Once the group arrived to the apartments, others quickly went to check their respective rooms and roommates. Storm waited for a moment, for the initial rush to die down. The group began to dissipate as people decided to embark on their own, little, adventures and Storm stepped up to the plate. His eyes swiftly shuffled down the list, coming to a halt after pinpointing his room and whom he had been paired with.
'Viviana?'... The name had surely drawn a blank. These people were all still complete strangers, just as he was still a shadow in the crowd. He didn't bother himself, too much, trying to pin a face to the name because they would eventually have to meet sooner or later at the room. The only thing he had hoped for was that he had a bearable roommate and that's setting the bar pretty low.
By now, most had already wandered off alone. Storm, on the other hand, chose the path of least resistance. He would first go check out his room, maybe wait a little while in case his roommate shows up. Then they could possibly choose to adventure from there. It would allow them to get to know a little about each other and not stay cooped up in the room, like birds in a cage. This option also served as a security measure. Should anything wild happen -not that he's anticipating it- it's definitely much better to have another person there. Nothing would leave a greater first impression than getting lost in a mysterious, new, world.
Storm noticed a man holding an elevator for any other takers. It didn't seem like there were any others who chose this path and Storm didn't blame them. A goliath stood between them and the quickest route to their room. Storm was a bit on the taller side, but even he would look like a dwarf next to this guy. He couldn't help but imagine the giant as a guardian of the elevator, saying something like 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS!'. The thought forced a chuckle, as he neared the elevator, Xyalor trailing close behind.
Having entered the elevator, Storm couldn't help but look up at the man, gauging the height difference. He had never really felt so tiny in his life. "I'd ask if you're going up, but....by the looks of it you're already there" he said with a playful smile "The name's Storm and this here is Xyalor"
