating Parasite is her life goal. Mai is a stubborn and by the book military woman who worked for the E.I.P t from its very founding.
Character you have created: Racheli Lorna Desdemona
Alias: In costume- Nemesis, name suggested by Gabriel Out of costume- Rach, nick by her friends
Speech Color: indianred
Character Alignment: Walking the Line
Identity: Nemesis
Rach has been forced to give up her identity due to Gene Co issuing a statewide arrest warrant, allegedly because of property damage and corporation sabotage. Since Gene Co has a pretty clean reputation as far as corporations goes, there’s little evidence to suggest foul dealings or their true intentions without investigating it. So any players (who weren’t involved in Natural Selection Arc) wanting to be made aware of Gene Co’s alternative motivations need to first contact me and we’ll work out the details.
Character Personality (Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations):
Racheli is an independent and strong individual, mainly in personality. To those who have managed to get by her defenses and befriend her, she's a deeply loyal and a protective friend who will risk life and limb for their safety. Though helping them achieve their goals is another matter altogether because if she doesn't like something, she won't hesitate to let you know in a blunt and often thickly sarcastic way. Rarely does she ever pull punches to spare someone's feelings when it comes to something completely stupid. Most believe she is a short tempered woman, who hates receiving charity. Often she'll reply to those individuals with sour looks and scoffing off the attempts as they are given. Granted when it comes to solid logic she can't argue with, Racheli is known to yield some times but it doesn't mean she's happy about. So expect her sore loser to show.
To strangers and acquaintances, she sometimes comes off as a cold and closed off individual, making becoming friends with others difficult at first. While she will act like a human being and interacts when talked to, you shouldn’t expect to gain any personal information about her situation or thoughts for a while. Trust is difficult to earn though just words.
Just like with many of her habits, she acts first and thinks about the consequences later. This traits worsens when her temper is flared. She never thinks about what comes out of her mouth save that it might end up hurting the one they are targeted at. Once it is all said and done, she sometimes realizes too late she had crossed a line. However, it takes a lot for her to verbally apology because it means her own feelings didn’t really matter in her mind and her views weren’t worth fighting for. Despite her flaws, she does have some positive aspects to her personality besides her protective nature to her friends. Though she tries to hide it, Racheli does have strong sense of what society expects is right and wrong. She can’t stand around and fully ignore someone else’s issues unless her own needs overwhelm that instinct. The more she knows about an individual, the easier it is to get personally involved and that can cause problems for her.
Motivation/Fear
She is driven to never to become like her father, fearing that once she finally takes a life then the desire would become addictive and impossible to stop. Like a drug addict hooked on the strongest drugs. She lacks trust she will never fall that far and is continually on alert, holding back her aggression until it can be released in a better way. Sometimes, if it's bottled up too long, she becomes irritable. It doesn't help she's plagued by nightmares and every time she manages to draw blood, her heart races and cries for more. The high it causes is rather difficult to ignore though she stubbornly refuses to yield to it...
Uniform/costume:
Introducing it this Season and will likely be in it most of the season. Most of it was designed in the Forge with help from Gabriel based on her insistence on simplicity, and none of that ‘high’ tech bullshit.
The unseen part is black, semi loose fitting pants and combat boots with a steel toe end and bottom to give her kicks some punch. Rach's costume is based and chosen more for function rather than being flashy, attention seeking or intimidating to those who notice her. In fact she rather they forget she encountered them at all as too much news could result in trouble with the wrong people. Primary colors are black and silver gray, the latter from her ability to influence metals and change their properties. Her mask isn't a completely solid metal as it’s made from another source of metal on her body, which thanks to using her metal manipulation can prevent its destruction, removal, or other destruction unless her powers are nulled or affected in some fashion.
Equipment:
Bust
Head/face: Metal from her necklace which can form into a mask
Neck: Choke studded necklace, nothing but leather after applying mask, thicker than an inch;
Shoulders: Black, hooded small jacket with long sleeves;
Chest: Thin metal sheets, a centimeter in thickness that covers her chest and navel.
Arms
Upper arms: None
Forearms: None
Wrists: R & L- two bike chain bracelets on each wrist.
Lower Half
Waist/Hips: BR Pocket- bunch of change ranging from pennies to quarters, including a pocket knife.
Legs: Thin, black pants made from abrasion resistant material made to prevent slices from knives and other bladed weapons.
Slice,
Feet: R&L- metal plating on bottom and steel toe boots
Additional notes: There are metals she’s absorbed within each fiber which allows her to meld it with her abilities but due to the focus required, she can’t do this within combat as she lacks practice and experience in doing it.

Birthplace- Spring Hill, IN Residence/Current Location- View Heights Apartment in Lost Haven, Maine Occupation- Bartender Father- Michael Garth (arrested and supposedly put to death) Mother- Jackie Desdemona (deceased, murdered) Aunt- Ruth Garth (deceased recently)
Past summary:
Born in Spring Hill, IN to a teenage mother by the name of Jackie Desdemona, her father was unknown even among the tightly knit community they lived in during her first few months of her life. Shortly afterwards they moved to Mannis, New York, a suburban area ideal to raise children and provided more opportunities for both of them. Things seemed to have been going well up until Racheli turned two. On her birthday, a mysterious man had came knocking at their door. He was engaging into a heated argument which escalated and resulted in Ms. Desdemona's murder then Rach's abduction. Despite months spent in searching for her, no one could find hair or trace of the daughter.
In a few months all attempts were ceased, turning the murder and kidnapping case into a cold file.
The abductor was her own father, Michael Garth, who raised her over the years, her mind completely and blissfully unaware of his blood stained hands. It was an uneventful period with her father continually traveling from state to state across the USA to avoid the heat created from her mother’s death. In many ways, to the outside, he was seen as the perfect single father doing his best to raise his little girl. However, all those memories would become bitter ashes when she learned the truth deep within the Oregon wilderness.
It was a yearly cabin trip, one they took every season. The building completely isolated save for a single road running straight through the woods about half a day’s trek on foot from their location. One night when she was eight, Rach discovered a woman locked within the basement causing Michael to reveal he had been murdering them here for years. The place designed for the grim task and creating a deep, dark fear of him. Unable to escape, she was quickly forced to joined into the task with a casual warning that she was as guilty as him. It didn’t help it at that point she learned something twisted about herself: She got enjoyment out of inflicting pain and suffering. IT rattled her heavily to realize this while he ushered her into bed, after cleaning her up, then tucked her in with a soft peck on her head.
Driven by her own selfish desires, she and the woman escaped that same night. They were at the back door when Michael had come down the stairs, looking for Rach after finding she was missing from her bed. He grimly stared at them causing them both to bolt into the nearest room, Rach quickly bolting the door and pushing the woman out of the window. His fingers nearly grasped Rach’s heel when she hopped down into the dirt then took off after the hobbling woman into pure darkness.
The woman died due to infection and blood loss hours later, her body buried somewhere in the wilderness alongside several other corpses. During the night, Rach managed to find a ditch to hide in and avoid her father. It was dawn the next morning when she got a trucker’s attention, nearly getting herself ran over in the process, and finally got him to call police thanks to her shirt being covered in dirt, blood and she didn’t want to know what else.
Things turned into a mess afterwards. The body was discovered, the torture room found, and evidence collected through his personal trophies causing a case to be iron clad against him. He was arrested, after fleeing the scene, days later bring some relief to Rach. He was then put for the death penalty weeks later. Meanwhile Racheli was placed into a temporary foster home until a relative, her grandmother, could retrieve her. Once again she was moved over state lines into Maine where she would stay for yet more years. The adjustment wasn’t easy.
In her teenage years, Racheli grew up in the suburban area in a small town just on the outer limits. Due to the media over her father, she had gotten a rough reputation and most parents had their child avoid contact with her out of fear. It didn’t help she came off distance, aggressive and worst thanks to her personal problems. At thirteen she and a couple of kids broke into the local gym, but she was the only one caught.
The police asked if the gym owner wanted to press charges, her mouth shut while she refused to rat out those with her, which he didn’t. Instead he shook his head and she received an ultimatum. Either work in the gym to pay off the damages or go to jail. It was a losing battle so she chose the option to work off the damages and still not be forced to rat anyone out. Being around the gym while the boxers trained sparked her interest in the sport, her answer yes when the guy offered to train her. Like before, there was strict conditions but in her eyes it was too good to pass up. Racheli trained to become a contender for the city tournament in the following years, turning eighteen and reaching for the top thanks to her competitive drive. Like most things in her life, bad luck got in the way.
Her grandmother became ill. This forced Racheli to give up on her dream and move on, focusing on keeping them alive and housed. She got two full jobs, her better people skills helping her to keep them, while barely visiting the gym well into her adulthood. Life was hard and over time, she stopped going back to the gym completely. Even boxing on her own was too much strain to continue.
Over a three days ago, her grandmother mysteriously passed away in her sleep. Arranging the cremation and funeral, the last task left, Rach ended the apartment leash and was flying to Lost Haven in order to dump her grandmother Ruth's ashes into the sea. It felt like it was best to make a new start and that was something Racheli intended to do. She's arrived in Lost Haven, Maine, just over an hour ago with her grandmother ashes. During the flight, it seemed she had caught something because she's been feeling weak and coughing sparingly.
Little did she realize was it was actually a virus which had murdered numerous individuals and was rewriting her own DNA, gradually destroying her from the inside out. She met Justine within Lost Haven and thanks to Garth, had an agreement to bunk with her until other arrangements were made. Those living conditions didn’t last too long when the riots happened in Sherman Square. Gangs came out of the woodwork, stressing police resources and creating a literal hell on earth resulted in a chemically enhanced thug breaking into their apartment. Helpless and unable to defend herself, Rach doesn’t recall much during this period but according to Gabe and Justine she was in full grip of the virus. The apartment exploded leaving Rach and Justine homeless.
