You're welcome to have your character pop into my interactions. My only request is that as you do it make it flow some. Reading over the IC, some of the interactions so far seem forced and awkward.
@Gisk Wait, I reread my powers thingy again. I guess really wanting to get back at someone for being r00d would mean some conscious effort to make them pay- so she grabs Jasmine's arm, drains her a good bit, and then runs off because #r00d.
>is a cool kid >uses all the popular things >#RespectMe >#TotallyInTheKnow
I like making fun of all the things people say nowadays- salty and r00d :b and hashtags too

My question is how does she even know she has powers yet?
One issue I'm seeing a little that plagues RPs like this is that people get their ability and immediately know. I'm running my character in such a way that he's carrying around an umbrella because he thinks it's just rainy right now. But as things persist some and he wants to go fly or something, and just wishes it would clear up things start changing. As he begins to draw connections and conclusions then things start getting more intense.
I think that if we make them just know, then we miss out on a big interaction opportunity and make it kinda unrealistic.
I'd like to clarify that it isn't just you. Others have been showing it. Just food for thought.
@JunkMail I thought I wrote a thingy already addressing this earlier when you first posted, but I guess it didn't post.
tl;dr Yeah, you've got a good point. I made her changes much more sudden than they should've, thus making it more obvious. I am trying to tone it down a good bit more in my next post, which should be up shortly.
@Mr Allen J Jasmine should be more careful with who she angers, because ANYONE could hurt her.
Just walk up behind her or something, and just SCREAM. Wouldn't even need to get close- anyone could drop her simply by screaming really loudly and with a high pitch.

Well, Jasmine is extremely arrogant and overconfident, but at the same time, she knows who to pick with. She isn't worried about the likes of Alexandra, as say a 6'4 dude that weighs over two-hundred pounds.
@Minato Namikaze Yeah, they pegged it, friend. You need to separate speakers by a paragraph. You might break some of those chunks of text up in other ways, too. They're just a bit awkward to read.
Also, problem with the post. Did you read the other posts, or the CSes attached to the characters, before posting? Kassidy(Kyrisse's character)'s mum owns and operates the Cafe, and in her post they haven't left to open up shop yet. So it's not open right now. A good thing to do would be to arrive just before it opens, and be there when they arrive to unlock the door.
And Zoey works there, too, so it's kind of weird for you to interact with an NPC when there's a bunch of player characters in that exact position that could have been there for you to talk to.
@Gisk@Minato Namikaze I'll put in something for the cafe in my next post so that Minato won't need to edit so much.
@Mr Allen J There's passive aggressive and all that, but your character's really just kinda assholish.
Really torn between Alexandra verbally punching her back or just having her hurt. Dunno yet.
@Gisk Would it be possible that Alexandra could intentionally leech the energy out of someone via touch, provided she wanted to hurt that person, or had a strong negative emotion? Like, she just gets really angry, and grabs them- and drains them of just about any energy they had.
Of course, then she'd be horrified.
But is it purely a passive effect or will it have this more active one?
Yeah, that's definitely one way the power is meant to work.
Alright, folks. There's a few intro posts going around still, I know, but other than them, the average for post length is pretty long. Just consider what actually needs to be there, don't go putting filler in to make your post longer.
Just wanted to ping some of the people who have been quiet lately. I get that it was the weekend, and some may be busy, but I'd like to keep momentum going.
@Gisk I think you may have misread Eyeris' post. lol
'I don't know, but I think I can read minds...' Bae did not know what she had just done, but Audrey, Alexandra, and Jasmine might also be thinking this thought. If they did they would hear it in their own mind's voice, as if thinking it themselves.
@Mr Allen J Er, I may have misunderstood. Is it meant to be implied that she didn't physically speak? Otherwise I think my post is reasonable. She may have heard it in her own "voice" but she was also hearing it outside. So she combined the two together and attributed it to Bae(and then remarked that it was weird she could hear it so well).
