That said, I have recently obtained a copy of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, and am starting my own campaign with blokes who are near me, and was wondering if anyone had any advice to give?
I am planning to have the campaign take place during the waning years of the clone wars, the game starting proper during the battle on Coruscant, the tutorial of sorts more or less being the battle on the ground and into space, and climaxing with the CIS flagship exploding, while Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Palpatine still on it.

After that I intend to have the war continue, since without the Sith lord's hands upon the strings no quick end would occur as it had.
I turn to you, my internet roleplaying friends and colleagues, for suggestions on both how to run the game, what if any other changes to the timeline I should have, and your thoughts on the ramifications of Palpatines death at that point in the story.
Mind, I still need to figure out also the exact order of events that took place on the ship, for Obi-Wan and Anakin to fail, for the ship to explode, and for Dooku to survive, and he would need to because without him the CIS wouldn't last long enough to be good villains.

So, thoughts? Or perhaps I asked the wrong people, and should deal with my problems on my own. Either way, asking doesn't hurt I hope.

Well, my first thought is how do I acquire this game. But my second is to not forget other villains...like Admiral Trench, and Grand Admiral Thrawn might also be out there somewhere. And my third has yet to be thought of.

Yeah, I've been thinking pretty much the same thing. Is Nivi still with us? Because with the exception of my finagling a post out of Magnus...which is only really holding up one character specifically, and that is one of Zarkun's...she is kinda holding up the roleplay. Which means I will have to start doing what I probably should have done long ago, and that is puppet. And I don't want to do that, because this is an important area where I would dislike puppeting if it were my character.

If Nivi won't post, even with a multitude of people trying to get them to, then clearly they no longer care about this RP, and therefore, their character. Or they no longer have time, but it would have to be a truely dire case if they have not even the ability to inform us of how bad the situation is, either way Nivi is gone from us for some amount of time it would seem.

We either need to find a new player to commandeer the character, get someone to puppet it until Nivi returns(if ever), or find a logical way for the Admiral to die, thus removing the problem of puppeting though creating major ramifications for the plot(Which might actually be interesting...).

No matter the situation though, I trust our glorious GM to see is through this.

I believe it's a safe assumption to dub Nivi as a drop out for the rest of this RP (however long that may be). That said, I feel she should always be given the right the jump back in if she so wishes so killing the admiral may be a last resort if we can't figure out any other way to progress the plot. I will be posting a reply now that I can and I hope that this RP doesn't die as I've found it somewhat enjoyable up until this point.