Rach spent most of the rest of the week within the CDC, her skin being poked, examined, and more for the scientists to learn of what was happening to her. However one man already knew the full details but didn’t share. That man was named Dr. Gabriel Cole. Otherwise known as Icarus, the very superhero (alongside Justine) who engaged the thug before his death.
When Lost Haven was threatened as a possible terrorist target, the CDC decided to move Racheli to a safer location. This open it up for her to be acquired by Gene Co whose CEO requested aid from the very crime lord himself, the Cowl. Sending in a spy to collect intelligence, the man managed to both collect information and aid in Rach’s capture. During the attempt, several new faces rushed to Rach’s aid including the heroes Joseph, White Witch, and Hydro as well as an old face, Icarus. However they were unable to stop Rach from being delivered into the Cowl’s hands. Silence, as he was called, departed early and has yet to remerge into the scene. Odette stuck around and prevented Rach’s first attempt at escape as Rach was locked into an anti-meta box then set aside to wait until Gene Co arrived.
Feeling abandoned and forgotten, Rach learned about the virus’ history and loathed the creature even more. Unknown to herself, the heroes were making headway into getting her back while White Witch dealt with her role in the Pax threat. They located Rach then stormed the Ironworks, resulting in once casuality on the heroes side: Joseph. The win was a bitter one as while the heroes managed, with heavy struggle, free Rach they were forced back by Gene Co reinforcements.
With a rattling prediction over her head, Rach spend months in the Forge both training to become stronger and controlling her abilities. Until recently she didn’t realize Gene Co had placed a warrant over her for damages to property forcing her to always be in hiding behind her new alias, Nemesis.
Dr. Marcus Twaine, a bacterial and rock specialist, discovered the organism on asteroid rock samples taken by NASA's space probe Hermes after returning home. Microscopic and viral like, the government delivered the creature to a disclosed location. Though the place wasn't officially named, many folks knew it as Building 51. It was here where it was studied, experimented with and attempted to be better understood but known to the scientists, they had altered the Alien's original DNA in their ignorance. It became more of a living, intelligent virus which could now exist in humans. It was discovered when a scientist was exposed and infected, displaying unusual symptoms within minutes. Quarantining the host, they were able to extract the Alien for further study.
Hoping to weaponize it, several humans, from criminals to volunteers, were exposed to the Alien. Most the civilians were dead within minutes as they died in stage three. Surprisingly it was the criminals who lasted the longest during the trials, ranging in hours before their bodies finally wore down and died. It was one of these death sentenced killers who allowed the Alien to escape when it synced with the man's brain pattern causing a chain reaction and slaughtered the staff, leaving corpses ripped apart in its wake. Using a car, it drove out of the smoldering building's ruins. For months, it passed through several hosts and infected often by direct touch, staying in dormant state until it was activated. All it took was a stressful event to trigger it which was easy as it was impossible to avoid it. Its last victim was an elderly woman named Ruth Desdemona, Racheli's own grandmother who died within stage one. Currently it’s within the woman's granddaughter and bonded with her.
Hero Type (Select one): Other-Host to an Alien Symbiote (Phylactery)
Power Level (Select one below):
Mentality: Street level (Her selfishness and fears force her to remain on the smaller scale of things) Physical: Between Street and City Level (She has the potential to grow to the Cosmic level, but events, connections, and even character development in the IC can influence when/how/in what manner her mind will be in when that happens) Emotionally: Street Level (Anymore, she’ll have a mental break down and kick someone’s ass...or the wall)
Powers (Be Specific):
~Note~
As the Alien grows and developments, Rach will evolve and become stronger. Her virus changing her genetics resulting in new abilities showing up or some growing into others as she grows in the IC, all pre-approved by the GMs before introduced into the IC.
Racheli
Physical
~Metal manipulation: Racheli has the ability to control and sense all types of metal she has come into contact with, currently limited to the most common ones on the Earth’s Periodic Table. When she fully acquires a the essence of a metal, earth based or otherwise, she can manipulate its structure between solid to liquid, alter its base atom components into another type (example: copper into steel), increase or decrease the metal’s original strength and gain usable data through touch alone that could take computer’s decades. The only thing Rach can’t alter with a metal is the total volume. Without additional metal from another source to alter and add to, the existing metal volume is unable change despite what she does to manipulate it.
For alien, magical, or more complicated metals beyond Earth, Racheli must touch for several seconds uninterrupted and absorb the data before she can manipulate it easily. Any attempts to do so before she’s done this step will result in a feeble, sometimes barely noted effect. It also leaves her vulnerable to attack during this time since she is unable to use her magnetism during this time and have to rely on her physical power and durability.
If Rach should affect a magical item made of metal, the magical properties will remain the same and only the shape might alter. Some items, depending on the magical properties might not even be affected all. (Narrative based)
Range- Any metal within eyesight, as long as she can see than it can be altered. Other Notes- N/A
~Minor Transmutation Abilities: Rach has learned, on a very minor scale, how to break down and alter elements beyond metal. However, she has to smear her blood upon the surface then focus on breaking it down. This takes time and her full focus making it a poor combat ability, especially when it doesn’t always work. Her most common use of this ability is to change her fingers into metal carbon then morphing them into thin, razor sharp blades.
Range- Close and within Touch range Other- The time it takes varies on how complicated the material is. If it’s a base element, like say a wooden tree, then the material will only take an hour or so to break down then be reformed. However if the same wooden tree was carved then turned into a wooden chair with metal and other decorative fixings, the breakdown could take several hours to complete. Some materials might not even break down fully at all since she is still developing this ability.
~Magnetism: This ability focuses on magnetism and magnetic fields, allowing Rach to create, manipulate, and focus magnetism of various forms. Examples include magnetosphere, magnetic materials, planetary, etc. This allows her to attract or repulse metal objects to either become directed at herself or a fixed location within her range. She is also able to create and sense magnetic field. She can gain information such as their flow and disrupting their natural path into something different by changing their ion charge. Centering this on items or her palms, she can create an electrical current which gives her attacks a little shock to them. However these shocks never build up to the point of becoming fatal as the battles often lasts minutes at most, rather than days. Rach is unable to influence the bioelectrical within a pure organic creature without risking internal damage to herself, strictly since the energy used could also affect her own system as well.
Range- 6 meters from her being the epicenter Other-
~Nanites: Racheli’s body has gained the ability to regenerate when injured, either during combat or other situations that inflict harm. This is thanks to the nanites saturating her vein system and replacing her blood with a black, thick fluid like swarm. This gives her blood a gritty, tar like texture when exposed to the air. Outside the body they seem to ‘die’ or shut down, unable to continue to function outside their own self contained environment within her body. Within, they are fully able to carry out basic functions of the body indefinitely by feeding it energy, nutrients, mending it when injured and various other needs for a health individual.
When destroyed by outside sources like specific positions targeting organic machines or spilling her blood, the nanites dig deep. They manufacture more of themselves using Racheli’s own natural biology, which has the ability to alter into organic metals for the construction and spawn an unlimited amount since her body never stops producing these materials. However production speed and repairing of the damages can be slowed drastically. They aren’t instant and when nanites focuses are divided over several severe wounds, than they will gradually drop their healing level just to sustain her life.
Here’s a chart estimate of her healing levels and how long it would take to mend over each type of severity, through this isn’t all of them and those wounds will be mainly based on narrative and what fits the situation best.
Minor
These wounds usually take anywhere between a few moments to hours at most.
These wounds can take anywhere between a day to a month, or longer, to mend.
~ fractured bones as well as bent ~ruptured, and/or bursted organs ~torn, ripped, and shredded skin/muscles ~snapped tendons, etc ~damaged nerves ~regrowing a limb
Range- Within Other-
Mental
~Accelerated Perception and Procession: Being hardwired and upgraded into a biological computer, Racheli’s brain now processes and collects information at a hyper accelerated rate. Activated at all time, her mind slows down the scene mentally and can even pause it when needed (the outside events still are moving at their normal speed, her mind is just moving faster to absorb, register and anaylze). Her memory is increased and is photographic, enabling her to recall things much clearer and quickly compared to before she bonded with the virus. This also means she will never forget anything since her mind can store vast amounts of exact data. Through understanding what is told to her is another matter completely. Her reflexes also aren’t necessarily speed up as this ability only affects her chances of reacting before the danger can reach her which if her speed is naturally slower, the too great to get clear or other additional factors than she will get hit. At best she can likely limit the damage done, especially when caught off guard.
Range- Undefined Other- N/A
~Enhanced Hearing: Racheli’s hearing has become extremely sensitive that she can easily determine the acoustic pressure changes within a single decibel in the ideal conditions. Thanks to this change she can easily pick infrasound, ultrasound, sonar and even radio signals traveling within her area with little effort when she focuses on filtering the background noise. Not even sound proof walls can prevent her keen ears from picking up noises through them which can allow her to tell an individual’s position and eavesdrop on their conversation with ease. On an individual, she can gain a surprising depth when it comes to listening to their heartbeat, blood circulation, breathing, and physical movements such as lying, injury, etc. Each individual’s heartbeat has a distinct volume, rate, and pattern to it that she can use to id a target even when in disguise.
Range- Within a mile when in ideal conditions, and a fourth in worst. Other- Multiple sounds or background noise that’s within a meter of her can interfere with her ability, making it hard for Rach to focus on her target and separate the sounds collecting in her hearing. In addition, extreme sounds ranging in either higher or lower frequencies than a human’s ability to hear will hurt and possibly stun Rach when she’s not been forewarned to filter it out. Through she can tell when an individual without complete control over their body is lying, people with pacemakers and complete control are another matter. They are able to fool her hearing since they can maintain an unbroken rhythm with their heart beat as well as breath.
