lol dude stop being so melodramatic
As someone who NRPs a lot, I am going to tell you that you are rushing everything. NRPs are overall a lot slower than traditional RPs, its not unheard of for them to take a week to get anywhere. I've had RPs where they sit dead for like a week give or take before they explode/gain a lot of attention.
Also, get used to the fact that your own RPs will die, all RPs die at some point, its an inevitability. Circle of life and all, don't let it put you down.
I'm not really considering myself being melo-dramatic, I'm just not going to waste my time, keeping this alive and keeping my hopes up would be.
A legitimate example of this would be just last week on a different RP site, I booted up an RP I had spent 3-4 daysworking on.A totally original Sci-Fi RP with in depth detail and lore.I stayed up late one or two nights even to work on it a bit.
I kept it alive for 7 days total, so a week.
The RP site itself had 2.5 million registered users and on average 500 on at one time.
I got 1 signup and 1 tag.
Then, when I lost hope and killed it, I get flooded with messages and posts like yours, "Oh be patient and keep it alive and give us a chance to do this and blah-blah-blah"
I'm sorry but the reality of it is is that what you described rarely happens.
So what I've learned, other than NEVER EVER pour so much time and heart into an RP like I did last week ever again, is that if it doesn't light up in a few days, don't expect much if anything.
Again, I'm not trying to be melodramatic, just realistic.