~Enhanced Sight: Racheli’s vision has increased to about 20/5, about four times of a normal human and able to pick out a mouse from about two miles away. On zooming into the image, she can pick out incredible detail and clarity as if she was standing right on top of it. When she alters her vision spectrum she can identify infrared, ultraviolet, x-ray, microwaves, radio waves, and more when she’s seen them at least once.
Range- 2 miles in ideal conditions, one fourth in worst. Other- Magical/abilities that allow invisibility can easily overcome this perception, preventing her from being able to see the target or details relating to it. With enhancement comes sensitivity as well, Racheli’s eyes are more susceptible to bright flashes, extreme colors, and other visual ‘explosions’ that her eyes can briefly shut down to reboot. This blindness can last up to minutes or days depending on the optical damage and how fast it is mended.
~Enhanced Taste: This ability allows Rach to have gained accurate sense of taste and gain greater detail about a food, drink or material she’s sampling. She can tell the ingredients from a 20 mg sample, separating each independent element from the whole mixture. This can easily alert her to poisons and unnatural content that are rather harmful to her system, possibly sparing her consuming or enabling to determine what is edible and even nutrient.
Range- Close Range Other- Magic and tasteless substances will elude this ability, preventing her from placing it and cause her to struggle.
~Enhanced Smell: Racheli’s sense of scent is heightened beyond human and rivaling those animals with the keening olfactory abilities known on earth. This allows her to distinguish individual musks and other odors aiding in locating specific persons, objects, substances and even places with nothing but her nose. She can tell where an individual has been based on what scents have been collected on their person and even retract their steps, enabling her to tell how long ago they were there and even how long they lingered there. With most individuals, based on their pheromone changes and chemical clues, she can tell if a target is lying, sick, diseased or poisoned thanks to hormones/smells that are excreted within a set area. If she’s smelled a scent before than she can easily recollect that same smell when it crosses her path and where at exactly.
Range- In ideal conditions, her range is about 1.75 miles before the scent fades. About a fourth of that in the worse one. Other- Range determines the amount of information Rach can gleam from an individual. At her limit range and in ideal conditions, she can only locate and track the target's’ movements enough to keep up. However in closer range and without any preventing magics/abilities, she can gain a more insightful data. This includes the individual’s condition, specific odor markers, what they’ve touched, what they’ve eaten, their race, where they’ve been recently, etc. Strong odors and several at once can cause extreme pain, ruining her focus and even kill her ability to gain information.
~Enhanced Touch: Her sense of touch is sensitive enough to note indentations of ink on paper, radiation off items, seismic activities and even micro voltage. She can even feel the faintest crack that’s invisible to the naked eye. Her body can sense minute changes in temperature and pressure, enabling her to predict changes in weather or atmosphere surprisingly accurately. She can even tell the intensity the closer the storm comes into her general area. She can sense a human’s body’s change in heat and their air disturbance from at least five feet away, including if an individual is alive, for how long if they’ve died, emotions (such as blushing or other emotions that increases heat), and residual heat off objects or machines.
Range- In best of the conditions, up to a mile diameter. In worse, about a fourth of that. Other-Rach can senses these vibrations through solid substances, liquid, and even air pressure changes. However, the closer to her limited range the less details she can obtain like many of her other enhanced perception abilities.
Combative Skills
~Boxing: At a young age, Racheli learned the basics about the art of boxing. To say she mastered it is impossible as that would imply she can't improve, a fact which isn't true, so her levels haven't peaked fully. Before she was forced to give it all up, her experience level lie within what her gym classed as a Prospect and a Journeymen in the sport. She had the talent, footwork and drive, but her experience lacked heavily and that was a factor which hurt her more then the rest. Even a poor athlete could be a decent boxer if they had the experience of a champ. Her skill level now resides in Tomato Cans level though it wouldn't take her long to raise to the level of Prospect or beyond with a reason and hard training, her body fully able to recall the rhythms, strikes, and more instinctively.
Range- CQC Other- She's extremely rusty so it will take time for her to get back into shape.
Alien
Telepathy: The virus that inhabits Rachelis’ body is able to share and communicate with her and others using Telepathy. It can project an image of its current chosen form, her father, into the outside world as long as she is conscious and aware. Beyond that, the organism hasn't shown any ability to affect the outside other than choose who will share its image and conversation with. So if it wanted to make her seem crazy, it is well within the being's ability to do so. Should any Telepathic being, magic, meta or others, attempt to read or influence Racheli’s mind (not senses) then they will be met by resistance due to the Alien’s paranoid nature. It would be like hitting a solid wall.
Range- Namely the farther away from Racheli, the weaker the power is. Other- This ability might adapt in the future or the virus’ image will likely evolve into something outside her father's image. Only time will tell.
Attributes (Select one at each category):
Strength Level: Normal Human-10 tons
Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal Human- 20 MPH.
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 3 hours.
Agility: Normal Human- 5x human rate.
Intelligence: Average
Fighting Skill: Untrained (Rusty if you count boxing)
Resources: Minimal
Nothing since the Riots.
Weaknesses:
Still Flawed
Despite her abilities and physical changes, she's just as killable as normal human when you get past her meta human abilities. Gene Co has created a serum that can temporarily disable her meta abilities, possibly others (varies), by targeting the source at a genetic level and shutting the genes off. Other ways to temporarily disable is through high power neuro-toxins when you manage to enter it into the bloodstream, attacking her mind (hacking it in a sense), electrical energies of high voltage, dividing her attention then catching her unaware (depends on narrative) or other abilities that null her meta powers.
Ashes to Ashes
The Alien’s DNA and structure has a weakness to light and heat when outside its host. It breaks down and evaporates when exposed to any non specialized light or heat of any type. When it bonded with Rach, the weakness to multiple sources of light was eliminated. The only ones that remain are sources like UV which can get past the skin barrier and into the body. These are found within items like black lights so she likely won’t be visiting any nightclubs without protection. Heat is the primary and most effective weakness, namely above 120 degrees or higher can make her almost completely human save for the black blood and colder body temperature. Direct heat is even worse since it can hurt her and prevent her regeneration from taking full effect, bring her down to her knees with little effect.
Other Characters:
Will add as the RP goes on, though here's a few.
Support
~Garret Shepherd: A friend from the other side of Maine and he was the one that set up Racheli's living arrangements, suggested this crazy idea as he contacted his cousin. Though Racheli was bitter about the help , she saw no other option and she was forced into the arrangement. Even agreed to keep an eye on her future roommate for him.
Allies/Associates
~Gabriel Cole (Icarus): A superhero that wears a machine suit with some serious heat, which sadly wrecked their apartment leaving Justine and herself homeless for a time. Despite the aftermath, he was critical in getting Racheli to the CDC and finally saving her life by aiding in her mind to sync up with the virus. Even after the chore, she has grown to trust him slowly and while she will fight alongside him, Rach is still wary of fully trusting him.
~Justine Shepherd (Myth): Garret’s cousin and her current roomie before the apartment incident, thankfully she got out safely. Rach feels a deep attachment and loyalty to the woman, despite the fact they only met a few months ago. Out of everyone, it’s her and Gabe that Rach will trust the most through this bond is still fragile enough to be broken by misunderstandings.
~Jaden Maxwell (Evergreen): One of the heroes that aided with her rescue, through she only met him briefly. Personally he seems to be a cross dressing, plant manipulator with a distinct like for dresses and exotic designs. He looked like an overgrown pokemon to her.
~Jacob Parkman (Hydro): Another hero that aided with her rescue, through last time she saw he was pretty weak and nearly a puddle of water from her rescue mission. It seems he knew and worked with Gabe over his own condition but had little results in finding a cure. This is as much as she knows about since she was still recovering.
Rogue Gallery
~Odette (The Ambassador): An annoy individual, possibly a fey, who Rach personally has a grudge against since the woman both helped capture and nearly tore out her damn tongue. If they were ever to cross paths it is unlikely Rach would both with control when it came to going full out and beating the woman in combat.
~Lekh Antol (Silence): Another responsible for her catch from the van, her mind hazy over his abilities and face when she tries to recall him. It’s like his face is static over from inference of an outside force. She does recall her abilities weren’t working correctly when she tried to fight back but she’s not fully sure if it was because she was weakened or if he had some meta power that influence it in some way, something she doesn’t know if she wants to fully know should they ever meet again.
~? (The Cowl): It seemed the very one who arranged her capture and the biggest asshole she would love to wrangle the neck of. Despite him being human, his cleverness and preparation was enough to stop her from fighting back while they waited for someone to collect her. She discovered his alias was the Cowl and she intends to discover whatever she can over him the next time she’s in Lost Haven, slowly tearing apart his self made profits and organization in the process.
~Gene Co: Rach knows that this nation wide corporation was behind her abduction, namely since they likely wanted to reclaim their virus but she can’t draw any connections or proof to their dirty dealings. OR the very individual fixed on her recapture. So far they have made her life hellish with that warrant for her arrest forcing her to parade around in a mask and costume like the other supers.
Other
~Puck: A demon that made a ‘prediction’ she questions to this day. ~War Pulse: At the moment, he's a cocky SoB that was hired to recapture her. She's still sore about the conflict just outside of Chinatown and hopes never to see his face again.
Character you have created: Benjamin Ethan Reeves Alias: These are usually given by others. School: Spoiled Rich Brat, Ben While in werewolf form: Mutt, Huge Ass Dog, Stray, and a few other choices and lame namesakes thanks to the ignorant people of New York’s lesser educated. Speech Color (Actually say what you're using): Chocolate Character Alignment: Hero Identity: Secret Character Personality:
Benjamin’s personality is what someone would call a true Aries as he displays both the bad and good qualities that make up the zodiac sign. If anyone was a literal definition of the sign, it would be him.
To those he’s attached and chosen to become friends with, they will see his generous and enthusiastic nature. His optimism in a negative situation or setback is often shining bright even if it's not in the expected or chipper tone most people use. In addition to this, he’s got an independent streak when it comes to getting things done and when he wants to, finding excitement in seeing the completing of goals rather than meeting the end results. This often leaves him jumping from one project to another due to his impulsive nature, especially if the task shows little to no progress when it comes to feeding his satisfaction. It’s during that sensation that he’s most likely to drop it complete unless someone can redirect his attention and spark interest again.
When he is forced into a situation where he feels trapped or stuck, Ben becomes moody and short-tempered. His attitude often venting out on whoever, and sometimes whatever, is nearby. If it is built up longer enough, he has a habit of becoming violent on instinctive causing him to lash out should someone attempt to comfort him with touch. Often his words in these moments aren’t clearly thought out or the consequences considered, creating guilt and regret when Ben recalls these moments and especially when he’s reminded of them. Only his few true friends can understand and look pass these eruptive moments to stick him by.
Underneath the hard earned image he has chiseled out for himself, lays a heart that holds great courage. This bravery also feeds his impulsive nature and passion in what he does. That one trait can hurt him because he easily can become derailed from his goal or aid him in spur of the moment decisions, usually helping him to get over unexpected road bumps coming his way. His passion carries him through challenges to get things done, usually with the aim of completing them quickly as possible.
As mentioned before, he does have a generous nature. However, it can and most the time does include himself when it comes to the thought. It’s an ingrain habit that he usually thinks about his friend’s influences on him, his happiness and in what ways. When a problem arises connected to them in any form, he’ll usually push to confront them or make his attempt to solve the issue behind their back. Either way, he doesn’t come off well and it often ends up in an aggressive and moody fight, one that will test or break his friendships.
Uniform/costume:
Special thanks to both Vatrou for the birthday commission and for Splatpixel on doing such a wonderful job on him.
The bad thing about being a werewolf is when he shifts. It tends to shred everything. That makes it pretty much impossible to wear any attire when Benjamin goes completely wolf as the thing ends up becoming nothing more than rags at the end of the day. Nothing he has tried has shown to be able to conform and meld with his physical shape, not even the fashion retardness of spandex.
So, he has decided it was just better to go all wolf and use that to hide his identity. Most people would assume he was stray canine if they ever saw him, despite his much larger size when hunched down on all fours.
When fully wolfed out, Benjamin's height grows to about 6’2” giving him a looming appearance against the average man. His natural fur is a tarnish blonde with a white underbelly, under jaw, chest, and lower limbs. For most people, when he’s hunched down on all four, he looks like a rather large dog. He reaches about the waist of the average man in this position.
Like many newly turned werewolves, his eyes are an almost electrical blue and in the following months will edge to a golden yellow. Black outlines his wolfen eyes and give off an almost human sensation to them. His hand are a cross between human and wolf, there being four finger digits and one thumb with thick pads on the inside hand. There’s two sets along the finger digits, one on the thumb tip and about three on the main hand.

Bio
Benjamin, or Ben as he’s often called by his peers, is the iconic rich boy. The boy with money, good looks and almost everything any teenager could ever want. When the public, from the media to his school mates, look at him they see a kid that never had to work a hard day in his life to earn what he wanted or felt the sense of failure gripping his soul. For the most part, they would be right. He is spoiled and has high tastes in quality and expectations, through he has known loss unlike those whose lives were completely and utterly perfect.
Being the single child of the New York District Attorney and an art director for the NYC museum for fine arts, Ben grew up in Bayside, Queens all his privileged life and goes to the private academy called McArthur Academy for Higher Education. There he was the popular kid that everyone seemed to want to be. The boy without a care or worry, ready to take risks to get what he wanted as he saw the thrill of the chase being the best part. Through this was the outside mask he often displayed to the outside world. If they would peel back the layers of his family dynamic and see the truth: the grass was rarely greener on the other side.
It was a cold, December day when the wreck happened changing his life from its near perfection to a tragic roller coaster of emotion. His grandparents on his mother’s side had come to New York to spend the holidays and to see his first piano recital, his mother driving them all -save for his father- to the school. It was terrible weather where icy winds whipped through the towering buildings and hurt visibility for most drivers. A drunk man at the wheel of a semi-truck collided head on and crushed their little car, the truck’s front literally parked on the hood where most the occupants were killed instantly. Rosalie, his mother, was the only survivor.
She was his foundation. Being the primary parent in his life, Ben was at lost for words upon seeing his mother in a death like coma shortly after the accident. So lost in his own pain, he barely recalled the press trying to push in for snapshots of him sitting, depressed and holding her lifeless hand. Or the fact his father’s hand rested on his shoulder during it. Their image was placed on the newscast for weeks that followed, the tragic story about her grief stricken husband running for the DA office and loving son Benjamin Reeves. It was a nightmare for the boy while he tolerated the interviews, lurking media and worse.
It was a month later when they finally ceased. On the second month, Daniel Reeves decided it was time to let his wife move on to greener pastures. He ordered the treatment on his wife stopped and the tubes taken out. The doctors recorded her death three hours later when they rolled her to the morgue, storing her for the funeral a week later. It was a mournful moment for Ben as he was never be allowed to say good bye, denied by his own father, still a stranger claiming to be a parent on legal paper, since he was away at school trying to learn how to move on. Any respect he held for his father was gone that day.
Barely a year passed before he watched his mother become replaced by some whorish slut named Lorrie Hart, a woman about a decade younger than his father.
At first, things were fine since his father allowed Ben his independent streak and enabled them to avoid each other most the time. In the spotlight, they had the ideal father-son relationship. What the media wouldn’t pay to discover it was all an act he often mused.
It was about two years and a month when his father finally become engaged to the Ms. Hart, though Ben suspected it was to gain a bigger political vote for his future position into the Mayor’s office. Not that it would surprise him. The moment the woman came into his father’s household, things rapidly changed. At first, her methods were subtle. She wanted to be his friend and get to know him better, his father rarely mentioned the boy to her, as she sought to be get cozy. It rubbed him wrong causing his moodiness and aggression to butt heads with her.
A week passed and she was already working on manipulating his father. His mother’s presence, her things and little trinkets that gave him comfort, were starting to be removed from the house. When she caught him trying to move his mother’s old jewelry box down into his room, Lorrie confronted him. Since then she’s stalked his movements, began to take away his freedom and gradually had him moved down into the basement where he often found she locked him in there at night.
He hasn’t any idea what she’s planning but he’s got a bad feeling about it.
Hero Type (Select one): Supernatural- American Werewolf subspecies.
Power Level (Select one below): Street/City Level
Powers (Be Specific): Being a werewolf, Ben has two modes he can flip from at will when he learns how to. When he is completely human, he looks like a normal teenage with limited healing rate and enhanced senses. The anthro mode is described in the costume section while his human form is in the Original Details/Origins section.
In human mode, Benjamin’s senses are the only thing that is above normal. These are the primary sense used most but not the only ones enhanced.
~Sight: Ben’s eyesight is unique mixture of human and wolf qualities, giving him the perks of both and covering each other’s weakness. From the wolf side of sight, he has have excellent day and night vision and far sharper than a human’s, enhanced by hyper sensitive to motion within the range. The distance range limit is about 1000 feet, slightly shorter than a human but his other senses quickly make up for that weakness.
~Hearing: Because Ben is a werewolf, he can hear between 25 khz to up at least 80 khz and within 6 to 10 miles depending on the geography lay out. The more crowded by objects like a city then the less miles he gains. However, due to his sensitive ears, the higher pitches like a dog whistle will distract and hurt his ears usually crippling him until the source is stop.
~Scent: Ben’s sense of scent is extremely strong compared to a human and even most canines, detailing information about an individual’s condition, their past whereabouts, gender and other needed to know information. About a hundred times stronger, in favorable conditions he can sniff out his prey about 1.75 miles from his location and stalk it a fair distance.
As the IC goes on, Ben will develop the ability to sniff out magical items, places, etc but his range doesn't change. The more powerful the effect, though he doesn't have complete details, the higher the hairs on his hunches will raise in alarm and his instincts will be wary. Ben can't stop magic, like traps, from going off but he can (when he builds it up) use it to avoid them completely.
Human His healing rate is about double of his original healing, enabling him to heal in half the time it would take normal humans. However, he is unable to regenerate limbs, survive impact into the brain or any usually fatal hits.
Wolf When in wolf form, his healing factor is about 3-4 times higher than a normal, healthy human. This enables him to take a beating that would cripple most living or kill normal beings, his body still able to move and keep fighting until his last breath. Greater the wound, the more time it takes to heal it.
When in wolf form, Ben has the ability to communicate to others with his mind and merely by looking at them. As long as he retains eye contact and focus on the individual he can project emotions, images (usually chaotic), and sensation of another’s presence inside the mind of the target with ease. Unless one is a wolf or is comfortable with him, they will often find this uncomfortable since the projected throughs aren’t exactly words or their own emotions. When eye contact is broken so is the link, the sensation of the telepathy fading almost instantly.
All big, bad wolves have teeth and Ben is no exception. Unlike the traditional werewolves who have long, feline like claws made for cutting and slicing, his hand and feet paws are made more to act like track shoes giving him excellent ability to turn nearly on a dime without falling on his furry ass. When his teeth break, they can regrow much like a shark can replace his and within a short period in a fight.
Ben also has extreme pressure behind his jaws making it difficult rip him off should you let him get a grip. It’s almost supernatural in some ways when coupled with his regeneration ability it would be a challenge in getting him off.
Skills Learned Computer Software/Hacking (adept) Hot wiring vehicles (novice) Parkour (novice in human form) Lying (highly skilled) Dirt bike/stunt ability (highly skilled) Piano (highly skilled but rusty)
Attributes (Select one at each category): All these are while Ben is in wolf form.
Strength Level:Without stress he can lift up to 5 tons, but pushed to the limit he can lift up to 10 though he risks snapping something. Speed/Reaction Timing Level:
With training speed Ben’s is about 5x faster than humans, making time slow slightly and enables quicker acknowledgement to the threats. However being able to dodge or count them is another matter. Presently, since he's untrained, his reaction is only 2x faster.
When it comes to his speed, in a trot he can reach up to 5 mph and causally cover wide areas of ground in a single day without rest. When in a flat out run he can reach up to 25 mph, with a few bursts of 45 mph for 1-2 minutes, before he nears exhaustion and risk collapsing.
Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort:
In a steady, easily going trot Ben can cover miles in a day’s time before he needs to rest.
During non-stop and stressful activity, his endurance lasts about 3-4 hours without any sort of break or rest. However afterwards he will collapse from complete exhaustion and feel ravenous, reverting back to human. When full out pushing, he would last up to 2 hours.
Agility: 2x that of a normal human, usually when in a flat out run such as rushing over objects like trash cans, buildings, etc or people. Intelligence: Smart for his age, but not a genius level individual. Underestimate him at your own peril. Fighting Skill: Untrained
Resources: Small
Being a kid, he’s got his own things from high tech computer to his own car (BMW 5 Series). However he doesn’t have a source of income other than what his father allows within a bank account on a weekly basis. Meaning while he has a lot of cash to burn, there’s still a limit and if he’s not careful his funds could dry up quickly forcing him to ask his father for more. A matter he rather avoid.
Weaknesses:
Being a breed of werewolf, there are ways to counter this ability. It also works in his both forms but in different ways, his human form being the most vulnerable to the substances. Strangely enough, Ben is unable to detect them with his sense of smell and it could be related to it being his breed’s weakness toward it.
Silver: Most werewolves are allergic to silver, through fortunately for Ben’s breed isn’t not fatal on instant contact and would take large amounts to become it. In his human form it causes severe allergic reactions such as swelling on the location where the metal comes into contact. If injected/ingested, it could cause his throat to swell shut and breathing to be impossible unless an adrenaline is injected into his system boosting his immunity which will open his airways.
In his wolf form, this can easily paralyze and slow Ben’s healing rate, but the purity of the metal determines the healing power and time it lasts. The more pure the silver is, the longer the effects last and sooner it takes effect. Pure silver can take effect within at least a minute depending on Ben’s condition.
For any reason, should pure, liquified silver get into his blood system (digestion or something) when a wolf then it will paralyze Ben up to a day. Large amounts will kill him, such as a quarter of a pint or more, unless it’s purged from his system quickly and in about 3-4 hours.
Wolfsbane- herb: A weak smelling herb that is a strong and slow poison. It’s believed to be so lethal to a werewolf that a tablespoon worth sprinkled inside a bullet and shot into the target will kill even an alpha in half a day’s time. Any smaller amount will only cripple the wolf for several days, making them helpless and feeling like they wish they were dead. It can be cured through magical/unnatural means or even when a werewolf is laid out under a full moon, allowed to undergo extreme transformation thanks to the moon’s radiation.
Full Moon- Every American werewolf must answer the call of the moon as its radiation fills them with an immerse and sudden surge of energy, their bodies unable to contain their wolf forms while underneath its pale light. New wolves have the hardest time since their animalistic side is most frenzied and frighten during this time so many newly made wolves depend on their pack mates to keep them from injuring themselves during this period. After a few moons (6 moons), the eyes turn a yellow declaring them an adult.
It’s unknown why, but when someone is bitten beneath a full moon they have a percent of becoming werewolf depending on the species of werewolf.
New Werewolf Syndrome (NWS): When a human is turned into a werewolf, they develop something called new werewolf syndrome which happens with all newly turned. Changes are unpredictable as they aren't just affected by the moon and decision, but emotion as well. This factor is worsened by the fact all newly turned wolves became moody for about six months and will taper off when they reach adulthood.

Job: Trophy Wife Relationship Strength: Weak, Ben actually hates her due to her manipulative and controlling behavior.
Deceased
Anthony Reeves-56……...Grandfather Sophia Reeves(surname: Morris)-59……...Grandmother Rosalie Reeves (surname Snyder)-32……...Mother
Additional details: Mother was in a coma for about a week, then taken off where she died about five hours later. It was a slim chance she would’ve made it without any permanent brain damage or would’ve been the same before the accident so Benjamin's father believed this was a mercy for his wife’s spirit. However, Benjamin secretly blames himself for her death and has bitterness toward his father for allowing her to be taken off the machines without his knowledge, denying him his last goodbye.
Friends
Benjamin doesn’t have any close friends, their only reasons to associate to him are self gain and manipulation reasons. Usually because their parents are hoping to have an excuse to get close to his father. Little do the ‘click’ he usually hangs around with know, he’s actually using them so he’s not lonely.
Desmond Hargraves - Closest to a best friend, his father is an assistant attorney working with Ben’s dad. Alyssa Kinser- Roland’s girlfriend and rather prissy sob, her mother owns numbers of shares in companies like Midas Industries and other organizations. Ben hates her guts and the feeling is mutual. Nathan Giavonna & Bradley Giavonna- The swim team twins and part of his click, through they are more numbskulls than any interesting company. Emma Gracia- House Keeper.
Major NPCs
First Name: Zachary Last Name: Memphis Sex: Male Age: 35 Speech Color: #fff68f Identity: To public- unknown, Agency- 0120 Summary:
An aging member of the Agency, Zachary wasn’t too pleased to learn he was assigned to babysit a newborn werewolf and his playmates. However, he also knew bitching wouldn’t get him very far when it came to orders and accepted his new assignment begrudgingly. Most often his dress consists of tailored trousers, waist vest buttoned down from chest to waist, black tie, over jacket and white undershirt. Rarely will he wear simple shirt and pants with a tie, but never jeans despite most of the population donning them. Through his outfit gives him an important allure, there’s a traits that lack refinement. A most noted distinct scent produced by self made cigarettes wafts around him, product from the fact he regularly smokes to feed his nicotine addiction. He grows out his wavy, orange-red hair and keeps it loose where it flows about his shoulders, the dead ends trimmed off to keep a healthy look. The bangs are pulled back behind his ear to prevent it from getting in his brown eyes. A well kept goatee frames his narrow lips which usually has a smoke peering out of it.
He gives an air of laziness and easy going, despite his experience. Few things ever get under skin as he lets things from insults to cocky displays go unanswered when he isn’t interested in picking that particular fight. However, when something or someone threatens to make his assignment difficult, his personality shifts into a more business like demeanour. He seems focused and more aggressive, some would say even dangerous when it comes to completing his given assignment.
History: Classified (TBA later as IC progresses) Hero Type: Energy/Inventor Power Level: min- Street (common) … max-City (rare) Magic/Abilities:
Light Manipulation
Illusions Casting Time: 2-3 seconds ( 1 to gather surrounding light then 1-2 to apply the manipulation) Range: 12 meters of an area radius (a complete sphere with himself at the center) Duration: 30 minutes max per illusion casted, depending on the complexity Description: Being able to manipulate light has its perks, namely in tricking the eyes of those who are about to witness what they shouldn’t really see or avoiding conflict. He can create numerous things from creatures of nightmares to a normal scene, hiding in plain sight the supernatural world he is swore to protect mankind from. None of his fabricated images are actually solid and so will not affect any other sense than vision on the target it is made to fool, remaining until Zachary actually drops it or the time limit runs out. The more complicated the scene then the less time it would actually last and it’s impossible to spread it beyond the limited 12 meter sphere.
Invisibility Casting Time: 3-9 seconds ( additional seconds if he’s applying it to up to two other individuals) Range: Single individual Duration: 10 minutes per individual outside combat, 1 minute within combat Description: With the ability to manipulate light, Zachary has learned to shift it where light bends around him and make him invisible to the naked eye. Zachary uses this skill primarily to avoid conflict or sneak into places he shouldn’t tread namely as it could be detected by senses of touch, sound, smell and can’t hide heat signals radiating from his body. When hit, this ability can fail and end before the time is up but the catch is they need to locate him first.
Solar Blasts Casting Time: 3-6 seconds Range: up to 12+ meters, with penalty Duration: 10 seconds-1 minute Description: Zachary creates a focused solar energy source, able to explode on contact or with a predetermined timer. When predetermined to be on a timer, the glow is low and more like a glow stick than a bright light. The size of the ball determines its explosive impact against a target ranging from a small firecracker (jawbreaker size) to a skyscraper collapsing boom (tennis ball).
Solar Flare Casting Time: 4 seconds Range: 10 meters Duration: 12 seconds Description: Zachary creates and focuses an intense light in his palm, feeding it as it grows gradually brighter with time. At its release, it is intending to temporarily blind opponents who look within it and for any light sensitive creatures it could very well burn them. The drawback is that the ability needs a recharge period and uses most of his solar reserves, needing time to rebuild. This prevents him from using his Solar Blasts for up to 12 (two posts) seconds during combat.
Attributes:
Strength Level: Normal Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Normal Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Normal Human Agility: Normal Human Intelligence: Unknown Fighting Skill: Trained in multiple martial arts and various ways, through he seems too lazy to use them effectively until his hand is forced. Fighting Style: Zachary rather avoid conflict but when push comes to shove, his training lies in martial arts such as Kali to Wing Chun. He even knows a bit of Krav Maga.
Resources: Large (Agency) Weaknesses:
Human
Zachary is squishy no matter how you dice it. He doesn't have super strength, durability or anything beyond the ability to manipulate light. This is the primary reason he doesn't like confrontation since if he takes too much damage, he could be put up for a long time or even die.
No Light, No Go
In order to manipulate light, you obviously need light. Primarily Zachary uses the solar energy his body collects and his surroundings, the prior having a fixed reserved when the latter is scarce. In a place of complete darkness, he is at a disadvantage and if he's not careful can be left helpless when his reserves runs dry. Naturally, unless it's a full moon, night is when he is at his weakest due to the lack of light sources to manipulate.
Character you have created:The Broker Alias:None. A demon such as need no alias. Speech Color :#F62217 (Ruby) Character Alignment: Neutral Evil Identity: The Broker, He Who Deals, Greed Incarnate Character Personality: In the circle of greed, you can only survive as consummate professional and utter bastard. The Broker is a healthy dose of both these things. With the added benefit of being a complete monster. He is a demon after all, spawned from the greed of mankind. He is known to be obsessively greedy and finnicky with his actions. He has little to no morals, but doesn't so much enjoy killing then he is indifferent to it. He is without a doubt, evil. He would light a toddler on fire if the thought it would benefit him.
Uniform/costume: When in his “human” form, broker is a 6’2 tall vaguely middle eastern man with a bright, red mane of hair. He dresses in business casual at all time and his eyes are the color of blood. He is handsome, with just a hint of uncanny valley going on. He is almost to impeccable, and staring at him for to long as a mortal, nonmagic user, can wierd you out.
In his demon form, he is 7’2’’ tall, with large curved horns. His skin is a subdued red color and his eyes are fields of white that glow with power. He generally dresses in robes similair to that of a rich mans bathrobe.
Origin Info/Details: When the very first man committed a sin, Hell began to make plans for mankind. Hell was constructed to house those who fell, and their souls were added to the furnace that burns eternal. Eventually, mans sin became to big to contain, and like any good housing project, more rings were added. Sometime in the past, one of these rings were visited upon the malice of greed and Broker was formed. The broker was not a fallen angel, he did not hold heaven in contempt. He was a new breed, a carnal sin made flesh. He cared only for those who shared his sin, and could feed his desires. He rose from hell to seek out the first crusaders that reached Jerusalem. There he convinced Templar and Muslim holy warriors alike to give their soul to him in return for information, weapons and power.
It was only the first of many conflicts where he would show up to claim the souls of the corrupt and desperate. He visited magicians across the globe, offered power in return for their smallest, least significant trinkets. Trinkets he infused and turned into objects of power. These artifact then found their way back into mortal hands and started wars and enabled atrocities. He was the one to urge the betrayal of Ceasar. His presence were felt everywhere politcs crossed with blood.
His power grew steadily and soon he was managing a network of wicked men and women who owed him everything. He would soon become bored with hoarding earthly riches and souls. He began hoarding knowledge instead, began lending his power directly to warlords and magis. He observed with morbid curiosity as men to foolish to understand his being, killed humans by the dozen trough spells. But With the dawn of the very first super hero, he saw a new world open before him. With the dawn of the superhuman and alien, there was suddenly new stimuli to pursue. And as a creature who always had his finger on the pulse, the Broker now walks earth, finding and realizing the potential in budding supervillains everywhere.

He has more magical artifacts at his fingertips then the most collectors see in their entire life. In short, the Greed demon is filthy rich and influential, as Is his ambition. Weaknesses: He is a demon. Holy magic tend to be effective. Blessed weapons and such is a very useful tool. Technically, a proper exorcist may banish him back to hell in a bind. But he’ll be back and annoyed.

”The Office. Secret Lair of The Broker. Possibly Hell. Somewhere between doom and damnation, 5:30
”And they showed such potential..” The Broker stared at the newpaper in his hands. While front page had Captain Ultra beating down Capitol Punishment with the arm of some russian knock-off robot, that particular article didn't interest him much. Capitol was a hardy, old school kind of villain. He'd be back up swinging in no time. The same could not be said for the group of fledgling villains he had assigned the simple task of robbing a shitty little bank office. Of the original crew, only one had made it to out properly. Tim, a local genius type; Vengeful, unsure of himself, chip on his shoulder. Bright kid. The other were either incarcerated or dead. Well. Atleast the crazy irish fellow would be out in no time. HIs little head to head with the super hero Bastille had impressed the Leper. So he would likely break the man out. Bastille who had fought them while still on fire. He had been almost to much for them to handle in the end. In fact, the entire thing had been a disaster. Broker looked at the article that was taking up the middle spread. At least they generated some buzz. There were going to be a few B-Lister in desperate need for muscle.
”Robbery turned Massacre. 10 dead as failed robbery attempt end up in shoot out.” The article said. He scoffed as he scanned for relevant details. ”Four suspects have been apprehended, and two have been accounted for as dead. Three or more may have escaped in the chaos. Exact identities of these are unknown. Police hope hearings will yield more results.” Broker scoffed again and made the paper in his hand dissolve into flames and ash. He rose from his elaborate and no doubt expensive chair as he surveyed the room. Several workbenches and office chairs were strewn about, each surface cluttered with binders, books or stacks of papers. Computers from all kinds of time periods were neatly in a row along one wall. Broker grabbed a few of the papers and binders, seemingly at random, and started to rummage.
”You... And You... And you.” He mumbled. ”You to. And you. Oh. A monster? You for sure” He continued like this for a while longer before returning his desk were a phone had suddenly appeared. He picked it up and spoke. ”Lucida dear, could you send out a envelope to these... Fortunate ones?” There was pause as a giggle could be heard from the other end. ”No. You deliver them. I am afraid that if I showed up in person so soon they would think I favored them or something. Yes. That will be fine.” He killed the call and looked over the papers again. ”So much high tech and alien nonsense. I miss the days where most guys relied on magic and gimmicky spells...” He mumbled as he leafed trough it. ”I swear these names are getting sillier and sillier. I miss the days of Clobber and Disaster Master. Thug? Where is the pizaz in that!? I swear I should hire them a PR agent...”
Putting the folders down, He carefully withdrew a key made out of human finger bones out of his vest pocket. He spun it around his finger as he punched another number into ancient excuse for a phone on his desk. Barely a signal passed before someone picked up the phone on the other side. Brokers smile grew into a wide grin, a myriad of teeth both sharp and narrow like needles glimmered.
Character you have created: Johan “Rune” Falk Alias: Runes. The Wandering Hand. The Kings Consort Speech Color (Actually say what you're using): #99ebff Character Alignment:Hero Identity: Johan Falk Character Personality: Johan is a straight shooter at heart. He will not bullshit you if he doesn’t have to. He doesn’t make excuses, and he does not waver in his conviction. He is a gentle soul however, he just hides it behind a gruff, cynical shell. He carries tremendous pain from his failures, and is often forced to take solace in the company of others. His relationship with Nêuvan is a fickle one, as the King is not mortal and do perceive things the way a human does. While his love for Johan is real, it is not monogamous and it leaves Johan to seek company elsewhere.
Uniform/costume:
Johan dresses casual at all time. He wears what is sturdy and comfy, but always put on his black wool coot regardless of the weather. His beard is magnificent, his eyes the coldest blue. He looks like a modern day Viking in pretty much every regard aside his clothing.
Origin Info/Details: A archeologist with personal demons and a list of tragedies behind him, Johan was consumed by his work. He was on the heels of a great discovery that so far had cost him everything. He had found evidence of the Vikings coming in contact with something otherwordly. To Johan who was one of the few who still believed in the Aesir, this was the confirmation he craved. In his research, he stumbled upon the art of Runemagic and found it not only fascinating but actually usefull. He began experimenting, using runes to draw upon arcane magic, like those priests of old. In his research, he came across the next clue to the Vikings mysterius ally.
His travels took him from Uppsala in Sweden, to the Northern most point of the Norwegian mountains. There he discovered a old abandoned temple not alike anything else he ever encountered. Instead of being dedicated to Odin, Thor or similair, it seemed to dedicated to something else entirely. Its insides were rimmed with permafrost, it's floor was smooth and carved out of the very mountain itself.
There he found a lone Runestone, larger then any he ever seen. And before lay what looked like a giant human skull. He had found a temple dedicated to the Joten. The Giants of Frost. Shocked by his discovery, he didn't know the earie glow of the walls around him. As he left in a hurry to report his findings, something stirred deeper inside the temple.
Outside a blizzard had arrived seemingly out of nowhere and it stranded the young archeologist. That's when he first heard it. The sound of a giant. Turning around, he stood face to knee with a massive humanoid. To this day he have no idea how he survived. Somehow, the runes he had sewn into his coat flared up with power from being in proximity of one of the old enemies of all Aesir. The battle was drawn out, the Giant toying with him. But in a bout of desperation he carved the rune for might into his palms. Saying the words of power to open the rune to the arcane stream, he was filled with power beyond comprehension. He slayed the giant somehow, he was to drunk on power to remember. But the giant had no arrived alone. The Joten came as massive, lumbering shadows within the blizzar. Their eyes full of cold, gleefull murder. In fear for his life he ran back inside the temple, only to find a secret entrence had opened. Having no choice but to go down the dark and unknown, he came upon a meadow and another world entirely. In it stood a creature so beutyfull he almost wept.
IT was the King of Elves, who had followed his exploits. He offered the young man clemency and education in the art of rune magic. In turn, he asked only that the human would follow him to his palace, and be loyal to him. In time, this loyalty became reverence and respect, which turned into a spark of mutual love. Over the course of ten years, Johan became a runemage of skill and reputation. He was also spoken about in hushed tones as the "Mortal lover" of their beloved king. Envy drove more then one challenger to Johans doorstep, and he bested them all. His prowess would net him the title "Kings Champion" and he began to represent the King outside the palace.
The day came where his King grew more distant, being a fickle creature. After it became to much to bare, Johan asked to be returned to his own realm. He was allowed passage home on the condition that he remained the Kings Champion, and became his Voice to the expatriats who chose to live amongst mortals instead of their fellow kin.
Hero Type (Select one):(Supernatural) Magician Power Level (Select one below): City/World Powers (Be Specific):
Runemage; Being a runemage, he draws upon the power of the Arcane Stream trough talismans and words of power. His body is a conduit for his magic thanks the runes carved into his back. Trough them he can tap and fill whatever runic binding he has in hand. Notably his spear; Jutenbane and his coat.
Kings Voice; A gift given to him by Neuvean. When he speak elvish, he can compel creatures bound to his Kings realm to comply and follow his orders.
Magical Coat: His coat is embroidered from top to toe with runes. Due to the overspill of his magic, the coat is always at least a little charged. Fully powered, it protects him passively from any scrying, targeted spells and the like. At low power, it simply muddles those who try to divine his location.
Jutenbane A enchanted spear that can allegedly pierce any armor, veil or protection when “powered up”.
Runic Might During moments of extreme danger, Rune has the ability to draw upon the stream to a dangerous extent. He becomes superboosted and all his magic is increased thusandfold. In this state he becomes one of the most powerfull magicians in all the realms. Sadly, he can only maintain it for less then 15 minutes before the magic would consume his body. Just pushing ten minutes of it is enough to leave him comatose for a day.
Attributes (Select one at each category):
Strength Level: Human Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Human Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: Agility:Human Intelligence: High, still human Fighting Skill: He can put up a decent fight with his spear, due to his time with the Northern Fae. But there are many better fighters out there. He relies on his magic rather then anything more brutish.
Resources: Extensive. Being the lover and chosen Champion of the King of All Elves has it’s perks. Weaknesses: For all intents and purposes, he is human. Supporting:
Loiusa Falk; His younger sister. Firey, angry and the best cook he ever met.
Nêuvean Winterborn, The King of All Elves: The king of Alfheim rules the Nordic contingent of elves, and hold domain of pretty much all of Scandinavias’s trolls, elves, gnomes and other such creatures. He is the one who saved Rune from death, and who has protected and cared for him as the former grew acclimated. The two are lovers, a bond that persist even as Johan Traverse the mortal realm.
Josephine Hildebrand; A rival magician who detest Johan for taking “shortcuts” and becoming the Kings consort. Hildebrand herself is a necromancer, and a good one at that. She isn’t evil, but her position as a mage for hire makes her a far cry from being “Good”. Humir; The prince’s exiled brother. Despises humanity as a whole, despises Rune in particular.

Josie gonna be smashing bad peoples faces in. She also need to come up with a cooler name.
Character you have created: Josie Kaya Alias: Cabbie (Untill she can come up with something better.) Speech Color (Actually say what you're using): #6660CC Character Alignment: Identity: Character Personality: Josie is of mix heritage and have scrapped her entire life as the result of facing down disapproving voices from both sides of her linage. Not to mention dealing with the system that is very much stacked agqinst her. She comes from the roughest parts of ”Little Thailand” a small part just outside of china town. Her grit is second to none, and her discipline would give drill sarge run for his money. She likes to toss down a cold one and relax around friends, but will go into fight or flight the second you corner her about her past.
In a fight, she is a terror. She is ruthless and violent to the point of crippling people with her bare hands. she fights dirty and she fights efficiently.
Uniform/costume: Josie does't wear anything special for her ”vigilante duty”. She ties a scarf around her face to hide it but it usually slips off. She wears army fatigues and varius sturdy articles of clothing. Generally, you will see her dressed in some sort of faux-military get up. Her preference lay with vests and tank tops.
Origin Info/Details: Josie Kaya was born to a Thai father and Chilean mother. She was born into a poor household as the only child. Her parents lived in Little Thailand, a mainly thai set of neigbourhoods that exist on the outskirts of china town. The place always had trouble with the local teen gangs stirring up trouble. But they did seem to keep out the far worse alternative; The Triads. Being close to the China Town district, there were the occasional gangsters trying to move in. But the gangs kept chasing them out. Josie ended up in one of these gangs. Being a girl, she had to scrap twice as hard as the boys, but she managed. She was all fire, and people began to call her ”Ray Josie” which meant Fierce Josie in Thai. But she knew the streets would claim her life and that she needed an out. Thai Boxing wasn't that way, as good as she was she lacked the discipline to train daily and several of the boys in her gang attended the gym she went to.
Her out became singing up for the army. As it turns out, she was a pretty good fit. Her sheer determination of not going back coupled with her talent for fighting made her a favorite to her superiors who constantly saw her outperform her peers, male and female. Her service record distinguished her as a good shot with a exceptional ability to keep calm in the worst of situations. She was fast tracked to special forces as her grit, determination nad ability all were second to none in her unit.
She spent 15 years fighting abroad. From her 20th birthday to right after her 35th. By the time she got home, she had spent 8 of those in special ops, doing wetwork and fighting behind enemy lines. She doesnt talk about it much, but there are tidbits in her now expunged record. She was in Laos when something happened to her. She came in contact with another plane of existence. She, like a shaman of old, drew upon the wisdom of her dead ancestors when she was about to be killed in a ambush.
She left the army shortly after that. Returning home to seek counsel from her father, who was a religious man. But there were nothing for her to return to. During the past 15 years, little Thailand had fallen to the Triads. The old gangs were gone, murdered all but for a few. Her father had died along her mother, having been trapped in the local shrine during a shoot out. A new Triad Leader had approached the neighborhood with a scorched earth mindet. Her home was in ruins. One that did survive however, was her old Thai Boxing teacher. A lady who it turned out, was also well versed and experienced in the supernatural. She explained that the Infinite Mother, the energy of the universe itself, had chosen her to be its vessel. Because she was like it, fire and bright. Just and tempered.
Under her tutelage, Josie learned to call upon the spirits more frequently and in more controlled circumstances. Josie also turned her cab, her sole possession left to her by her mother, into a shrine of sorts.
Hero Type (Select one): Hero (But toes the line with the sheer brutality of her actions) / Supernatural (Avatar of a 'god') Power Level (Select one below): Street/City Powers (Be Specific): The Mothers Flame; A mystical force that flows trough Josie at all time, The Mothers Flame is the manifestation of her anguish and the supposed godly mothers will to ease it. When She calls upon it, she is bestowed with supernatural power and abilties.
Third Eye; She is not the most apt at opening her third eye, it take meditation and alot of sitting still. But she can do it, and it allows her to see all things otherworldly for what they truly are.
Ancestral Possesion; Only possible when the flame is stoked so to speak. When her bond with the Mother diety is strong enough, spirits ride its cotails and enter her. She gains their knowledge and skills for a brief moment as a result.
Attributes:
Strength Level: 3xHuman (ancestral mode) Speed/Reaction Timing Level: Peak human. When in Ancestral mode 10xhuman Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 5xhuman (Ancestral Mode) Agility: Peak Human, when in Ancestral Mode she has 3xhuman Intelligence: She isn't a genius, but she got street smarts to spare. More a fighter then a thinker in the end. Fighting Skill: Trained CQC in the army. A exceptional Muy Thai fighter. Possess vast knowledge when it comes to firearms, urban warfare and stealth. When channeling her ancestors, she gains additional skills.
Resources: Practically none. She lives in her cab. Weaknesses: Even when possessed, she is only human. Anything that kills a human, kills her pretty much. Supporting Characters: Bak May: Her Mentor. 79 year old, former Thai Boxing Womens world champion. Born in Thai Land, came to the states to open a gym with her husband, who were her trainer at the time. Respected by pretty much everyone in Little Thailand. She is also extremely spiritual and have acted as Josies teacher in everything spiritual. Lou Holmes, Childhood friend. Lou isn't Thai, but lived in little Thailand with his father who worked as a mechanic. He is now Josies mechanic and keeps her cab running. Character you have created: Dr. Gabriel Cole Alias: Icarus
Speech Color: Teal
Character Alignment: Hero
Identity: Secret
Character Personality: Gabriel is determined to a fault- if he sets a goal for himself, he will run himself ragged trying to meet said goal, even to the exclusion of all else. In fact, Gabriel is often distracted by his various "projects," to the point where he might not even notice someone else is there. Gabriel is a shy, reserved, humble individual, who is generally uncomfortable being in the spotlight. Thus, his initial foray into heroism will be somewhat awkward, though his confidence will grow as his conviction in his cause grows stronger. Gabriel genuinely believes in using his powers for a greater purpose, and such conviction will begin to show as he gains experience in the field.
Uniform/Costume:
Picture this, but with more black, dark green, and teal, rather than greys and browns.
Origin Info/Details: Gabriel's life was already headed for greatness, much as the very idea made him uncomfortable. A genius in the fields of physics and engineering, Gabriel was on the fast track, with a double major already under his belt and a doctorate on the way, all at the tender age of 24. But even geniuses need downtime, and one night, as Gabriel participated in his favorite pastime of stargazing far outside the city limits, something happened that would change his life forever.
A strange, glowing green meteor struck outside of Lost Haven, close to where Gabriel was trying to relax. When he went to investigate, he found a dense sphere of black metal, cold to the touch despite its reentry, covered in glowing green lines. Soon after he came into contact with the sphere, it activated, seemingly attacking the young scientist, clinging and covering him completely, until... he woke up in his apartment the next morning. Dismissing the "hostile" sphere attack as a mere dream, he went off to his classes, but something had changed. Everything seemed... slower somehow. Answers to questions in fields he'd never studied came unbidden into his mind. He walked with a new, strange balance, his movements sharper, more precise. As the days went on, the sensations grew more pronounced, until Gabriel could no longer deny that something had happened to him that night.
Determined to find the cause of his strange transformation, Gabriel found a way to confront the source- the sphere itself. Over a long period of trial and error, Gabriel grew to be aware of a second presence in his mind, that of the sphere. It introduced itself as Phylactery Device 006, a device created to acquire knowledge of different civilizations and cultures by finding a host body from amongst whatever species it landed in, and experiencing the subject's life alongside them. As time went on, and Gabriel communicated further with the Phylactery- which he dubbed Daedalus- he was amazed at the sheer depth of the knowledge that the sphere had already acquired, though due to some unknown circumstances, it carried no knowledge of who had created it, or for what purpose beyond being a store of information.
Gabriel began to experiment with the new abilities that Daedalus granted him, creating many strange and wondrous things with the Device's assistance. Though most of his creations could only be used by him (for now), the sheer weight of the advances he had already discovered could change the world, spark a new age that would make the Industrial Revolution look like a grade school science project... were it not for the fact that he lived in Lost Haven. At the very heart of the new age of metahumans, both good and evil, Gabriel knew that, no matter what he created, no matter what gifts he gave to the world, he could not cause the change in the world he wished to see by simply expecting someone else to act. He would have to act, to be the example himself, not just for Lost Haven, but for all the world to see.
So beware, all those who use their power and influence to prey on the weak- Icarus is on the rise.
Power Level: ARTEFACT-01-03, World ARTEFACT-04 and above, Cosmic
Powers:
Phylactery Symbiosis- Gabriel is a half-organic, half-synthetic organism known as a Symbiote, the product of a human bonding to a Phylactery Device. The result is that the host's body- in this case, Gabriel- has been entirely converted into a highly advanced, incredibly malleable biometal. Such entities have complete control over every cell in their body, able to manipulate their physical form in myriad ways, forming weapons, armor, tools, even vehicles out of their own bodies. Gabriel's bond with Daedalus has granted Gabriel the following abilities:
Technopathy/Ferrokinesis- Gabriel has the ability to mentally control other metal and technology aside from the Phylactery Device.
Metabolic Override Protocols- Gabriel heals much faster by virtue of Daedalus repairing him from the inside out.
Plasma/Particle Manufacture- Gabriel can generate plasma or particle-based attacks at will.
Hex-Feather Modules- Gabriel has six floating devices that he can summon, shaped like elongated hexagons. The Modules have several functions, such as SENTRY (surrounds and protects Gabriel), BARRIER (creates a hexagonal shield that repels attacks), ARMOR (increases durability at the cost of maneuverability), ARTILLERY (optimized for heavy plasma attacks), SNIPER (optimized for long-range particle beam attacks), and more.
Flight- Gabriel is capable of self-sustained flight in ARTEFACT-01 and beyond.
Subspace Transfer- Gabriel can summon any components for his ARTEFACT modes through subspace gates to his location at will.
Enhanced Intellect- Gabriel was already intelligent, but Daedalus has expanded his knowledge and ability to process and retain information hundreds-fold. Gabriel can learn and process information at an incredibly accelerated rate, which has afforded him a mastery of the Phylactery Device unprecedented even by former hosts.
ARTEFACT Optimization Modes- Gabriel has devised several additional functions to the Phylactery Device, allowing him to expand his offensive and defensive capabilities far beyond what either Gabriel or Daedalus could do on their own. The ARTEFACT modes known are as follows:
ARTEFACT-01: ICARUS
Default ARTEFACT Mode. Gabriel sleeves into his armored form and activates the Hex-Feather Modules.
Activates Plasma/Particle Manufacture, Flight, and Subspace Transfer protocols. Amplifies Technopathic/Ferrokinetic and Mental Processing protocols.
Enables use of other ARTEFACT Modes.
ARTEFACT-02: LEGION
Gabriel has built a number of dummy ICARUS drones that he can summon and direct at will in this phase.
LEGION drones can be called from any location to Gabriel's side through Subspace Transfer.
LEGION drones have similar abilities to the main ICARUS unit, though they are not as powerful or durable. Still not to be trifled with.
Gabriel can expand his awareness through any or all of his active LEGION drones, giving him unparalleled battlefield control.
Severely damaged or otherwise incapacitated drones are returned to Gabriel's base of operations for repairs and re-fabrication.
ARTEFACT-03: CHARIOT
Summons and sleeves into an additional flight harness, resembling a massive six-winged draconic humanoid, which increases his capabilities far beyond default ICARUS capabilities.
Amplified "Heavy" Hex-Feather Modules available in this Mode, optimized for ARMOR, ARTILLERY, BARRIER, and SENTRY functions.
Heavy Hex-Feather Modules somewhat less responsive than default model, due to being optimized for more cumbersome functions.
Somewhat cumbersome on the ground- optimal for continued, sustained flight.
ARTEFACT-04: WRATH
Flash-fabrication of four additional arms (resulting in six total) for the purposes of load-bearing, combat maneuvers, and other such strategies.
Ability limiters disengaged, dramatically increasing power output and ARTEFACT functionality.
Dramatic increase to speed, strength, agility, and energy/plasma/particle manufacture capabilities.
Durability beyond ARMOR Hex-Feather function.
Limited Hex-Feather capabilities while ARTEFACT-04 is active.
Sustained use of ARTEFACT-04 can lead to strain or injury due to limiter disengage.
ARTEFACT-05: BEAST
...
.........
...........................
ERROR: No information available on function ARTEFACT-05: BEAST
Gabriel is loath to use any of Daedalus' functions aside from those offered by ARTEFACT-01, due to the severe risk of collateral damage and civilian casualties. Expect him to use higher functionality only in situations where such risks are greatly diminished or eliminated, or if the threat he faces is so great as to require it of him.
Gabriel's greatest weakness is his laboratory/factory/base of operations, known as The Forge. It is here that all of Gabriel's devices and components related to higher ARTEFACT functions are stored. It has only come to be due to a concentrated effort over the past year toward dedicating resources to the Daedalus nanites that were constructing The Forge. Were this location to be destroyed or otherwise compromised, it would be a crippling blow to Gabriel's effectiveness as a hero. Thankfully, its location is well-secured.
Gabriel also has a glaring weakness to magic, as he does not understand it well, nor can he use it himself.
Supporting Characters:
Racheli Desdemona- A newly-born Symbiote that Gabriel met during the Riots. Gabriel is helping her to control her newfound powers, one step at a time.
Justine Shepherd- A metahuman friend of Racheli's, Gabriel is assisting her in ensuring Rach's safety.
Evergreen- A metahuman that Gabriel encountered during the mission to rescue Racheli. Gabriel consults him on matters of arcane or magical nature.
The Ambassador- A villain of a magical nature with a serious grudge against Gabriel. The feeling is mutual.
Director Noah- A mysterious individual who has his eye on Gabriel for unknown purposes. Has yet to reveal himself in-story (CS soon to come)
More to be added depending on how the story progresses.

From the journal of Dr. Gabriel Cole
What an eventful year it's been. Graduated with honors, found a prestigious job at a good university, got an alien superweapon grafted to my cells. A banner year, in my opinion.
Heh. Daedalus always dislikes it when I call him a weapon. He says he only manufactures weapons, not that he is one. I'm inclined to agree, but it's more fun to rile him up sometimes. He's still too much of a machine for his own good.
I still find it a little odd that I've begun to think of him as... well, a him. When we first bonded together, he barely had a consciousness, let alone an identity that would, in his words, "accept a designation." Perhaps the program develops a personality as it maintains contact with another consciousness? I'll posit the theory to him later, though I don't think I'll get much of anywhere- he doesn't remember much about what created him or for what purpose. Enough to know what he is, but not why he is, if you will. Still, it couldn't hurt to try.
On another note, The Forge is finally running at full operational capacity. I've got a decent handle on all of the ARTEFACT modes, though I don't think I'll find anything too far beyond what ICARUS or, if necessary, LEGION are capable of. We'll just have to see, though. I didn't make 03 and 04 to sit there and look pretty. Or 05, for that matter, though that one needs... further testing, before I decide to field it. Even Daedalus isn't certain just what it is we've created in making it.
...I feel like I should be more afraid of what it is I'm doing. What it is I'm going to do. It's not every day that someone decides to be a superhero, though you wouldn't know it living here. Moreover, there are certain implications in my work that concern me greatly. It started when I was constructing 02, but it wasn't until 05 was almost finished that a thought hit me.
Once, my greatest wish was that one day, the world might know peace long enough for me to share this technology with the world. Right now, that's impractical, as most of what I've made is... weapons. There are some practical applications, sure- LEGION and CHARIOT in particular. But even those are hindered by certain factors. First of all, until I can figure out how to disengage Daedalus' genetic key, I am the only one who can use this technology, until I find a way to reverse-engineer or otherwise make it available. But even if I do, I'm not sure anyone but me- or someone like me- could use it. Even something as innocuous as CHARIOT wouldn't be of any use to a normal human, as they don't have the kind of durability I have to be able to use it. LEGION is even worse. Even if someone could survive having their mind stretched so thin across all of LEGION's platforms without snapping, the resulting sensory overload would fry their brain in their skulls.
A normal human is incapable of using these gifts I've wrought. So why is it that I can use them?
"because you're not human. not anymore."
...
That's what Daedalus told me when I asked him that question. The implications are... unsettling. For now, it's a moot point, but someday, that day of peace I once so desired will come. The question is whether or not I want it to anymore. I'm less sure now. My creations can only be used by me, or someone like me. If I really want to share my "gifts" with the world, I will have to make the world like me. I will have to make them... more than human. Some might say that wouldn't be such a bad thing. I am fit, strong, capable. My awareness of the world is beyond superhuman, and unimaginable power dances at my fingertips. My body is resistant to disease, injury... I'm not even sure if I age anymore. Some might say that the world deserves to have that power. That everyone deserves to change, "for the better."
Ultimately, the question is whether or not I have the right to decide that everyone should change. When the time comes, and I have not just the power, but the opportunity to change the world... should I?
